This was my first time dealing with Frank. I found about about his business thru a mutual friend. I like to deal by word of mouth. His word was good enough for me and biy was he RIGHT!. My daughter was getting married and this was our first wedding. I have 4 daughters and I can assure you I will be returning to use Frank's services again! Living in Bucks County getting down to Delaware was going to be a difficult proposition. Dealing with Frank and his staff by phone and email was a pleasure. We gave him the size of the wedding and he took care of sizing up the order and the right mix of drinks and brands. A 3rd party delivered the alcohol to Doylestown at a reasonable price. We returned the unused alcohol to Franks after the wedding. The only time I needed to visit the store. After a few weeks I received a nice email breaking down the amount of the refund! Frank has a great business with a courteous staff. He stands behind his product and took care of business for this novice! I will use him again and again and you should do as well!

This past weekend we hosted a home wine tasting for a few family members and close friends that we had won at a silent auction to benefit United Cerebral Palsy. It is a great cause, and I know the organizers of the auction really appreciate the support. Frank, Karl, and Bob made the entire tasting experience hassle-free, fun, and educational. Our guests were able to ask Bob questions and share their different tastes in wine as we enjoyed the hand-picked selection Frank and Karl put together. Bob was attentive to our guests and very knowledgeable. We look forward to making this a holiday season tradition for our guests to try some new wines and make a few last minute gift purchases. Easy, efficient and friendly! I found FranksWine through the internet in preparing for my daughter's wedding reception. Frank is very responsive to emails and we scheduled a tasting for the next Saturday. Siobhan met with us and made the selection process easy and fun. The selections were good and prices are very reasonable. Frank recommended a courier service for delivery to the reception venue which was easy peasy. Everything went off without a hitch! We were able to return our unused bottles/cases and the refund was processed within a few weeks. I would highly recommend FranksWine to anyone planning a wedding reception or other function!

I found FranksWine while searching for birthday surprise for my boyfriend's father, who lives several miles away from the wine store. Frank Pagliaro was so diligent and responsive that he wrote me back within an hour on Monday (their day-off). He patiently explained to me that retailers in Delaware are not permitted for delivery (apparently, I am too spoilt by the convenience New York City offers); therefore, he introduced me to a Courier who is available to delivery the wine with reasonable service fee at my expected time. Thanks to Frank, I was able to choose wines from a good collection from around the world; he even helped me to include a birthday note along with the gift box. All these thoughtfulness and friendliness not only make doing business with Frank with pleasure, but also put a BIG SMILE on the "Birthday Boy's Face. I will certainly visit FranksWine when I am in town next time; I recommend anyone everyone to stop by for some wine tasting and events at FranksWine. We used Frank's Union Wine Mart to provide all the alcohol at our wedding, and working with them was great from start to finish. For the initial consult, we were coming up from DC, they let us come in early to accommodate our tight schedule, and were very helpful with choosing the amounts and types of alcohol we'd need for the wedding. Frank always responded quickly to e-mails, and was very easygoing with small changes to the inventory list. I very much recommend Frank's to anyone looking to stock up for a wedding or other big event!

We used Frank's for our rehearsal dinner and wedding in August 2014. We wanted to supply the alcohol ourselves to save a little money. Frank's was PERFECT for this. He asked for our preferences and filled in the blanks where we had no idea what we should get. He is detail oriented and works very well under tight deadlines. We went back and forth a few times over the specifics of the order to get it just right, and Frank was very easy to deal with and responsive over email. And the BEST PART is that he lets you return the unused portion of the order (note, for wine and champagne it must be unchilled, and for beer it must be full cases). A couple of notes for soon-to-be customers: (1) when you fill out your order online, check your spam box if you don't get a response soon, (2) there is a separate courier company that will deliver the alcohol and are reasonably price (for 65 cases, the cost was $300 for us) -- only issue is that you have to pay them in cash or check, and (3) you can use Frank's for mixers, etc. as well. Great one-stop shopping! Finally, not that any of us want to receive spam, but Frank's weekly update emails from the store are kind of hilarious...

I like a variety of good beer. Yes, I know the name of your store is "FranksWINE" but I still need some beers and you have an okay selection, but nothing to really make me come back. Growler prices are outrageous - I can go to State Line and get a $10 - $15 growler or Whole Foods or Total Wine.... Why is blazes would I pay $25? You are nuts!

I recently contracted with Frank for the liquor for my son's wedding as he was recommended by the caterer. I am so glad I did. A task I thought would be overwhelming was made very easy by letting Frank use his experience in suggesting the variety and volume of liquor we needed for the event. After the bride's mom made an initial visit to the store, Frank and I handled everything online. He was patient and accommodating while we finessed our list and responded promptly to all of my emails. We had all the liquor we needed, delivered in plenty of time, and the cost was fair and reasonable. I doubt I'd ever host another large event without using FranksWine. Some nice wine choices not often found elsewhere, but I had to wonder. Great selection of amari, but the whisky choices were a bit thin and odd. Some names I have never seen elsewhere. That said, I live in PA where the liquor stores are owned and price controlled by the state. The prices are not low. When prices at Frank's are higher than PA state prices, I take exception at having to drive so far to spend more money. You have been warned.

Used Frank's for a 200+ person wedding this past Fall and had a great experience. Response time was great, return policy was fair, and prices were on point. Frank took the time to map out a suggested order for a party of our size based on past experience, but had no issues with alterations and special orders, including some rather hard-to-find Ginger Beer. Probably one of the few vendors that won't leave you feeling overcharged and underserved.

FranksWine is one of the best places for wine tasting in the Wilmington area. Their staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Weekends often include tastings of special wines with reps that really know the vinyard. Also check out their X selections for some very good prices on some great wines. If you are looking for a place to learn about wines, taste wines, as well as other spirits, and find some special values, this place is worth the trip!

We got Frank's through the caterer for my daughter's wedding. He made this part of the wedding planning the easiest. His communication was great and through email, making it much easier for me to get back to him when I could. He had great selections and suggestions for us and our guests. The payment process was also extremely easy, the pricing was extremely reasonable and the proposal that was written for us was very clear. They know a courier that they put you in contact with to make deliveries legally over state lines (we are in PA). The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. We can't thank him enough for making this process so easy!

The amount of knowledge they had regarding different types of affordable yet delicious wine was great, and their craft beer selection cannot be surpassed. They also offer a super convenient delivery service through a courier for an additional charge and offer to take back any unopened cases of beer or bottles of liquor/wine. Frank did an absolutely great job with our 10/2012 wedding! He was very easy to work with, and responded to all of my emails and inquiries very quickly. We attended one of the bridal open house events, which allowed us to get an additional 15% off our order, $100 credit, and a free bottle of wine! He also provided us with all the mixers and soft beverages which made it an easy one-stop for everything. We are very impressed with the prices, as well. Overall, it was a great experience and one of the easiest parts to plan!

This was my first experience purchasing alcoholic beverages for a large event. At the recommendation of the caterer, I contacted Frank. From the very first moment, he put my mind at ease. To say that Frank knows what he is doing would be an understatement. After determining how much alcohol will be needed, he gave me suggestions of brands, for which I was free to change. He also wanted to understand the crowd to make sure the brands would be fitting. I allowed Frank to pick the wines (4 different kinds), and they were wonderful! The amount of beverages was perfect with little wastage or leftover. Yes, you might find some cheaper prices for the same beverages that Frank's Union offers, however, if you are like me, and value personalized service at significant quality, relief of concerns in the face of a lot of other things to worry about, and dealing with a true gentleman, then for the few dollars or pennies difference, the decision on where to go is a no-brainer. I guess one could go to a large, national chain, but if you are like me, and haven't spent your life researching wines and other alcoholic beverages, and can use guidance, then go to Frank's, you will not regret it. And, while I bought a lot of alcohol for the event we were having, it is my intention you use Frank's Union for my future alcoholic purchases as I know I will receive the same service on a consistent basis.

Frank catered the alcohol for my daughters wedding last week. 160 people were in attendance, so it was a fairly large and diverse order. Different wines, different whiskies,several brands of beer, etc. The whole list was about a full page long. I was quite anxious about the order because the venue we used only allows alcohol deliveries the day before the wedding. So if anything went wrong, there would be no time to repair the damage. I am very happy to say that every item was included in the order, and I was much relieved when I took inventory of it. I can vouch for Frank's dependability. Frank also helped us determine how much of each thing we needed. His estimate was pretty good. We have some things left over, but Frank takes them back for a refund. We never came close to running out of anything. I found Frank's prices to be very competitive and he gave me a substantial discount for volume. I unhesitatingly recommend Frank's Union Wine Mart to anyone who has a large gathering of any sort. I know that I will be using him again.

This wine store has none of your run-of-the-mill average wines. If you're looking for over produced, common wines found in every other store. Don't go there. They carry less common but excellent wines that your mire knowledgeable wine drinker us familiar with. This is where you should go buy wine.

Getting our wedding wine and beer from Frank's was easy and cheaper than any other place we looked at. They made great recommendations and were fantastic to work with. We wanted to have local beer and wine for the area, and they helped find affordable options. They recommended how much to purchase, however, we knew we were going to have leftovers, so you can either return and get refunded or do what we did and keep it. We picked it up the day before after paying ahead of time, which was great - highly recommend!

The staff person also suggested a great signature cocktail which we used (champagne, St. Germaine's, and pomegranate juice) and now my wife is hooked on them. We told them what we wanted for the wedding and they directed us towards the affordable yet quality options for beer, wine, and alcohol. Frank also suggested a very affordable courier for delivery. I recommend Frank's to anyone who needs booze, and a lot of it. Frank assisted my husband and I for our wedding and the process was a breeze. There was no guess work and from experience he had a formula to get the correct amount of the correct stuff. Frank was not shy to tell me when I was wrong (and maybe even stingy) with some of my selections, and I'm glad I listened to him. We did have a few bottles of mixers (simple syrup, martini mix, vermouth) left over, as well as some extra rum and vodka, but hey - who could complain about a little "extra" vodka? If you don't know where to start, at least give Frank a call. Good luck!

Matt was waiting for us at the door with clipboard in hand and ready to go. He greeted my daughter, her fiancee, my wife , and I. Then he secured some wine glasses and we were on our tour. Matt was very infomative but allowed for plenty of questions and comments. He offered helpful suggests concerning price and quantity. Having vendors available to discuss the wedding arrangements was apprecaited. Some of the breads and cheeses we tasted along the way were very good. We purchased the bottles of the wines we chose for the wedding, just to be sure we liked them. The tasting day discount was appreciated. Matt indicated we had two months in case we wanted to change our minds. Of course by sticking with our original selections we would be certain the wine is in stock and wating for us. My wife was happy we accomplished so much in one visit, unlike some of the other aspects of a wedding planning. Being from out of town we mentioned going out to eat near the Wilmington waterfront. Matt suggested a restaurant which turned out to be very good. All in all, our trip to Frank's was a very productive and tastly day. Much apprecaited to all who contributed to the wedding tasting day event. The wedding was held on Saturday, June 28. The beverages arrived intact on the Thursday before. Between my initial visit and the wedding Frank and I had a couple of discussions about what to serve as the butlered beer and wine. I enjoyed our give and take conversations. Frank treated the wedding as if it was his own. One of our discussion turned out to be a real hit with the guests, Chimay Grand Reserve. Many of our guests had never tasted Chimay and serving it from the large bottles into snifter glasses just added to the expereince. People really liked the Iris Pinot Gris and the Hedges Red Mountain. Also, the Bailey's and Amaretto when added to coffee made the sips all the more enjoyable. Not all of the beverages were consumed and true to his word, Frank accepted any unopened bottles for credit. By the way, there was no Chimay to return. Thank you Frank and staff for contributing to wonderful day. Best wishes and continued success.

We also used Frank's for our wedding. He was great--so easy to communicate with by email and never minded when I asked lots of questions! My husband and I were really pleased with the selection at the store of beer and wine. I do have to say--I was under the impression that when we came for the tasting, we'd be able to taste whatever we wanted. That wasn't the case--it was whatever was open already. And no beers. But we could buy stuff at discount to take home and try.

We had Franks do a wine tasting for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party at The Delaware Center for Horticulture. They chose an excellent selection of whites, reds and beers. Their staff did a fantastic job of entertaining and educating everyone on what was being tasted. Our guests (over 100) really enjoyed the opportunity to taste an array of wine while feasting on delicious foods. Would recommend them for a private small event, or a large one like ours! Thanks!
