Kara ws amazing during the planning of our wedding. We got married at a church. We hosting a wedding of a 200 people. She listened to what we were looking for, she did great. " Best thing" we did was hire her. She was on top of everything. She work with our budget. I was stree free because of Kara Thank you for that. :) :)

We hired Kara after reading all the positive reviews and I now know why she is highly rated. Kara helped us with everything we needed to make this a great day not only for us but our family. Our wedding was very small and I feel that she really loves what she does as she didn't charge us for things we really didn't need but you could tell she put 100% into the details of what we had, even rose petals on the beach (Classy Touch). I would personally recommend her for anyone wanting to get married in the Naples area.

From the moment i said YES, to when Hurricane Irma ruin our first venue, and then when her husband Brian found us the most amazing wedding venue, till my wedding day literally sweeping my husband and I off our feet... What can I say about Kara she is totally awesome! Without her I as well as the wedding wouldn’t have come out so beautiful! We had problems that the event coordinator should have been there to take care of and Kara did everything she could in her power to take care of the problems. Best Decision We Ever Made! We went into the wedding planning thing with the mindset that we could do it all ourselves. As things starting rolling I realized that I would not be able to relax and enjoy are special day this way. We hired Kara for partial planning and she went above and beyond! This was the best thing we ever did. We actually got to relax, enjoy our guest, and have fun. Kara made sure that we had everything we needed and then some. I can not say enough good things about Kara. She went as far as enlisting her husband to build us a donut wall for our donut favors. If I had to do it all over again I would hire her in a heartbeat!

I would highly recommend KC Weddings and Events to anyone planning their big day! I had the pleasure of working closely with Kara the 2 months prior to our wedding. I purchased the most basic package as I didn't have many vendors to coordinate, but needed help and peace of mind for the day of the wedding. While Kara was technically only really contracted to help me a month or two before the wedding, she always made herself available to me if I had any questions, and keep in touch with me regularly through the several months prior. She really became a friend during this time, and now I'm sad I don't get to see of talk to her anymore

I knew that I needed someone to help me on-site the day of the wedding, as the last thing I would want to do is get ready as well as run around making sure everything is set up correctly. Kara and Brian were just PERFECT! They both came to my rehearsal the day before and were excellent with taking charge and making sure everyone needed to be where they were supposed to. On my Wedding Day, Brian managed my day for me and he did an amazing job! My reception room was beautiful, the ceremony site was beautiful, he was so wonderful to me and my family. He also took on the brunt of questions from my family members and my Father thought he was great (which coming from him, is a BIG DEAL!). I truly lucked out with this amazing wedding planning couple! Their prices are extremely reasonable, they are incredibly professional, and they completely set my mind at ease on my wedding day. I was able to relax and the day turned out PERFECTLY. Hire them with confidence - you won't regret it! :)

Thank you to Kara and Brian for their work during our wedding! We originally were planning on having around 25-30 guests at our parents house in Marco Island and figured we wouldn’t need a coordinator or planner.. Once that escalated to 52 people we decided to reach out for help and found KC Weddings, and they stepped in seamlessly to where we were at in our planning and got started. Kara is so responsive and available for any questions you may have. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding the wedding planning process and gives great advice to those (like us) who didn’t know what they were doing. We had a unique venue, in that we got married at my parents house out on their dock, so Kara made sure that we had everything we needed (from tables, chairs, silverware, everything for the caterer/kitchen, glasses, napkins etc - the things a “typical” venue would provide). She helped us with the design and flow of the wedding as well which was perfect. On the day of, Kara and her team were there helping with whatever was needed, and it was so appreciated. Even if you are having a small, home wedding like us, HIRE Kara!! It truly made our wedding day stress-free, knowing someone else was handling the vendors/timeline/decor/set-up/breakdown. I could just relax and enjoy the day, thanks to Kara. Highly recommend :) Thank you Kara and Brian! Our day was perfect!

KC weddings Kara and Brian have their own vendor list . Do your research kara recommends venues and vendors based on her network . She is not for the bride . We hired Kara to plan our wedding during the beginning of the process she was very nice . Unfortunately when it came to selecting a venue Kara wanst willing to step outside comfort zone . What I mean by this is she insisted that we go with her already preselected venues . The issue was for the amount of money we wanted to spend these Venues did not fit with what we were trying to accomplish . So we found our own venue . She had this issue with all vendors . So for better money and quality we found all of own vendors and we emailed Kara letting her know our progress and politely explained to her that we didn't understand why we are doing so much foot work . She agreed and understood . Any time a change needed to be made Kara was included in the email and before we signed any contract we spoke to her she was more than compliant . So for over a year we thought every thing was fine . 7 months before saying I do she had her husband send us an email canceling out our contract . We are hurt and don't understand . 7 months before our wedding. We have to find another planner and start all over . Please beware of this couple and don't spend unessisary money do your research Swfl has great vendors and beautiful Venues for less money

I will do my best not to cry while writing this review, I am just so thankful for Kara and all the she did to make our day truly spectacular. Lets start from the beginning. When I first got engaged I reached out to several wedding coordinators, Kara gave me a phone call within 30 minutes of me sending an her e-mail. I did not hear back from the others for days! Our venue was located on my parents farm, in a remote location. She took us through from start to finish. She recommended the majority of our vendors who were also all amazing (seriously, no complaints). And when I say she was on top of it, she was on TOP of it. From coordinating a day of time line down to the minute to dealing with mini disasters throughout the whole process. I was so stress free the entire day, did not deal with one vendor and had an amazing time because of her hard work and dedication. It shows that she truly loves what she does. Oh, and she comes prepared with everything you might forget day of. She even created a cake stand for our wedding cake! Unfortunately we did not get to use it because our bakery surprised us with a round cake as opposed to the square one we ordered. Again, she dealt with this amazingly, everything was covered. She set up our center pieces with an expert touch and even steamed my dress as well as my bridesmaids dresses. Besides the technical stuff, I felt like I had a friend through every step. She was so calming and helped me deal with the stress of wedding planing. If you want to be taken care of like you should for your wedding, reach out to her. You won't be disappointed. She will ensure that you are able to spend your time on the important things (i.e enjoying your friends and family).

I can't recommend Kara more highly! She helped make our dream Doctor Who inspired wedding a reality. She kept me organized while planning, provided helpful insight along the way, and even put in elbow grease when necessary including helping me paint a bunch of decor blue when the time came. I threw so many crazy ideas at her, and she ensured it all came together and just looked beautiful and nuanced all at the same time. Despite having her home hit by hurricane Irma, she continued to keep me on track as the big day approached, and considering she didn't have electricity for several weeks, I was incredibly impressed & appreciative. On the day of, she kept every thing moving like a well oiled machine, ensured all of the decor was placed to fulfill our vision, and even surprised us with several things I had written off as just not having time to figure out or even too expensive. I had told Kara early on that I wanted a light wall for behind the dessert table, but I ran out of time trying to figure out supplies and what was needed for the construction. I had accepted that decor touch just wasn't going to happen. She surprised us by having her hubby source all the materials and construct the light wall for us. It really fulfilled my vision for the dessert area and provided such a lovely twinkley accent to the room. It was absolutely perfect. We had also considered some absolutely Instagram worthy custom cookies as favors. They ended up being too much per person for our budget as favors, but as a personal gift to us she had the cookies made customized for my husband, myself, and our daughter. That way we still got too include the cookies in our photos and enjoy the treats for a few weeks after the wedding. It was just so thoughtful. She really ensured every little detail that we discussed made its way to reality on the actual day. Investing in Kara's services was one of the best decisions I made in all of the planning. On our wedding day, I was able to just be a bride, she took care of the rest. She solved problems including peicing together a toss bouquet from various centerpieces when the florist didn't prepare one and getting a neighboring venue to shut off their music quickly when they started blasting their speakers in the middle our ceremony. She was even standing there with an umbrella as the rain started to fall as soon as we said I Do to ensure I didn't get soaked and ruin my hair and makeup. I could go on, but I think that covers the majority of how amazing this lady is. You will never regret choosing to work with Kara. She will ensure your wedding day is everything you want and MORE.

Where should I start with the remarkable Kara and Brian. A little over two years ago my fiancé at the time knew that we wanted to get married in Naples, Florida. The issue was that we live in Massachusetts and I had know idea where to even begin to plan a wedding in Florida. So I decided to google wedding planners in Naples Florida and magically KC Weddings and Events caught my eye. I called them right there at that moment and within 24 hours I was talking to Kara and explaining my situation. She made me feel so comfortable that the next day we signed a contact with them. We had less then 3 months to plan a small wedding on the beach. Kara and Brian were in contact with me a few times a week to ensure what I had to do on my end. The ideas they gave us was what we were looking for. A month before the wedding we got notification that we could not get married on a certain part of the beach. I was in panic mode but not Kara and Brian. They assured me that they would take care of it and that it was going to still be perfect. And perfect it was. They went beyond the call of duty for us to have the scenery we wanted. My husband and I could not of picked a better wedding planner then Kara and Brian. I took my wedding gown on the airplane thinking I could hang it up in the front of the plane but when I finally got on the plane the space was full so I had to put it with all the carry ons. Well needless to say it was all crinkled when I took it out of the bag. I told Kara what had happened and she said "no problem, I have a steamer at home. I'll steam it for you". She came to the hotel and picked up my dress. The next day I had my beautiful steamed wedding dress ready to get married in. Kara and Brian are very creative, attention to detail, very thoughtful and most important listened to what I wanted. Thank you Kara and Brian for making my wedding day a day full of sunshine!
