We loved working with Kendall and WOW! Kendall was amazing. My husband and I decided to go with Day-of coordination so I did a lot of the planning and we meet with Kendall every so often to update her on any vendors we had booked, changes we made and to get suggestions. She always made time to meet with us and sometimes with short notice. I felt confident that we could leave our special day and all the little details in her hands and not need to worry about anything. She also met with our DJ to go over details with him to make sure everything ran smoothly, which they did. The day-of Kendall put their best coordinators on it and we were so happy with everything. Kendall and the team at White Orchid Wedding were so genuine, so professional and we could not have gotten through our wedding day without them!

My experience with WOW was nothing less than perfect. My husband and I knew upon getting engaged 11 months ago that we had to get married in Maui, but had no idea even where to start being that we live in Bakersfield, CA. After reading countless reviews, we knew that WOW was the way to go. It is so hard to let go of all the details, but Patty, our coordinator was spot on every step of the way. Not only did she set us up with the world's best vendors (5 Palms was a great venue, food was delicious; Lumier for photography.... amazing; Ry'n for hair and make up- cannot say enough; DJ Scott, so fun and so easy to work with!), but she was able to get us within budget. All and all, I think you would be hard pressed to find a bride that would say that there was absolutely nothing that she would change, or nothing that went wrong on her wedding day, but from more than one person I heard that our wedding was the best wedding that they had ever attended, all of which would not be possible without Patt and the team at WOW.

My partner and I dreamed of getting married in Maui but, as we live in the UK, we didn't know where to start. We contacted White Orchid and were extremely lucky to be assigned to Nalani. She was WONDERFUL. Right from the start, she listened to everything we wanted, had brilliant suggestions, and always paid attention to detail. It has now been two weeks since our wedding. Jacqueline from W.O.W. was amazing. She was so helpful from the very beginning, she was available through phone or email whenever I needed her and helped with every question. She was so willing to help with anything, even things that didn’t have to do with the wedding (like finding me a tattoo artist in Maui). White Orchid Beach House was beyond anything I could have expected, it was really breathtaking and the whole process from beginning to end was stress free and went off without a hitch!!! We went here to get our marriage license and they were super friendly and speedy with the entire process. The building is a renovated single family home, and parking is a bit difficult but there are plenty of spaces in the neighboring intersections. Located in downtown Wailuku, there’s a lot of cool shops and eateries to explore in the area too.

I would have given more stars as there were no problems with my Sept 2016 wedding. I'm just bothered that I never received my wedding keepsake certificate. This was part of the package that we paid for and it has never been received. It may seem silly but it is important to me because I paid for it and was looking forward to putting it in my wedding shadow box. I contacted Kendall several times about it through email and yet almost 5 months later I still do not have it. I also did not receive a response from my last phone call directly to White Orchid Wedding.

Bernie and Steven were awesome! We loved everything about the experience with them! We did the beach house wedding location on Maui and it could not have been a more wonderful location! We decided to get married at the White Orchid Beach House. It is one of the most intimate and cozy wedding beach houses in Maui. With the waves crashing on the rocks and the beautiful sunset in the background, I thought to myself; this was the perfect location to get married! I was so glad I chose WoW as my wedding planner. Many thanks to Kendall; she was patient and sincere throughout the process. She was truly an amazing wedding coordinator to work with. She tailored her service to fit my needs. I never once felt that I was being pushed to make any decisions. I set up a budget for each category (ex. Caterging/ live music/ flower/ shave ice! etc) and she worked with me to stay within it. Kendall gave me her honest feedback on which areas I could save in and which areas to splurge in. I never felt pressure to beef up on things that was not on top of my priorities. Kendall helped me make my dream wedding become a reality. I felt that every dollar was well spent! As a professional service provider myself, I understand the importance of providing a service that goes beyond a client’s expectation. Kendall did all that when she earned my trust and listened carefully to my needs. I would highly recommend Kendall to my own family or close friends as their wedding coordinator!

White Orchid Wedding and Steven were amazing! We decided to have our wedding in Maui. Long story short, Steven planned and executed our perfect wedding. Our wedding exceeded our expectations and was just completely phenomenal. With our wedding being a destination wedding, Steven communicated with us very well. I was living abroad during that time and he kept me in the loop and explained things clearly. If he needed to speak to us or vice versa he made himself available. He often went above and beyond for me. He even picked up little things I should’ve remembered. He did not give me a hard time and just reassured me that he would take care of it. We got married at the Sugarman Estate. I gave Steven and Della my style/designs, they took it and ran with it. We wanted to be surprised with the setup and on the day of the wedding I was amazed! Everything about the wedding exceeded our expectations. Steven referred us to the best vendors on the island. From our decorations, catering, music entertainment, cellist, harpist, bar services, photography, videographer, and overall recommendations were spot on. He was a great mediator and ensured that the decisions being made were in the best interest of the wedding. You know you have a good wedding planner when they have great attention to detail. Steven had that attention to detail to where those little things we overlooked had a great impact on the wedding. Steven was always in control and made sure everything incorporated was within our expectations. I highly recommend White Orchid Wedding and Steven to anyone that needs a planner. He will take care of you and you will be amazed.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with WOW. Jacqueline was our coordinator and she was awesome! She kept in touch with us regularly as the planning process went on. On the day of our wedding she kept me (the bride) calm and informed as to what to do next. Everything turned out perfect! She got everything just the way I wanted it. It rained in the evening and she moved the reception indoors seamlessly. I can't recommend her enough. She's incredibly nice too. We worked with Kendall and selected the "Tiny Bubbles" package for our very small, intimate ceremony at Baldwin Beach on Maui (just the two of us). Due to some of our work obligations and possibly some job changes, we were in contact with Kendall for nearly six months prior to our wedding on June 5, 2017 at 8am. The actual planning occurred in mid-May, (with only about 20 days prior to our arrival) and everything was absolutely PERFECT. Kendall's sincere understanding, flexibility, and responsiveness exceeded all my expectations. I never once thought that the day-of was going to be stressful, and was thoroughly impressed with Kendall's selections/recommendations of officiant, photographer, florals, and hair/makeup stylist. I included photos taken by the amazing Tad Craig in this review, as he truly captured the most stunning stills (and will be adding a review for his beautiful work, as well). I would suggest A White Orchid Wedding without any reservation for any size or type wedding you seek on the islands... their connections and attention to detail epitomize what wedding planning should be.

Nani and Carolee were stellar! I was very nervous about planning a wedding from afar, but there was no need to be. These two ladies handled everything for me. My flowers were exactly what I wanted based on a photo I sent them; the location was wonderful; the planning and timing of the actual ceremony was perfect AND they even had back-up plans due to the threat of a tropical storm on my big day. I really cannot say enough about their services. I admit I was a little skeptical about the price, but believe me it was WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thanks again ladies!

Oct. 11, 2013 From the minute I called White Orchid in January and got " Bernie" assigned to our small wedding party I just felt great about it. Bernie listened and created and re:created over and over as the wedding plans kept changing. She never complained. Yes she went out of her way not pushing us to spend more, she understood our event, and what the bride and groom wanted. Boy oh boy did she and White Orchid deliver. Everything was perfect. The location, which was at the White Orchid Beach House to the musician, "Wolf"(wow) , the photographer, Michael, the videographer (Greg) and the unbelievable fun limo - (Vegas style) - oh and the weather....nice job Bernie. Super kind and just effortless for us. Not a five star wedding but a 10 star. Every detail perfect. Bravo....!!!!!!!!!

My partner and I always wanted an Hawaiian wedding and being from Canada, we weren't even sure where to start. We found some great reviews on White Orchid Weddings and decided to get in touch with them about helping us plan our big day. Our Wedding Planner was Jackie Ishikawa. Let me tell you, this lady is very special. Her personality is caring and encouraging. Jackie is also a logistics queen. We started working with Jackie several months before our wedding. We had regular calls and during every call, she kept us on track about what we needed to focus on in between each check in. She came prepared to every call and was always able to respond to our emails very quickly throughout the month as well. Being a same-sex couple, we were a little concerned with having our wedding in a very public space (like a hotel). Jackie came with some great suggestions and recommended that we host our wedding at a private estate. Her suggestion of the Olowalu Plantation House turned out to be even more amazing than we expected (looking at the photos we could find of other events there, none of them did the venue or the view justice). Jackie was also very knowledgeable about the best vendors on the island, and provided us with a handful of options for each type of vendor we needed. All we had to do was share with her our vision and she took care of the rest. She was also very helpful in working on our behalf with our vendors to help us stay within our budget. As we approached our wedding day, our officiant unfortunately passed away unexpectedly - Jackie called us directly to let us know and came prepared with a couple of alternative reverends that were available on our day. She dealt with a sad and potentially stressful situation very professionally. The day itself was magical and, looking back, the only thing we would have changed would be to make it a bit longer. Everything was set beautifully as planned and went off without a hitch. From the ceremony to intermezzo reception, to the dinner and finally dance - it was perfect. Jackie's team was professional, full of smiles and very welcoming and accommodating. The last piece I want to share is that we (as a couple) can stress a lot, often about little things; however, we went into our wedding with very little stress. With Jackie's preparedness and regular check-ins, everything was set up well in advance of the day. Our wedding party and friends kept commenting on how calm we were. Just goes to show that we had full trust and confidence in Jackie and White Orchid Weddings to handle the expected and unexpected.

We are from the mainland but we decided to get married on Maui with our immediate families in attendance. One would think planning a wedding across the Pacific Ocean would be difficult, even for a small wedding, but White Orchid Weddings made me feel like the most relaxed, stressed free, organized and, most importantly, excited bride throughout the entire process of planning a wedding and the wedding day itself. Know that this is rare for a bride to feel that way - but WOW made it happen. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Kendall O. and she is the sweetest soul you could ever get to know. Even though she wasn’t able to attend our actual wedding day, her retired colleague Linda ran the show and she was an angel sent from above. Just absolutely love them both! Leading up to our wedding, we encountered staff who worked at our hotel, at a local luau, at restaurants - they all knew WOW and told us they are the best of the best. Clearly this company has a glowing reputation on the island! I was so happy to hear that! Everything about this experience was so seamless and fun! They care about you and your loved one, your family, your guests, and your shared vision. You can feel their determination to ensure your day is perfect and it shows through the quality of their work. Our venue was their White Orchid Beach House which is so tastefully decorated and sits on the most unbelievable property. The flowers, the hair styling and makeup, the photography... all vendors coordinated through WOW - were so fun and great to work with. It was our dream day. I could write a novel so I will just say that I know choosing a wedding coordinator can be overwhelming, especially with all the platforms and reviews out there. But believe me when I say I am overjoyed that WOW was our wedding coordinator and we had the best day of our lives because of them. Thank you WOW for your attention to detail, authenticity, organization, compassion and intentional work ethic. We appreciate you so much.
