I just went in for a list of prices and an idea of how good a service I might recieve if I rented them from the store. I was looking at a number of places for someone I felt comfortable with and felt would be able to help me smoothly with no issues on my big day. I seen Milner as I was driving down the road and decided to check it out, dispite having had no one mention it in a suggestion. I walked in, and it took the woman a full 6 minutes for her to decide to stop playing in her paperwork and even say hello, though she looked at us when we walked in the door. I explained the style wedding was leaning more to a goth style as it is being held on halloween. When I asked her if she was familiar, she proceeded to tell me how she threw her son out of her house for being goth. I bit my tongue and proceeded on with the conversation. I should have walked out because it only got worse. As I tried to explain what I was looking for, I felt like she was talking to me down her nose the entire time. My sister is one of my bridesmaids and had a lot of questions herself, which were similar to the ones I had. Everytime my sister would open her mouth, the woman would look annoyed. The last statement, was when she decided to say "well not saying you don't have the money but weddings can just be pricey." Truth was, I was actually looking at spending a lot of money and money wasn't really an issue. I wouldn't recomend this place to anyone. I don't care if she likes the mention of a "goth style" or not. It's my wedding not hers, and there was no reason for that kind of treatment or attitude. I went to ABC Rental and got great service, an immediate list of prices, suggestions, and everything else.
