On 8/11 our daughter was married and the reception was at the Talamore Country Club near Ambler, PA. Strangers was the band and from the first note played, the dance floor was nonstop action. The energy exhibited in their music, the set list was spot on, and the compliments from family and friends told me this band made a great wedding celebration perfect. The decision to use BVTLive and book Strangers for this event was one of the best decisions made. Our guests are still telling me, several days later, it was an epic event. The music set the mood and Strangers delivered for us.

Our daughter got married on 10/20/18 at the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. She had worked previously at Martha Stewart Weddings and currently works at Philly Magazine; she really did her homework and knew exactly the type of band she wanted - one that already had rave reviews and a great reputation, and one that would have everyone on the dance floor. Best decision we ever made - worth EVERY penny!! (She actually chose her date based on Jellyroll's availability)Their pre wedding questionairre was very easy to complete and Kurt was a pleasure to work with. He was available anytime to answer questions and to discuss any special requests. They knew exactly what we wanted and are incredibly talented - they can play any song, any genre and you just want to watch, listen and dance all night long. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception - Jellyroll exceeded our expectations. Our only regret was not extending them for the after party.

My wife and I had BVTLive! entertainers Lou Lanza and his jazz trio as well as DJ Patrick at our wedding. They were fantastic to work with, from Kristen who coordinated the musicians to Lou and Patrick, who were professional on top of being great musicians. Everyone raved about the jazz trio during dinner and danced the night away to DJ Patrick's clever song mixing. We highly recommend BVTLive!

Dear Shavin & The Midnight Hour Band, Katelyn and I can not thank you enough for the EXTRAORDINARY performance that you guys delivered on our wedding night 6/30 @ The Waterworks. We could not have wished for a better sounding, more entertaining or more professional band. EVERYONE loved you guys! I can not tell you how many compliments we got about the band, but to put it modestly, there were too many to count. You guys made the difference in taking our wedding night from good to GREAT. Our families and friends are critical when it comes to rating bands and their performances, with that being said that you guys get a PERFECT 10! A few of our guests commented that you guys sounded so good and professional that many times throughout the night they thought that the actual recordings of the songs were being played, that is how much you nailed EVERY song! We can not thank you enough for making our wedding night the best and most fun night of our lives. Everyone danced ALL night long and EVERYONE couldn't get enough of The Midnight Hour Band! Lastly, Shavin was a GREAT band leader to deal with. He accommodated our EVERY request and made our wedding night more special than we ever could have expected. When we booked our band, Strangers, for our wedding on May 12, 2012, we never imagined how great they would make our celebration. A few weeks before the wedding with met the band director who really helped us plan the timing of the events at the reception. Their music, energy and presence truly made are day great. We hired Jellyroll to play at our daughter’s wedding reception. From the very beginning of the planning process every vendor we met recommended Jellyroll. They said they were the best band in the Philadelphia region. Kurt Titchenell, owner of BVT Live is a true professional. From the first planning meeting to the night of wedding everything went as promised. The dinner music selections were perfect and at the proper volume. After dinner the band packed the dance floor playing crowd favorites. Our guests complemented us on the music that evening and continued to rave about the band in the days following the wedding. Jellyroll is an outstanding band. We highly recommend them; they will make your event memorable!

Dave at Brandywine was a pleasure to work with. With his help we selected a DJ/Live mix which included a 3 piece jazz band to play during the ceremony and reception cocktail hour/dinner with a DJ to play during the party section of the evening. Tony from the band was easy to work with and even learned some new songs for our ceremony. DJ Bob was very professional and worked with our music preferences and was set up very early. He was classy and gave a wedding worthy performance not like a bat mitzvah (thought I am sure he could change his performance for an event like that). We had the absolute privilege of having “Big Ric Rising” perform at our reception and what a pleasure it was! Big Ric and his team approached the day and the weeks leading up to it with absolute class. Talking with Ric and Nils on the phone was like connecting with an old friend you haven’t seen in a while. Their energy and enthusiasm in making sure they had all of our wishes in mind carried over to the wedding day. If my wife didn’t look so stunning, I’d say Big Ric and his crew absolutely stole the show. From the moment we were introduced, our guests knew they were in for a party unlike any wedding they’ve attended before. They kept the dance floor packed for the duration of our reception. Ric’s voice and energy was impeccable, his accompanying singers were flawless and the band’s sound was amazing! All of our guests from our 12 year old cousin to our 90 year old Grandmother had nothing but compliments toward the band! Many of our soon to be married guests asked for their contact info to book for their big day, and I HIGHLY suggest you do the same! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

We had Big Ric Rising for an August wedding in '17, and Big Ric and the band were incredible ... from designing the wedding party entries, serving as "master of ceremony", and of course, GREAT dance music all throughout. Big Ric Rising isn't just A band...they are THE band. My daughter's wedding was made a truly special occasion because of the talent and professionalism of this crack ten-piece unit. Every single player was top notch - from the shredding guitarist to the killer rhythm section, to the fabulous horns and the world class lady singers. They didn't just play music, they gave a real PERFORMANCE worthy of a concert hall. And unlike many wedding bands, their sound mix was perfect. They were powerful but never too loud. And then there is Big Ric Minter himself. Ric is not only a singer without peer (don't miss his version of James Brown's "This Is A Man's World"...you'll never forget it.), but a true gentleman who does everything he can to please both his client and his audience. And in performance? WOW! He had everyone up and dancing all night, even those who normally wouldn't leave their seats. In addition, he has a wonderful sense of humor and soul to burn. I would recommend this wonderful ensemble to anyone who knows the difference between just good music and really GREAT music by a band and leader who really care about showing their client and their guests a great time. We could not be happier that we chose Strangers for our wedding! From the first time we saw them perform at a BVTLive showcase, they were so organized and easy to work with. They took care of all the music we needed- ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Denny and Rick are great at communicating and making sure all of the details fall into place. The day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about a thing. They were so professional and reliable when it came to arriving on time and getting set up. Not only was working with them so easy and fun, their talent and ability to work a crowd was truly something we will never forget. Our guests danced the entire night- including during dinner and dessert! Once the dancefloor was open, all of the tables in the ballroom were empty and the dancefloor was packed. When your 91-year-old grandmother is up dancing until after midnight, you know the band is doing something right! While our guests loved many things about our wedding, the band is something that is constantly mentioned. We even had guests asking for information about Strangers so they could book them in the future. Choosing Strangers was the best decision we made and we would recommend them to anyone who wants an unforgettable wedding or other special event!
