Marcie Hancock and her staff at A Thorough Fare were absolutely fantastic to work with. Our daughter's wedding was held at Yew Dell Gardens in Crestwood, KY, and everything went off without a single hitch. In the year of planning and preparation leading up to the wedding, Marcie always made herself available for every question we had and vendor we met with, while offering countless pearls of wisdom and experience to make our decisions easy ones. Marcie is extremely knowledgeable about protocols, local vendors and suppliers, the "right" way to handle any situation and years of experience to back all of that up. She worked behind the scenes during the planning and especially on the "day of", arranging and ensuring all details, reservations, products, services, rentals, etc., were in place and correct for our daughter's big day. We didn't have to raise a finger on the wedding day and were able to totally enjoy the event, knowing that every detail had been addressed and any problems would be immediately solved. She is personable, easy to talk to, puts everyone around her at ease, and ALWAYS focuses on the bride and groom, what THEY want, and how to make their vision a reality. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner.

Marcy and her team were wonderful to work with in planning my daughter's wedding. We used them as "month of" wedding planners, but at the initial meeting Marcy answered all my questions and gave me plenty of referrals. She was easily just an email away and I felt I planned my daughter's wedding with her input of course! At wedding time, Marcy was in attendance for all final meetings and facilitated all transitional periods on wedding day. She took away the stress with her competent, professional, smiling team. From the moment I spoke with Marcie, she knew exactly what I wanted and if I had a question about anything, she was always so quick to respond.
