It was such a phenomenal experience to work with Laine Palm. My son got married this weekend and he and his “now” wife hired Laine to help them plan their wedding from long distance. They constantly told me how prompt, detail oriented and creative she was. She helped me with the Rehearsal Dinner and it was simply fabulous. Where to even begin. Being a wedding photographer, I've worked with several wedding coordinators in the past and have been longing to work with Laine! I finally had the opportunity to work with her on one of the most challenging weddings of my career. It was an outdoor wedding, literally EVERYTHING was outside and the weather was not cooperating, it rained more than it's rained all summer, but Laine created the most beautiful day for the couple. We went into the year of wedding planning with the classic, "we've got this!" mentality. As it turns out, planning a wedding is hard. You can be the most organized type-A person but you still can't plan for what you don't know. When it came down to it we were rookies. The idea of executing a wedding day set up and take down was daunting, and we soon realized the wedding business is it's own beast and we were out of our league. A few months before the day my mom found Laine online to help us with day-of coordination. One of my biggest takeaways from our day is to really invest in good vendors. We had about the worst weather we could've dreamed up for our day, crazy rain and thunderstorms, and she showed up ready to go. Laine and her assistant took care of everything from the big stuff to the small details. It could've been a very stressful day with the weather, but we had the best time. You can't plan for a lot of stuff that happens on wedding day. Our weather was bad, our caterer didn't do their best work, but we didn't have to worry about it. I will 1000% recommend Laine and her team to friends, family, and people searching for a great coordinator on the internet!

Getting married? A word of advice: HIRE LAINE! One of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding was to hire Laine as my day-of-coordinator. We could not have had the beautiful and seamless wedding day without her. To say she is responsive, prompt, detail oriented and insanely organized is an understatement. She is kind, thoughtful, creative, and gets things done. Although I hired her for day-of coordination, she met me in person 6 months prior to our wedding, provided an indispensable online wedding planning program that I used daily to keep me on track, and answered any questions I had leading up to the big day. The day of my walk through at my reception venue, I arrived on time and Laine was already there with her laptop out, sending the meal tracker to the event manager. She reached out to all the vendors, sent timelines to everyone and made sure everyone knew where to be and when. If there were problems on my wedding day, I didn’t know about them! When I arrived at the venue, Laine was already there setting up and making sure everything was running smoothly. She did everything from setting up of escort cards alphabetically, telling us when to walk down the aisle, assisting with the room flip, when to cut the cake and loaded our cards and gifts into our car. I did not worry about one thing because Laine was there taking care of everything. My mom and I kept saying, “What would we do without Laine?!” Ladies and gentlemen getting married, do yourself a favor. Hire Laine!

It's impossible to boil down the infinite amazing things about Laine into one review! Let's just say our entire wedding chanted "Laine, Laine, Laine" not once but twice during our wedding weekend. Laine deserved that praise plus so much more because she is TRULY THE BEST wedding planner and human being. If you are planning a wedding, HIRE LAINE IMMEDIATELY. We worked with her for full planning and it was the best decision we made... and it will be the best decision you make, no question. Laine not only planned our wedding day but an entire weekend with multiple events. Laine has an eye for design that helped elevate our weekend beyond our wildest dreams (she even surprised us with the most beautiful tapestries for our seating chart that made me cry) and her attention to detail is unmatched (we had beautiful charger plates set for our seats and even the napkins were perfectly/artfully folded). She's a great judge of character and quality in terms of vendors and in turn she's a magnet for the best vendors out there (it's all thanks to her that we were also obsessed with our photographer, our florist, our band, our caterers, our videographers, everyone involved!). And while she does all that, she's the most fun, thoughtful, direct, and get stuff done person. My parents and my husband and I couldn't have been more thankful to have worked with Laine -- we just wish we could do it all again! I can't recommend Laine enough!!

Laine was a total DREAM to work with from first contacting her, all the time in-between, and the wedding day. First of all, she's so incredibly responsive and replies quickly to email. If she doesn't have an answer, she'll at least tell you she's looking into it which I appreciated, and she leaves out of office emails if she's busy or traveling. She listens to all your needs, concerns and grand ideas and helps make it all a reality. Laine does not miss a detail, I was continually blown away of the things she thought of that I never would have. And then, she's just downright friendly, cool and genuine. She cares not just about the bride and groom and working with the vendors, she cares about your family and friends. Multiple family members and friends commented about how amazing Laine was. I used Laine for the day-of coordination but she checked in regularly with me beforehand and does all the behind-the-scenes contact work with the vendors making sure they all have what they need in the venue and set up my timeline which was so helpful. She worked very closely with the venue as well, The Lynhall, to make sure everything was in place. I felt so confident and never once did anything go awry or not as planned. She and the Lynhall staff were perceptive to when the apps were gone and moving up dinner which I appreciated because I never would have noticed and it kept all of our guests happy. I also want to point out she uses Aisle Planner for sharing details and keeping the wedding day running smoothly. It was great to use for keeping organized, storing invoices and receipts, keeping the timeline and you can choose to track guests here if you aren't using another website or doing it on your own. And a huge bonus, you can see all of Laine's work on Instagram, she is very active and I appreciated before the wedding because you see exactly how she works with vendors and couples and the pride she takes in every single wedding. If it's not obvious yet, I'd highly recommend Laine for your wedding day. Her attention to detail is on another level, her personality couldn't be any better, and she goes above and beyond for you and your family and friends. The value for her services was actually invaluable, this is the one thing I suggest all couples do is hire a planner, so much peace of mind for someone who is an industry expert in the Twin Cities!

Going into your wedding day you have a vision of what you think you want it to look like. Laine exceed that vision tenfold. Every detail was in place and better than expected. First off, Laine is by far one of the greatest human beings I have ever met! Not only is she extremely talented in all that she does, but she has such a warm, kind, loving, and energetic spirit, and only wants to help her clients by bringing their dream wedding to life. I have had the honor of working with Laine for a little over a year now due to some wedding scheduling issues marrying a military man with a schedule that is either always changing or nonexistent. Our first date had to be postponed until further notice as my fiancé would be off at training, and instead of throwing me on the back-burner like some vendors have due to all the "uncertainties" that come with a military wedding, Laine was there for me every step of the way. Through all the frustration, tears, worry and concern for whether I would even be able to celebrate that magical day, Laine was always positive and reassuring, always there by email, phone or text, very flexible and understanding of whatever the military through at me or my fiancé, and as of 2 weeks ago, Laine got my husband and I all situated for our big day; everything flowing flawlessly! Regardless of the hectic 'up in the air,' and every changing military schedule, my stress and uncertainty whether anything would ever work out, Laine will be there, every step of the way. I will forever be grateful for her, her organization, her spunky but professional personality, and the work she put in to making our wedding and reception one of the best days of our lives! We knew we wanted support on the day of our wedding, so we hired Laine to be our day of coordinator. This was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. Laine was a total joy to work with. From our very first meeting so many months ago, all the way through even after the wedding she was incredibly helpful and a total blast to be around. She was so much more than just a day of coordinator. She helped us figure out estimates for food and alcohol, a reasonable timeline for the day of, and was a soothing source of reason when things started to go a bit awry. Laine Palm Designs was incredible to work with! We hired Laine and her colleague Brianna for our wedding. Because of the location we selected, there were tons of vendors we had to work through. They made our wedding so much easier, and enjoyable. We felt in control and in good hands the entire process.
