I want to start off by saying how highly I recommend Deborah Minarik Events! My husband and I only had a three month timeline when we hired Deborah to plan and coordinate our wedding. We met within a few days of contacting her, and we loved her right away and didn't hesitate to bring her on board. She immediately gave us ideas and advised us every step of the way. On the day of, she and her staff were so attentive and professional and kept the day moving smoothly. We had the most beautiful, amazing day and we cannot thank her enough.

My mom said it best when she turned to me at the end of our wedding and said, “what would we have done without Janet?” Janet is the fairy Godmother you didn’t know you absolutely needed. We hired her as our day of coordinator, but she coordinated much longer than just the day of. She came with me to my last dress fitting to learn how to bustle, she was in constant contact, she kept in touch with all of our vendors and kept me posted on any changes that I wasn’t aware of. The day of the wedding, she was absolutely essential. She was my everything person. She made calls, she helped me with my dress (it did not fit - she pinned me into it!) she worked with the venue staff to make sure all was running smoothly, she knew when to check in with us and when to give a little space, and she packed everything for us beautifully at the end of the night. If I ever attempt a large event like this again, I will seek her out and I hope you will too.

I truly don’t believe my wedding day would have been as perfect if Deb wasn’t there to coordinate it all. She made me feel so relaxed throughout the entire day, and the day went by without a hiccup. Deb is a true professional and is there to help with even the smallest of details. We had a situation where my dress got really dirty during outdoor pictures. And Deb sprung into action to make sure it was cleaned up before the ceremony. She’s a master at what she does, and couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator to help me through my wedding day. Thank you so much Deb - I cant put into words how thankful I am to have had you there helping me through it all. You kept my nerves and my now husbands nerves calm and relaxed all day long. You’re the best! Thank you again!!!

I’m not usually a writer of reviews but I need to let the world know the most AMAZING experience I had with Deborah Minarik Events, especially with Janet Godfrey. My daughter came to me while we were planning her wedding and said “Mama, I think we need to get a wedding planner. I was not thrilled with that idea because I just saw more money going out the door. My daughter insisted that I just meet and speak to Janet and then I can make up my mind, so I did. I was having a few issues with some ideas for the wedding so I thought what a great time to see what she know before I hire her. Well Janet sat with me for 2 hours and gave me at least 15 different ideas on what I could do to solve my issues, all this time and ideas without even hiring her. I loved her personality and professionalism right away and I left that meeting feeling like I had known her forever. We hired her!! The next year in planning my daughter’s wedding with Janet was GREAT! I had an issue, I would call and she would give me options on how to fix whatever the issue was at that time or she would say to me don’t worry about it I will take care of it! The day of the wedding, THANK GOODNESS I HAD JANET! I was able to enjoy every aspect of my daughter’s day because Janet took care of EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING! If my daughter or new son-in-law needed something she was right there, if the venue had a question Janet was right there, if my husband wanted something she was right there, if someone went astray for pictures, she found them and brought them back. I worried about NOTHING!! I had such a great experience that I immediately referred her to a friend of ours that also hired her as soon as they met her to take care of their daughter’s wedding! Janet and Deborah Minarik Events was worth every penny and more! THANK YOU JANET FOR ALLOWING ME TO ENJOY ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE!! Stacey Johnson

Deb is seriously a miracle worker - I don't know how we could have pulled off our wedding without her. My husband and I decided on a 250-300 person backyard wedding at my sister's home. We had no idea how we were going to make it work with our time/space/budget, but Deb somehow made it happen for us! I'm so thankful that we had her with us for the last year to guide, support, and answer any questions we had, no matter how crazy! Every single time I had a question, Deb answered thoroughly, right away. My family, bridal party, and friends were so impressed by Deb and her entire team. Our wedding day was truly the best day, and it couldn't have happened without her, or them! I highly recommend DME to anyone having ANY kind of wedding, trust me it will be worth it!

I cannot say enough positive things about Debbie!! Not only is she personable, well-organized & a great listener—but she also single handedly saved my wedding from becoming a complete disaster. As soon as I put on my wedding dress, my sisters immediately noticed a large rip in the illusion neckline. I was already so stressed as is at that point that I basically went into a catatonic state. Within seconds, Debbie was applying body glue to my back & talking me off a ledge—all the while tending to the dozens of other day-of responsibilities on her plate. Her calming demeanor makes her perfect at what she does and I hate to even think about what I would have done had she not been there. Debbie was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! With her around, you don't have to think twice about a single thing. She is worth her weight in gold & I will continue to refer Debbie to all my friends & family in the future! She’s even doing my best friend’s wedding in a few months. Do not hesitate to book her immediately!

We used Deb as a DOC for our August 2019 wedding. She helped keep us on a time line and was very reassuring when it seemed we were running late. She helped with day of decorations at the venue and helped organize our family for the portraits with the photographer. She was aware of our vision and made sure the venue stuck to it. She was very pleasant to work with. She went beyond DOC duties in being available for meetings beforehand, via email and for a walk through.

Janet was amazing! I hired her as my day of coordinator and it was the best decision. Leading up to my wedding she helped me organize how the day would go and got all of the information of vendors and important people involved so I did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids complimented her as well and said that she was so on top of things. That day Janet made sure everyone was happy and managed what they needed. It really was a great piece of mind having her and I do believe it would not have gone as smoothly without her!

Janet Godfrey was hands down the best wedding coordinator I could have asked for. She went above and beyond the call of duty the months before the wedding and especially the day of. She met with me multiple times, gave me great advice on things, helped me stay on track with the timing of everything AND she saved the day when our welcome sign (from Etsy) was delivered broken a week before the wedding - she replicated the exact one I wanted. She also made an amazing seating chart and card holder for me to use the day of. She is super organized, punctual, thought of everything. She is also the NICEST person in the world. She is sweet and has a calm demeanor about her which is helpful when you are a stressed out bride!! haha. I could not have been happier with her and would recommend her without a doubt. I seriously don't think my wedding would have gone as flawlessly is she wasn't there : )

From the moment my fiancé and I hired Deborah we knew we no longer had to worry! Since day one she has been nothing but amazing. We had our wedding on Fire Island and the details that went into it were absolutely crazy and she kept me sane the whole time and always found an answer for our next situation. The day of our wedding she was calm the ENTIRE time. I don’t even know how she does that! All while staying so calm, she DID NOT miss a single beat. I woke up the morning after my wedding and couldn’t even believe how one person is capabale of doing as much as she did for us the day before. She cane with an actual suit case of every single thing a bride would need in case of an emergency. She ran up to the deli to get my nieces breakfast. The bridal part ran out of champagne and she comes walking back with bottles in her arms. She was with me from the moment I was getting ready in the morning till the moment my husband and I got to the house that night (she literally walked us home). This woman is actually super woman. My wedding wouldn’t have been a quarter of what it was without every last bit of her help. We can’t thank you enough Deborah!!

We were married in Montauk in September and I was referred to Deb by a friend. She was already booked for our date, but recommended that I work with her assistant Jenna, who she described as being very organized (she was right!). I ended up working with Jenna for day-of coordination - both Deb & Jenna were available for questions in the year leading up to the wedding. In the ~2 month period beforehand, Jenna and I worked closely together to develop a day-of schedule, confirm timelines with vendors, and work out all of the last minute details. While I consider myself extremely organized and planned most of the details myself, I didn't realize how much I would need Jenna's help in the preparation for the wedding and especially on the day of. She was available for all of my small, sometimes silly questions and made sure that I didn't have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. Hiring Jenna to help with coordination was worth every penny.

Janet Godfrey was my DOC and she was truly SUCH a blessing. We were in contact for several months prior to the wedding and Janet helped me with various tasks such as my hotel block, finding a chaplain, securing our honor guard with the chapel etc. She provided tip guidelines, reached out to all my vendors, and eventually worked with me to solidify my timeline. I live out of state, so we met in-person only once, several weeks before the wedding and for two hours she went over every single little detail with me. Where Janet really shined, was of course the day of. I can't express enough, that without Janet...our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect (and on time) as it was. Anytime anyone needed something, Janet was right there, with a smile on her face, a solution to the problem, and a water bottle with a straw just in case you were thirsty. Parents, groomsman, and bridesmaids ALL made comments to me about how "awesome" Janet was. I know there’s so much more that Janet did for us, a lot of things I’m not even aware of, but here are a few things I wanted to highlight: -I hated my bouquet. Janet drove back to the florist (where she had just come from) and had them remake it. -We forgot my fiancés military uniform, and realized on the drive to the chapel. Janet turned around and got it from the hotel. -I forgot the shoes I wanted to change into, and they magically appeared at the venue because Janet got them at the hotel. If you hire Janet, you will not need to stress or worry about anything and she will help make your day as wonderful and stress-free as she made mine. Thank you Janet!!!

Highly, highly recommend this vendor, don't even know where to begin!! We worked with Janet Godfrey from DME for our wedding and she was AMAZING. I can't imagine how our day could have come together and ran smoothly without her. Throughout the planning process she was there to keep us calm, on track, and make sure we were getting what we really wanted. She handled everything, literally everything, on our wedding day. The running theme with the bridal party for the day and night became #AskJanet because she had the answer to every question, and had what seemed like a Mary Poppins bag filled with literally anything and everything anyone needed for the big day. Not to mention she is so so sweet and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She also handled a MAJOR issue for us with our limo company on the day of our wedding. Without her there to handle this we would have had no transportation from the church to the venue due to an issue with the bus which was sent to us initially. The decor and beautiful touches she incorporated throughout the venue really made the big day feel like ours. Every bride has a vision for their day, but for us we simply didn't have the time to put it all together. Having Janet there allowed us to make our dreams a reality. Thank you DME and especially to Janet!

I had the absolute pleasure of having Deborah as my "day of coordinator" for my wedding on May 4th. From the moment my mom and I met Deborah at a bridal expo, we clicked right away. Even though I only had her as a "day of" wedding planner, she answered all my emails and questions from the day I met her on. She recommended my vendors, and confirmed that the vendors I already booked were fantastic. Most importantly, having Deborah allowed my mom and me to have the most relaxing and stress free wedding day. She contacted all my vendors, set up the timeline for the wedding day and organized all the tips and handed them out to the vendors. She was at my house from 11am and did not leave the wedding until I left on my bus back to the hotel at 12am. She was there every step of the way and I couldn't of been more grateful for her on the biggest day of my life! Even if anything went wrong that day, I had no idea because she took care of everything. When my husband was getting ready in the morning he realized the tuxedo place forgot his pocket square. Deborah told me not to worry, and immediately went out to her car and had an extra one for him. It was the small things, like that, that make her truly one of a kind. Coming from a bride who never thought of getting a wedding planner when I first started planning my wedding-- I HIGHLY recommend Deborah Minarik Events!!! Deborah made the wedding planning process enjoyable and fun. On top of her exceptional skills as a wedding planner she is a wonderful person and so easy to get along with!

Can’t say enough good things about Deborah. She made my life so easy leading up To my wedding once I booked her. The day of I didnt need to think about a thing. She was by my side taking care of everything and everyone from the morning of until the end of the night. She helped my venue with everything from decorations, to helping with the pictures to making sure I always had a drink in my hand. The best money spent during this whole wedding planning process. I was on the fence at first because my venue and a bridal attendant and a maitre d but SOOOO happy I decided to do it. She’s amazing. If you’re on the fence BOOK HER! You’ll thank me later.
