My fiancé and I were thinking about eloping in Oahu and as I started exploring those options I stumbled upon ABC's Adventure Elopement packages, instantly falling in love with the idea. We started working with ABC coordinator Hannah Bocksnick because I thought it would be way too difficult to coordinate everything from Pennsylvania, and it was the best decision we could have made. Hannah was a joy to work with right from the start. She walked me through all of the adventure elopement options, helped us to find the best one for us, and was incredibly helpful and flexible as our elopement turned into a small destination wedding. She was always just a text, call or email away, happy to answer any questions that we may have, no matter how many questions we asked, large or small. My husband's mother was joining us for the wedding and she has some difficulties walking for long distances and has trouble with difficult terrain, so Hannah helped us find the perfect ceremony spot that was relatively easily accessible for her, but still secluded and had an adventure feel. Hannah met us at our hotel a few days before the ceremony to make sure all of our plans were set and satisfactory. The big day went off without a hitch and was everything we could have possibly wanted, and I know that Hannah is the reason everything turned out the way it did. We would never have found amazing vendors or an amazing location without her, and things definitely would have been more stressful had I not had her holding my hand through the whole thing. We would recommend Hannah and ABC to anyone thinking of getting married and/or having a adventure elopement in Hawaii, they're simply the best.

My husband and I highly recommend Aloha Bridal Connections. We got married last October and it was literally the best day of our lives. Everything was perfect thanks to the team of vendors and of course working with ABC. We worked with Natalie and hired ABC for Day of Coordination services. Natalie was awesome throughout the entire process. Although we were only contracted through day of services, she was always there via email to answer any and every question we had through the entire year of planning, from advice about vendors to making a list of recommendations, she responded very quickly and thoroughly. Another reason one should go with ABC is their organization. From organizing the timeline and vendor lists to setting up the tables at the reception, everything involved was layed out in a spreadsheet online so that we could all be on the same page. Planning a wedding is a lot of work and there are so many factors involved and I found this very helpful because we could all see the big picture. One of the big reasons we chose ABC is because of Natalie. From the get go Natalie always had a smile on her face and her energy was always so positive. She's patient and always listened and was always calm and composed. Wedding day was here and Natalie and her team were on point and made everything go so smoothly. Natalie made sure we were taken care of. She made sure we drank water, fanned my eyes when I was getting teary eyed and even dusted the sand off my feet with a towel after walking on the beach for pictures. The videographer said "I have never seen any coordinator do that for a bride." It was little things like that that made me grateful for choosing Natalie from ABC. I recommend ABC to all of my friends. Not only do they provide great services but they are also affordable and fit perfectly into our budget. They definitely deliver and exceeded expectations.

Hiring Natalie and the team at ABC was one of the best decisions I could have made for our big day. Planning a wedding in Hawaii, while living in Texas is not easy and the knowledge of the island and the vendors that Natalie had was priceless. The majority of our decisions were based on her advice and we couldn't be happier with the way our big day went! I worked with Natalie for my destination wedding (Secret Island Beach & Moli'i Gardens, Kualoa Ranch) and she was absolutely amazing!!! And that's not just from me, all of my wedding party, family members, and guests were raving about how awesome Natalie and her team were! From the very start, Natalie was super easy to work with, very professional, efficient and effective communication, super friendly, and most importantly, very patient with my many questions and requests. Because of these incredible ladies, our destination wedding in Hawaii was truly an amazing experience for us, our friends, and our families. Eric and I were both so excited, but a little nervous about planning our dream wedding all the way from San Francisco. Aloha Bridal Connections deserves every star in the galaxy! Planning a destination wedding seemed impossible. We knew exactly what we wanted, but had no idea where to begin. After a couple months of searching, my husband finally found Lauren and her incredible ABC team. The process started with an initial FaceTime greeting, and everything that followed was seamless. She provided a list of vendors she loved, and gave descriptions of why she recommended them. She also started a GoogleDrive file that allowed us to keep all of our contracts in one place. Even though we opted for Day-Of Coordination, Lauren made herself available to answer every question we had. After a year of planning, Lauren made letting go extremely easy. Once she took over as the main point-of-contact, we finally got to focus on our trip and not the coordination of our wedding. Because of her meticulous attention to detail and careful planning, our dream wedding came to life in a blink of an eye. Our only regret is not being able to spend more time with Lauren and her team during the wedding. If we could do it all over again, Lauren and the Aloha Bridal Connections team would absolutely be the one to call!

Lauren has the attention to detail you absolutely want in a day of event co-ordinator. On the big day we day we also spent time with Natalie and Stephanie and found the whole Aloha Bridal Connections team have the same amazing attitude and dedication to deliver the best day possible. My husband and I got married at St. Joachim and our reception at Hale Koa Estate on Oahu. We both agreed that hiring ABC was the best decision that we made in the planning of our wedding. Lauren and her team were extremely professional and organized. It became abundantly clear how experienced they were when they were anticipating things that I would have never expected. They did the entire set up and break down and organized our things at the end of the night in a neat box so that my husband and I could focus on us and our guests. They kept everything on track with our timeline and even made sure that we ate (you'd be surprised at how difficult it is to eat at your own wedding!) we also primarily used her recommended vendors which made everything so easy because they all knew each other. Also, with her 5% vendor discount, we got her services for almost-free! I cannot say enough great things about Lauren and her team! They were incredible to work with.

I get nothing but positive vibes from these fantastic group of individuals! Natalie Christensen was our day-of coordinator for our beautiful destination wedding this past September 2018. She is without a doubt top tier when it comes to bringing these special occasions into fruition; her professionalism and amicable personality made it a pleasant experience throughout the entire planning process. Whenever we had a question or would want to change something in the process Natalie was there with an answer right away; even amidst the stress and anxiety that may have overtaken us the day before the wedding, she was able to keep all of us calm and collected. On the actual wedding day, everything went according to plan because of Natalie; we can tell it comes easy to her because she definitely loves what she does. If you're looking for someone who puts the needs of the client first and foremost, Natalie is your go-to! In the future if we were to renew our vows, we would pick ABC all over again. :)

After we decided on Oahu as our wedding destination, my husband and I reached out to a bunch of wedding planners and coordinators. There are so many on the island that are talented and friendly. What separated Lauren from the rest was that we felt like we were talking with a good friend. She gave us her honest opinion about different venues and dates and how they would fit into our overall vision. Every single one of her recommendations was completely wonderful. I believe that she puts people on her preferred list that are easy to work with, responsive and just plain do a good job at what they do. Many also gave us a 5-10% discount because we were working with Lauren. All the vendors we spoke with said the same thing “we love working with ABC!” We actually picked our wedding date based on lauren’s availability! Lauren was also really humble and fun. :). She gave us recommendations and an idea of what to book when and then let us go off and start contacting vendors. With the “day of coordination” package, Lauren would review our contracts and give us any pointers along the way. Periodically, we would touch base and let her know how things were coming along. Then one month out came game time… We started filling out the schedule, getting details nailed down, and she became point of contact for the vendors (the contract says 2 weeks out but our vendors were reaching out to her since they knew her already). Lauren let us ship a few items from the mainland to her house and had an inventory of it all ready (and brought everything to the rehearsal ). We had a great rehearsal the day prior which Lauren coordinated. We were an unruly bunch and she somehow got through the events. She prompted us by asking us questions along the way about details. She was never pushy but wanted to give us the opportunity to weigh in if we cared. She always gave us great suggestions if we were indifferent. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. If there were hiccups, we never knew about them. It just seemed to run completely seamlessly. Lauren and her team were so amazing - all our guests appreciated their friendly and “I've got this” attitude. When we got our pictures, we saw a picture of Lauren and her team literally picking up the flower petals from the aisle. I was floored. We would never have done that if we knew they would have to pick them up. They never complained and just handled it like the pros they are. My husband and I didn't stress about the wedding and it was in large part because of Lauren for planning and Lauren and her team for executing. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I would love to attend a wedding that they planned. :). I've already recommended her twice. If we ever do another recommitment ceremony, she will be the first one we call.

We had over 2 years to plan our destination wedding so at first I was a little skeptical about the need for a wedding coordinator. By the end of the wedding I was thanking my lucky stars that I engaged Lauren and her team at Aloha Bridal Connections - simply put, we couldn't have done it without them! I engaged Lauren after reading other reviews and after a quick Skype meeting (we're in Australia) we stopped looking for other options. Lauren was an absolute pleasure to work with - not only did she go above and beyond what we expected, she's so personable and fun as well. The planning process was extensive - we had one of those weddings where we needed to hire vendors for EVERYTHING and Lauren made sure that everything was in order, helped us with our timeline and offered so many great suggestions that we otherwise would not have thought of and also helped with our ceremony rehearsal. On the wedding day itself Lauren and her team came into their own. We had a crazy amount of decorations which they helped set up; Lauren took control of the proceedings to make sure that the day went as smoothly as possible. I'm almost certain that she was the first one there and the last to leave which speaks volumes about her dedication and professionalism. All this allowed us to enjoy our big day that much more and I have absolutely no reservations in recommending ABC to anyone planning their wedding - as we were, you'll be in great hands!

I don't even know how to begin writing this review as I am not sure that the right words even exist to help me explain how AMAZING my experience with ABC was. Two words, Jade Devaux. That explains it all for me. JADE IS SERIOUSLY A MAGICIAN when it comes to making dream weddings happen! She went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure my day was exactly how I imagined. Jade met me (even on her days off) and every time we spoke it was like talking to my best friend. She was always so nice, so calm, precise with details and her communication was beyond perfect (with me and all my vendors). Another example how Jade is a complete super hero was when just 1 day before my wedding, I told her that I didn't have time to attach my guest favors to the name tags and asked her to please just layer them on plate instead of tying with ribbon. Jade and her team (after working hours) ended up tying all ribbons onto each favour/name tag and made sure they were set up the next day exactly as planned. They did not have to do this, but they genuinely wanted too, which goes to show how amazing Jade and the ABC team is. I am so thankful I booked with ABC and met Jade. The planning process would have been so stressful and we wouldn't have had OUR DREAM WEDDING without her. I can't thank Jade and ABC enough! If you are looking for help with planning/details, vendor recommendations, vendor communication, etc, LOOK NO FURTHER. I would pay 4x the price all over again to have Jade/ABC's help... they are seriously invaluable and will make sure your experience is a positive one instead of a stressful one like the horror stories you hear about and see in the movies!

Hiring Lauren and the ABC team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We highly recommend them! My husband and I had a destination wedding in Honolulu, Hawaii (Sept 5, 2014). We planned the wedding ourselves and we realized during the process that it might be a good idea to hire a wedding day coordinator to help us on our wedding day and provide advice throughout the planning process - we were extremely happy to find Lauren and ABC! The big difference between Lauren and other wedding coordinators is that she made herself available for consultation as soon as we hired her (versus other coordinators who only gets involved closer to the date). Because we were planning a destination wedding, it was important to us to make sure the vendors we planned to hire were the best and most reliable - Lauren helped us a lot by providing vendor referrals and we were happy with all the vendor services and discounts! Lauren was also responsive to all our inquiries and she took the time to understand our vision. She was the point of contact 2 weeks before the wedding and that definitely helped keep some of the stress off of us. We met with Lauren a couple of days before the wedding and she was extremely organized, so nice and on top of everything - my husband and I felt calm and assured that everything was going to be alright after the meeting. On the wedding day, Lauren came early to make sure everything was all set and ready for the busy day ahead. Lauren and her team was extremely organized and well coordinated. They were the last ones out of the event venue and made sure all the important stuff were securely returned to our room. It was really a huge pleasure to have them at our wedding and we couldn't have had a beautiful day without them!

This review is long overdue, but I cannot say enough great things about Lauren and her team. My wife and I decided to have a destination wedding in Hawaii because we wanted to just celebrate our “special day” with just family and close friends. I’ll be the first to admit that since we weren’t planning for a large local wedding, I thought paying for wedding planner would be a complete waste of money and was strongly against it early on, but boy was I wrong! After talking to a friend who recently got married in Hawaii right before us, I was convinced to higher a Wedding Planner and we had the great fortune of enlisting in Aloha Bridal Connections services for our wedding because Lauren, Josie and Natalie were absolutely amazing! I have to admit I was a little concerned with how this whole process would work since we weren’t in the same country, we wouldn’t have time to meet until the day before the wedding, and all of our communication would be done through either emails or phone/skype calls. Lauren quickly put those concerns to rest as she was extremely professional, caring, insightful and patient. On the day of our wedding Lauren and her team took care of every detail big and small. They were even prepared for things we didn’t think about. Lauren took on the communication with all of our vendors a week prior to our wedding and confirmed timeline and payment details with them, and on the day of she was in constant communication with everyone from our photographer, hotel staff, guests, wedding party and our Emcee to ensure that everything went as planned. Even when we decided to make a quick change during our reception, she ensured that everything went smoothly. The best compliment we can probably give is that most of our guests were even commenting to us afterwards as to how amazing they thought Lauren and her team was, and how smooth and efficient they thought our wedding went. On top of the amazing job that Laruen and her team did, they even went out of their way to go up to our room and decorate it with flower petals and leave us a very thoughtful note. Without a doubt we truly believe that Lauren and her team allowed us to have a very memorable wedding, and I cannot say enough good things about her. Many of our guests have come to us to comment on how much fun they had at our wedding and how great they felt everything was, and whenever they do I’m quick to point out that Lauren deserves most of the credit for that. If you are planning on getting married in Honolulu, I strongly recommend Lauren and her team to help make your “special day” exactly that. They will not disappoint!

We hired Aloha Bridal Connections for day-of coordinating. Our wedding was this past July 2015 and Lauren and her team did a wonderful job! After meeting Lauren for the first time, we knew right away that she had a lot of experience in the business. She was able to give us advice on small details that we probably wouldn't have thought of ourselves. We were also glad that she was already familiar with our venue, the YWCA Honolulu. She was able to help out with the venue's layout (where the cake and DJ could be set up, etc.) and how much food we should probably order. Lauren's calm and assertive personality made her the perfect person to deal with vendors and some guests on the day-of. I'd like to say her calmness also made me (the bride) feel relaxed that day. She kept things running smoothly and I was glad that I didn't have to worry about a thing. We also hired two extra ABC assistants to sit at our check-in table. They did a great job and I was so thankful we didn't need to stick a family member at the check-in table instead. They made sure everyone knew where to go for the ceremony, gave away favors and collected any missing mailing addresses from guests. I'd recommend Aloha Bridal Connections to anyone planning their wedding on Oahu. ABC is very experienced and professional at what they do. No complaints here! :)

My wife is originally from Hawaii so we went back there for our wedding. We hired ABC as our day-of wedding co-ordinators in October 2016. Natalie was lovely to work with. She gave us an excellent start a year before the wedding with various spreadsheets and details to think about. Despite living on the other side of the world in England, Natalie kept in touch regularly throughout our planning via e-mails and video calls. In the last two weeks she took over all communication with our vendors, and really helped to pull everything together. For example, 3 days before the wedding she resolved issues with our lighting rental vendor when they became very difficult and unresponsive. We got to the point where we were going to give up and forego our plans, but Natalie encouraged us not to give up on our design and in the end she secured the look we wanted. Without her our wedding wouldn't have lived up to our vision! On the wedding day Natalie and her team did an incredible job, especially with all of our DIY details like setting up our 1000 origami paper cranes and packing them all away again at the end of the day. My husband and I got married in December 2016 and chose ABC after reviewing so may other wedding planners. From the moment we decided to go with them a year out from our wedding, everything they did for us while we lived overseas made planning this wedding pretty doable. The time difference between where I was and Hawaii was 12 hrs, and whenever I had a question or concern about something, Lauren and her team were always quick to answer. When I had a chance to meet her in person, she was very attentive and you could tell she loved her job. Organization skills are huge to have especially when it comes to weddings; Lauren, Natalie and Stephanie were definitely on it come wedding day! I honestly did not feel like I had to control anything, except for making sure I ate breakfast and got my dress on when she said it was time. The entire day was smooth sailing and so much fun. I even got to eat my own food!

THEY WERE AMAZING. From our first skype session, the open communication via email and text, everything leading up to the wedding was incredible. I could not have asked for a better team. Anytime I had a "911 wedding emergency" Lauren always had a solution right on the spot. Her organization and attention to detail was so on point, it was so amazing. Our apologies for the late review. We meant to do this a few days after we got back from Hawaii. We had our wedding last 08.08.18. Planning a wedding is not as easy at it seems, especially if its a destination wedding. When we first started planning our wedding in Hawaii we thought that we could do things on our own without the help of a coordinator. My wife insisted that we get a coordinator, I insisted that we do not need one, so we compromised and got a coordinator. It was a challenge looking for the right coordinator because there are so many to choose from, but we followed our gut feeling and decided to go with Aloha Bridal Connections, and we were very happy that we did follow our gut feeling. We emailed them and inquired about their services and we met Jade through email. She responded within the day with how they do things and also with vendor recommendations, and you also get a 5% discount with their preferred vendors which helps alot with your budget. Jade was a very efficient resource for us. We had so many questions and she was there to answer our questions and give us ideas. We had a phone conference to go through what has already been done and what else needed to be done. During the phone conference Jade spoke to us with a calm voice, a positive attitude and was encouraging with the tasks that needed to be done. When you are planning a destination wedding you really need someone like that. We met Jade face to face a few days before our wedding and it felt like we have known her for a long time, its like seeing a long lost friend. It was so easy to open up to her and tell her about our preferences for our wedding. She met with us for our rehearsal the day before the wedding and talked to our family members about the plan and timeline for the wedding and it helped alot. Wedding day came and everyone was on time for make up, photos and video. We were very impressed at how involved Jade was with our wedding. She was always one step ahead of things and we actually got to enjoy our wedding without worries. We highly recommend Jade and Aloha Bridal Connections for your big day. I wish there was a way to give Lauren and the ABC team 6 stars! I worked with Lauren a year before our wedding in Kauai and she was helpful every step of the way. She was very responsive on email even when she was away for vacation, which I very much appreciated. The abc website was organized and easy to use as well. Lauren and the ABC team bring their expertise on the island, which is something that is so valuable in the planning process, especially since we planned from long distance. She matched us with a great photographer (personality matters so much!) and helped us the entire planning process. The day of, I would not have survived with Lauren and her team! They ran the entire day so smoothly that I didn't have to worry about a thing. I wasn't thrilled with my bouquet and Lauren sensed it immediately and got a new one (which was perfect!) without me even asking or knowing! Little examples of this (and I have a million more) were things that Lauren and her team were aware of and helped take care of! They even brought off! wipes to help the mosquitoes stay away. If you go with Lauren and her team, there is no doubt that you will be so thankful you did. They are worth every penny and more! I wish I could say more about how much we loved them. 6 stars for Lauren and the ABC team!

It’s been a few weeks since our wedding and there are not enough words to describe how blessed we were to have Natalie and her team at Aloha Bridal Connections for our Day-Of Coordinators. From our first inquiry (a year and a half before our wedding) to face-to-face meetings during our short trips back home to Oahu (from California), to everything and anything that had to be done on the day-of, Natalie’s communication skills were on-point and I always felt like I was talking to someone I’ve known all my life, like a life-long friend not someone I just hired. We would skype, meet at the venue, Starbucks, email, text, share Google drive folders, and more. Everything was smooth and seamless working with her. Although she kept telling me I was the easiest bride she’s ever worked with (because my OCD might have over-planned on the details, labels, spreadsheets, and pictures), but I as the bride was thankful to have her keep me grounded and sane. Her team has had numerous weddings at our venue, and knew exactly what to do to keep the program moving. They were so patient, as were my other vendors, during the multiple rain calls hours before the ceremony was supposed to start. It did rain, actually it thunder stormed due to a nearby tropical storm, but ABC already knew what plan B was and executed flawlessly. At the very least, every bride needs a Day-of Wedding Coordinator. This was what we hired Lauren and her ABC team for. After an exchange of emails, we met her through Skype and loved her kind and professional demeanor. She's energetic and detail-oriented. Lauren is on top of her work! This was important for us since we're from New Jersey and needed responsiveness through emails. As we started locking down our vendors, we started looping Lauren in. About two months before the big day, Lauren's role started to gradually grow and she took over well before we flew out to Hawaii. Let's get to the big day. It's raining cats and dogs from 4am til around 9am and Lauren and I discussed a backup game plan if it still rains for our outdoor reception (Turtle Bay Resort). I had a huge role in planning and executing, so my natural instinct was to come up with something on my own. I came to my senses and remembered that we hired Lauren for this exact scenario. I let Lauren know that we trusted her opinion and let her take the driver's seat for the rest of the day. The rain stopped right when the church ceremony started. Lauren and her team were present at the church and helped out a ton. When my wife and I arrived to the reception, her team was all over everything. They rocked. They kept the drinks coming, fanned my sweaty self and made the day so easy for us. We are so lucky (and smart) to have hired them! Advice to future brides: SAVE YOUR SANITY. Let's start by saying that Lauren made sure we got to eat at the reception (I get hangry)! She even had the hotel staff bring us food before the reception started!!! :) Amazing service! Lauren and the ABC team were absolutely AMAZING! They're super fun and easy to work with, make you feel comfortable and are very good at their job. From the very beginning, they made sure every detail was taken care of and kept me on top of my planning. Lauren quickly responds to emails and the pricing is definitely reasonable if you want some peace of mind on your wedding day. I love that they do all the set-up and clean-up too! It is not often that I’m eager to offer a positive review for a business. And here I am, can’t wait to share my experience working with the awesome ladies at ABC! Planning a wedding in Hawaii while living on the mainland is as difficult as you can imagine. Not knowing where to start, I found ABC on Yelp based on all the great reviews and started working with Lauren about a year before our wedding. Lauren offered a video chat right after I contacted her. I shared with her as how clueless I was about planning a wedding. But after our initial video meeting, I immediately felt at ease! We went with the Day Of package. The name is kind of deceiving, because they will work with you throughout the entire planning process! Not just on your wedding day! Yes, I did need to communicate with vendors myself first, but I actually preferred doing that. Lauren gave me a list of vendors for each category with her view of them (which was very HELPFUL). And each partnering-vendor would offer a 5% discount. The savings adds up! Fast forward to a month before our wedding, Lauren and I had a call for over an hour going through every little detail of our wedding day. She asked me questions about little things I didn’t even think of. She took over all communications with vendors about 2 weeks before the wedding. She was such a professional and a perfectionist! When our wedding day finally came, I honestly just followed Lauren’s lead. EVERYTHING was taken care of by ABC and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I woke up the next morning to find that Lauren even brought our stuff back from the wedding to our hotel room when we were celebrating with our families and friends! Lauren Ellis and her team are the absolute best! We booked Aloha Bridal Connection for their day-of-coordination services, and it was one of the best wedding planning decisions we had made. We were planning our destination wedding in Honolulu from Vancouver, Canada so we had put a lot of trust in Lauren, since we hadn't met any of our vendors until the week of our wedding! Lauren made wedding planning from afar incredibly stress-free, she is professional and super organized, always responded to her emails promptly, and had great recommendations about wedding vendors and advice about the wedding details. One month before our wedding, we sent Lauren all of our contracts and she took over communication with our vendors. She was able to put together our wedding timeline and went through it together with us step-by-step over Skype. Lauren was super friendly but also has a great take-charge attitude, so we were confident that we were in good hands on our wedding day. We met Lauren the morning before our wedding for our rehearsal, and she was able to quickly plan and accommodate some of our last minute changes on the wedding day. It turned out that it was going to be a windy afternoon, so both Lauren and our photographer suggested moving the location for our portraits to someone closer to our venue where it would be less windy and where we could have more time to take photos. Lauren also suggested moving the dance floor to the other side of the reception venue for better acoustics, which turned out to be another good call. Our wedding day was a dream come true! Lauren was there bright and early in the morning and was with us throughout the whole day, while her team had set up the ceremony and reception area just as we had envisioned. Our photographer and videographer said they hadn't seen a more relaxed couple - but it was all thanks to Lauren, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Our wedding party and family all commented on how seamlessly the day went by and how stress free it was for them too, which was also really important to us. Lauren and her team took care of everything that day from making sure we had water and snacks throughout the day, gathering our friends and family for group photos, queuing the emcees for announcements, and a million other details! Aloha Bridal Connections is AMAZING! My then-fiancée and I were planning our Honolulu-based wedding (3/8/14) from 2,500 miles away in Los Angeles, so we knew we'd need someone on the island who could handle our long-distance needs. From our first in-person meeting five months before our big day, Lauren Ellis proved that she was perfect for us, what with her four-page packet of questions, knowledge of seemingly every wedding-related service provider on the island, and of course, her supremely positive attitude. It was one of those meetings where you walk away and say, "We HAVE to hire her!" So we did! We booked Lauren for the "Day-Of" service, but we were able to correspond via e-mail and Skype starting a month out. During that time she got our vendor contracts in order, helped write the Emcee script, and laid the groundwork for the most important document of all: The Wedding Timeline. We landed in Honolulu a week before the wedding and immediately met with Lauren to discuss the remaining items on our to-do list. The number of tasks that could only be accomplished in-person was overwhelming (such as final site walkthroughs and applying for our marriage license), but she kept us organized and made it all seem easy. The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch, but what we had really been working toward with Lauren was the reception. By the time the bridal party arrived at the beautiful Waikiki Aquarium, every single item was where it needed to be. On top of getting everything ready for our arrival, Lauren and her team made quick, informed decisions on our behalf, and were beyond amazing at staying on top of the photographers' schedule, which is no easy task. The two entities are natural enemies when it comes to time management, but Lauren's team helped keep the photos moving along and we were still able to get some amazing sunset shots before the reception started. The reception ran smoothly, with the teams splitting up their responsibilities to balance the several spinning plates (and our spinning heads). She task-mastered the food distribution, guest photos, the bar, the toasts, dancing, and most importantly - making sure all the guests were happy. The night was truly one that my wife and I will never forget, and we will definitely never forget that we couldn't have done it without Lauren and her team at Aloha Bridal Connections. We'd highly recommend ABC to anyone!

Out of all the enquiries we made online, Hannah was the only one who immediately made time to speak with us over the phone. Well she was delightful! But more than that, she was with us every step of the way. Regardless of our questions, we were always greeted with a friendly, helpful and timely response. Lauren was our day of coordinator for our wedding on 7/27/14. Firstly, Lauren and her team are amazing! They helped to make my wedding stress-FREE! During the planning process, people kept saying how above everything we needed to get a day of coordinator and that it would be definitely worth it. This will sound crazy, but Lauren was recommended to us by an insurance agent, who we didn't really know. I looked her up and every review was simply positive and raved about her. I met with Lauren with my MOH to see if she would be a good fit for me. She was super nice and seemed really organized and I decided to booked her. She definitely kept in touch throughout the planning process and was vital in recommending some of the vendors that I ended up using for my wedding. All of the vendors she recommended were awesome. Lauren took the reigns with everything two weeks prior to my wedding day, which meant being the primary contact for all vendors. We recently got married at Moli'i gardens in Kualoa ranch and had Natalie from Aloha Bridal Connections help us with organizing everything for our wedding day. Before we started, I had no idea what went into a wedding. I mean, I thought I did, what with the vendors and the ceremony and the reception … and basically that it all had to be everything my then fiancee wanted it to be. What I really had no idea about was all the work and thought that goes into making EVERY DECISION. The amount of detail and knowledge required to get anything done was so enormous, my wife and I often found ourselves overwhelmed with the wedding planning process. Enter Lauren Ellis and Aloha Bridal Connections. We got a Custom Plan which was an additional month of wedding planning and the Day-Of Coordination Package. Now, before I continue with our interaction, I would have to summarize Lauren and her crew in two words. Perfect balance … in just about everything. I’ll explain. The additional month of wedding planning was for my wife and I to figure our lives out and make decisions. I think that a lot of brides get hung up, not because the process is so detailed oriented, but because they don’t know if the decision they’re making is a good one. They can’t rely on us, the grooms, because our first answer is usually, “whatever you want,” which translates into “I don’t really care, so you pick,” even though that’s not what we mean … usually. Obviously, this doesn’t go over very well. Then, when grooms finally make a decision, brides think their grooms are just saying an answer to say an answer. Sometimes this is true, sometimes it’s not, but I digress … In any case, Lauren was awesome because she would let my wife know that her decision or choice was, indeed, a good one or a bad one. And she did so perfectly. She knew exactly how to criticize an idea that wouldn’t have worked and then tweak it in a way that would make it appealing to my wife. She was also great at working hard to make sure the awesome ideas my wife had were executed perfectly. Lauren came with us to our vendor meetings and made us sit down and make decisions about things in 15 minutes that would’ve taken us a week to do if we were by ourselves. She also went shopping with us to help us get items for our wedding. She made a lot of great suggestions for centerpieces and decor. The best part had to be our homework. Lauren gave us tasks to complete like find a particular item at a store or make a slideshow of the flowers we liked online … stuff like that to help us make decisions quickly and make us feel like we were doing something towards the wedding. It feels nice to cross things off-lists and get things done. Our wedding was conveniently sandwiched between two hurricanes, and we had to, at the last minute, come up with contingency plans. Lauren helped us keep our cool or coordinate with our venue to make alternative arrangements. Fortunately, we didn’t have to change anything, but having Lauren there to bounce off ideas was very comforting. I’m pretty sure Lauren chased the hurricanes away. Anyway, she was a perfect balance of getting things done and not letting us panic. On the day of the wedding, Lauren’s assistants were incredibly helpful. I was actually stressing out a little over the time, but the assistants did a great job of letting me know we were perfectly on schedule and calming me down. What’s more, my groomsmen and I had a great time hanging out with them. They were a perfect balance of professional and casual. Zero hiccups during our wedding. Nothing that stressed us out. A wonderful evening to be had by all. Now, all I need is a time machine to go back and go to my own wedding and enjoy it as a guest. Lauren assures me, she’s working on it. My wife and I had our wedding this past June at Ko’olau Ballrooms on Oahu and we both agree that Lauren and her team were absolutely outstanding in every aspect of their services. We had reached out to ABC for their day-of coordination package and in every one of our interactions, Lauren was extremely warm and upfront. She provided great wedding planning tips and vendor selections. She was also highly responsive via email which was immense given the fact that we were planning a destination wedding. It really put us at ease knowing that we had eyes and ears on the ground for us. In the days leading up to the wedding, Lauren made sure that every single one of our questions and concerns was addressed whether it was wedding itineraries (her time estimations for the schedule were spot-on!), flower arrangements, or anything else. She also took on all correspondence with our vendors which really took a load off of our shoulders and allowed us to focus on other aspects of the wedding as well as family and friends. Our wedding day felt like a blur and we know that feeling was in good measure due to how smoothly Lauren and her team coordinated the entire event. Lauren was right there making sure all the pieces were in place before, during, and after the wedding. My wife and myself each had an assigned assistant who helped with whatever was needed from water to even providing touch-up make-up and ice for a bug bite that I received while taking pictures prior to the wedding (the bite was gone by the wedding ceremony thankfully)! Lauren also went above and beyond by going out of her way to replace a specially bought wine glass that had broken prior to the wedding. Wherever there was a need, Lauren and her team were there with the solution. Simply put, we would highly recommend ABC to any other couples looking for an expert and professional wedding coordinator - you absolutely won’t be disappointed!!!

If I could give her 10 stars I would! Lauren is amazing and easy to work with! I couldn't have done it without her! I was on a tight budget, as are many other bride/grooms, so I needed someone that I felt comfortable with and within my budget. Especially for the fact that I will not be able to meet them, my gut feeling and the responsiveness was key! When I contacted lauren, I swear, she responded to me in a split second! I was shocked and pleased! it wasn't just once but almost every time I emailed her, she responded within minutes. Lauren was very honest and helped me through everything. Every time we spoke, either through phone or email, I felt 100x better and 100x less stressed because I knew I was in good hands. On the day of, Lauren arrives early and we go through all the details of the wedding in terms of decorations and I hand it over to her from there. She stays with you and does all these behind the scenes stuff! Her teams joins later and they were all amazing as well! such great people, so nice, sweet and genuine. The whole day went so smoothly and it was completely due to her an her team! My guests also commented afterwards telling me how the transition from ceremony to cocktails to receptions all went smoothly. If there were any issues on our wedding day, we had no idea, which means she did a wonderful job in making sure everything works out and that we continue to have fun on our special day! I honestly could not have asked for anything more. Our wedding was beautiful and PERFECT in every way possible. I was stress-free that day and the days leading up to the big day, due in huge part from Lauren! I highly HIGHLY recommend her!
