We arranged the entire ceremony with Deanne through email and phone calls before we arrived in Maui. She was very helpful and responsive and got everything set up nicely. Our ceremony was pretty simple but it was very smooth and problem free, allowing my fiancé and I to just enjoy the experience and not worry about things. We got married at Makena Cove at sunset. It is a small beach but has amazing sunsets and beautiful lava rock that make pictures fantastic. We had Roland Nono as our minister and he was FANTASTIC. Loved how he sang at the beginning of the ceremony, the wonderful words he used and overall his friendly attitude. Patty Holbrook was our photographer and she did an excellent job getting some incredible sunset pictures and other very flattering shots. Can't say enough about the experience we had with Deanne and Precious Maui Weddings and how she made our very special day that much more special.

It's almost difficult to describe how wonderful our wedding ceremony at Po'olenalena Beach on the beautiful island of Maui on June 13, 2012 was and we owe all our thanks to Deanne. Although my husband and I did look into a few other wedding planning companies based in Maui and even spoke to a few of the owners on the phone, we knew almost right away when we discovered Precious Maui Weddings that that is who we were going to choose to plan our beach wedding on Maui. After speaking to Deanne, it was settled! :-) Deanne was always very prompt to respond to e-mails and always had suggestions and plenty of choices if we needed to make a decision about something. When you are planning a destination wedding from afar (we live in Washington state), you have to place an even greater level of faith and trust in the people you have hired to plan your wedding. We never had any doubt that Deanne would make our special day beatiful and memorable and she did not disappoint! Her level of professionalism and expertise in her field far exceeded our expectations. Our package included a bouquet, which was absolutely lovely and what I had always imagined (it was 100% orchids, all different kinds and shades of purple, my favority color). We had our reception at The Five Palms Restaurant and we wanted to have floral centerpieces on each of the tables for our guests to enjoy. We enlisted Deanne to assist us with procuring the centerpieces and once again, she far exceeded our expectations. Our centerpieces were absolutely STUNNING! She made sure to deliver them to the restaurant on her way to our ceremony. It's pretty funny when I tell people that we didn't meet our wedding planner/coordinator until 30 minutes before our ceremony (they're usually pretty surprised at that), but there was no need. Deanne took care of every single detail. Our beautiful beach wedding would not have been what it was without her. Our officiant, Roland Nono, was very personable, lighthearted, and funny. He made our ceremony very special and tailored it to us, but also kept us smiling and laughing.The guitarist was wonderful! To be honest, I had completely forgotten that our package included a guitarist until a couple of days before our ceremony and I was so thrilled that it did. :-) He made our ceremony that much more special. Everything was absolutely perfect; we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. The weather was wonderful and it was the one day of our entire 2-week trip where it wasn't windy (the Trade Winds were still going on, even though it was pretty late in the season). We had a breathtaking sunset and our photographers - Freddie and Jen of Marbelle Photography - captured it beautifully, in addition to everything else. Their photos were absolutely gorgeous and we will treasure them forever. If anyone we know now or in the future decides to do a destination wedding in Maui, we will not hesitate to recommend Precious Maui Weddings!

My husband and I wanted a small intimate wedding on Maui in December 2017. Precious Maui Weddings was my first choice when seeking a destination wedding planner from way over in seattle, WA. They not only had the best online reviews, but Deanne was a pleasure to talk to and work with! Deanne was so great. I searched around a lot for a Maui wedding package because I knew it would be difficult to set up a photographer, minister, etc on my own from the mainland. All the packages I found were so expensive for what you got, and we didn't have a large budget. But as soon as I talked to Deanne I knew she was the one (so to speak)! Even though we purchased one of her cheaper packages, she never made me feel like my event was less important than any other she was coordinating. We got married on Po'olenalena Beach in the morning, and everything was perfect. Adam was our minister and Freddie was our photographer. The photos turned out really nice, and the whole thing was affordable and completely stress free. What more could you want from a wedding coordinator?

I had a PINTREST PERFECT wedding. Her recommendations for photographers, officiant, Venues, DJs, videographers were all amazing. Her calm and lovely spirit soothed any anxious bride nerves. She was a absolute pleasure to work with and my wedding exceeded my expectations in every single way. All of my guests (50 total) raved on and on about how beautiful and special my wedding was. We had a welcome party, which she gave great catering and rental suggestions as well as a Luau show the day after the wedding. She was fabulous. We spent the last year planning everything and Deanne was with us every step of the way. From the moment we selected our Gardenia package, everything went off without a hitch. Every detail planned to a tee, and confirmed via email and phone. I could feel the stress and concern melt away, through each step of the process, as Deanne always kept me informed. Periodically, I would have a detail I'd want adjusted, or a service I would like added, or a question I would have....and she was right there to help make our day perfect! Planning a destination wedding can be a stressful experience, having not met anyone who used the services you were seeking out, the location, or the photographer, can leave many unanswered questions. Deanne helps you feel at ease and ready to enjoy your special day. Like another reviewer said, be prepared that public beaches can be BUSY, but the photographers are masterful (Deanne organized Marbelle Photo and Video for us, and Freddy was AMAZING!!!) in positioning your shots to ensure the people are out of the way, and even do editing to get folks out of the shots as well! You have to also be prepared for the weather, as Maui can be WINDY in the evenings (calm in the morning) and there are often clouds or rain. It always seems that the sun comes out for a beautiful sunset, which does make for great pictures! Deanne's services were top notch for the price we paid, and I would recommend anyone to take a chance with her and her team!

Married: 7th Nov 14 Kapalua Bay, Maui When we decided to get married in Hawaii in less than 9 weeks, my bridesmaid did an amazing job locating a few wedding planners on the web. Precious Maui Wedding was the first webpage I look into and after looking at a few others, I knew Precious Maui Wedding was the one to go with. Contacting Deanne was the best ever decision I've ever made. She was easy going, very easy to deal with and she answered every questions and concerns I have. Within a week, Deanne has guided us through all the necessary procedures and we are all set for the wedding. Deanne continuously keep in contact with us as we get closer to the day and any final details like the bouquet, hair, makeup were all organised before we depart for the wedding. Upon our arrival, Deanne ensures the final details were looked after. All we have to do is just look forward to the day. Everything was smooth sailing on the day and planned well. From hair to makeup, our limo pickup and ceremony, everything was handled so well. The whole team who assisted us on the day (makeup and hairstylist, limo, minister, photographer, coordinator) was accommodating, friendly and very helpful. The ceremony conducted by minister Adam Gomes was beautiful and our guests were so impressed and think this is definitely one of the best wedding they have ever attended. Deanne was amazing!!! She made sure everything went exactly as we wanted it! It ended up being pretty rainy on the day of our wedding. We had planned to have it on the beach but with the rain that wasn't going to work out too well. The morning of Deanne called and let me know she got us a covered spot at the beautiful Gannon's patio over looking the ocean. It was so beautiful and she got us in for no additional charge! Deanne is a superstar. We visited Maui the year before to scout locations the year before and she was one of the preferred wedding planners for the venue that we selected. Planning a wedding remotely can be challenging, whether it's selecting items for the ceremony, music, various venue rules, and a variety of other things, but Deanne was able to step in and cut to the chase to get all of these things done for us. The flowers that she recommended were FANTASTIC! Better in person that what we saw in the photos. All the other pieces, the leis, music, the photographer, and minister all came together to give us the destination wedding that we dreamed about. We had our 5 year renewal on September 20, 2019 in the Wailea area of Maui. Although we had a few hiccups with travel from the east coast, Deanne helped us everyday leading up to this day. Deanne did not miss a beat, she took all of our wishes and demonstrated impeccable services. Deanne facilitated everything, all we had to do was show up and enjoy our moment. We had our ceremony and reception at Gannon's. Deanne introduced us to Susan, who assisted us with food, drinks, layout for the day! Deanne chose Charles to officiate out renewal, as he was truly a breath of fresh air and went above and beyond. Because of him, our vow exchange was compassionate and romantic! Charles will forever be near and dear to our hearts. Deanne also chose Cesar to capture our most precious moments. He did a wonderful job and executed our beach photos to perfection. We are going through them now, and we LOVE every one of them! Deanne asked early on for our vision for the florals. I sent photos and recieved flowers that words cannot explain. They were BEAUTIFUL my bridal bouquet, haku lei, boutonniere, petal path, table toppers, and guest leis went above and beyond of what we asked for. I LOVED them! We also had a Hawaiian guitarist that played music the entire night! We were sk happy to have her there! I recommend Precious Maui Weddings for all destination weddings. Deanne made my destination beach wedding a dream come true! She handled each question and email with patience and grace. Not one thing went wrong--it was like clockwork! When we arrived on the beach, she had everything set up perfectly, and just as we had discussed via email from Oregon. I can't believe she had everything perfect and ready to go, just as promised and as I envisioned! From the flowers to the cake to the stylist she arranged to come to my room, to the toast on the beach, everything was perfect. I have no complaints, only praise for Precious Maui Weddings! I can't imagine an easier, more perfect way to get married. Price was super competitive--when I booked, she was comparable or less expensive than similar agencies, with more to offer. A friend was looking to rent a small "banquet" room at a local Oregon restaurant-inn to hold her wedding--just the room! I got a fabulous all-inclusive beach wedding package from Precious Maui Weddings for just a few hundred dollars more! Photography, cake, conch shell-blowing minister, stylist- all included! To top it off, Deanne was gracious and kind. Choose Precious Maui Weddings-you won't regret it.

The whole experience of planning our small intimate wedding, to the execution was perfect. Deanne answered all of my questions, and made all of the arrangements to a tee, including the limo, bouquet (GORGEOUS!! And exactly like the picture I sent), music was beautiful, as was the beach (Makena Cove)- small and intimate. The minister, Cleighton, calmed our nerves with jokes and had beautiful words and ceremony. Jennifer Ruby, photographer gave us the most amazing photographs I'd always dreamed of, and our wedding video was amazing- they went above the call, as we needed the raw footage in order to be ready for our reception back home the following weekend. The hairdresser came to the hotel, and it was perfect, and she was prepared for my changing of mind about flowers. :) I could not have asked for a more perfect day, it was truly the dream wedding, and Deanne arranged it all- is all we had to do was be there, and meet the limo! Deanne was recommended to me by a friend who used her 8 or so years ago for her wedding, and clearly the service has only improved! Deanne knows her stuff and has a great personality for dealing with brides at all stages (anxious or not) :)

I found Precious Maui Weddings online. We were attracted to their business because the website was very professional and easy to navigate. We loved that they where registered with the Better Business Bureau. The prices were more reasonable than any of the other sites I had come across. I called Deanne and left a message and got a very expedient response. She was sweet and reassuring (I was a little stressed about the daunting task of planning a wedding, especially in a place I was totally unfamiliar with). I was instantly at ease. Over the next year she was an absolute pleasure to work with and was very helpful with all of my concerns and requests. The actual wedding day was beyond perfect. We simply showed up and everything was taken care of. Deanne had arranged for the beach permit and licensing appointment ahead of time so that seamless for us. It really made it all SO easy. The vendors she hired were perfect. Juniper Ruby - Photographer -had a full arsenal of poses for us and was a joy to work with. Adam Gomes - Minister - was very sweet, funny and charismatic. We all really loved the beautiful ceremony he provided us with. I don't know the name of the vendor that supplied our flower arrangements but they were also very lovely. We will gush about Precious Maui Weddings every chance we get and recommend their services to anybody that will listen. We are eternally grateful for Deanne and Precious Maui Weddings for making such and monumental day for us so wonderful and memorable.

Gregory and Priscilla October 17, 2018 We'd like to thank Deanne of Precious Maui Weddings and her awesome team for putting together a wedding more beautiful than we imagined. We're typically laid back people but even still, planning a wedding is going to be stressful. However, this was not the case with the help of Deanne and her crew. She was always prompt in her response and went out of her to make personal connections with the both of us. All we wanted were a few email exchanges, but Deanne felt it important to work out certain details over the phone and she was right. We booked about a year in advance with Deanne for whom we chose because she had outstanding reviews and the most affordable wedding packages in Maui that we could find. She gave us the option to customize packages and even suggested cheaper options to alleviate unnecessary items in our wedding packages that we weren't sure if we would need. She is a busy woman, but for very good reason and made sure all the details of our wedding were handled in a timely manner. On our wedding day, we had the lightest rain, it was great, but Deanne was worried that we might not be fond of having a wedding in the rain so offered to try and get the location moved to a drier site. It was just comforting for us to know that they were willing to go to great lengths to make this day as special for us as possible. As for her team, our minister Adam was so easy going making us feel relaxed and even cracking jokes appropriately to create that iconic care-free, Hawaiian atmosphere while still maintaining his composure and offering his touching words. Frederick & Jennifer of Marbelle were on the video and camera shots and when we say they did amazing, we mean it! They worked with us like we'd been friends for years and getting in shots without us realizing, so smooth and professional these two were the perfect dynamic duo; and the photos were stunning! And thanks to Paul for the tunes and Merriman's for hosting the event. The wedding was on Merriman's lawn, on a cliff overlooking the ocean. We had 30 guests who fit comfortably on the lawn and didn't even realize that business was as usual inside the restaurant though there were a few spectators, but we didn't mind. The beach is just a short stroll across the lawn where we had our last photo shots against a sun-setting backdrop. We concluded the evening with a reception in Merriman's cabana area which could accommodate more than the 32 of us that it did, and the basic setup was elegant enough that we didn't need to spend tons of money on extra décor. All in all, Deanne delivered more than we could have asked for. Thank you so much for the perfect day Deanne!

When the rain came she was there with several umbrellas to cover the photo equipment as well as the bride and groom.The minister, Adam Conrad, said that he would only run to get out on the rain if we ran first. 6/13/2018 I started planning my destination wedding as soon as I got engaged on 10/27/2016. Since I live in Washington, I was skeptical hiring someone I had never met to assist me with my dream wedding. However, Deanne worked with me over the phone and through email for over a year to pull everything together and she was amazing! My wedding was small and was very casual but she still treated me like I was a priority client. I was also worried about my hair and makeup as I have had issues in the past with hair/makeup people not providing the look I was envisioning, but Cindy was so great my hair and makeup looked better than I ever could have expected. We had our own minister, but the photographer was also very efficient and sent us some perfect shots (I would share them here but I still need to finalize my selections). The flowers I added to my package were perfect too. One thing you should know if planning a destination wedding at a public beach - you cannot predict weather or control the people on the beach! I know first hand regarding the weather as there was thunder and lighting during our ceremony. At first I wished for sunny weather, but it all worked out as it cleared the beach, cooled me down, and made for some great photos! Sometimes you just have to "go with the flow" and that's exactly what we did. Our wedding on May 29th, 2018 was better than we could have imagined! Thank you Deanne and team.

Deanne was fantastic however I would suggest maybe hiring your own photographer. The photographer that was chosen for us wasn't great. Our pictures were just ok..... and we were told we would see proofs in 3-4 weeks and it took more than 6 weeks, we just received our photos today and they were completely destroyed. There was no cardboard added to the envelope to protect the 8x10's and barely any stuffing to keep the 4x6's from getting all beat up. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken at my destroyed wedding pictures. Deanne again was wonderful to work with but the photographer that was chosen for us not so much and now I have NO photos of my wedding day.
