A job well done! This was a renewal for us (10 year) but just as precious because we never had a "real" wedding. Everything was perfect. The Hawaiian ceremony was exactly what I wanted. The beach was beautiful and my pictures I will cherish forever. I was really touched by the ukulele player's rendition of "Thinking Out Loud." Perfect, perfect, perfect - professional and kind as well. Thanks for everything.

Ann and I had a wedding vow renewal ceremony in Maui on Makena Beach. This ceremony was a total surprise for Ann. We even purchased Hawaiian wedding bands. The service was done with the words in Hawaiian then translated into English. Thr chant done by Kevin was great. We had family and friends with us to celebrate this moment in time. Part of the ceremony was also a tribute to Bobby. Ann and I threw flower petals into the ocean. We know he was there with us. A great day. I would very highly recommend Hawaiian Weddings on Makena Beach. I know they have other locations but this was here I would go.

Hawaii Wedding was excellent! As probably most couples getting married on one of the islands, we were from out of town wanting to exchange our vows in Maui - whether on the beach or at another venue. Hawaii Wedding was very accommodating and super helpful! I literally didn't have to do a thing! They scheduled the meeting with the marriage license person, offered assistance with location, style, even scheduling hair and make-up locally for me! They did a great job making sure that we have everything taken care of and eliminating any stress associated with such important occasion, usually stressful for the bride and groom. Our minister was wonderful, did exactly what we wanted, thank you Brian for the beautiful ceremony! The day before our wedding date, it was all day downpour! Kristina called me to make sure I am not freaking out and assured me that even if it rains on our day, they can move our location from the beach to a covered area, which was comforting! Luckily the sun came out the next day and we had a beautiful ceremony! Thank you Hawaii Wedding for making our special day romantic and so memorable!

We decided to get married two weeks before going to Maui. Not knowing exactly how to do that we called Kristin at Hawaii Wedding and Vow Renewal. With one phone call everything was scheduled and taken care of. Getting the marriage license was quick and easy. We wanted a sunset wedding and Kevin took us to the most amazing little spot at the end of Maluaka Beach. We couldn’t have picked a better place if we had tried. It was absolutely beautiful. He timed it just right for a nice short ceremony and awesome sunset photos. We are very happy with everything. It was completely seamless and low key which is what we wanted. These guys are great!

Was thoroughly surprised by our 25th Wedding Renewal officiated by Kevin on July 9th . It was more than I could have imagined. Not only was Kevin very attentive to our wishes, he was also so accommodating to the large number of wedding guests ( 38 of our close friends and family from Washington State) but also being mindful of the perfect place to perform the ceremony with some shade for my mother who was having a hard time with the heat. The ukulele player was awesome and actually made me cry playing my favorite Hawaiian songs. We had a Hawaiian ceremony which was so beautiful. The wedding pictures were professional quality and taken by Kevin. Again he was accommodating in taking pictures of the individual families present, as well as of us. My wife and I renewed our vows on 6/23/16 and couldn't be happier. It was our 25th anniversary and my wife said the 15-30 minute ceremony was better than our original wedding! We met Kevin at Po'olenalena beach in the Kihei/Wailea area. After arriving we followed Kevin over a mildly rocky path to a more secluded section of beach, we had the most perfect setting for our Hawaiian ceremony. Hawaii Wedding did a wonderful job pulling together our 20th Anniversary Vow Renewal. Eric and Sara were punctual. My flowers were beautiful. The location for the ceremony was lovely and the sunset was spectacular. I unexpectedly cried during my service conducted by Eric. The photographer, Sara, took some gorgeous pictures of us as well. The price was reasonable. I looked at a number of companies and locations before deciding to go with Hawaii Wedding. They did not disappoint! I was so pleased with everything. My husband and I were married on the mainland at the county court house. We have pictures at the court house but not worthy of be on the mantel... My husband and i LOVE maui and we have very FOND memories of Maui! So on a last minute decision ( 2 weeks to be exact) my husband and i decided to renew our vows on Maui.... I didn't want to spend a lot of money & do not not know different locations... So i called Hawaii Wedding & Vow Renewal... I called them up, they sent me a contract, they picked out a location Makena - Sugar Beach .... Even the time at 11am was perfect it wasn't too hot and it was at a public beach so no one was out there except us... We wrote our own vows(because we are not religious) and invited a few close friends.... Because my husband wasn't able to walk very far, they arranged for a accessible location on the beach.... The day before we had some unexpected guest that wanted to attend. so i called them the night before and they arranged for extra leis for my guests... This company went ABOVE & BEYOND to accommodate our last minute request of extra leis..... It was PICTURE PERFECT for Ed and I to renew our vows in Maui on October 1, 2019... Now we have a PICTURE perfect photo for our mantel and this year's xmas card.... Thank you Kevin and team at Hawaiian Weddings you guys are AWESOME!!!!

Everyone I have coordinated with at Hawaii Wedding has been helpful each and every time. We choose the Deluxe Wailea Beach Package and it was perfect for our elopement. I was enticed by the lovely wording of the vows in their spiritual nonreligious ceremony followed by the prospect of professional pampering beforehand. The staff at the Grand Wailea Salon were sweet and great at their arts. My husband wanted to go with Hawaii Wedding for the quality of their pictures compared to other such vendors. The only hard part has been waiting for the pictures! They really took the stress of planning a wedding - especially from so far away - completely out of the picture. We wanted something that felt intimate and genuine with no pomp and circumstance and our May wedding was all of that . . . but so much better than we'd imagined!

12/25/18. I am writing an addendum to my previous review to address the owner. I did not need you to advise me of any other flights. I have been traveling to Hawaii for 20 years. I booked a specific flight, with a specific airline, at a specific time for a reason. That was the flight I wanted and it suited my finances at the time. Of course I could have rebooked on another airline...at times I didn't want and at a cost I didn't want. What a stupid thing to say. This has nothing to do with getting my way, it has to do with accommodating someone within a short timeframe for something beyond their control. You chose not to and that's your right. But don't be so childish as to try to belittle someone for being upset that their dream vow renewal was cancelled for reasons beyond their control and you are the only business who chose to refuse a refund! Very disappointing encounter with Hawaii Weddings. I booked with them for a vow renewal in May 2019 just over 2 weeks ago. On Thursday this past week I found out that Hawaiian Airlines changed the flights we were scheduled to take by over 3 hours, making the trip impossible. This was obviously a factor beyond my control. I was refunded by the airline and the hotel, but Hawaii Weddings still charged their "nonrefundable" fee of $150. Being a business owner myself, I understand why nonrefundable fees are used. They cover the business when people randomly change their mind. However, given the fact this was something beyond my control, and booked only 2 weeks prior, it would have been the right thing to do to refund the entire fee, as I would have done if it were my customer. Obviously be careful when you are depending on an airline to get you to Maui for the wedding, since you never know when things will change, and Hawaii Weddings won't make any accommodations for unforeseen circumstances.

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about this company. Kevin did a beautiful job with our ceremony. Sara took so many beautiful pictures that we couldn't narrow it down. The ceremony would not have been the same without music . We are so happy we chose to add on the ukulele music to the ceremony. Brian video taped the ceremony and the video came out beautifully. We renewed our vows in what was definitely a non-traditional ceremony. We had our two young kids with us and they were excited to say the least. Everyone took turns checking in on and incorporating the kids so everyone could have a great night. Perhaps best of all is the value. Hawaii can be expensive but the value you get with your package can't be beat. I highly recommend Hawaii Wedding and Vow Renewal for your perfect ceremony in paradise.

My wife and I had a great time at our wedding renewal held at Sugar Beach Cove. Kristina did an incredible job with answering all of my questions and making me feel comfortable about the ceremony. Her response time to any of my inquiries was within 24 hours and typically same day. Kristina did a great job leading the ceremony and the addition of the ukulele musician was something that I was glad I added. If I had any suggestions, it would be that the ceremony would have been planned a little later (maybe 30 minutes later) so that it would have been closer the sunset. However, that is only a very small suggestion. Overall, I was very pleased with the process and would certainly recommend this group to anybody looking to celebrate their special occasion.

Where do I begin? From the moment my husband and I decided to renew our vows in Maui, everything flowed smoothly! I googled wedding services in Maui and randomly chose Hawaii Wedding to contact and gather information about weddings. We knew what we wanted but didn't know how to bring our ideas to life. As soon as I reached out to Hawaii wedding and vow renewal, Kevin walked me through everything and made us feel at ease knowing that he and his team would handle it all! What a magical day it was! The location was perfect! We chose the Hawaiian and Christian ceremony which turned out lovely!!!! I just want to thank Kevin, our photographer and our violinist for EVERYTHING! You all made our day possible and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We came back to South Carolina feeling like we had just experienced the dream of a lifetime! Was very disappointed in our ceremony espescially the money that we spent. My wife and I was told that it was easy going which wasn’t the case. Thought that the beach would be quartered off for our ceremony so that we wouldn’t have any interrupted people in our pictures, which it wasn’t. Thought that we would have had a designated spot for our ceremony. Instead they found a piece of sand and said will do it right here. When I had asked to do a walk through they said it would cost an extra 200 bucks. Which is preposterous!!! Thought that they would have like a circle of flowers for our ceremony for this beautiful event which didn’t happen. When talking with these people about the ceremony it was very vague. Pictures from the photographer were ok but thought they could have been better. Would not recommend. Beautiful place to get married but not worth the price of the packages.
