If you want to eat molding bread and work with rude people this is the place for you. First off we were working with Geoff and he was great. If I asked for something he would he give or he would respond in an polite way saying it couldn't be done. Then something happened with Geoff halfway through and no one at high point contacted me. I had to contact them asking what was going on cause I hadn't heard anything in a while. Then Christa took over. She knew nothing about my wedding at all and if I wanted to do something she was always against it. She acted like it was her own wedding. At this point I almost changed caters, I should of, but it was too late. The one person from that company that was great was Natasha who did everything on our wedding day. By the way yes they changed our person once again. On our wedding day dinner was late, like an hour late. Then I found out they served moldy bread to my guest. When my mother-in-law called they did nothing about it. If you choose them be ready to go through hell.

High Point Farms and Catering are AWESOME!!! The Farm is a great place, very spacious and good amenities such as gazebos and shelters. The employees and owner are awesome as well, very easy to talk and work with and very accommodating. My wife and I are photographers and have shot several events here including weddings and corporate. Food is great!!! We've eaten several time at the Farm and at a couple other locations that the HighPoint Catering serviced. The food was always great and the staff polite and helpful. Highly recommend you check them out and consider them for your next event. gary

Our organization has been doing a crab feast picnic for many years, with staff doing much of the work for food and drinks (and me coordinating the games). This year we all got to sit down, relax and focus on enjoying ourselves because High Point took care of everything. The games coach was wonderful, the food was delicious, and everyone at High Point was friendly and helpful. Everyone had a great time and we are so thankful we found High Point.

Gorgeous venue. Had an awesome time here for a wedding. Sweeping green fields and a quaint reception set up. Was afraid it would look like a typical cook out given the pavilion/tent set up but it was much more intricate. Very nice to walk around and a little gazebo to wander off to and chill with a date. I ended up barefoot in the grass by the end but the venue was nice enough for that. Random but the bathrooms were so neat. No portapotties- they had air conditioned trailers very well fitted and designed.

Having planned, set up and worked the employee picnics for years my small crew and I loved that High Point does it all! Our only job this year was to show up and enjoy! I highly recommend High Point Catering and Events, we have used their drop off and full service catering services for many years with great results (and value!). I can't speak highly enough regarding the service Christa and her team at High Point Events provided for us for our recent wedding! My husband and I decided to do one of their BBQ buffet options--our guests were raving about how delicious everything was! It's also an extremely affordable option for couples who are trying to save money in their wedding budget, especially compared to other catering services provided in the DC area . Christa and her team also went the extra mile to take care of us and made sure that we had nothing to fret over the day of our wedding while we were busy getting ready. They made sure we had plenty of food and drinks throughout the evening as well! Our wedding and reception went off without much of a hitch, and a great deal of that was thanks to the team at High Point Events.

Had a great departmental picnic here July 25th. Good food, nice shelter and seating, basketball courts and Cornhole, and inflatable obstacle course, and large air conditioned bathrooms. This event venue offers many options with a great staff and selection of services.

Our neighborhood summer swim team had our end of season banquet here in July and everyone had such a great experience. We've always held our banquets at local restaurants in the previous years, but it was such a welcome change to have it at the High Point site. The location was beautiful and the 100+ kids and their families had such a fun time on site running around, playing on the playground, playing basketball, etc. Bob, Jeff, Tuan and Monica did an amazing job working with us from start to finish and the food was great too. We can't wait to return there for another event!

They are a one-stop shop for everything so they make it very easy to do any type of event from small gatherings to large-scale events with catering and entertainment. Christa saved our lives! We contacted HighPoint on 12/29/2015 for our wedding on 2/6/2016. Long story short, my mom saw a fortune teller and picked the "perfect" date to get married at it was 2/6/2016. We found out during Christmas so we needed help to pull off a wedding in a month. I think we literally emailed HighPoint with the subject "help us". Over new years, Christa and her staff worked to give us a tentative menu and ideas on a venue. Given that it was in the middle of winter and we didn't have much time, our options were limited. Also, we didn't know how many guests we were having, so we kept changing the numbers on Christa. I'm pretty sure when I called her she sensed the stress and extreme anxiety I was having. But Christa never complained and she never got upset, she just rolled with us and kept trying to accommodate our changing requests. And she was always helping us try to find a venue too. It took us about two-three weeks, but one of her suggestions was perfect and we decided to have our wedding at VisArts in Rockville. It was even better that HighPoint has worked before at VisArts! After we booked the venue, we were so relieved and now we could have a "real" wedding since we had a venue and could invite guests with an actual location. lol. But seriously, Christa and her team helped us so much. The weeks before the wedding we had the food tasting, and honestly I commented on every single item on the wedding menu. But they listened, and they made the changes and the food at the wedding was delicious! Also, Christa is so beyond amazing that her and her team took all of our flowers, vases, table numbers, tea lights, etc and prepped them all a the venue the day of the wedding. They were able to flip the Buchannon room at VisArts from a ceremony to a reception in an hour with all the requests that we wanted for the tables and decoration. And they even cleaned up and nicely packaged all of the wedding items so we could pick them up the next week. I was so relieved to know that Christa had us covered before and after the wedding. We made so many requests and at times were so confused with such a quick wedding but they are true professionals and accommodated our needs. My family kept telling me that Christa was so in charge and taking care of all the details during the wedding. It's so true. If you hire HighPoint catering you get a wedding coordinated, wedding caterer and day of wedding planner all in one. I can't recommend them enough, we loved the venue, the food and she made the wedding so much fun for us and effortless. We were able to enjoy ourselves fully on our wedding day because they did an awesome job. Christa even brought us cocktail hour food upstairs to make sure we ate something.

Great place to host company picnics, we've had many here. Pleasant and scenic setting, plenty of space for parking and separation between your event and other companies who are holding events the same day. Plus they cater with delicious food, a variety of entertainment options, and have a friendly and knowledge staff.

A wonderful facility. Much larger than I thought. The event at was held there on 4/14/18 was run better than any OCR I have done in the past 10 years. The staff was friendly and professional. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and his manager, two quality individuals. I would definitely use their catering services for events that I hold. Whether it be corporate or social.

I cannot rave enough about our account manager, Melody Wardak. She is now one of my trusted industry experts! She was incredibly warm, kind and professional from start to finish. She handled the logistics of everything from the food, venue, decor, equipment rentals, entertainment and more. This allowed me the ability to focus on other smaller details of the event, and time to meet & greet with our guests. I hope to be a repeat client with Melody and High Point for years to come!

1. My husband and I used this venue for our reception on July 5, 2014. The outcome was just what I wanted and it turned out very well. The food was great and everything ran on schedule. Christa Oden was our POC and she was very helpful, although at times It felt like she tried to up-sell us on different items that could be added to our contract. Regardless, she went with everything WE WANTED even though she made suggestions. 2. Also, the day of the event, our POC was helping herself to the food the whole time and a couple of my wedding party members did not appreciate that. I personally didn't appreciate it when I was told what was going on. In the end I just let it go, because I'm easy going and it was my wedding and I didn't want to have any worries. 3. We also utilized a shuttle to and from the hotel that Christa suggested. Our guests were told that the shuttle would only do one run from the hotel to the reception. We spoke with Christa and made sure that the shuttle ran continuously since there was a four hour minimum to use it. I saw the shuttle drop off guests at the beginning of the reception, didn't see until almost the end of the reception when it started to run back and forth since people were leaving. Now I'm not sure if it came more than once at the beginning of the reception but, it was there for me when I was ready to go. 4. When we had the tasting for the menu there were somethings that we didn't like and they made adjustments to suit our taste for the food. For example, we order the blackened salmon, when we tasted it was too salty for our taste so, we asked if we could just do a simple salt and pepper seasoning with lemon and a little teriyaki sauce on the side, which turned out to be perfect. 5. Also, there are basketball courts, playgrounds, horseshoe etc at each site I believe so if you have children its a good place to hold an outdoor event. 6. I enjoyed the food, the venue and it was exactly what I wanted it to be. I wish I could do it again :-)

Wonderful place to hold an event. The planning staff couldn't be nicer and was very helpful to me while planning our company event. The food and entertainment options were outstanding. Very easy to customize to fit different interests and budgets. Event day ran smoothly and the on-site staff made it very easy for us just to enjoy the day. Definitely recommend High Point for big and small events--love that they can take care of everything!
