We hired Sam as our day- of wedding coordinator and could not have been any more pleased with the results. From our first meetings, on through all of our follow up phone and email conversations and then the wedding itself, Sam was a dream to work with. As an event coordinator myself, I know what it takes to pull off a highly detailed, multiple-pieces kind of event. Throw on top of that various vendors, numerous schedules and family members who, in their love for you just want to be ‘helpful’ and you’ve got quite a full plate. And while I had done most all of the planning for our wedding myself, I knew these details were not something I wanted to deal with the day of our wedding. I wanted to be able to hand all of our plans over to hands that we could trust to implement everything as we had envisioned it. We could not have hired anyone more detail- oriented and hardworking to pull this off than Sam. Most importantly for us though, hiring Sam took the worry out of our wedding day. I knew from day one that I didn’t want to be dealing with phone calls from the venue or other vendors on our special day. And with Sam at the helm that day, I ended up having the most relaxing, worry-free day a bride could hope for, and that right there made our decision to hire her one of the best decisions we made in our entire wedding planning process. Sam is THE BEST!!!

I’m from Houston, TX and hired Sam as a day-of coordinator for our wedding in McCall, Idaho. From the second we first spoke on the phone Sam was warm, organized, and so helpful. She asked a lot of questions that I had not considered and helped point me in the right direction when I wasn’t sure who to call. Unfortunately, last year our first planned wedding date occurred during the Hurricane Harvey disaster while I was in Houston so we had to cancel/postpone the wedding with only a few days notice! I was a wreck, and Sam took on the task of notifying our major vendors so that I wouldn’t have to during what was a very difficult time. Cut to our second date for our wedding this year and I finally got to meet Sam and have her make our wedding happen and I am so grateful that we did! She was a LIFESAVER and allowed me to enjoy our wedding day rather than worrying about where decorations would go or who would get there at which time, etc. Sam helped our simple wedding in the woods dream come true and made it look easy, which I know it certainly wasn’t, and I don’t know how we could have done this without her. Easily the best day of our lives- if you’re unsure if this is a necessary expense please know it is. Sam is an incredible woman and knows how to make your wedding dreams a reality.

Sam exceeded our expectations for a planner in every way! From our first meeting, she took the time to listen to our ideas and act promptly and effectively to move forward with planning. Her design ideas were spot-on, her follow-through with vendors and ability to schedule and juggle is remarkable. Sam's "day-of" execution for both our Welcome Party and the wedding itself was incredible: she anticipated every possible need, including managing parking, preloading tips for all of our vendors- name a weird thing that could happen and Sam had already thought of it, plus a plan for that eventuality! Her design work warrants a shout-out: Sam doesn't do cookie-cutter weddings. She listens and then provides ideas based on who you are, the feel you're hoping for, and your budget. If you look at photos of Sam's weddings, you'll find the overall look and the lovely details are unique to each couple's style. Give her and your vendors the freedom to create, and you won't be disappointed. If I have one piece of advice it's this: hire Sam and know that you are in good hands. Our wedding planning crew was complicated: I live in Boise, and the bride and groom were out of state with very limited ability to be in Boise during the year prior to the wedding. Most of the planning took place in ONE WEEK during the winter when the bride and groom could be in Boise. Sam gave us her undivided attention that week, and had over a dozen appointments lined up to get everything figured out. She managed this beautifully, and worked with our family (around the country) with clear communication throughout the planning process. For months my friends kept asking if I was "worried about the wedding". I can honestly say I NEVER worried about a single thing, because it quickly became clear that Sam had things well in hand. Samantha Gray and her team from Sprout Design are absolutely amazing! My husband and I live in Los Angeles, CA and recently got married in Sun Valley, Idaho on October 22nd. We were so lucky to find Samantha through online searches to help with our wedding "day of coordination" needs including rehearsal coordination, setup and cleanup of our ceremony and reception. We had several phone and email conversations prior to the wedding weekend and she also provided advice and guidance through the 10 month wedding planning process. Her team was by our side the entire weekend of our wedding working very hard to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. Sprout design was simply fantastic!! Sam and her team were so responsive and so creative. I had an idea for our wedding, it wasn't until meetings with Sam that it became a reality. Shea, a member of the team, made our wedding sooo absolutely gorgeous - after the wedding we constantly got compliments. Also, they coordinated everything - the day of I didn't have to do anything. If anything went wrong I didn't know. It was the most perfect day. Moreover, they decorated, coordinated, and cleaned up at the end of the evening. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator (as I was) beause you wonder if it is really worth it - it absolutely is if you go with Sprout Design. Sprout Design was so easy to work with, they were so professional, so creative, and truly made the day of stress free and everything it was meant to be. I could go on and on about how fantastic Sam was to work with; I honestly can't imagine my wedding going as smoothly as it did without her there to guide it! Sam was my day of coordinator, but she went way beyond what that called for! She contacted all my vendors and made a "day of "rundown, which may not sound like a big deal, however when the day rolls around you'll be so thankful for that! There were, like any other wedding, a few bumps in the day, and she was a total rockstar. There was some miscommunication between myself and my florist, and so I didn't have a basket for my flower girls peddles and Sam went and found one LITERALLY last minute-- on top of that, she was constantly checking in with me and my husband, she made us plates with appetizers so we didn't miss out on them, she made us our dinner plates so I wouldn't have to walk over and navigate the Buffett in my dress, she even at the end of the night returned some of the stuff I had rented from my florist so I, myself didn't have to. Sam is an overall lifesaver to have at ANY event-- not only did she do her job, but she, just as an individual has such a fantastic personality that she kept things that could've been very very stressful, feel like nothing-- I can't count the amount of compliments I got about her. I would strongly recommend Sam and her services for any and all events!

This is a review I have been so excited to write because I honestly am eternally grateful for meeting Sam and choosing her to coordinate and design our wedding. I will recommend her to everyone and anyone. I stumbled across Sam’s website when my husband and I decided to get married in Boise. We currently live in Seattle but decided to get married in Idaho where my family is. Sam and I chatted over the course of the year, brainstormed ideas and met in person a few times when I would come home to Boise. What caught my attention when I first found Sam was her amazing eye for design and detail. I thought “this is my girl”. She KILLS the design game. I am one of the most indecisive people but Sam was always patient and listened to ideas I had. So besides the fact that she’s amazing, let’s talk about our wedding day. Sam is such an amazing planner that she had a different wedding to attend to on the day of our wedding. But we got two AMAZING people on her team to spend our wedding day with. We had the privilege of working with her husband Don and Kendra. They worked SO hard in making our day perfect. I can’t tell you how relieving it is to be able to show up on your wedding day at the venue and not feel stressed or worry about setting things up. I was able to enjoy the best day of my life with my family and that is something I wish everyone could experience on their own wedding day. What really stood out to me was the fact that Don ran to the store and painted some letters we installed as a backdrop a different color because he wanted to make sure they stood out. I was so taken back by how beautiful everything looked that it was truly an unforgettable moment being able to look around and see all this hard work come together perfectly. They absolutely killed it. DREAM TEAM. I said it before but I am eternally grateful for Sam, Don and Kendra.

Sam is awesome! She has awesome style ideas and connections in the industry. We hired her as our day of coordinator and since she booked another wedding on the same day, her assistant Brittany was there on our wedding day. I really loved working with Brittany but I felt like she could work on her time management and vision skills. She seemed a little frantic while setting up the venue even though we gave her written descriptions and inspiration photos of our vision. And I felt like she could have taken a little more initiative with some of my design elements to more match my vision more closely such as turning the lights down earlier. Overall, I was incredibly happy with how stress free my day was and the fact that my friends and family didn't have to work

Samantha (Sam) and Sprout Design is absolutely amazing! We had Sam as our day of coordinator for our December wedding. She guided us through the process of how to plan for the big day and brought up things that my husband and I never even considered. She was always available for any questions we had and was very flexible with setting up meeting times around my busy school schedule. She was so on top of everything that when it came to the big day I did not have a single worry. We trusted her completely with setting everything up and making creative decisions the day of. We really can't say enough about Sam's organization and direction for the big day, it was a huge help for us obvious newbies. In addition to set up, creating our day of timeline and coordinating with all of our vendors, she and her team help create and get printed all the posters and signs for our wedding at a very short notice. When discussing with our other vendors (caterer, florist, photographer, etc.) they were all very pleased to hear we had Sam as our day of coordinator, because they knew they big day would run smoothly. Final take away: if you are planning some/most/or none of your wedding, a day of coordinator or wedding planner, specifically Sam is well worth it! You'll truly be able to enjoy your whole wedding day because Sam has the details covered! We can't thank Sam enough for making our big day stress free and wonderful.

I can't say enough amazing things about Sam. She is unbelievable. Not only did she make our wedding out of this world, but she made it extremely easy and I didn't have an ounce of stress. She was a calm and collected presence in the face of all the chaos we threw at her- including medical emergencies, family drama and scattered-bride-brain.
