My House Social did the catering for my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner. I can only say great things about Danielle and her crew. They were wonderful! The food was a fantastic selection of New Orleans cuisine that impressed both the locals and the out-of-towners. Everything was done on time and with care. We had extra people coming at the end of the night for dessert only, but since there was dinner food left over, Danielle made sure to keep it warm and available for the late guests. She and her crew also went out of their way to help us pack up the leftovers so we could load them on the buses and take them back to the hotel. This is a great catering service, if you're hosting an event in New Orleans. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

We are so thankful that we used My House Social for our wedding. They made selecting the food, drinks, rentals, and more SO easy! We didn't want the "traditional" wedding food, and MHS allowed us to find a chef that could provide exactly what we wanted, while still staying within our budget. One of the best decisions that we made was using a month-of coordinator. Katherine was AMAZING! She was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. Katherine handled everything - from confirming vendors, to ordering rentals, to our day-of timeline, to post-wedding clean-up. I was truly able to enjoy my wedding day (and the month leading up to the wedding) because of her! I can't recommend MHS and Katherine enough!!!

Danielle and the my House Social team are the best. We had our wedding last weekend and it couldn't have gone smoother. As everyone told us, planning a wedding is super stressful and there are decisions at every turn. When Danielle took over a month out, she was able to really weave everything together that we'd been working on up to that point. I felt taken care of at every turn and all the small details and concerns I had, she took on as her own so that I didn't need to keep worrying about them. With rain threatening the weekend of, I felt confident in our rain plan that Danielle devised even though we thankfully didn't need to implement it. The day of the wedding she was calm, on top of everything and wasn't overbearing or intrusive. She let us enjoy our day and kept the ceremony and party moving along seamlessly. Definitely recommend!

I'll start by saying my "wedding food" wasn't wedding food at all. The menu MHS social helped me to create with some incredibly talented New Orleans chefs was exactly what I envisioned and then some. Catering food is, in my experience, almost always a disappointment so working with MHS was a breath of fresh air. The meal we enjoyed on my wedding day will always be remembered. And beyond that, the experience around the meal was beautifully executed with zero stress to me on the day of the wedding! if you're looking for someone to curate your wedding day from the tiniest details, to the most important details (cough cough the food) reach out immediately. The talent they've amassed is bar none and their execution is stellar.

We had an ideal experience with MHE and Danielle in particular. She was super organized and guided us through all aspects of our wedding weekend. Besides creating a detailed timeline for us and organizing all vendors, she arranged for a tasting of our menu which was such fun. The entire team was so fun to work with and they took good care of us, making for a seamless experience. We highly recommend MHE!

It was wonderful working with Danielle, Katherine, and My House Social. Katherine was our month-of planner, and I honestly had no idea what I would need her for until she swooped in and just washed all my worries away. Every few days I would call or email her and say something like "I don't know what I should do about..." and she would reply "well that's my job!" and come up with a solution that really took my stress away. Katherine is just a lovely person! The food from our My House Social caterers (Chef Ethel and Chef Ruby) was AMAZING. Our guests loved all of it- a fresh take on some classics. We wanted to save money by doing some simpler food, and MHS is super non-judgmental about meeting your budget limits. Several times I said "please give me the cheapest one" for linens or rentals, etc., and they cheerfully went along. LONG story short, working with My House Social led to a beautiful, smooth running wedding, and everything was far less stressful than it could have been.

My House Social is such an incredible catering coordination service! I am so happy that I decided to plan and execute our menu with My House Social for our wedding! By working closely with Danielle, I knew whatever was curated was going to be the highest quality with the best vendors. By discussing our likes and wants on the phone, Danielle was able to create a customized menu that screamed the bride and groom. Anything that I had envisioned, Danielle made it happen. Our espresso bar and barista staff was a huge hit! Everyone kept raving how much they loved their drinks, from espresso shots to lattes made with oatmeal milk. The main courses and snacks throughout the evening was absolutely perfect too! Everything tasted so good, and many people got seconds! The serving staff at our wedding were so professional. I am still getting comments how perfect everything was during our reception! If I ever need to plan another event, I will definitely use My House Social. I highly suggest you do the same if you want a hassle and stress free event!

If I could give My House Social, especially Katherine, 20 Stars, I would. My daughter’s wedding was the most amazingly, memorable day and we have Katherine and My House Social to thank for it. The first and most valuable piece of advice I was given as a new mother of the bride was to get a Month of Coordinator so that I can enjoy the wedding and reception, and Katherine did not disappoint. A month out, she took over working with all of the vendors for the wedding. She made the day look effortless. She had everything for the day planned down to the minute, starting at 7am that morning (actually the day before with the rehearsal) to the clean up that evening and I didn’t have to worry about any of it. It was an amazing day and I can’t begin to tell you the number of compliments I received about how wonderful everything was and how well things flowed, and it never would have been possible without Katherine and My House Social. With a 22 month engagement, there was lots of time for ideas to change and desire for things to be added. Katherine was able to help us out with all of it. Since the wedding and reception were at Felicity Church, we were able to customize so much, including our catering. With multiple revisions of our dinner and cocktail hour menu, Katherine and Fete Au Fete worked with us to find the perfect menu with a New Orleans flair, but also accommodated our vegetarian and pescatarian guests. Katherine has the patience of a saint. The food was unbelievably amazing and unforgettable! Katherine’s knowledge and expertise provided us with wonderful suggestions and guidance. I cannot recommend My House Social and Katherine highly enough.

WOW! My House Events was a dream to work with from start to finish. Danielle and her team flawlessly executed our wedding celebration, from the menu curation (hello customized menu!) to the ambiance and guest experience, all while making the planning process fun and stress-free. We had several passed apps while guests were arriving and then had food stations at different points throughout the venue including a whole roasted pig, cheese/charcuterie table (this was a work of art in itself), mac and cheese, shrimp n grits and more! Also, our cake from Chef Ruby was as pretty as it was tasty! There was not one thing we had to worry about leading up to or during the celebration and many of our guests made a point to tell us that it was the best wedding that they had ever been too. We could not be more appreciative to have such a wonderful planner behind us making sure everything was perfect for our special day. Highly recommend!
