We had Platinum Weddings do the event planning for our wedding back in October and I was completely satisfied with the entire process and I truly loved everything about my wedding. I also had multiple guests tell me it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Amber quickly responded to my many emails and many questions, came up with creative ideas and gave her honest input when needed, helped me with all the small details and finishing touches, managed all of my vendors, managed the entire day of the wedding and SO much more! The list goes on and on! She and Dani even came to the rescue when my bustle came undone mid wedding! They made destination wedding planning seamless and stress free. After arriving on Maui we had the marriage license appointment to do and that was literally it, everything was already planned and taken care of! I recommend them wholeheartedly and wish I could go back and relive the wedding just one more time! Thanks Amber and Platinum! -W&C

Dani at Platinum weddings is amazing! We planned a destination elopement and she made everything go smoothly and stress free so we could concentrate on each other and our dream trip to Maui. Amber is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! If you are planning any type of destination event in Maui, she is the girl you want planning it! Amber went above and beyond for our wedding at The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, and our day was nothing short of perfect! Not only did she make it stress free (which is hard to do planning a wedding in Maui when we are all the way in Colorado), but she made it so much fun too! I would pick Amber and Platimum Weddings & Events a million times over again! Through this process, I feel like we made not only a friend, but someone we will continue to share our big life moments with. Platinum Wedding and Events made planning our small beach wedding from Maine so easy! From my first email to the Big Day Amber and Taryn were attentive to all our needs! It truly felt like I had a friend planning our wedding! On our wedding day we had to make a last minute decision due to rain showers and Amber was amazing, staying with us for our photo shoot to hold umbrellas for us and the photographers! Platinum Weddings saved my wedding.. My husband and I got married at the Sheraton Hotel in Kaanapali and it was the most magical day and far exceeded my expectations. It went off without a hitch and my coordinator, Danielle, is to thank for this. We were off to a very rough start when planning our wedding with the Sheraton for many reasons. Once we reached out to Taryn she assured us that Platinum Weddings would take very good care of us. She put every worry and concern to rest and set us up with our coordinator Danielle. At this point we had booked half of our vendors ourselves, but Danielle recommended the rest of the vendors who were amazing! She made the whole process stress-free for us, especially the day of. I felt completely relaxed the day-of, knowing that she had everything taken care of. If I could go back and change anything about my wedding it would have been hiring Platinum Weddings from the beginning to handle my wedding. From the moment my (now) husband and I met Taryn, we immediately “clicked” and knew that working with her to plan our wedding was meant to be. Saying that Taryn and her team were absolutely amazing in planning and executing our wedding doesn’t even begin to do it justice. As soon as I stepped on the Olowalu Plantation House property and saw all of our wedding finally put together, my jaw dropped and the tears immediately started falling. It was all that I could ever dream of and more, a true fairy tale wedding. It has been almost 3 months since our wedding, and our guests are still talking about it. We have heard so many positive comments from not only our guests, but also our family and friends who were not able to attend our wedding. We’ve been told that “it was the best wedding they have ever been to”, “it was like something out of a movie”, “magical”, “a fairy tale wedding”, and “a privilege to have been invited to”. Our wedding was the best day of our lives. We wish we could live it over and over again. Throughout the planning process, Taryn worked very closely with us to make sure that all of the details, large and small, that were important to us were captured. She was very honest about the costs of different vendors, decorations, flower arrangements, etc throughout the process. She listened to what meant the most to us and helped us to make vendor decisions based on that. In the beginning, Taryn took diligent and comprehensive notes on what our wedding vision was and worked to make our vision come true from there. As we live in the greater Boston Area, you can imagine that the phone calls back and forth with a 6 hour time difference, and not being able to have any taste testings or seeing anything in person were nerve racking – but that was not the case with Taryn. Everything that we went through was described in perfect detail and we fully trusted her judgement. As we progressed through the planning process and started making final decisions, she was honest with her opinion on different things based on her experience. We took her advice on all of it, and are so happy that we did because it was all perfect! Not only did Taryn work with my husband and I together on our wedding, but also worked separately with my mom and husband with planning individual surprises. My mom discretely worked with Taryn to plan extra surprises for my husband and I, and my husband worked privately with Taryn to plan to surprise me with a special serenade on the piano (which couldn’t have been easy to find in Maui). Taryn was able to fulfill his request to bring in a baby grand piano so that he could surprise me with playing a special song while one of our amazing entertainers sang along. She was able to pull off both surprises successfully! Taryn and her team have high expectations of their vendors and work with only the best. All of the vendors that Taryn helped us choose, were incredible! They managed to successfully meet all of our requests and expectations. I would recommend all of the vendors that we used without hesitation. On the day of the wedding, everything was executed flawlessly. One of Taryn’s team members was 3 days away from her due date and she was still running around making sure that everything was perfect! The dedication, vision, and heart that they all put into our wedding was very evident. Any request we had, even last minute, they were able to pull off. There were times that our 4 year old flower girl didn’t want to take photos, and they were even able to get her to *happily* cooperate with us, which can sometimes be very difficult to do! My husband and I could go on and on raving about how spectacular Taryn and her team are. We want to sincerely thank Taryn for making the vision of our perfect wedding day come true. We highly recommend choosing Platinum Weddings & Events for your perfect day!

I cannot day enough positive things about our experience with Platinum Weddings and Events! My wedding was a complete dream, and the preparations leading up to the event were made fun because of Amber’s constant help and diligence. I could never imagine doing all of the planning myself, and would recommend Platinum Weddings to anyone who is even thinking of planning a wedding in Maui! Not only was the experience more organized because of Amber and Taryn, but it was more fun! My fiancé and I were impressed by the seamless transitions and organization on our big day! They made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I never once felt confused, frantic, or overwhelmed.
