What did I like about the services: EVERYTHING. I can not express how smoothly and perfect my wedding ceremony and reception went thanks to Complete Events. Our photographer was so talented and the best time manager. He truly has an eye for amazing shots and captured picture after picture of breath taking moments at our event. The DJ was amazing as well. He was kind, courteous, and made it so easy for us to plan our ceremony and reception music. He kept everything lively and needed almost zero guidance, allowing me to truly and confidently enjoy my wedding. Over all, Complete Events is worth every penny. They are professional and caring. High school students are often hard to please, but our students ask us each year to get Complete Music again. When I contacted Complete Weddings & Events, the coordinator was fantastic and amenable to offering a discount for my total package (DJ service and officiant microphone) and on the deposit. Payment was easy to submit via their online website, as was the information section allowing you to detail wedding specifics (special dances, songs, people, etc). About 2 weeks prior to my wedding (March 3, 2018), I was contacted by the company to confirm their service and was advised that my DJ would get in contact with me at the beginning of the week of the wedding to work out any details - sure enough, my DJ, Alexander, got in touch with me that Monday. I emailed him a list of songs I had collected over the past year to be played. I basically had specific songs and genres to give him an idea of what my husband and I wanted played throughout the night and told him he could have fun and play those songs or similar songs. I was also able to text him with any additional songs I wanted on the list and he took any last-minute requests. He was totally available and so easy going to work with. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND using Complete Weddings & Events as a DJ service. They are organized, professional, and I personally did not encounter any issues with their service. It was wonderful to work with them and my DJ let me know to contact him/company should I ever need any services in the future! Great company, great night!!

We used COMPLETE for our wedding in NOLA in February. Everything was perfect! Their communication the months leading up to the wedding down to the end of wedding night were great! Ryan (DJ) was super outgoing and made sure to play all of our "unconventional" dancing music while ensuring every single guest made it out to the dance floor. I get the appeal. It’s a one stop shop and they offer a great price. Here's my story: My hesitation before hiring was with the photographer. I looked through the various portfolios on their website, and only one spoke to me. I explained this to the person who I was communicating with at Complete, and they assured me that the photographer I wanted was available for our wedding day and that we could have her. Well, fast forward to 2 months or so before the wedding. I reached out to Complete and inquired about Bridal Portraits with the photographer I had requested. They informed me that she was not the one assigned to my wedding! I would have probably raised more hell at this time, but the new photographer that was assigned to my wedding now was actually really good when I looked up his work. Well, he never contacted me about bridal portraits so I never got any. RIGHT before the wedding, a photographer contacts me and says she’s been assigned to my wedding. She is not the original one I requested and she is not the one who’s work I investigated and liked. She was an AMAZING person, but she was inexperienced and did not capture what we asked for. I blame Complete because they misled me not once, but twice, and the result was photos that we feel did not capture “us”. On to the DJ: When you sign up for Complete’s services, they make you fill out a ton of paperwork about your style and preferences. I don't think they even looked at it. We put so much thought and effort into our music selection. The DJ could have practically put together a playlist and pressed play based on the number of songs we listed. He did not call until about a week before the wedding, and it was clear he didn’t "get" us. Again, nothing personal against him, he was a great person, just definitely not the right person for us and for our wedding. There were several times during the wedding that Ryan and I stopped and looked at each other and said “what is he playing???” Videographer: This is the main reason I decided to go ahead and write this review. I just found out yesterday that apparently, they've used our wedding video to advertise and to show potential customers. The irony is just TOO much. It’s like the video was created just for that purpose: generic. Something that would advertise well. Watching our video for the first time should have been a happy moment, but Ryan and I had the same reaction. The music was SOOOO awful (had they looked at the information we provided them they should have known we would hate it) and they chose clips that we feel didn’t capture our favorite parts of the wedding. The ONLY good thing to come of paying so much for the videographer package was the fact that they gave us ALL of the raw footage, which we LOVE of course, because it is 100% us, not filtered. Photo booth: This was a huge hit at the wedding. I love that they gave prints there on site and gave us a digital copy to keep for ourselves with all the photos. Overall: It took them the full 12 weeks to give us ANYTHING. And this was only after I inquired a few times. On the final inquiry, I was told “Oh, sorry, we forgot to call. It’s been ready”. We didn’t get a “preview” like most companies offer. It was a 12 week wait for disappointment. For a planner and worrier, this company with their last-minute organization and changes was a nightmare. For a couple that considers themselves avant-garde, we look totally typical and unnaturally posed in our photos and video. Obviously not everyone has this experience with the company, and I think it’s all in assigning the right people to your wedding. Hiring them is a gamble so ask yourself if you’re willing to take the chance. Obviously there is nothing I can do now, so I hope this review maybe saves someone else disappointment.

OH MY GOD! Caleb King was literally the best DJ! I had never worked with a DJ before and I was really nervous learning the ropes since it was my wedding. He was so nice and fantastic. He was flexible and we met early on and we walked through everything. We discussed what kind of wedding it was, and his music choices were perfect! He included my favorite songs I wanted to play and worked in my favorite artists at the perfect time. He included a good mix or slow and party songs! He even got some of the most introverted people at our event out on the dance floor. He worked with us to make sure we were aware of what was happening and he adjusted when we wanted to change the timing or order of things! I wish I could hire him for every event I have in the future! 10000/10 would recommend. Can't give him enough praise. P.S. He also worked with me about planning around a crazy family member! lol

Our dj, Greg, was absolutely wonderful! He called the week before the wedding as promised and went through all the music with us. He already had all of the music, except one, in his library and played them for us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. The one he didn't have, he quickly got and called back to play it for us as well. He had suggestions we hadn't even thought about and playlists that were perfect for our day. The day of the wedding, he arrived early to set everything up and even helped my wife set up a surprise for me. At the reception he checked on us multiple times and made absolutely sure that everything was going the way we wanted it to. He introduced everything in such a fun way, was very interactive with the crowd, and helped guide us through the whole thing. Greg was very friendly, outgoing, and wonderful to work with. Please do not ever hire Alex as your wedding DJ! I am so upset I can barely think about it. My new husband & I talked with Alex before the wedding and gave him a list of all the songs we liked so he could either play them or get an idea of our taste in music. All I can say is other than the first 2 songs where these were planned for our first dance as husband and wife and then the parents dance song, the dance floor was pretty much empty the entire rest of our reception! We would try to get out there and dance & motivate others to come too but honestly, whatever music he was playing none of us even knew the songs, much less how to dance to it! OOOHHHH, and he drinks the alcohol that you purchased! Let me say again, he's drinking while working and doing nothing to make you happy. We kept having to have the people at the venue go up to him and request that he start playing our songs, that he announce for everyone to come up to the floor for certain things like the cutting of the cake, throwing the garter, etc. And for the cutting of the cake, all he did, once, was say OK, everyone to the dance floor. Not what we were doing or anything. And then a couple of the guests had to yell for "someone" to turn down the music while we did this. So, the dance floor was mostly empty the entire wedding. My husband & I did not get to dance to any of the songs we like, and we spent the entire time going around talking to our guests and trying to motivate people to come dance with us (even though we couldn't dance to or know the music he was playing). I am SO SORRY that we had Alex for my wedding DJ! I paid a lot for a beautiful reception and hardly got to party and dance at it, and I'm sorry to say we pretty much didn't even get to enjoy it - all because of the horrible music from Alex the DJ. At least he got paid and got to drink for free!

I had my wedding over a year ago. As I looked at the pictures today, I realized that I never really got to thank the DJ Greg and our Photogrophers from Complete Wedding. Our Wedding was held at Forest Grove Plantation and the lighting and the music was amazing and fit the atmosphere that my husband and I were looking for.
