Sound wave music was FANTASTIC! Zach and his counterpart were awesome. They responded to the guests, watched the dance floor, came out and danced with people; they helped during the wedding with cueing the bridal party on when to go. They were polite and gave suggestions on the timeline and when to have certain events during the reception. I HIGHLY recommend them, there was not one thing about them that we didn't like. Kristin the owner also made sure to keep in constant contact with me during the planning process, and not just about 'dj stuff' but about the wedding and checking in on me to make sure I was doing well. Fantastic service! We have been to weddings before where the dj is inattentive, rude, played music they only liked. They never paid attention to the people on the dance floor, dj's who you can tell are just there for the money. Sound wave is there to make sure you have a great wedding or event and really participate and enjoy it themselves. We loved them!!!

I was a little hesitant about Sound Wave at first as I figured I could just plug my phone into a speaker and turn on Spotify and be good. But then I met with Sound Wave and am I so glad I did! I knew from the start that Kristin, and our DJ Talon, were going to be worth the investment. They acted as half wedding planner, half DJ. I was able to get so many cool add ons like a dance floor, sparkler exit, and even draping and lighting! Talon was the most amazing guy to work with and I even had a couple of my guests come up to me and say how fun the DJ was. Kristin was there for me whenever I had questions, changes, or just needed a second opinion. Sound Wave is forever worth it, don't even bother with other vendors!

Sound Wave was amazing!! The owner, Kristin Cole loves her job and it shows! She is so positive all the time and a joy to work with! She even sent me emails about all sorts of wedding things and vendors/photographers etc.. She was a huge help to me! I also loved their office. Their consultation room was so fun and I loved the CD glass table top! Great space! Corden, was my DJ and was excellent!! He met with me several different times to talk about the big night and was a joy to work with as well. Our first one on one meeting was over 1.5 hours and he never made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time. At the wedding, he played all of the songs that I wanted and it was the best night ever! I can't thank them enough!

The pricing is very competitive and they provide great value for what they provide. DJ Toby and assistant Trevor were consummate professionals. During our initial meeting, Toby went over everything and provided valuable insight into the music and flow of events that would make our day truly fantastic. On the day of the event, Toby helped dictate the flow of the evening and made sure that my bride and I were on schedule and moving about as we wished initially. Your wedding day will likely be a bit hectic and crazy and a top-notch DJ can make it a little less stressful and be a truly helping hand. I got married in June in Cascade and soundwaves was absolutely amazing. They did our photobooth and was our DJ. Talon was amazing, he had everyone at the wedding on the dance floor. Due our careers, my wife and I had to make a decision between waiting 2-3 years (after being with each other for 5) or getting married in two months. We decided to go with 2 months and we were obviously crunched for time. Luckily we called Sound Wave and were able to rely on their professionalism to pull off a blast of a wedding in no time. We absolutely loved working with Soundwave as our DJ and for our photobooth. We had attended a few weddings that Soundwave was at, and always appreciated their professionalism and the energy their DJ's brought to the party. As we began planning our own wedding, we met with Soundwave first and didn't even bother meeting with anyone else! Corden was so personable and professional, and the scheduling process was so easy. We loved the personal interest they took in our wedding, and how they were willing to do anything to make it special and unique for us. We loved how Soundwave was a "one stop shop" offering DJ services, lighting, photo booth, dance floor, etc. It made it so much easier working with one company for all of those details. The day of the wedding came, and nothing changed! The guys showed up on time, were very professional, and took great care of us on the wedding day. They look sharp, their setup is very professional looking, and they sure know how to keep the party going! Having someone there to MC the wedding that does it professionally makes all the difference in the world. They make it so fun, but also work hard to maintain order and keep the evening flowing well. Our guests loved the photo booth and it is such a fun way to document the memories of the evening. We would work with Soundwave again in a heartbeat, and are so glad we made the right decision!

Sound Wave did an incredible job at our wedding. Last minute, the venue dropped the bomb on us that we couldn't stake a tent, and Sound Wave came through with an awesome and unique shade structure that worked perfectly. We also used them for DJ services during the dinner and sound for our ceremony and both parts of the night went so smoothly. We knew that having technical issues during speeches would be such a bummer (and we've seen this happen at other weddings and ruin the vibe) so it was worth having this team there to make sure everything was taken care of! We discovered him through one of our vendors, and knew we wanted him for our wedding.We met with Talon twice before the wedding to review details, timelines, playlists, and more - and he was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Sound Wave Music is worth every penny. We used them for our wedding at the Boise Train Depot. They did everything for us, from the purple up lighting to the amazing DJ! Our guests have told us it was THE best wedding they had every been to! We had people on the dance floor for several hours with no break. Huge shout out to JT. He was our DJ. Our introduction to Sound Waves came through our wedding planner who had recommended them for our event. Given that we were temporarily living in Santa Rosa California, we were unable to meet with a representative of Sound Waves in person. So instead, the company and our planner arranged a phone meeting to discuss our wedding. The discussion would be held with Carley the client coordinator and also with Talon, who was our assigned DJ. Our first individual conversations with them over the phone were absolutely delightful. Carley is an extraordinarily sweet person, and genuinely cares about the individual needs of her clients. She was so attentive in her arrangements as well as the several conversations leading up to our wedding. As to our DJ, Talon, the best way I can put it is that this man was meant for his job title. You can tell he is a natural talent, knowing how to manage a crowd with ease and bring excitement to any event. The music during the ceremony was flawless and his ability to gauge the crowd during the reception kept the party going and our guests dancing until the end of our wedding. Several of our guests heaped compliments upon Talon and his assistant, delighting in the choice of music and the high energy he brought to the night. During our first conversation, Talon implored me to just relax, enjoy our wedding, and let him, our planner, and our other vendors take care of everything. Talon, you did that and so much more. I cannot even begin to explain how impressed we were with Sound Waves, and so grateful for their thoughtfulness and professionalism. It it also worth noting that we had a unexpected, last minute venue change due to incremental weather. Sound Waves went absolutely above and beyond in this crisis, accommodating this change without hesitation. They were beyond helpful and did not treat this last minute change as an inconvenience. To any bride and groom looking for a company that will make their reception completely thrilling and stress free, you needn't look any further than here. From those first, initial conversations to the actual event, Sound Waves, you are truly, truly amazing and my husband and I cannot thank you enough for making May 19th, 2019, the most memorable day of our lives.

Helen and Zach from Sound Waves did an amazing job DJing at our wedding. It was nice because we got to meet with Helen prior to the wedding, get to know here and talk about the vision we had for our wedding. Her and Zach followed the timeline we made to a tee! Every song was played on time, and they had almost everyone on the dance floor all night which was very important to us. They worked well as a team and made our night very special. Sound Waves also does lighting and they added the perfect touch to our venue with their bistro lights and canopy lights that encompassed our dance floor and made it the place where people wanted to be! We are a small school, and in the past, due to a small budget, we have scrimped on the DJ that we hired to perform at our prom. Our proms have become increasing less popular as a result. Soundwave did an amazing job on our wedding. Our DJ Corden and his assistant Patrick were absolutely outstanding. From the beginning they were so flexible with us changing the ceremony location & cocktail hour location at the last minute because of the weather. The guys were so happy and calm the entire day! He was so sincere, calm, and encouraging helping me just take a few deep breathes right before I walked out, it was exactly what I needed. When we had the opportunity to do a grand entrance he brought it up and then made it all happen perfectly. The guys were so much fun and the dance floor was packed the entire night! We had a brunch the next day and everyone kept telling me how much fun the dancing was and how they have never been to a wedding where so many people were dancing the entire time! And last but not least, Cydney was amazing to work with during the planning phase!! She was so patient with me getting everything together and SO easy to work with. The entire company's organization and communication could not be beat. We received so much useful advice and help in the planning stage, I couldn't image where we would have been without them! They helped make our day perfect and I will recommend them to everyone!!

Sound Wave was way beyond what I expected. First of all, our wedding DJ, Zack was out of this world. I'm not a person who writes reviews, but I loved working with this company and I can't imagine not raving on them in return for the outstanding service they gave us! Kristen was so sweet and easy to work with, she was always checking in and making sure not only that they were meeting all of my needs, but that I was doing okay with my whole wedding process! The meetings were so stress-free and fun-- they also provided our wedding with up-lighting, and a personalized monogram, which we received countless compliments on. It's one thing to do your job, but it's another thing to go above what your job calls for, and that's exactly what Zack did. This may seem like a small thing, but to me in the moment, as well as looking back on it, this action of his was huge and spoke volumes of both his integrity and the company's-- we got married at the train depot, and as expected while our outdoor ceremony was taking place and my husband was saying his vows, there were some people in the garden area being very loud--granted we had microphones so it wasn't a huge deal, but out of the corner of my eye, I watched for a split second as Zack very politely and very discreetly walked over to them and very kindly asked them to keep it down. The rest of the afternoon was a pure dream, and everything flowed beautifully-- like I said, I can't rave enough about their services, or how much that very small action meant to both me and my new husband, as well as the other family members that took notice of it! I would highly recommend this company, as well as Zack, for any wedding or event!

Soundwave events made our day! We hired them for our wedding and I don’t think it would have been the same without them. Talon was our D.J. and he coordinated events throughout the evening for my husband and I. He kept everything on track and always helped when I needed something. The photo booth was a hit and a great keepsake to reflect on when all was said and done. The timeline from start to finish was right on target as we planned out with Corden and not one hiccup. Not only was everything professionally handled, the spirit of fun and energy Corden and his staff displayed was infectious and spread to our guests and throughout the night. Words cannot describe how happy we are that we used Sound Wave for our reception! We highly recommend them and you will not be disappointed with their services or the opportunity to have them at an event you attend!

Soundwaves is Fantastic. My husband and I had our reception in the Boise Train Depot. The structure of the space makes the acoustics very tricky but soundwaves did an excellent job making sure the music was neither too loud or too soft. It was perfect for dancing and everyone felt comfortable enough to approach the DJ and request songs. Our DJ Chad was fantastic and working with him and Kristen (the owner) was a wonderful experience. They truly listened to what we wanted and most importantly they delivered. They had twinkly star paneling on the walls, a large dance floor, projection of our logos on the wall, a projection screen to play the music video of our first dance and a slideshow for the father daughter dance, lighting to accent i.e. the cake, candy bar, etc, multi-colored shooting lights off the walls, the most amazing high-quality photo booth I have ever seen in my life with the coolest props (option to text it to themselves, they printed out all the pics for my guests and copies for my husband and I, sent us a digital copy of them all and on top of that I chose to do the green screen of four different backgrounds my guests could pick from, and so much more). It took them 8 hours to drive from Idaho to my wedding in Eastern Washington and then 8 hours to set up. Kristen orchestrated my wedding as my wedding coordinator on top of managing her team. She cued my violinist, kora player, vocalist, drummers, and belly dancer seamlessly. I didn't have to worry about anything. Talon was the sweetest, most fun, and funniest DJ I have ever met. He was a great announcer and entertainer. He danced with my guests and showed us how to do some of the dances. He was a great DJ in general because he really felt the crowd and the music people were into and stuck with what people wanted. I swear everyone was dancing the whole night and no one wanted to stop. The party never died and 5 hours went by so fast. I had family and friends dancing that don't dance and they were out there dancing which I never thought I would see in my lifetime. My husband doesn't even dance, we had to practice dancing together for our first dance and he was out there encouraging people to dance with him. I don't know what kind of magic spell Sound Wave did to my wedding, but words can't describe how much it all meant to me. To see all of my guests out there having the time of their life with my husband and I is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. All in all, all of my guests told me that my wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to in their life because it was the most fun. And I couldn't have pulled it off without this amazing company. My theme wasn't an easy theme to work with and it was complicated with all of my entertainers and numerous music changes. I don't know how they did it, but they executed everything perfectly. I couldn't have asked for anything more. There is so much more that they did, but if I continue writing I might as well make this review into a novel. I have to stop myself from writing lol... In short (no pun intended), if you want a magical wedding then call them. I guarantee you, you will find no one better.

My husband and I are so glad we did our research and hired Soundwave as our DJs for our wedding. After we came across their website, it was an easy decision to make. Every review we found for their company was beyond positive—and after our first meeting with Zach, we could see why. Soundwave as a company exudes professionalism—the minute you step into their building you see they take their job seriously. After speaking with Zach we had no doubt we wanted to hire them for our day. The best part of Soundwave is they not only take care of their job as a DJ, they also act as virtual wedding planners which is great if—like us—a traditional wedding planner just isn’t in your budget. Soundwave helped us plan out our wedding from start to finish. I pride myself on being a pretty organized person, but having never organized a wedding before I was surprised by how much I was forgetting. Our DJs Zach and Kristin—who is also an owner of the company and completely fabulous—pointed out decisions we still needed to make, while offering advice and making us feel confident every step of the way. We got so much positive feedback about Kristin and Zach at our wedding. The guests loved them! It was really important to us that people felt comfortable dancing, and with Soundwave we had nothing to worry about. They were super professional, fun, and incredibly efficient. We had some issues with our venue and I was blown away by how Kristin and Zach went above and beyond what their roles entailed by putting out small fires for us left and right. They were AMAZING. They were also charismatic and fun to be around—they handled a jam-packed schedule from us (including a shoe game, a ton of speeches in a short amount of time, and a few crazy family traditions on the dance floor, and a sparkler send-off) and still managed to keep the vibe relaxed and casual. Our wedding was truly made by Soundwave. In addition to hiring Soundwave as our DJs, we also used them for a Photobooth. Although this wasn’t initially in our budget, Soundwave worked with us on the cost and we got a great deal around the holidays by booking early. We are so glad we did! Our guests loved the Photobooth, and we love the photo album Soundwave provided us post-wedding. It was a great memory to look over the next day, and all of our friends and family have loved flipping through it! We keep it as a coffee table book and look at it all the time even though we still haven’t ordered an official wedding album. (One day!) This review was long-winded, but they deserve so much more! You really shouldn’t consider anyone else but Soundwave—I can’t imagine any other company caring about our wedding they way Soundwave did. They were amazing from start to finish, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made for our big day!

I was one of those brides that from the beginning insisted that I did not want a DJ. For some reason, in my mind, I imagined all DJ's to be "cheesy" and "tacky", playing mainly what they wanted. But even so, my wedding planner insisted that I meet with SoundWave, and I am so happy I did!!! They made me realize that a DJ's job in not just playing music - DJ's help create the atmosphere, manage the flow of the wedding, help with a timeline, get people dancing, MC, make announcements, etc.. We met with our DJ Toby twice before the wedding. He helped create our timeline, spent time to get to know Brian and I, and asked a ton of questions to make sure that he understood the vision of our wedding, our song preferences, etc. They had us use a online song request website to make a list of all the songs we wanted to play. Kristin and Toby were both great at suggesting songs, giving advice and answering our million questions. We had a ton of compliments from our guests on how much they loved our DJ's Toby and Helen. They were classy, funny, kind and truly felt like friends. The dance floor was packed all night! Something I never imagined happening. I cannot say enough good things about Soundwave. They also provided the lighting for our venue, which was gorgeous! I highly recommend them for lighting services as well. We used amber up-lights for our reception in the Boise Train Depot. IT WAS STUNNING!

We had a great experience with Sound Wave Events this October for our wedding. They were very helpful when it came to deciding everything we needed. We live out of state so we couldn't have the kind of hands on planning we wanted do all ourselves. The wonderful people at Sound Wave were great in communicating with us over the phone, and mostly by e-mail. They provided pictures of other events they had done in the past at the same venue, and it was great to help envision what we wanted to do for ours. We planned to do our reception outside, but when the weather took a turn for the worse just a couple days before the wedding we had to make a new plan. When I told them we needed to redo basically everything they put me in contact with the owner, and she did such a fantastic job of bouncing ideas off of us with things we had planned and different things we could do so we wouldn't lose out on our deposit, and still have a beautiful reception. I appreciate them so much for doing all of that last minuet. In the end it was all so perfect, and they setup and took down it all so we didn't have to do the work. I HIGHLY recommend Sound Wave for whatever event you are planning, as we had the best experience with them. I also recommend getting the photobooth because those pictures are a million laughs. Last Saturday, the love of my life and I got married in front of 175 of our most favorite people (Sound Wave Music's owners Kristin & Adam included) and it was absolutely the party of the year in Boise, Idaho. Multiple guests have since told me that our wedding had, hands down, the best DJ ever. Our choice from Sound Wave was the amazing Corden - who went along beautifully with our totally non-traditional style wedding which included electronic music based on our love of house music, break beats, old school rap, trip-hop and pretty much no music you would expect to hear at a "normal" wedding. It was truly a tall order and Corden (and his assistant Jake) came through so beautifully that I was transported back to my young (missed) life in the Chicago Clubs - which is EXACTLY what I wanted. We recieved MANY compliments about the music selection and people really liked our event much better without a live band. We will be using Soundwave Music at our next event. We love this company. :)

Sound Wave is amazing! We had music, photo booth and lighting all provided by them. Everyone we worked with at Sound Wave was friendly, helpful and wonderful. We chose what pictures to use as our backgrounds for our photo booth and our guests had so much fun choosing the different backgrounds. Talon- our DJ, was great to work with from our first meeting with him to the end of the night of our wedding. He made sure everything went smoothly and that the evening was fun and moved along (no awkward standing around). He's got incredible excitement that shines through and you can tell he loves what he's doing! My father in law is still raving about how much fun and what a great party it was. I was able to feel relaxed and enjoy my wedding reception thanks to Sound Wave.

Lenny was the best DJ! After our first meeting with him I knew we had made an awesome choice. He listened to what we were looking for and was very personable. I wanted our wedding to be a party and he made that happen. We danced the whole night and had so much fun. Sound Wave really made our wedding very special! We don't think we could have pulled it off without them. They were so amazing to work with, and Carly was so good about checking in often and making sure all the little details were taken care of. The best thing about this company is their attention to detail. They do more than DJ, they really help the flow of the entire wedding and made it run very smoothly. Our DJ, Patrick, was so funny and had the guests entertained from the moment the wedding started. They also provided our uplighting and twinkle lighting, which really helped set the mood of the event, and they installed them all themselves. This company was a bit more expensive than others, but SOOO well worth it. I would recommend anyone use Sound Wave for any event ever!!

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and used Sound Wave to set up our dance floor and outdoor lighting. Originally, we were hesitant to even have them set up the lights over the lawn, because it stays so light in Boise during the summer; however, we're so glad we decided to do it! Even though the lights were only needed for an hour or so, they were still so beautiful! It made everything look very classy and just gorgeous! Carley was awesome to work with and she even rearranged the set up/delivery time on the day of the wedding because our band needed to set up after the dance floor was put down. They were easy to work with and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

You can't have an amazing wedding and reception without a great DJ!!! All I have to say is Sound Wave Music was worth every penny! From the start Kristin was basically my own personal wedding planner. Thank goodness for her helpful tips! The reception was a blast! We danced the night away with our awesome DJ Steve! Steve kept the party going and was able to find all the music that we wanted. We were a tricky wedding and needed a lot of spanish music due to our bilingual wedding. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. This company is the real deal!

Kristin was with us every step of the way, helping us with music, getting in touch with our venue and photographer, finding us a bilingual DJ... She rocks! The night of the reception both of our DJs were phenomenal. They read the crowd and kept the music going just right so the dance floor was constantly full. They made all the announcements in both Spanish and English so all our guests could understand what was going on, and they dance along with us! I can't say enough good things about Sound Wave. First of all the DJ played the wrong song as my Daughter and I were walking down the aisle. Then he tried to correct the mistake by changing the song in the middle of our walk. We stopped walking and waited for him to get his act together (he never did). He cued up another song which was also wrong and at which point we just continued to the altar. Total screw up! To make matters even worse the DJ never played a single request. Every time I or someone else requested a song I got this smiley look and a blank look with a response that he would get around to it. I finally had enough and told him that he didn't know what he was doing and should pay me for his practice time.

I had a wonderful experience with sound wave events. As a high school senior, I worked with them to DJ our small high school prom. They were wonderful in keeping me up to date on what was happening as well as making sure that the needs of our students came first. They are super easy to talk to and always responded right away to my questions. During the dance the DJs were personable without completely taking over the event (as I have seen some do). They also had a huge selection of music and seemed to gague what the crowd was feeling at any one time. I highly recommend to anyone!

My now wife and I got married on November 2nd, 2018 and it wouldn’t have been possible without Soundwave. Most people say that to describe how amazing of a job they did, but at our wedding, it literally wouldn’t have been possible without them. We had our officiant not show up due to unfortunate events, and this is where soundwave comes in to save the day. While we were in painc trying to figure out if our officiant was just running late or flat out not showing up, Talon was there to comfort my wife and keep her as calm and collected as he could. As we are pushing 4:45pm, with a 4:30pm start time, we still had no clue where our officiant was. At this point, absolutely everyone was starting to question why the wedding was being delayed and so were we. We had zero preperation for our officiant not showing up, because she did not let us know where she was, or most importantly, that she was flat out not going to show up. Talon continued to problem solve as best as he could, and this is where the biggest turning point in the wedding starts. Talon’s assistant DJ, Isa, came over after speaking with Talon and let us know he was going to be taking over as the officiant. Now, in any other circumstance I would have been freaking out, but with his confidence and eagerness to help, it put both our worries aside. To say the least, Isa and soundwave easily saved our wedding and for that we will be forever grateful. Isa lead an AMAZINGLY beautiful ceremony with only 5 mins to prepare himself. It turned out to be, by far, a perfect night and it all started there. Thank you for saving the best day of our lives, it couldn’t have been done without you guys. Now Talon, what an amazing person who brings energy, laughter, and excitement to the party! One of the many things that stood out to us, was how organized and adaptive he was in every situation. He made everything run extremely smooth on our timeline, but also turned last minute ideas into something that had seemed planned for months! He brought the party to life, and did such an amazing job hosting the entire night. When planning for our wedding we had no idea where to start when it came to DJ’s, but we had heard about soundwave. From the begging of the process with soundwave, we immediately felt a connection with EVERY person that is apart of the company! We would not have wanted a better DJ or company hosting our wedding. We don’t only recommend this company for their Dj’s, their professionalism, and the easy going process, but we gained friends and will forever hold Talon, Isa, and Soundwave close to our hearts. I originally found Sound Wave online and after looking at reviews we decided to go in for a consultation meeting. My husband and I were instantly in "Dj Love". We first met with Corden and he explained about their company and everything they had to offer. Although it was over our budget we decided to use them for our wedding. BEST DECISION EVER. The entire team at Sound Wave is amazing!!! Cydney, aka the "bride's best friend" is incredible. She helped me out with planning and responded RIGHT AWAY with any questions that I had. She truly cares about making your wedding planning and day of your wedding as stress free as possible and goes above and beyond. We were so excited when we found out that Corden was going to be our dj along with his assistant! Corden is such a talented and positive person and really cares about making your wedding day the best day ever, not only for the Bride and Groom but for the guests as well. During our wedding we had so many different guests coming up to us saying your Dj's are the coolest people ever!! Corden not only takes the time to interact with guests but also checked up on us throughout the day to make sure that we weren't stressed and enjoying our day. He got to know us and we instantly felt like he was our best friend. He even let us try out being the Dj! I truly believe that our wedding would have been so different without Sound Wave. Sound Wave Music is awesome! We had them DJ our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! We never had to worry about the music they were playing because their standard is to only play good quality music. They come in, set up, and have a very professional look, both in their set, and also in the appearance of their DJ's. For us, is was wonderful that we didn't have to worry about any of the planned events through the night. They kept an eye on our timeline and schedule, they were flexible if we wanted to adjust the time for some reason, and they were always trying to see if there was anything else, or anywhere else that they could be of service to us! On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being absolutely worthless, and 10 being out of this world good, they were seriously a 12.
