Jessie is organized, extremely calm, and works behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. She handled a few last minute hiccups with ease and without being flustered. Worth every penny and would highly recommend Ruby and Pearl. It was great to enjoy the wedding without worrying about any of the details.

Where do I even begin?!? Hiring a wedding planner was a top priority for my husband and I from the very beginning of the wedding planning process, and Ruby and Pearl was easily one of the best decisions we made. The layout of their services is genius and allows for couples to choose and pay for the exact services needed/wanted, yet feel as though they are getting a full planning service regardless of how much or little assistance is needed in the planning process. Their most basic package that is often referred to as a "month of" is far more comprehensive than what any other planning company around is offering. From the moment the contract with Ruby and Pearl is signed, there is unlimited communication with your planner, an interactive to do list, vendor referral lists, and an area to upload all of your vendor contracts for your planner to review. Jessie was our phenomenal planner and there was never a moment that we felt alone in the planning process. Whether it was suggestions, holding my hand through making tough decisions, or talking me through a process, she was always there when we needed her. If she didn't have the answer, she'd research whatever it was, talk to her team and get back to me. Every single phone call, email and meeting was exceptionally professional and an efficient use of time. The month of the wedding she completely took over which allowed me to relax a little and cherish my last few weeks of being a bride. The day of the wedding is what really solidified just how incredible Jessie and the staff at Ruby and Pearl truly are. Jessie flawlessly worked with all of our vendors and made sure everyone was doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing when they were supposed to be doing it. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed and more and know that Jessie and Ruby and Pearl played a large role in making our day so flawlessly perfect. Thank you Jessie and Ruby and Pearl from the bottom of our hearts! You are all amazing!!

My daughter said the sweetest thing yesterday, she said I was so much fun on the day of her wedding as we gathered to do hair and makeup with her bridesmaids. I realized that it was because Jessie and Valerie had my back, and everything was running like clockwork. When the wedding was approaching they made everything easy, vendor management, answering my questions, staging the photo shoot so well, and that amazing production schedule for the entire day and evening. They were consummate professionals, and so very sweet. That feeling of “I got this” wasi in great part due to their efforts, and I am so grateful to them for making our girl’s day so perfect!

It was a rocky experience with Ruby and Pearl. I was drawn to their pricing and availability for their day of wedding planning package. I would have access to my assigned planner from the day I made payment until the event. Which was really cool and unusual because most of the other planners didn’t want to start communication until a month before at most. I was disappointed however with the planner I was assigned. She was helpful, but generally didn’t seem too enthusiastic throughout the entire experience. When discussing our processional song, I asked her to play our song from my phone, seeing as we were not going to have any live musicians during the ceremony. Her response was “ I don’t want to get stuck playing DJ for your family for the rest of the evening”... I was really taken aback by that comment. She ended up being able to press play for us in the end. But what was the problem? That’s what you are there for. I don’t know the ends and outs of the wedding planning world, but I do know that a lot of the other people we hired went above and beyond for us. And generally seemed eager to please, and happy to be there. Although she seemed in good spirits with me the day of, I received lots of comments from vendors and family asking “what’s her problem?”. Basically, I did all of the leg work for my wedding, sent over contracts, and checked off boxes on a To Do List through a software called “BaseCamp”. She put together a timeline for us, and I was able to have a floor plan made up through another vendor. Nothing felt too special or personalized, just kind of felt like we were just another day of wedding to them.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Valerie, Jack and Jessie! They are truly THE dream team! They went above and beyond to bring my daughter's dream wedding to life. It was a picture perfect day thanks to their expertise and special kind of "magic"! The support they gave our entire family was second to none-they had every little detail taken care of for us. All we had to do was have the time of our lives-and thanks to them-we did! There is no doubt that Valerie is the best in the business. Her professionalism, creativity and passion is unmatched! The way she ran the rehearsal was amazing!!! Ruby and Pearl did not miss a beat! We were treated more like family than clients-they really care about the work they do. It was a special honor to have Valerie and her team in our corner for such a special day! I cannot thank them enough for what they did for my daughter, son-in-law, family and friends. To say it was absolute perfection is an understatement! I love them to pieces. xoxo

I was actually able to enjoy my own wedding! And it was great seeing my mom get to relax and enjoy herself the day of after doing so much work to make the day perfect. Jessie and Valerie sewed emergency buttons, fielded last minute requests from guests, created a production schedule, and reminded me about decisions I needed to make and deadlines. Basecamp is a great software that keeps all your wedding stuff (contracts, who's been paid and who hasn't, vendor recs) all in one spot.

I absolutely loved my experience with Ruby & Pearl!!! I consider myself a pretty difficult client because I have such a hard time focusing and making decisions, so if you're looking for someone to take your dream and provide options on how to actually achieve it- these are your people! Jessie was extremely professional and organized, but also incredibly creative and detail oriented. She helped me to consider things I never would have thought to consider (particularly with logistics for my large number of out of town guests). The day of the wedding was flawless... the team was perfect with the flow of the evening and even sensitive to the little things (like dealing with the complicated bustle on my dress... lol). All in all, working with Ruby & Pearl put me at ease and I truly couldn't imagine the process without them!
