If I had to do it all over again, I'd do it exactly the same. Everything was honestly perfect. All of the vendors SMW chose for us (officiant, photographer, flowers, etc.) were the best. I was not stressed at all and felt that the SMW team was sincere and earnest any time I had a question or concern. I'm a bit of a control fanatic so it was nice to let go and allow this team to handle everything. So perfect, so many great memories - wish I could do the day again it was so lovely.

I wish I could give SMW 10+ stars. I don't even know where to start! I was stressing out pretty hard about how to carry out a Hawaiian wedding that wasn't outrageously expensive with minimum requirements forced upon you. Then my fiancé at the time actually found SMW in a random online search and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for.. their overall look and website attracted me instantly. It's so well done. Basic packages with all the add ons you could want, at an affordable rate! Never would I have imagined a wedding would be so fun and easy to plan. This company goes above and beyond in a BIG BIG way. Every single one of the gals is so incredibly thorough and gets back to you almost instantaneously every time- they are super friendly and make the process 100% stress-free. Emily's coordination was flawless and on the day of the wedding my whole family was raving about her. So down to earth and laid back, but very professional at the same time. When everyone was trickling out and my husband and I were taking our photos, my dad said Emily was going through my flower aisle very carefully hand-picking each arrangement for us to take home before she quietly exited. The photography is so well done. You won't be disappointed I assure you. Cheynice was ours and she was the kindest woman who calmly and quietly worked her magic. We are so pleased with our photos- we bought the whole gallery. If you are looking for a unique wedding perfectly tailored to you at an affordable price, with thorough, stress-fee, and friendly service... you've got to choose SMW. Simple Maui Weddings made it just that: Simple. We had the most relaxing day and prior days leading up to our wedding because we did not have to worry about any of the details - because they were all taken care of!! SMW suggestion of vendors were spot on!! My family and guests commented on what a terrific ceremony he performed and he was gracious enough to include our personal story within his speaking points. Hair/make up from Salon 253 made the gals feel like true princesses - gorgeous inside and out! Our onsite coordinator, Jen, made the wedding party and guests feel relaxed and her instructions/coordination ensured a beautiful flow of the ceremony. The photographer - Ajja - took the most beautiful photos of us and our families. We will cherish these photos - and they will be hanging in our home for a long time. We booked our wedding from overseas through Simple Maui Wedding a year in advance so we would have plenty of time to sort out all the details. The name says it all! It was so easy to plan our big day with the SMW team. We had constant and immediate communication. All of the selections/options were straight forward which we really appreciated having never been to Maui before. They gave great and honest advice to assist us in our decision making. They have a great range of options in regards to venue and styling for any budget. We had complete confidence in the team which made us feel more at ease going into the day of our wedding. We liked the phone call the week before our wedding date to go through the details of the day. This helped us to know what to expect, step by step. Our day of coordinator was changed the night before our wedding which wasn't ideal but didn't worry me too much however a little more guidance on the day in regards to placement for photos, timing, etc. would have been nice. While my bouquet was lovely, it wasn't exactly what I requested as I only wanted white with greenery (photo was sent) and there ended up being some pink in it. This may have been due to the change in coordinator. Their list of suggested vendors was extremely helpful. Even though they only do the wedding side of things, they were very helpful when it came to questions/communication with other vendors in regards to our post wedding dinner. Overall, the whole process was so easy and our day turned out so perfect.

My husband and I decided we wanted to get married in Maui 3 weeks before we left with my family on a vacation. We had been engaged for a while and after going through the stressful process of planning a larger wedding at home in 2014 that was postponed we realized that a low stress wedding with great pictures was what we were after. After searching many companies online and contacting a few we decided to use Simple Maui Wedding to coordinate our day and it was the best decision we could have made! Besides the great online reviews and prompt, friendly response to our inquiry, SMW had the best photographs of all the vendors we looked at. Emily helped keep me on track with decisions that needed to be made before the trip and always kept me in the loop with any updates. She secured the flowers, Rev, photographer and videographer for our big day and they were all so great to work with. SMW has done a great job of securing reliable, professional and personable vendors to work with for your wedding. The weather was starting to turn the night before our wedding so it was pretty windy with some spots of rain during the ceremony. Emily had umbrellas for us all to use which saved us from having to bring any in our luggage. They were so cute and ended up being great "props" as well in some of the pictures. I cannot say enough how easy Simple Maui Wedding made planning our wedding in a short time frame was and the result was perfect! If you are considering having a destination wedding I highly recommend using SMW!

Let me start my review with saying my wedding was a unique situation.. the potential hurricane Lane turned tropical storm came on my wedding night.. So Simple Maui was on top of it, very proactive with keeping the same vendors and changing the wedding as needed. We changed from a sunset to a morning wedding (10:00 am).. They offered the night before and a Sunday night but not all our guests would still be in town or were yet to be in town. All vendors stayed the same except my wedding coordinator. I was assured months and months in advance that my on site coordinator would do this and that, and blah blah. Because this was my first wedding, my first time in Maui and my first time at 5 Palms. So, everything was fine, I was fine with the change in time, fine with the wind, and the sprinkles, it was still HOT and humid. Fine. But, my coordinator was not very good. There were too many moments when we were like, what now? where do we do go? where's the bathroom, hows my hair? My dress had a mermaid look with a small train, it got wet and very heavy. And muddy.. I was having a hard time with it. Especially for photos. People were stepping all over it. And my coordinator did nothing. She couldn't help me out with some photos? she was useless. I honestly think any Joe off the street would have been just as good. Which is too bad because I was assured she would walk us through everything and it would make sense once we were there... She was nice but I don't think she had enough experience or....something?

I used this company to plan my Feb wedding elopement, with just my significant other and I. It was a breeze to select a package and choose the options I wanted. They were always very responsive to my questions via email and seemed very organized. They also helped me plan other details of my Maui vacation like rental car, wedding hair/makeup, and chauffeur. I could not ask for more. I don't have my final pictures from them yet, but my preview pics are breathtaking. Cannot wait to see the final product. I would highly recommend this company for their quality, ease of use, and attention to detail! You will not be disappointed.

Due to Hurricane Lane, our wedding and time in Maui didn't go quite to plan. A few days before our wedding date, Simply Maui contacted us to say there may have to be some changes to our wedding due to the hurricane, which is understandable. They noted that the venue, officiator, and musician would stay the same but that our time/day of wedding would have to altered: night before or morning of. We opted for morning of, when the peak of the hurricane was supposed to be later that evening. On the morning of, everyone showed up as promised but we definitely got the vibe no one really wanted to be there and were putting in just the bare minimum effort (except for our officator, he was nice). Definitely not what we envisioned and paid for. Coordinator was “there” but not really there. She facilitated the wedding, but definitely not up to the caliber we expected given the cost of the package we paid for. Photographer was nice but the entire photo session felt very rushed and unorganized, unlike what I’ve seen from other wedding photographers who are able to corral the crowd and get the kinds of photos they want to shoot. It’s unfortunate that we had such an amazing experience with a different photographer for our engagement photos and then to have Simply Maui’s photographer mandatorily added to our wedding package. I’m aware that there was a natural disaster present but to rush us through our special moment and put in minimal effort is unacceptable in my mind.

When my fiance and I decided to tie the knot in Maui, we were overwhelmed with choices. I knew I wanted to get married on the beach but other than that, I really didn’t know where to start! I had so many questions like: which beach should we get married on? What is the permit process like? How crowded will the beach be? In order to help ease some of the stress, I decided to do my research and look into different wedding packages that included a coordinator. I looked into several different companies who specialize in wedding packages but Simple Maui Wedding instantly stood out. Their web site was really the first thing that caught my attention. The wedding photography on the site is stunning and the site is overall very appealing and easy to navigate. The staff were happy to answer any questions I had before we even committed to a wedding package. Once we booked the date and selected our wedding package, I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. Our package included everything we needed for our beach wedding and we added a ukulele player from the ‘add ons’ section. One aspect of Simple Maui Wedding that I appreciated most was how quickly the staff responded to emails. I wrote Emily on several occasions asking about ideas for a reception dinner as we were on a tight budget. She emailed back with several restaurants nearby with set menus in our price range and even offered different ideas for the reception to stay within budget. Fast forward to just a few days before the wedding. Emily spoke with us about the details of our big day and answered any last minute questions we had. Once the big day finally arrived, I was able to relax and get ready to get Maui’d! I am sure that every bride can anticipate a snafu here and there on their wedding day. For instance, my groom was a little tardy to the beach so we arrived at the same time but our on-site coordinator (Jen) made sure we didn’t lay eyes on each other until we were both on the beach. The ceremony itself was perfect. Reverend Joe Miles was a great fit for us, as we are laid back and don’t like anything to be too rehearsed. After the ceremony, we took a short walk down the beach as husband and wife and then had a short dance to “Three Little Birds” (Bob Marley) played by Jimi Canha on the ukulele. We greeted our guests and had group photos followed by photos with just the two of us. Ajja was our photographer and she was simply amazing. She captured candid photos that were beautiful and allowed us to remember the emotions of that particular moment. We cannot express enough gratitude for how special Simple Maui Wedding made our wedding day. We had a vision and Simple Maui Wedding made it happen. Every detail was carefully thought out and executed flawlessly. I recommend Simple Maui Wedding to any couple looking for a stress-free, romantic, and beautiful wedding. It was worth every penny. We just got back from Maui this week and I got the preview pictures from our January 2016 wedding and WE LOVE IT!!! The ladies from SMW are beyond awesome, keeping me informed throughout the whole process before and after the wedding so I never had to worry about anything even though I'm thousands of miles away. It was so lovely to meet Jen, our on-site coordinator in person, and Ajja, our awesome photographer. We even ran into Ajja again a couple of days later in Wailea! We just adored Rev. I can't say enough about how amazing our wedding was thanks to everyone at Simple Maui Wedding. Emily worked with us to take care of all of the details. She coordinated everything from the minister down to the ukulele player and the florist for my bouquet, floral crown and our leis. Jen, the on-site coordinator, was wonderful. She held our 9-month son throughout the entire ceremony and made sure he was a happy boy. He absolutely loved her! When we arrived, Jen and Karma met us on site, directed Ray where to go, handed me my bouquet and we were off and ready to go! I cannot say enough about the Karma's amazing photography! All of the weddings on their blog looked beautiful and romantic, and that's exactly how our wedding turned out. The officiant SMW chose for us, Rev. Robert "Kuya" Alamodin, was friendly, funny, and created a beautiful atmosphere filled with love and ohana both before and during the ceremony. Our onsite coordinator, Courtney, did a great job of getting our guests, my husband, and I set up where we needed to be and keeping everything moving smoothly. I also appreciated the responsiveness and experience of the SMW team. They made sure we had everything we needed before the wedding, and Emily did a great job of walking us through what to expect and verifying little details about the wedding that I never even thought about. Simple perfection! From my first email to simple maui weddings to our final pictures at our dinner reception, Karma and her team were first class. Full of enthusiam and true professionals. All questions were answered timely and they helped us decide what beach, officiant, etc. would be best for us. The lead up to the wedding was smooth with no bumps along the way. The list of vendors they provided us were all outstanding. We used their recommended travel agent (which bent over backwards for our guests), cake vendor (best cake...not just wedding cake...but, best cake ever!! even better than sprinkles cupcakes--our favorite!), and salon (Adiel and her team at Salon 253 rocks!). Karma's work speaks for itself. Her photography is amazing. But, working with her personally was truly a dream. She is full of love and warmth and everything you want to be around you on your wedding day. Our day was simply perfect--beyond anything we could have imagined. All I can say is that Karma and her team are awesome. Book with them and you will not need to worry about anything and you can focus on what truly matters---a celebration of love and your commitment to each other.

When I was looking for elopement packages, I typed the keywords "simple" "maui" and "wedding" into Google, and it was destiny. Simple Maui Wedding was exactly what we were looking for. They organized everything for us, such as the officiant, the bouquet, and the photographer, so all we had to do was get our marriage license and show up. Plus, the photography is gorgeous. I looked at other companies that offer elopement packages on Maui, and there were none that offered photography that even compares to the quality of the Karma Hill team. We got married in Oct 2018, but started planning at least a year and a half before that. And the first thing that I did was look at a venue and coordinator that worked with the location I wanted. BAM - found Simple Maui Wedding (SMW Crew for the win)! And what's great is that SMW works with Karma Hill Photography (see my review on them too) which makes getting a complete package so easy. And that was extremely important to me being from the East Coast planning a Hawaiian wedding. Everybody from the beginning, on the fabulous wedding day, to the follow-ups were amazing. Fast, friendly, and easy communication. Great invoicing procedures that are clear, defined, and easy/secure to pay. I even had a few changes along the way which were easily accommodated. I love how the SMW website has great pictures and keeps up-to-date blogs for all their weddings. I'm a visual person and several choices I made were because I saw it on their site.
