Makayla + Meadowlark Events did such an amazing job on my wedding day. Makayla was able to be both always present and behind the scenes at the same time. She took control when necessary, with my wonderfully rowdy groomsmen, and made sure my groom and I were both set to go throughout the day. Even in the early stages of planning, Makayla assured me that the Big Day I had always envisioned would come to fruition. She orchestrated vendor greetings and setup, took care of a small place-card fiasco, did aisle timing for the entire wedding party (including 2 toddlers), made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, and so many more things that I would’ve have known about because I was enjoying my day. I recommend her to every bride I come across, as she is patient, organized and driven. I cannot thank Makayla enough for making sure my wedding day was absolutely perfect.

We are so lucky to have found Meadowlark Events. We had a fairly DIY wedding with lots of different vendors coming together, and we didn’t have a single worry on our wedding day—Makayla was on top of everything. As soon as you meet her, it’s immediately clear that Makayla is amazing at her job. She’s also so much fun to work with, and we loved her enthusiasm. She embraced all of our non-traditional ideas and really tailored the experience to us as individuals. She’s quick to respond to questions and, on our wedding day, took care of anything we needed, plus all those little things we didn't even know we'd need! We are forever grateful for all of Makayla’s and her assistant Clare’s work, as they helped us throw the wedding of our dreams.

Makayla was FANTASTIC! We had a DIY wedding and ended up having to switch venues 6 months before our wedding date. We are so glad we had Makayla through the whole process. Her help and creativity made our wedding at the Scott County Fairgrounds a huge success! She responded to all our emails very quickly and was great at 'checking in' throughout the planning process. Our meetings with her leading up to the wedding were VERY helpful, she kept us on point and made sure we were not forgetting to do or think about anything. Makayla's excitement and genuine passion for wedding planning made her really easy and fun to work with. I could tell she truly wanted us to have our dream wedding. On the day of the wedding, Makayla made sure everything went smoothly and on schedule. She really did a great job taking charge and handling all the little unexpected problems. I don't know what we would have done without her! If you are planning a wedding, I highly recommend Meadowlark Events!
