The Maui's Angels ladies did a fantastic job with coordinating and planning my husband and my wedding event in Maui. We were married in July 2016 in Maui, but started the planning process a year earlier. Throughout the year, the team made sure that we were on track with the event timeline, answering questions and concerns in a timely manner over phone and email, and connecting us with the suggested/chosen vendors for separate conversations. The real fun truly began when we arrived in Maui after a year's worth of remote-planning from our home cities New York and San Francisco. We received a welcome text and confirmations for the in-person venue inspection and rehearsal with the wedding party the day after we arrived in Maui. Lorrie, the founder of MA, ensured that I was comfortable and happy with the chosen venue. I was in good hands with our wedding planners despite a last minute planner transition a few weeks prior to the event. Our wedding day went off without a hitch - my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing except making sure that our guests and we all had a good time! The wedding was perfect and exactly what we envisioned. If we could get married all over again, we'd choose Maui's Angels. These ladies are organized and competent professionals, and you can truly tell how much they love what they do. Special kudos to Stephanie and Amber for taking such good care of us on our wedding day!

Lorrie and her team at Maui’s Angels were my guardian angels during my entire wedding planning process. From selecting a venue to a huge hug after the ceremony, these ladies exceeded my expectations! There are so many great features about working with Maui’s Angels, but one that made things that much easier on planning a destination wedding is their list of experienced and proven vendors. This simply remove the guess work, they know exactly what you’re getting and ensure you understand. Every single vendor was booked through their team; hair, make-up, band, minister, photographer, florals, cupcakes, catering, venue, rentals, etc. They couldn’t have made the process easier for me. All I had to do was relay my selections to them and they handled the rest. I didn’t even need to worry about different payments or who needed to be paid when. Maui’s Angels team handles this part as well and lets you know when payments are due. Danielle the Design and Décor Specialist was a joy to work with! Her enthusiasm exuded through the phone and she was excited to come up with a design around my theme. She was at the wedding venue early and ensured everything looked amazing and as we had discussed. Marnie was our wonderful side kick throughout the wedding, not once was she not at my side when I needed something, already anticipating what she could do to help. Getting all the family pictures can be tiring and a bit stressful but Marnie was there holding drinks for us with straws to sip on between takes and not interfere with my make-up. Having them there let me relax and enjoy the day while they took care of everything! Lorrie is a true professional and loves what she does. I don’t remember seeing her during the wedding without a smile on her face. Her positivity shines through as she keeps a calm and cool demeanor to help you keep your nerves in check through the day of. During the planning process, Lorrie graciously handled all of my silly questions with professionalism and politeness. She truly know the ins/outs of a wedding on Maui and can help guide you into the wedding of your dreams. Our amazing day would not have been possible without this group of wonderful women. They truly have a passion for what they do and it shines through in every wedding they create.

Without Ali, our wedding ceremony would’ve taken place in a muddy field. It’s a long story, but it’s the truth. Thanks to her going above and beyond our expectations, we had the wedding of our dreams, for which we will be forever grateful. Placing our trust in Ali was the single best decision we made in planning our wedding. From the start, Ali was responsive, professional and a total pleasure to work with. She is an expert in all things wedding which makes her advice impeccable. For us, her excellent communication skills turned what was quickly becoming a stressful experience into an easy and joyful process. She’s also an excellent communicator and any questions we had were always answered in detail within hours. Her day of event coordination was phenomenal. Not only did she take care of the two of us, she made certain every detail went perfectly. Looking back on it, there isn’t a single element we feel she didn’t absolutely nail. She even entertained the kids while the adults ate. She walked the line perfectly of being there the exact moment you needed her, but disappearing to allow for that intimate wedding we wanted. Without Ali, my husband and I would still be happily married, but the day wouldn’t have been half as magical. She crafts wonderful events, and we would most definitely recommend her to anyone getting married on Maui.

Sigh...out of all our vendors I would have to say that Maui's Angels were the ones that far exceeded all expectations. They took care of our busy ring bearer so his parents could have a break, they nailed every detail of the décor, they made a minute to minute schedule for the day of the wedding (which perfectly aligned with my obsession to details), they made our entire day feel like a dream thanks to their organization and willingness to step in and handle everything. If I could give 100 stars, I would! Our wedding was absolute perfection and it's all because of Ali at Maui's Angels. We originally had planned on having a wedding in October 2018 with 50 guests and had started the whole process with Ali. She helped us find and secure all the vendors we wanted and helped give us options to stay within budget. Then come August 2017 we decided to move to New York and move up our wedding to October 2017! First we were going to elope just the two of us, but then decided a few days later to have a wedding with just our immediate family. Without hesitation Ali was able to secure almost all of the same vendors on short notice AND our venue! To say she is a miracle worker is an understatement! Flash forward to our wedding day, we finally got to see what she had been working on for us and she killed it! She went above and beyond our wildest dreams and took our small budget and made it seem like we had a HUGE budget. All of the little details just made every element of the wedding stunning! Our family kept coming up to us and telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and it was all because of Ali. I wish I could build a time machine so that I could do it all over again and the first thing I would do again is call Ali to get her help! Maui's Angels planned and organized our wedding a month ago. WOW! We were blown away. They planned a 3 day wedding for us which included a welcome dinner, a snorkeling excursion, as well as the wedding and after party. We couldn't have asked for a nicer wedding. They exceeded our expectations. Lorrie and her team made sure everything ran smoothly. All my friends had asked me if I was stressed before the wedding. My answer was always "No, because I have an awesome wedding planner". Everything was organized and planned to the second. Lorrie's team is professional but fun and amazing at the same time. Maui’s Angels helped my wife and I (if I’m being honest, mostly my wife) plan a 32-person wedding in April of this year. I was initially against using a wedding planner – despite the fact that we are located 2,500 miles away in California and I had only visited Maui on two prior occasions. I’m writing this review so you future grooms out there don’t make the mistake I almost made. From the wedding planning, to the rehearsal, to the wedding day, Ali and Bre thought of everything and truly made our day magical. Having Maui’s Angel’s assisting us leading up to the wedding enabled my wife and I to get information on a variety of vendors as opposed to flying blind. Ali was able to provide first-hand recommendations for a floral designer, calligrapher, and musician that all far exceeded my expectations. Our venue had very specific rules as to “approved” vendors and Ali was able to provide guidance as to how to best handle that while still getting to have everything my wife and I wanted at the venue. We were also able to ship items such as welcome bags (which Ali and Bre assembled), our guest book, and other miscellaneous items to Maui’s Angels in advance our wedding knowing they would be safe leading up to the wedding day. Moving on to the wedding day, we showed up at the venue and I was blown away at how perfectly everything was put together. Ali coordinated with at least eight vendors to put together the most beautiful table setting that was exactly what my wife was looking for. Ali was a pro getting the guests situated and making sure everyone was taken care of in advance of the ceremony. During the ceremony she timed everything perfectly and even got the ring bearer and flower girl to make it down the aisle without distraction. After saying our vows my wife and I went to take some pictures on the rocks down by the ocean. Bre helped my wife with her dress and with her hair during all the pictures – and was jumping from rock to rock in heels like a pro – which was far more than anyone could have asked for. Long story short, Ali and Bre were absolutely amazing and I don’t know how we could have done it without their help.

Lorrie, Ali, Marni and the rest of the Maui's Angels team are the absolute best in the business HANDS DOWN!! My husband and I are based in LA and got married in Maui last month. Working with the Maui's Angels team to make our dream wedding a reality was the best decision we made for our big day. We had a pretty clear creative vision, some unconventional requests, a crazy work schedule and a relatively strict budget. Ali and Lorrie were able to work with all of these challenges with ease and grace. Throughout the planning process, we must have emailed them 20 times a day with questions and concerns. Not only was every email responded to quickly and thoroughly, but it was clear that Ali and Lorrie really "got us" and were willing to do everything possible to make this the best day of our lives. We felt more at ease and less stressed after every phone call with them and never doubted that they had our best interests in mind. And that didn't stop after the planning process was done. It poured rain most of our wedding day at Olowalu Plantation House, and the Maui's Angels team brought their world class A-game to keep us and our guests happy, comfortable and as dry as possible. In lesser hands, it would have been the most stressful experience, but with their expert coordination, a minor inconvenience became a beautiful, memorable backdrop. We will always remember dancing in the rain with our guests that day and it made for the most gorgeous photos! Our wedding was like a fairytale; the best day of our lives, and that is thanks in large part to the Maui's Angels team. All of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended - and we agree! My husband and I cannot recommend the Maui's Angels team more highly. Whether you have a precise vision of what you want or have no clue where to begin, they are the team that can make anything happen for you. We will book with them again for our 5 or 10-year vow renewal ceremony, without a doubt. We love you Ali, Lorrie and Marni! We look forward to visiting you and the islands very soon!

It has been two months since our wedding and our guests (and even ourselves) cannot stop raving about the perfection that was our wedding - and we couldn't have done it without the help of Ali from Maui's Angels. Planning a wedding 4000 miles away from home was a daring feat - and I'm glad I found Maui's Angels to help me along the way. The moment we met Ali I knew she would make my dream wedding come true. She got our vision to a T - and she helped us pick out the most amazing vendors. She was always available for input, accommodated to our needs and most importantly, respected our budget. We cannot say enough about how amazing Maui's Angels were in playing the role of our destination wedding planners. As we live in Melbourne, Australia, you could only imagine the stress that was involved when trying to decide on who we would entrust to help us organize one of the most important and special days of our lives. Lorrie and her team did an amazing job planning, creating and orchestrating what would be one of the greatest days of my life. I had the ambitious idea to plan my wedding from California. The planning process was going well until I started to look at private estates that require the use of a wedding planner. My husband and I had rare pleasure of meeting Lorrie & was able to tour a site with her. After a couple of meetings we knew we had to hire Maui’s Angels. She understood our vision and really paid attention to all our wants & needs and paired us with some incredible vendors. She had no problem working with vendors I’ve already procured since she’s worked with them in the past. Jes, Event Designer, was great and easy to work with. During our conversations, I appreciated that she questioned some of my ideas and I valued her opinions and recommendations. I trusted her designs & she was able make my vision a reality. During the planning process, Lorrie responded to e-mails promptly and was typically available for conference calls within a 48-hour notice. There was one issue involving the venue we initially secured, but she already had a couple of alternate locations in mind when she called me with the news. The new venue was actually better than our first venue. During the day of the wedding, I couldn’t believe her timeline never veered off schedule. Neither Lorrie or her assistant, Jordan, pushed us along to make us stay on schedule… it organically happened & everything ran smoothly. There was one issue that occurred during the reception that Lorrie & Jordan handled professional and discreetly. I had no idea what happened until the next day. Hiring Maui’s Angels was a great choice & investment. I trusted Lorrie and her team & they were able to create something that was beyond my expectations and within budget. I had guests visiting Maui for the first time & they were truly impressed with what they saw. To this day they are still talking about our wedding. I would highly recommend Maui’s Angels to anyone I know who is getting married or thinking about getting married in Maui.

We were extremely lucky to get to work with Ali from Maui's Angels to plan our wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House this past May. We really did our research when choosing our wedding planner and we could not have been happier with our choice! We live in NJ so we knew we had to work with a wedding planner who could accommodate the time difference and us not being able to do the bulk of planning in person. Ali was the wedding planner of our dreams! She is incredibly talented, organized, professional, and just a sweetheart! She went above and beyond to make sure all of our wedding day dreams came true. She helped us personalize our wedding and incorporate all of the design elements we wanted into one cohesive beautiful design (which is not an easy task). She is truly one of the best in the business and you can rest assured every detail will be taken care of when working with her. She thought of details and pointed things out that we would have never considered and that you won't find in a wedding planning book/blog. The day of coordination went so smoothly that my husband and I did not have to worry or stress about anything the entire day. We were able to fully enjoy ourselves and focus on being present and with our guests knowing Ali and her team had everything taken care of -- this was probably what we are most thankful for. I could go on and on writing but it's safe to say we highly recommend working with Maui's Angels to plan your special day. Lorrie, Nicole, Marni and the rest of the team from Maui's Angels were fabulous for our May 2016 wedding in Maui. I really wanted a wedding planner given the distance and timezone differences from our east coast Canada location and found Maui's Angels through online reviews. Lorrie's team quarterbacked our destination wedding and was instrumental in keeping me stress-free in the months leading up to the big day (I think planning a local wedding would have been much more stressful!). In terms of process, we were given a rough estimate of the budget at the beginning and then several choices in terms of vendors for each category (venue, photographer, officiant, hair/make-up, musician, etc.) at various times leading up to the big day. The team adjusted decor, flower arrangements and vendors to our mostly budget-motivated constraints and were flexible for last minute changes. We visited the venue together a couple of days before the ceremony to get an idea how things were going to roll out and Marni was there on the big day to make sure that things were going to plan. They collected and set up the wedding favours we brought from Canada, delivered a hand-held steamer and coordinated my schedule throughout. I do think that you need to be willing to trust your wedding planner and be good with selecting vendors sight unseen for destination weddings. Maui's Angels was that wedding planner for me and we were very happy with all the recommendations that they made.

Amazing. Lorrie and her team were absolutely amazing in planning and executing my wedding at the Sugarman Estate in Maui. I highly recommend Maui's Angels if you are looking for coordination services. Lorrie and her team did full coordination for my event since I was in California during the planning process. With regards to the planning, Lorrie made sure to really hear what we wanted and made them priorities. She used my pinterest pages to help see our vision and did a great job translating them into real life. For the days leading up to the wedding she was seriously super amazing juggling all of the last minute changes and details (while being very pregnant-- such a superstar!) I felt incredibly comfortable knowing that she was handling everything. I literally could text her a quick note and she would assure me it would get done. She was incredibly accessible and responsive. On the day of the wedding, she and her team were so great, accommodating and efficient. I didn't hear of any problems or issues--even if there may have been some, I didn't know about it. They were able to handle the day perfectly. They didn't want us to worry or do any work, they just wanted us sit back and enjoy everything. I could see that Lorrie had a great relationship with the other vendors that she was working with. Everyone was very happy to see each other and seemed to love working together and that made me even more calm and happy on the day of the wedding. They are a wonderful company and Lorrie is great person so I highly recommend their services.

Lorrie and her team exceeded all expectations I had for a wedding planner. The moment I spoke with her over the phone, I felt an instant connection as if we’d been friends for years. That level of care and friendship only grew throughout the planning process. I want to do it all over again! I always felt as if I was Lorrie’s number one priority. She promptly answered all of my emails, phone calls, and even texts the weeks leading up to the wedding. Words alone cannot express my gratitude in working with these ladies!! Ali Thorstad was my main go-to girl to guide me in every step of the way! As organized as she can be, she was able to help me match the perfect vendors for me and able to leave me stress-free before, throughout, and after the wedding. The stress-free factor was the most important to me and Ali was able to achieve that. For example, during the wedding, Ali constantly reassured me that everything will be ok and beautiful. Danielle was very organized and detail oriented with the floral and decor! We stayed in touch throughout the year before the wedding day, on the wedding day and even after! It was a pleasure to meet and work with these ladies and are such sweethearts! Andrea and Shouren got married on Jan 6, 2019 at the beautiful Maukalani Estate in Lahaina. Maui Angels were recommended to us by our friends who were very happy with their services last fall. Ali Thorstad took up the challenge of organizing and managing our event that included a Vedic-Hindu Wedding ceremony, a first for the Wedding Planners. We live in Canada, thousands of miles away from the venue, hence we did not know what to expect. Everything from the selection of the Hindu Priest, to the set-up of the venue including the Canopy (mandap), selection of the special wedding garlands and other flower arrangements, was superbly done. The appetizers, meals and the dessert selections were greatly appreciated by all our guests. DJ ‘s contributions, the transportation arrangements and the spectacular venue added to our enjoyment. With the perfect Weather, it turned out to be a magical day that all of us will remember for a very long time. Thanks to Ali, and her Maui Angels team and her Venders- we Highly Recommend!

I can't speak highly enough of Lorrie and her team. She made sure everything came together even better than we imagined. She presented us with and helped us select the best vendors while still sticking to our budget. She was available anytime for questions and always responded promptly. She made us feel so comfortable with the whole process. The day of the wedding could not have gone smoother. Everyone always tells you that one thing or a couple things will go wrong on your wedding day and I can honestly say that was not the case with ours thanks to Lorrie. Everything was absolutely perfect and I was able to relax and enjoy the process of getting ready and be fully present during the first look, ceremony and all the festivities that followed. I can't say enough about how awesome Ali and the rest of the team at Maui's Angels are. Having a destination wedding and not being physically there to see the progress and meet all the vendors is a bit stressful when you are use to planning and organizing everything yourself. All we had to do was send Ali our ideas and visions and she made sure they came together. It was stress free and we got to show up as guests to our wedding. We would not change a thing about our wedding. From U'Ilani to Kaua and Cake Fanatics everything was truly perfect and I could not have asked for a more perfect special day. Thank you Ali for all your help and recommendations. I highly recommend Maui's Angels for your special day. :)

Really I am not sure how I can put in words how amazingly wonderful this group is, but I will try. I wish I could give more stars, but it will only allow me 5. It was August 2014 when I made the call to Maui's Angels. After being engaged for over a year and not wanting to start planing for fear of the process I decided to finally look up wedding planners. My intelligent future husband has seen me for months stress over every detail of our wedding that we had not even started and said I needed a planner. On that day Nicole picked up the phone. I told her about my ideas and the small nature of my wedding and she was more than over joyed to help me. I could tell you that in that moment over the phone I knew I would love Nicole, but to know I would have a lifetime friend is amazing. I think one of the amazing things to note is my budget was to stay at below a certain number and that did not make me less of a priority than her clients with higher budgets. Our wedding was something that fairy tales are written about. Every single detail I requested was met. I even added a bridesmaid 2 weeks before the wedding and Nicoles exact words were "of course we can do this"! We just got back our entire wedding photos and video and I was crying! They are so beautiful and I love them so very much!! We are so blessed and grateful for the amazing team that is Maui's Angels! Nicole and I are going to friends for a lifetime and I know that! WE love you so much Maui's Angels and if you are planning a wedding in Maui you need to use Nicole and the rest of the amazing ladies at Maui's Angels.

Lorrie and her team are a pleasure to work with! Our wedding would not have been even close to the same without them. I could come to them with anything I needed. My main reason for going with a wedding planner was for the wedding day. I didn't have to do a single thing and it made the day so much more enjoyable, like it should be. Maui’s Angels are Heaven sent (sorry, couldn’t resist). My wife and I are from Northern California and decided to have a destination wedding in Maui. We don’t have friends or family that are local to the Maui area so we scoured Google, Yelp, The Knot, Wedding Wire, individual wedding planner websites, as well as several bridal magazines in search of a wedding planner. We wound up speaking with several wedding planners, but in the end there was only one choice for us – Maui’s Angels. The whole team at Maui’s Angels was wonderful to work with. They were all very sweet, always calm and eager to assist in any way that they could, patient, great communicators, and accommodating; they made the process as easy as it could be. Lorrie Betsill Nielsen was amazing throughout the entire process. She is one of the nicest people out there and her love of, and passion for, planning weddings is evidenced through the genuine enthusiasm and happiness that she exuded whenever we spoke with her, whether it was in-person, phone, or e-mail. To quote my wife, “Lorrie is someone who we would actually hang out with in real life…” In addition to her sparkling personality, she KNOWS how to plan and deliver an amazing wedding. What our guests keep telling us (not to mention our wedding wait staff , bar tender, and caterer) that our wedding was the best wedding that they had ever been to – that had a lot to do with Lorrie’s, and her team, effort to make our day nothing short of excellent. She has an amazing aesthetic, great sense of matching style for the type of wedding you want, and seems to know and have a great working relationship with all of the major wedding vendors in Maui. Wedding planning can be stressful and tense, as any bride (and involved husband) knows. Lorrie was always upbeat, calm, and able to solve any problems that arose. For example, our booked wedding venue was involved in a land dispute with the State of Hawaii, and there was an injunction preventing weddings to be performed on the site. Lorrie calmly called us and explained the situation. Initially, we panicked, however Lorrie, with her cool and calm demeanor put our anxieties aside when she let us know that she was able to get us the venue that had been our first choice (but which we were unable to book initially because the venue has a monthly event cap that had already been met) by working her magic. We were pleased with all of the vendors they suggested, and the vendors we chose through Maui’s Angels exceeded our expectations. We wound up having 30 guests more than we had originally planned for, and once again Lorrie cheerfully told us, “the more, the better,” and took care of it seamlessly. We had also rented a car that was to be delivered by the vendor, who was located on the other side of the island. I received a call from the vendor a few days before our big day and was informed he could not deliver the car in the morning as promised, but instead in the afternoon. I called Maui’s Angels and informed them of the issue, and again I was cheerfully and calmly told, “we’ll handle it and get back to you.” They ended up handling it by personally going to the vendor to pick up the car, and delivering it to me. They bend over backwards to make things perfect on your wedding day. One of our worries throughout the wedding planning process was that our Flower Girl, our 5-year-old niece who is really shy, would get stage fright and not be able to perform – she refused to perform at our rehearsal. Maui’s Angel, Jordan, promised everything would be okay, and that she would take care of it. Good luck, we thought. Jordan was able to coax our niece into doing a great job, which we were very happy about. After our wedding was done, Lorrie contacted us to see how we were doing; how sweet is that? She really cares about her clients and is very personable. She helped make planning easy, and made our day amazing and unforgettable.

Maui's Angels made my wedding planning a complete breeze! I mostly dealt with Nicole, and she was AWESOME. I live in Shreveport, LA, and I had never been to Maui before, so it was definitely a leap of faith. Nicole gave me her honest opinions about which vendors to use, which restaurant to go to, etc. We had such a perfect, seamless wedding, and I give her full credit! She was such a pleasure to work with. Very sweet, professional, and reliable. I'm so thankful for the Maui's Angels team!

We always knew we wanted to get "Maui'd," but with the number of family/friends coming (over a 100), we would have to be smart, flexible and prudent with how we handled our budget and still got the “dream” day. I spoke with different planners during my researching stage, and knew from the outstanding reviews and photos of their work online that my heart belonged to Maui’s Angels, but I needed to make sure I was making the right decision so I “shopped around.” But in the end, I went with Lorrie and her team of professionals because they were everything we were looking for. We worked with Nicole throughout the whole 18 month process and she was my angel! She was quick/responsive, was professional, detail-oriented, organized, trustworthy, made me feel listened to, and that our needs were met, and just made the whole usual stress of planning one of the biggest events of your life doable. I felt comfortable going to her with my questions, and she was always ready with suggestions. They love to do what they do and that spirit of Aloha comes out through the care they take with you and in the end, the planning process is fun instead of a big old ball of craziness (well, you will still have some craziness, but that’s self-imposed and has nothing to do with Maui’s Angels, haha), and the outcome, the wedding day is actually more than you could even imagine. The team pulled it off for us, a wedding within our conservative budget with that really unique and pretty bespoke edge that the DIY girl in me is just salivating for, and made it just so personal and lovely. They took my ideas and blew them up to scale and made it even better than I could have imagined. In the end, we were happy with the process, and our guests all hands down said, “that was the best wedding” that they have ever been to. The view at the Olowalu certainly didn’t hurt, but all together with the high quality vendors they put together and the way everything was executed, made it definitely the “best day ever.”

Lorrie and Ali from Maui's Angels made our wedding absolutely incredible and seriously the Best Day Ever!! Planning a destination wedding can be tricky but over the years (yes it took years) of planning the team at Maui's Angels coordinated everything to run smoothly. Being from Vancouver and my husband from New Zealand, Hawaii was the perfect spot to tie the knot! Their inside knowledge of the best vendors on the island really helped make our decision making easy. As outstanding wedding planners, we knew they would put forth amazing vendors and those that fit our style and budget. The communication between them and us was so easy and natural, whether it was emails, phone calls or skyping they were always available to chat. They took my ideas and design priorities and really executed them on the day. We worked together to create a beautiful setting for our wedding. They listened to our needs and concerns and worked with us to find a common, happy outcome. Leading up to the big day they made us feel at ease and calm. Everyone kept telling me I was such a calm bride and I honestly think it's because these lovely ladies had taken care of everything. On the wedding day, I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and dedication. They were there early setting up and making sure everything was in place and continued to stay and monitor our wedding throughout the night. Lorrie and Ali didn't just feel like wedding planners they felt like friends- genuinely caring about us and our guests. Maui's Angels are true experts in the wedding field. I would highly recommend getting married in Hawaii and most definitely recommend this powerhouse team to anyone!

We really enjoyed working with Ali, Bre and Lori! For 10 months, we worked with Ali for our wedding at Merriman's. From California, we interacted with Ali via emails, phone calls, video calls. We appreciate the following about Ali: - Experienced: She has planned countless weddings and therefore knows what does and does not work. She gave us great recommendations on things like who to have emcee, favors, where to have our hula show, etc. - Positive: Interacting with someone who is positive makes all the difference to get through the challenge of planning a wedding (remotely!) while life and work charge on. Ali always was optimistic when handling our various questions and requests. - Patient: Ali was very patient with us as we took time to decide on various vendors and other decision points. We never felt pressured or rushed when making the hundreds of decisions that go into the planning process. - Flexible: As my wife and I both work in the tech industry, we had our preferred way of tracking things in spreadsheets and documents. Ali accommodated these preferences graciously. Beyond the planning phase, these characteristics were also on full display during the execution (i.e. week-of and day-of) phase. For example, there were a few surprises that our family members planned at the last minute in coordination with Ali, unbeknownst to us. She handled these extra touchpoints expertly! She also ensured the timeline was adhered to and took great care of us. Overall, she truly brought to life what we had discussed during the planning phase. Maui's Angels is a top notch company - expert in both the creative and operational aspects of a wedding. We'd highly recommend working with them to plan and execute your dream wedding.

We love these girls! Before I dive into all the things Lorrie and her amazing team did for us, let me just say we can't express thoroughly enough how much we treasured and appreciated all their hard work. Ok, if you are getting married on Maui, you HAVE TO use Maui's Angels. You'll be making a huge mistake if you don't. From the first moment we were in contact with Maui's Angels they were in total sync with us and our planning process. Lorrie was the first to chat with us, and she did so during an incredibly busy time of year! She made me feel at ease and comfortable planning a destination wedding. Together, we looked around to all different venues and landed on one in Lahaina. We loved it! With "check in" emails, and introductions to the rest of the Maui's Angels team, we were now working with Nicole on our vendors. Usually, this can be a long, stressful process meeting with different vendors for the bride and groom to weed out alone to see if they're a good fit. But Nicole gave us a few of their favorite and most professional vendors to choose from and helped us by answering all sorts of questions. We chose our vendors, and they were absolutely amazing! She's amazing! After we worked with Jes on decor. Jes sat down with us via phone conversation for over 2 hours and sorted through my Pinterest account and was totally in sync with my vision. Jes has such an eye for decor and is so fun to work with! Over the last few months before our wedding we were met with friendly emails and phone calls. Any "bump" we ran into during the process, Lorrie was already LEAPS ahead of fixing the issue, and had it locked down before we had even realized something happened. The professionalism and preparation of Maui's Angels is a true testament of what they represent as a team. Each time we spoke, the voices on the other end of the phone were upbeat, ready to take on ANY task, and were just as excited for our wedding as we were. Lorrie and her girls have such a well run company, I was so amazed at how incredible their team was that I wanted to work for them! LOL! The day before the wedding, Lorrie came down to the condos the wedding party was staying at and ran through last minute details for the wedding. I mean, what?! Lorrie, you are a superstar! No, better...you are seriously an "Angel!" I felt totally taken care of and loved every minute of our wedding and the process. We could keep going on and on, but at the end of the day, throughout all our decisions in this process, this was THE best one we made.

I should have done this review a long time ago. Lorrie and her team were amazing from the very first phone call to the last day of the wedding. When choosing to do a destination wedding there are a lot of moving parts that need to happen. Lorrie and her team of Angels exceeded every expectation my wife and I ever could have dreamed of. The process was literally flawless on their behalf. Our wedding happened without a hitch and it was not an easy one for Lorrie. What I didn’t mention is that it was a double wedding. Two separate couples having two separate marriage times with a joint reception. Maui Angels Weddings pulled it off perfectly. There was not one missed detail. They had a tough task of pleasing two brides and they made it happen. I can not thank them enough. If you are looking for a destination wedding planner, look no further! Simply amazing! Lorrie and her team are truly angels from Maui!! Our wedding turned out to be more than what we have imagined. Since we were working on a limited budget they gave us great tips and suggestions on how to make things work. I first have to admit that I dreaded the thought of planning a wedding. Not only that but planning it from so far away (I live in Florida, wedding was on Maui). I forget how I found Maui's Angels, but I am SO happy I did. They seemed to be one of the only companies that cared more about what I wanted and less about charging me more so they could take a percentage. When I first started planning my budget was low and later expanded, MA was the only company that seemed to care to work within my original low budget. Nicole was my planner and she was amazing! Brides can be needy people and she ALWAYS answered my emails within 24hours. Even when she went out of town she would let me know weeks in advance. She was on top of everything and more importantly such a joy to chat and work with. I never thought I would say this, but honestly, I will miss our daily emails about wedding planning and LIFE! When the events came around she was there through every step of the way. ALL day putting the event together, and then ALL night making sure it ran smoothly and I had everything I needed. Not only was she amazing, but her whole team was. Marney & Amber helped do "Day of" coordinating and they were equally as awesome. Bottom line, I couldn't have done this without Nicole and the amazing hands-on team at Maui's Angels. Thank you for making what seemed like a wedding planning nightmare, turn in to a total dream. I love you Nicole... and thank you for making all my crazy dreams come true :)
