Called them for a catering event 3 weeks prior to the event for 30 people. Left one message, no return call. Called the next day, they answered. I told them I was looking of information regarding their catering and gave them the date. This catering company refused to even discuss pricing. Refused the order. I would have been a new customer but will never call them again.

My faience and I wanted back yard wedding but I wanted to be casual yet classy. After doing a little researching on line I came across, Mario’s Catering and Event Planning. What I loved about them was that they did everything they put up the tents, dance floor and cook for us at the wedding, and most importantly provided a me with an excellent wait staff to meet our needs. The food was excellent and was served in chafing dishes and real dishes. I worked with their event planner Jackie who guided me in selecting the proper tablecloths, dishes, and glassware to get that classy look I was looking for . I received various compliments throughout the evening on delicious the food was and how beautiful my yard looked. I highly recommend Mario’s Catering event. We couldn’t have been happier with them. This was the right choice for us!!!

Awesome place to rent party supplies. Have used them several times for tables and chairs. They also have a catering side if you don't wanna cook.

Great place to rent equipment. They are very detail oriented. I hosted a party with just over 200 people. The only hiccup there was is that I also hired the waitstaff and the ones employed by Mario’s were amazing, but there contracted people were not so much. I would definitely hire Mario’s again only with the condition that all waitstaff be direct employees of theirs. If it wasn’t for that hiccup I would have given them a 5 star.

We held a wedding reception at our home in June. We hosted 135 guests and of course the weather was of major concern. I called Marc at Mario's events in March, 3 months before the event. All I can say is he and his team did a spectacular job! From advising on our needs for tables, chairs, and tents, to set up and take down...these guys were tremendous. The equipment was very high quality and it met our needs completely. A very big thank you to Marc and his team.

We planned our wedding from out of state, online. We found Mario's by Googling for caterers and checking prices. Mario's was the ONLY reasonably priced catering that we found since we were on a tight budget. Mario's not only worked with us for a few items that were off of the regular banquet menu (macaroni and cheese for example), but were so accommodating for our needs. We didn't have to worry about plates or utensils either! PLUS the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed! I got married on October 5th and Mario's catering was the absolute best. Even though they are in illinois they came all the way to the backroads of wheatfield,Indiana to set up for my wedding. Shelly was so sweet and always helped me with any questions I had and gave me good suggestions. They didn't have any hidden fees or charges in the end and they offer everything you can think of. Mark ( i think that's what his name was) came out before the wedding and walked thru all the details with me even down to the outlets and where trash cans were going. They did an excellent job and as a bride I didn't have one worry about their services the day of and who can put a price on piece of mind! : ) I highly recommend them. Thank you Mario's for making my day so special.
