Awesome 10 feet wide pedestrian bridge between Hartford and East Hartford. Plus a sweet waterfront grassy hill to sit and watch the Connecticut River flow by.

And wonderful space provided in the heart of Downtown Hartford which is a little gem. It was relaxing and comfortable strolling around the riverfront area with walkways connecting into the Corporate Center. I was thrilled to discover this and will definitely be back for events now that I know about it. The views were spectacular and the setting was relaxing.

Withstanding the flooding period this is a great place to go and relax. The view is calming and the area is clean. If you are fortunate you can observe the students practising and learning a skilled and long standing sport.

It's a pleasant walk, keep going past the boathouse to find the path through the woods. Perfect for a bike, path will even work with road bike, not too ragged but dirt and grass.

The riverfront recapture is precisely that captivating the view on the walk bridge isnt only beautiful its kept clean by not only the people responsible for it's upkeep but also by the patrons and tourists alike...when you have a place to go in our neighborhood in this day and age that reminds you of the places you only get to see in vacation brochures it gives you a sense of pride..the riverfront is a place of belonging..and for me it creates a place of peace that tends to get lost in the day to day hustle and bustle...so go enjoy ....share if even for a moment the beauty that has been recaptured....
