We were married by Deanna at a private home in Kamuela, and she was an absolutely wonderful celebrant. We could not have asked for more. She was incredibly helpful in the lead up to the wedding, guiding us through the ins and outs of what needed doing, whilst providing numerous rewrites of the ceremony as we worked out what we wanted. She was tremendously supportive, and this was a great help to us. As visitors to Hawaii from Australia, having that kind of guidance was fantastic. Lastly, the ceremony itself was wonderful. We thought Deanna was a brilliant celebrant, and so did our families and guests. Highly recommended.

We were wowed by Deanna's professionalism and feel incredibly lucky to have found her as our officiant. We felt intimidated to coordinate event details (let alone a wedding) across timezones and countries but Deanna put all that worry to rest. From our first consultation, Deanna acted as our guide to the island she loves so much. She recommended the best event locations, places for family to stay and sight see (she did this even after our ceremony in a follow up email - super nice touch). Her communication has awesome: clear, prompt emails and reminders to keep our date on track along with progress updates for things she had to coordinate on the island to reserve the best time + location. The ceremony is where Deanna really shined; her delivery was heartfelt, audible and simply perfect. She even took the time to make us the most beautiful leis, something we were not expecting. More than a review, we really wanted to say thank you for everything Deanna. So grateful our paths crossed and can't wait for you to repeat this experience for the many couples after us.

Deanna was absolutely amazing! The wedding ceremony was so intimate and beautiful with her flowers and hand-made leis and flower crown. She was quick to respond in her emails and answered all of the questions we had prior to the ceremony. Deanna made the ceremony memorable and the marriage license/certification process super easy and simple. Our photographer Gerald, was also amazing. He made us feel comfortable and took many great pictures. I would definitely recommend Deanna as your officiant or for your vow renewals!

Lori and I spent 10 wonderful days in Kona, where I am originally from, and Lori's first time visiting Hawaii. We had an idea to elope but didn't have any plans ahead of time. Since this was a ceremony for the two of us, we didn't want to spend a lot. The first quote was more than we wanted to spend and their website didn't provide details for what you would receive so we kept searching and came upon Deanna's site. It listed many detailed options so we called and left a message and also sent an email. Boy, talk about fantastic communication. She called back a few hours later and provided additional information via email the same day. Deanna's very accommodating and provided options for the ceremony and whether we wanted any special additions. Deanna recommended a few beach locations and we settled on a small, very secluded beach. It was a public beach but we had it all to ourselves. She performed a beautiful ceremony, one we will both cherish for our lifetime. To anyone that is interested in having their wedding ceremony on the Big Island, definitely contact Deanna, she won’t disappoint. She exceeded our expectations. My partner and I were married by Deanna back in January 2019. Deanna was an absolutely wonderful person to work with, she guided us several months before our wedding and was very warm and excited for us during our talk on the phone. Deanna is very professional, she filed all the proper permits for our beach wedding, had all of the leis, documents and other items for our ceremony, and even recommended me the beach that we eventually got married on. I knew we were in good hands when we met with our marriage license officer to obtain our documents the night before the wedding and she remarked "Oh, you have Deanna as your officiant? She's great, she took care of all the hard work for you already!" Deanna made our wedding perfect with absolutely no problems, and I would recommend her services to anyone looking to get married in Kona. 5 stars all the way!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with a traditional Hawaiian ceremony by Deanna. She offers several wedding options and our selection of Hawaiian was so unique and fitting for for our beach wedding at Waialea - great location. Deanna was very responsive and so helpful in making all arrangements toassure the ceremony would be exactly what we wanted, as well as the details to make our wedding special. Our ceremony was partially in Hawaiian and English and I think no matter how many guests you have in attendance, everyone would enjoy experiencing the ancient traditions such as sand blending and our ring blessing. We wanted to do something special for our 10th wedding anniversary and always dreamed of visiting Hawaii. We found Deanna’s “Adventure Weddings” online and decided to go for a waterfall wedding! Thanks to Deanna, we had the experience of a lifetime!!!! Our ceremony exceeded our expectations. Deanna took us to a private location and led us down a private trail to a waterfall where we renewed our wedding vows! Our ceremony was so beautiful both because we were able to recite our original vows but also because we were completely alone on the rocks in front of a rushing waterfall! This was the one of the most incredible experiences of our lives! Our wedding renewal ceremony was amazing and we are so grateful to Deanna for making this experience possible for us! We renewed our wedding vows with Deanna and couldn't be happier. We had an intimate Hawaiian ceremony on a private beach in Kona. Never having been to the Big Island, we originially wanted to have our ceremony at Magic Sands, but Deanna recommended Kukio Beach and we are so glad she did now that we have been to both beaches. Our ceremony was so special and made us feel like there was no one else in the world but us. We highly recommend Deanna to anyone who is looking for an officiant on the Big Island.

Deanna helped us plan our last minute ceremony. We called her that morning and were married by that same evening. The semi private beach she found us was beautiful.
