Working with Molly and FIG catering for our wedding last year was so great! Honestly, it was the easiest and least stressful part of the whole day. They have a great team and you know you can trust them to put together the event you want. I can't recommend FIG catering enough.

We just had our wedding last weekend and Fig catered our entire event. They did all the food, drinks, and signage for our wedding. We could not be more thrilled! First and foremost the FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. We chose Fig because our tasting with them was beyond delicious. We wanted our guests to have a wonderful dinner. Guests are still telling us it is the best food they have ever had at a wedding - and they go to a lot of weddings. We felt so confident in Fig, so we asked them to take care of the whole event. They did, flawlessly. From greeting our guests with cucumber water upon their arrival, to an amazing cocktail hour with his and her cocktails and small bites. Then dinner service was family style to make sure every person got to have seconds or thirds if they wanted. I loved family style because one person may want more salad, while another may want more bread. It made sure every person was happy and full! We had wild rice risotto and I'm still dreaming about it. We are Chicago foodies and we felt like we were at a fancy restaurant! The menus, signage, and impeccable table settings were a dream. Every detail was thought out. Fig was so willing to work with us on our vision and made sure we were happy with not only the food, but the presentation. My mom wanted to take one of the napkins with her they were so beautiful! The plates were all vintage style and added charm to our venue. After dinner Fig also did a pie table for dessert, with three different unique pies (keylime, espresso chocolate, and coconut pistachio) served with coffee and tea. The bar was open all night was two signature cocktails, three wine selections, and three craft beers. Fig went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy and make sure we got the wedding service we wanted. Laura, our event coordinator, worked with Firehouse Chicago to pull off a seamless event. Laura is so warm and loving and made us feel so special. The night moved from one thing to another with precision and elegance. I am beyond happy that we choose Fig to cater our event. They are professional, personable, and so good at what they do. All locally sourced, even the protein, and it is clear when you taste the food. Have a wedding dinner you will never forget. Fig worked with our budget and gave us the best catering Chicago has to offer. I cannot recommend Fig highly enough. Our wedding was a dream come true!

FIG was recommended to us by our venue (Greenhouse Loft) and we decided to book with them after they put together a proposal with a menu that was exactly what we were looking for. Over the year+ that we worked with the FIG team, they were incredibly accommodating and great with answering our questions and updating details. We were lucky enough to work with Laura, who is incredibly warm and detail-oriented. She answered all of our questions, helped us layout our floor plan and finalize other various other details. Each time we chatted I felt like she was a close friend who was genuinely excited to help us execute the perfect wedding. FIG offers a generous tasting prior to the wedding, and we had a great time enjoying all of the delicious food. They were more than happy to make accommodations (i.e. - we liked one sauce but wanted a little less spice to accommodate some of our guests) and included We were married on 9/8/18, and everything was absolutely perfect. We received so many compliments on our family style dinner and the cupcakes that were served for dessert. The entire FIG team was so warm and genuinely focused on making sure it was a great event. The team brought champagne and apps to the bridal suite right after the ceremony for us to sit down and enjoy for a few minutes before going to the cocktail hour, and they made sure everything happened right on time. Everyone got plenty to eat, and the servers and bartenders were so nice and professional. At the end of the night they even boxed up all of the remaining cupcakes for us to take with! We would absolutely recommend FIG for any event!

FIG catered our 120 person wedding at GHL. I'm not entirely sure how their price is relative to competitors. What I do know is that everything went perfectly. Molly was so attentive, organized, patient, and helpful. It was great working with her. The food was really tasty and unique; we received multiple compliments throughout the night. The staff was amazing, friendly, and professional. FIG gave us so much more than good food.

FIG Catering came highly recommended to us by our wedding venue so the bar was pretty high from the beginning. That being said, they still managed to exceed our expectations. Molly was our main point of contact and, from the beginning, it was clear that she was in complete control of the process. She impressed us with her knowledge of our venue, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure the day was effortless for us. She was extremely prompt in her communication and always provided several options to make sure we felt comfortable with our budget. At our tasting, we were blown away. The food was outstanding and the presentation was flawless. That was duplicated at the wedding itself and we received many compliments from people who were pleasantly surprised we didn’t serve “typical wedding food.” The staff was very attentive – always making sure my husband and I had what we needed without hovering or making us feel suffocated. At the end of the night, they even helped us transport the extra alcohol across the street to our hotel. We would highly recommend FIG for any event and hope to use them again ourselves!

FIG was everything and more we could have hoped for in a catering company. As a queer/trans couple, they were not just "friendly", but celebratory and enthusiastically accommodating of our wishes. We also felt like celebrities during our event because everyone on staff made sure we felt taken care of and our needs were met. Outside of the all the personal touches and details, their food ethics and politics are very thoughtful and all on top of that, delicious! My spouse is a Capricorn who needs the folks they are contracting with to be more organized than her, and FIG did an outstanding job. Highly recommend.

Our office has used FIG twice now for catered office events and I can't say enough great things about them. The food is always amazing and their staff from start to finish is stellar. They worked with me to accommodate all the dietary restrictions our office has as well. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again in the future.

We started planning late for our holiday party and put out a request for catering companies. FIG responded with a menu what beat out all others with variety and pricing. Adding on top of this a fully stocked bar with a bartender who knew how to mix drinks was a plus! FIG showed up early, setup and prepared the food. Their format for serving worked perfectly and everyone enjoyed the food. This staff was friendly and efficient when came to serving, cleaning and keeping the event moving.

All I know is that a fig catering van almost hit my large truck's front end (as in, I was no surprise to anyone) when I slowly was pulling out of a parking space. This driver was honking the whole time like a crazy person, and speeding through a residential street. Don't know bout their catering services, won't be trying them obviously, but i write this bc i think a company is only as good as their weakest link.

We spent a lot of time researching caterers for our wedding, and I couldn't be happier that we chose Fig! From the tasting, through the planning stages, to the day of, Fig raised the bar on our expectations of what a caterer can deliver. Not only was the food incredible (and we've gotten so much positive feedback from our guests about it!), but the staff was unbelievably accommodating and friendly. I can't tell you how much they added to the experience for us and our guests. We were floored by the entire experience that Fig delivered, and I would recommend them to anyone.
