We hired Amanda almost two year ago as our day of coordinator for our wedding as we did not have one at our venue and because we are from out of town. Over those two years she helped with whatever we needed. She attended walkthroughs, organized timelines, and was a great sounding board for ideas. The week leading up to our 7/12 wedding she contacted all of our vendors worked with them on the timeline and really made us feel stress free with all the moving pieces coming together. Fast forward to 7/10 and we realized our wedding probably would not be happening at our chosen venue due to Tropical Storm Barry. Amanda was calm through the entire thing including multiple sobbing phone conversations with me and really made us feel supported in whatever decision we made. At around 6 pm on 7/10 we decided to cancel our wedding on 7/12 and throw a whole new one at a whole new venue on 7/11. Because of her awesome reputation and contacts she literally rescheduled a whole wedding with all our vendors for the next day. I had never even been to this venue before our wedding day. Amanda not only pulled this off but it was such an amazing day. I seriously can not thank her enough. Without a doubt if it wasn’t for her I would probably still be crying over my wedding that could have been instead of glowing in the aftermath of the best day of my life. If you are on the fence about whether or not you need an event coordinator let me tell you that you do. They do all of the worrying for you and come up with plans a, b, c or in my case plan d. Amanda does all of this and still has a smile on her face. I can not recommend her enough. Thank you Amanda !
