Our September wedding was PERFECT and we owe it all to these two ladies, Nicole and Erika of Best Day Ever!! My bridesmaids and I met with Nicole first when we were looking for prospective wedding planners. Nicole is all business and is very organized with her handouts and spreadsheets. My type-A personality LOVED that! A few months before the wedding, Erika entered the picture to handle all of the day-off details. Erika is also very detail-oriented and handled all of my vendors with the expertise of a professional juggler. You can tell this wasn't her first rodeo because she knew exactly what to add, subtract, and substitute. She saved me soooo much money and who doesn't love that? The two days prior to our wedding, it rained like no other. Erika kept us calm and collected and assured us that everything would be ok. And it was. There is nothing about our wedding that we would change. We love these girls so much and would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a wedding planner. They put out so many fires for us and made our wedding as stress-free as possible!

My destination wedding’s a year away and I don’t even know where to start! Eek! I live in Ireland and i’m getting married in Hawaii. We absolutely HAVE to get a wedding planner. Booking someone over the internet who you’ve never met before to plan THE biggest day of your life is a daunting task. I started googling and after only 2 or 3 minutes came across Best Day Ever. i loved the look of their website, the packages they offer and they genuinely sounded like they LOVE what they do. i read a few testimonials and got in touch with my then fiance to tell him I really feel like this is the company we should go with to plan our wedding. I sent an email practically begging for help and I heard back within 24 hours to say “of course we’ll help!” Happy days! From the word go I was instantly reassured and de-stressed. 1 phone call with Alyssa had me convinced we were doing the right thing by booking best day ever! they were extremely professional regarding contracts and finding out what we wanted for our dream wedding. During the year, Alyssa was extremely prompt and organised about getting in touch at the right time about all the important information. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted! It was perfect! We met Nicole and Erika on the day itself and they couldn’t have been nicer! They genuinely seemed excited for us to be getting married. it’s not just a job for them. They knew exactly what was needed of them of the day and they delivered perfectly. All of our guests said it was one of the nicest wedding’s they’d ever been to. All the vendors that were suggested were perfect. From our officiant, Kahu Bruce, to our photographer, Nick Pugay and our hair/make-up artist, Faith & Beauty. I would recommend anyone getting married on Oahu to use Best Day Ever. You will truly have the BEST DAY EVER!! Thank you again Nicole, Erika and Alyssa! You made our wedding dreams come true!

When planning a wedding things can be exciting yet stressful. My husband and I have always dreamed of going to Hawaii. We both had never visited any of the islands, but decided to have a destination wedding so far away from home where the sky is blue, the ocean is gorgeous and the people are so welcoming. We are so happy and grateful that we chose Best Day Ever wedding planners. The experience was amazing right from the start. Alyssa was our main contact through the whole process and really helped us throughout the planning. She started by giving us 3 top beach choices based upon a questioner. We decided on Waimanlo Beach Park which is absolutely stunning. The next decision to make was, who do we choose for a minister? We decided on Kahu Bruce with a non-denominational ceremony. Honestly what an amazing person. My husband and I could not even begin to tell you how wonderful he was. Kahu met with us a few days before and really got to know us and what was important for our ceremony. Our photographer was Crystal Channel who couldn’t have done a better job. So impressed with her skills. Our wedding day couldn’t have went any better. Erika and Nicole did a wonderful job at the ceremony. These two are amazing. They both made sure everything went perfectly. Honestly we wouldn’t have known what we would have done without them. Alyssa helped us also making some of our decisions and just keeping us on track. She was one of the reasons this whole experience was not stressful at all. Our family still talks about how everything went so smoothly and couldn’t believe we did all the planning on line with these guys. My husband and I are so blessed with found such awesome wedding planners. We as a couple could not be any happier!!!

Nicole and Erika from Best Day Ever were such a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend Best Day Ever. They did an amazing job making our wedding arrangements and we never felt an ounce of stress over any planning details. I never thought it would be so easy getting to the alter, especially for a destination wedding! Even though we live in Wisconsin, Nicole and Erika were good at communicating via email and phone when necessary and we felt very comfortable letting them handle the details. All of the vendors that they use are top notch and we had an equally amazing experience with them as well. We would definitely recommend Best Day to friends and family. This review is long overdue but I had to make sure I eventually wrote one because they were AMAZING. My husband and I got married back home in Hawaii last May and we had to make most of our plans on the mainland. Needless to say we were stressed about this, however Nicole and Erika had everything figured out to the second (literally). On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about anything. They had everyone in place and had thought of everything so I didn't have to. They even memorized my guests' names so that they could say hi to everyone and make them feel welcome. They did so much work behind the scenes and made the job look so easy. To this day we still talk about how good they were and how we wish they could plan our day to day lives :P. We've gotten multiple compliments from friends and family about how organized and stress-free our wedding was and I know it was due to their awesome planning. Nicole and Erika- thank you!!!

Best Day Ever Wedding Planning has been a pleasure to work with! My husband and I knew we wanted a simple yet intimate wedding, after researching a few places, we found BDE on yelp. We contacted them, met with Nicole and Brittney to get to know them. From that moment, we knew they were the ones who could make our wedding ceremony a day to remember! From the beginning to the end, the BDE team really took care of us. Their attention in details and recommendations went beyond our expectations. Trust in them, they will make your special day a lot less stressful. On our wedding day, everything from start to finish was beautifully orchestrated as planned. Simple beach destination wedding with people coming from all over calls for cranking up the stress. I only had 30 guests and wanted a simple event, but this team (Alyssa, Erika and Nicole) took it to a whole other level. I had expectations and they shattered them and basically delivered perfection. Perfect setting, I provided a photo to build my bouquet off of and nailed it, I wanted a caring and casual officiant, call up Kahu Bruce and you get a perfect fit. Pick a song that is not commonly known and wow, here comes Henry who learns the perfect song for a January Wedding (Avett Brother reference). Want a few photos to document the special day and they find the perfect fit in Shannon; so easy going yet gets right to business and captures the moment that you want to remember every day. Let this team manage your event and stress and just enjoy. THANK YOU is not enough and if I could fill out a thousand reviews they would all have five stars for a five star job.

Working with Best Day Ever was the reason we had the wedding of our dreams. My wife and I were nervous about planning a wedding in Hawaii remotely from Canada, but Nicole and Erika took care of everything! We talked about our vision for the day and, at each step in the process, we were given their recommendations. If we had preferences besides what they had suggested they were more than open to that. If we had concerns with their suggestions, they were open to that discussion as well. But as it turns out, all of their suggestions were spot on! From the location and the florals to the officiant and music...everything was perfect! We were on vacation in Hawaii for 2 weeks and our wedding day was the LEAST stressful day of our holiday - I think that says it all. If you're looking to plan a destination wedding in Hawaii, look no further than Best Day Ever.

Plan a destination wedding is stressful and scary, but luckily we had the help from Nicole and Erika!! The moment when I saw the bohemian wedding package from BDE's website, I knew this is the one. Nicole and Erika were so good at what they do, all we had to do is to pick what we like, and they just magically made it happen!! It was awesome!! They worked with all vendors to get the best deal for us, and they were really looking out for our best interests!! At the day of wedding, everything was beautifully decorated and it's like out of a movie scene. Our sweet musician Kiana Luna and our awesome photographer Frank Amodo were also out of the worldly good at what they do!! After we got back to mainland, Nicole even surprised us with a well thought-out edited video of our wedding ceremony and reception. It still brings tear to our eyes when we watch the video. My husband and I can not thank Nicole and Erika enough for making our wedding day so special!! If you are looking for a wedding planner, definitely go for BDE!!

My husband and I had recently gotten married in July and we both can honestly say that without Nicole and Erika, our dream wedding wouldn’t have been possible without them. When we were in the process of looking for a wedding planner for our dream destination wedding in Hawaii, we did what most couples would do which was to look up good ratings for people who would help make our special day magical. We decided to go with Nicole and Erika based on their glowing reviews and couldn’t have picked a better group of ladies to work with. It took about a year to plan with email exchanges in between and a couple of over the phone conferences. They made it as stress free as possible by doing research and picking their top choices for us to choose from based on our budget. They also made our Pinterest ideas come to life and were very knowledgeable about which vendors to go with. We ended up getting married at the Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu and also had the reception there which was outside on the lawn, under clear tents, overlooking the clear waters. We also had entertainment there as well such as fire dancers, hula girls, and a live band. I smile every time I think back on that day and it was truly the best day ever! We now have an excuse to go back to Hawaii to celebrate our many anniversaries. If you’re debating on who to go with for your destination wedding, stop looking now and just go with Nicole and Erika. They are very sweet, amazing at what they do, and I promise you that you won’t regret it.

My new husband I had a destination wedding and it would have been a mess had it not been for Nicole and Erika. We visited the island a few times prior to the event and, each time, they had lined up meetings with vendors to maximize our time. Every vendor that we met with was wonderful (like the best dj EVER, DJ Kevo). As the day approached, I would start to feel a bit panicky....all I needed to do was talk with one of them and the weight was lifted. I cannot stress that point enough. I realized that they had it all under control. I really appreciate that they had suggestions when I was without an idea and helped me to make decisions when I asked. They provided support to every one of my family and bridal party members with help that they needed. What I realized is that, unless you have done this a few times before, you have no idea about all of the small decisions and planning that goes into even a small event. On the day of the wedding, all my fiancé and I had to do was enjoy. Everything was taken care of, and I mean everything!! It was truly beautiful and we wouldn't have changed a thing. The details that they added made it so much more special. They stayed until every last person (including us) had gone home. And their help didn't stop there. Nicole and Erika were absolute god sends! Throughout the planning process, they were reliable, reachable, detailed and extremely supportive of our vision- all very important factors when planning a destination wedding in Hawaii remote from California! All the vendors Nicole and Erika recommended and sourced were top notch professionals – whom all did a fantastic job; and we were actually pleasantly surprised by the vendors’ affordability and their willingness to work within our budget! The day of the ceremony was perfect and went exactly according to plan; Nicole and Erika shared a very detailed and to the second itinerary which was a great way to keep the entire wedding party organized and aware of the order of events! The day after the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests about how immaculate the schedule and flow of events went and of course how beautiful and fun the entire day turned out! My hope was for a beautiful, stress free wedding day. My family planned this vacation having never been to Hawaii. I had no idea where to begin in terms of vendors, locations, restaurants, licenses...To have the advice on every need from a local resident was priceless. I scoured reviews of several different companies and chose Best Day Ever from all the positively raving comments I came across. They provided everything I needed, communicated constantly and were always helpful and friendly. All my questions were answered, all my needs were met. My expectations of the stress free process and a beautiful, unforgettable wedding were beyond expectations. Everyone had warned me to be prepared for inevitable problems due to every wedding seemingly having some. We didn't have one single problem AT ALL. I really appreciate all Best Day Ever wedding planners did. The vendors they got to work with me were phenomenal. Our photographer was amazing (one of many comments we received..."Those have to be the most beautiful wedding pictures I've ever seen."). Our officiant was perfect, and our vidoegraphers were unbelievable. The company that did hair and makeup made me feel relaxed and beautiful. It was the best of ways to start the day. All thanks to Best Day Ever. They found and meticulously arranged my wedding and kept in touch consistently. I thank them tremendously. Nicole and Erika had a tricky task when taking us on as clients. We were a local and destination wedding all in one. I have a big family in Colorado, and my fiance has a big family on Oahu. In a perfect world I would've been able to plan our wedding myself, but planning a wedding mid-school year from across the ocean was not an option. They were able to do the research for us and all we had to do was make choices. They were flexible with our busy schedules (both of us are teachers) and managed to create a day that fit our needs well. With a tight budget and a huge guest list, they were able to turn our hopes into a reality. We were able to stay in budget, and they made the planning and implementation process so much easier for us. I am so thankful we chose them. We did the all inclusive planning package, and if you can make it work in your budget, I would highly recommend that, especially if you are not in Hawaii to do the research yourself. The few months I tried to plan by myself became way too much. Their knowledge of what is available and pricing with vendors made it all so much easier. Hunting can be exhausting, so really consider Best Day Ever Hawaii, for your wedding planning needs. We had a lot of laughs, so much fun, and wouldn't change a thing. Nicole and Erika were great wedding planners. I had them for the full coordination package and worked mostly with Nicole for the first few months. After a few phone calls, looking at my pinterest board, and discussing our budget, she got a feel of what my husband and I wanted and was able to give us 2-3 options for every vendor. This took a few months, since we had to do tastings and trials, but we were super happy with all our vendors. They all matched the style that we were looking for and she even knew who I'd end up picking. She was very conscious of what we budgeted and never showed me a vendor out of our price range. I think that maintaing a budget is one of the most important qualities in any wedding planner. Erika was also a godsend. I dealt mostly with her the last two months leading up to the wedding. She put together awesome layouts of our reception that we chose from and was super accommodating to my changes. Most importantly she made the days before my wedding as stress-free as she could. Since I live in California, I had a whole list of things that I needed to do when I got to Oahu and she took that all off my plate (which was the best wedding present I could have asked for). Nicole and the rest of BDE also took care of all my DIY projects which saved me, my mom, and my mother-in-law from tying 1000 ribbons on 1000 different things. The day of was also great. They were all running around taking caring of things that I had no idea needed to be done. We had a small power outage in our tent during a performance and I didn't even realize - I thought it was part of the performance. They took care of it super quickly without my husband and I even knowing. Also, my bustle was taking about an hour to tie up until finally Nicole stepped in, worked her magic and had it up in a few seconds! Lastly, they packed up all the things that were left at the venue and delivered it all to my mother-in-law's house so we didn't have to do anything after the wedding. Overall, great team and (more or less) stress-free wedding!

I can't say enough good things about the girls at Best Day Ever! They helped manage every detail, gave very honest reviews and opinions of all of our potential vendors, shared every detail to make our day as smooth as possible (i.e.: travel time, ideal and hard times of day for each spot/event, etc.), and kept on top of us to make sure everything was handled efficiently and we had no worries by the time we arrived on the island. They did a great job keeping our 5 year old entertained so we could truly be in the moment and enjoy taking pictures after the ceremony. Our dream wedding was more than we ever could have hoped for it and it never would have been possible or as perfect and stress free and magical without them in the planning process and on the actual day. I've tried to think about what I would want to find out through a review, so that others reading it would find it useful. It is obvious from all the other wonderful reviews that Nicole and Erika are fantastic. So what is it that they do that sets them apart from others? Why should they be in charge or your best day ever? I believe that they truly want to provide you with a wonderful experience on your day, there are many other companies out there that are just in it for the money. I got the impression that their passion is doing what they do. If you are having a destination wedding, the vendors they use are highly professional and you can trust them. Researching vendors online and reading reviews only gets you so far when planning a wedding abroad. I booked all vendors through Best Day Ever and they were wonderful. The extras that Best Day Ever provide are great and they have absolutely everything on hand, there are no oversights with Best Day Ever! They are without a doubt worth what you pay for whichever package you get. If you think you can get away without employing a wedding planner, think again. On the day of the wedding, I did not need to think about timing, everything ran smoothly and if there was a problem, I didn't need to know about it because I know Nicole and Erika would've handled it. The last thing any Bride or Groom wants to do on their wedding day is have to organise anything. With Best Day Ever, you don't have to. All you have to do is love your one special day and have the most amazing time.
