I have never seen sooooooo much food and Wine!!! and GOOD FOOD! antipasta, salads, pasta fagoli, meatballs and pasta, pasta primavera, roasted potato's, steak pizzaiolo. I did not stay for the deserts , but was told it was like another meal. I'm pretty sure we all reserved for next month already!!

I had my daughters wedding there 7/11/15. WOW!! Getting married at the gazebo was awesome! View is amazing from the hill. Cocktail hour delicious and plenty of it. Dinners were delicious. Guests were complementing me all day on the beauty of this place and delicious food. Not one complaint from this experience. Staff was right on the ball. When my husband and I were looking at wedding venues last year, we immediately fell in love with the grounds and ballrooms at Aria. Even the lobby and common areas are absolutely stunning. After meeting with a sales manager, we were pleasantly surprised that their quotes included price per person WITH tax and tip, which we really appreciated. Because we didn’t necessarily get the date we wanted (we had limited options without going into the following year), Aria even gave us free up lighting and a free dessert. We got married on Friday, April 13th, 2018. While we were setting up the ballroom the day before our wedding, Joe (the owner) stopped by to make sure everything was okay. Although we knew it was early to have the fountains on, we asked Joe if he could get them to work. Sure enough, on our wedding day, the fountains and waterfall were running! We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous day (sunny and 70 degrees!) and the fountains just added to the beauty of the day. Joe was even present on our wedding day to congratulate us, and he checked in with us multiple times. Aria completely exceeded our expectations. We knew the food would be excellent, but the service was phenomenal as well. We had some special requests to speed up the process of the courses so that our guests could spend more time on the dance-floor, and Aria was more than accommodating. Not only that, but our guests were amazed at how each time they returned to their table, their napkin was formally placed at the setting. Our butler, Miguel, kept the room running smoothly and Chrissy, our bridal attendant, went above and beyond to make sure we always had a drink in hand (including our parents). We were so appreciative of her checking in on us and helping us get through the night smoothly. The delicious food, gorgeous ballrooms/grounds, and outstanding hospitality from EVERY employee (including the owner, Joe) make Aria, hands down, the number one best wedding venue in Connecticut!

I just attended my second wedding reception at Aria and I can honestly say I hope it is my last. This is an aesthetically gorgeous facility with beautiful granite floors, elaborate ceilings and a beautiful stairwell into the grand ballroom. Unfortunately the acoustics are at the opposite end of the spectrum. The hard surfaces and all the reflection points of the architecture set up an echo chamber that made it impossible to understand the priest when he blessed the food or the Maid of Honor/Best Man when they gave their toasts. The music was so intensified by the acoustics that we are hoarse from trying to shout to the other guests at our table. Now if I had only experienced this once I would have blamed the DJ or his equipment but since this experience has now been repeated I have to blame the architect. A nice job with the way the place looks but a real downer for the critical overall ambiance that makes a wedding resection great.

Simply a gorgeous facility. We had an office Christmas party here and I must say the Aria is by far my favorite place to hold it. The grounds are beautiful with everything from the exterior appearance to the clean bathrooms. The food is wonderful and came out quickly. The drinks were very good and service was quick which is impressive seeing as there were only 2 people bartending. I highly recommend the Aria to anyone in need of a great venue. Everything about the Aria just screams quality and I look forward to next year's Christmas party.

Beautiful banquet facility...appetizers were fabulous, layout allowed for 240 people to mingle without bumping into each other. Facility is clean, bright, well-maintained. Dance floor is big enough to accommodate all! Double staircase to the ballroom is grand and allows for memorable entrances. Exterior is welcoming, beautifully landscaped and adds to the overall top-notch beauty and appeal of Aria. Staff was wonderful.

I toured Aria potentially for my wedding.. They scheduled a tour for me while a party was about to begin. My future husband and I were dreading going to Aria because we simply knew that we were going to fall in love, and despite all of the terrible reviews and personal experiences we have heard we still decided to go. Upon walking in to Aria we were in awe, but arriving to the front desk to check-in, the women was very short worded and simply rude, she walked away from us at least three times. My fiancé and I looked at each other, as he seen the look on my face he said lets leave, I told him let's just give this place the benefit of the doubt and let's continue the tour. We were greeted, and showed around the first ballroom, the ballrooms are large and stunning. Everything down the dance floor was elegant and beautiful. The stairs were gorgeous and even the bridal room was very nice. As we walked outside, I simply stated how important a scenic view is to us, and we really liked the outside. Nothing was said.. Usually if you are trying to sell and present a place for someones wedding you would touch on the things that are important to them instead we were just spoken over. The only time we felt we were given some what of "good customer service" was when pricing was being discussed. I spoke to many people that have held events at Aria and I have done plenty of research, I know the prices which is why we agreed to tour. I have always heard that the food is amazing, but all of guests were rushed to eat. I liked this place so much we even considered doing a buffet instead of plated as much as I am against it. Being a bride, the last thing you want to worry about is your guests not feeling comfortable, and not being treated right. Walking through the facility, I heard how the employees and coworkers would speak amongst each other. Every one is just flat out rude, that is in the best terms I can put it. We left so dumb founded it wasn't even funny. With such a stunning place you would think the people inside would be the same, focus on your needs and provide help. Aria was everything I thought it would be, and I really hoped it wouldn't be. We truly planned on having our day here but after our experience we refuse to give this place any of our money. As difficult of a decision it was, we looked else where. We found a place with not as much of beauty compared to Aria, but the people inside are angels. That is what's most important about finding a place to start your beginning of forever with someone. Customer service is what is going to keep any business afloat. Planning a wedding is very hard, I can not even imagine dealing with having to explain my dreams and wishes with multiple Maitre D' because they have plenty of turn over there. I strongly suggest if anyone has any interest in this place, to bring in your own caterer along with their staff.

Attended a ceremony and wedding reception a couple of weeks ago at Aria. From a guests point of view wedding & reception was perfect. This was a very large reception over 300 probably and the staff was very attentive to each table, services was perfect, drinks were excellent and food was wonderful. I didn't hear anyone complain about anything.

The scenery and atmosphere alone makes Aria a perfect place to have any special event! The food was amazing, although I wish I could say the same about the staff. Specifically the bartender, Domenic was extremely rude and off putting. When ordering a drink for my grandmother, and then wanting one for myself he said “Didn’t I just make you a drink.” Then later on I asked for more of something and he laughed at me and said “Do you have any idea how expensive this usually is”. This was an open bar and we tipped extremely well. His comments were off putting and made me no longer want to go up for drinks. Other than the bartender Aria was extremely enjoyable for both party guests and the newlyweds. Thank you Aria!

Went to a wedding over the weekend here and wow. What a great banquet hall. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The entire building was very well kept. The ceremony was held outside next to a beautiful fountain.

Had two weddings there which my wife and I attended two weeks apart. Where do I begin? Food was horrible. Service was even worse. First wedding: The baked stuffed shrimp came out cold. Second try on the shrimp wasn't any better came out cold again!!!!! Second Wedding: I ordered the filet. Ordered it medium rare. Came out beyond well done. Sent it back and got a raw piece of meat. The other thing that I found to be odd is your servers do not introduce themselves, and don't seem to be around when you need them. The place is beautiful and I know that they have been offering some aggressive packages to attract new customers, but their service leaves something to be desired.

From day one Aria has made planning my day seamless. Everything was executed to complete perfection. All of the meetings catered around my schedule, and their staff was friendly and responsive. Nothing beats their elegant decor and beautiful gardens. The on-site fountains added an extra magical element to my day. They helped me not over think things and made sure I knew what was going on at all times to help keep me stress free. My bridal attendant Krissy was so wonderful, attentive, and professional. I could not have asked for a better person to help me through my special day. My Husband and I were married on June 9th, 2019 and every one of my guests has said it was the most beautiful and most fun wedding they have ever been too. While all of my vendors made my happily ever after a reality, I haven't had one complaint about anything, only extremely positive feedback on the food and service. Aria was the perfect place to exchange our vows and celebrate our love. I wish we could get married all over again. I have not only been a guest at weddings at Aria - but I have sold to many couples that had their wedding there over the years. The location is super pretty - it is up in the hills and I was there the last time when the leaves were turning and it was absolutely beautiful. I love their outdoor patio and grand staircase - as well as seeing the wedding party upstairs in the wrap around (I had one bride that invited me and two more of my bride's and husband's were in the wedding party so it was a real treat to see them all together) - In any event - the staff was on top of things - the food was good - the venue pretty and bright (newly built not even 10 years I think) - in any event a great location especially if you have a large wedding - they can handle a decent amount of people. Spacious!

Because Mr. Geloso's word is not to be trusted, his statement to me and the Prospect Planning & Zoning Commission on June 19th 2013 Approved Minutes " Mr. Geloso stated that he will be amending his contract to prohibit customers from having fireworks at their functions ". Copy of these minutes are available for viewing at the Prospect Town Hall . I have spoken and written to Mayor Bob on several occasions and he has assured me that he would rectify the use of Firework Displays at Aria but nothing has changed . The noise is disturbing not only to the residents and their animals in my neighborhood, but also to the surroundig Waterbury neighborhoods. I would hate to believe that Mr. Geloso's words and apology were not truthful; he appeared to be an honest man and I trusted that he would follow through with his word........

For a weeks, both myself and fiancé had visited the top named venues in CT and finally had the opportunity to visit Aria. The appointment setting for Aria was seamless and time slots are convenient to anyone's work schedule. The venue is up to date and provides two ballrooms with more than enough space and overall great atmosphere. The presentation was TOPS compared to all the other venues but ideally our presenter, LOREDANA SOUCY, exceeded our expectations and provided total flexibility for our needs unlike the other top venues! Loredana went out of her way to make sure that we had a nice thorough walk through of the facility and went above and beyond with accommodating our requests. Other venues would say no, Loredana said yes. She was one of the main reasons why we picked this venue for our wedding, sales managers like Loredana are rare now a days and I would recommend any couple to visit Aria and SPEAK WITH LOREDANA, she will make it happen. Thank you Loredana!!

The staff can use a lesson in at least putting a smile on their faces!!! I'm 61 and have been to many wedding as a former DJ I've been to hundreds at many different facilities. The ballrooms are absolutely beautiful. I found from the girl who greeted us at door to the bartenders were extremely rude through out the whole night. The happy hour food was delicious. The main course the steak and the chicken were very dry. They come around and ask you how you want your steak cooked why I don't know? Because everyone at my table got a dry medium well shoe tough steak. The first time I was there last year I would of gave Aria 5 stars. Everyone was pleasent and the food was delicious. I would hate to think that the huge difference had anything to do with the first wedding that I went to there it was a white couple getting married. My bad experience the couple was black! Also it seemed obvious to me that the liquor was wattered down. But after i tipped the bartenders a $20 they started pouring my drinks from the bottles in back of them! Again this is only my opinions and observations. Teach your staff how to smile even if they are not happy!!!

I just had my junior prom here last night. Overall amazing night. great scenery and environment. Ballroom B was stunning. My only problem was the food. Not even close to good. I have heard from multiple people that the food here wasn’t so great and they were correct. They also told me they ran out of coke not even an hour into the prom. so they offered me water, 7 up or cranberry juice. Who runs out of coke at a highschool prom. I am coming back next year for my senior prom and i hope the food improves.

No place is perfect. There will be some who've had a less than pleasant experience at Aria and many other banquet halls too. But for me having videotaped many weddings there I have to give them a five star rating. Food, decor, staff all excellent. It is one of the few places in Connecticut that I enjoy working in.

Food was phenomenal and atmosphere very elegant for my daughter’s wedding. A concern I had was that I was not asked ahead of time how I wanted the wedding cake served. The maitre’d ,’ Michael,’ who oversaw the event asked the bride in the midst of the dj playing if she wanted a cake station. She barely knew what he asked, heard the word ‘station’, and agreed. I don’t think the bride or groom should have been bothered with decisions that evening. Had he come to me, I would have definitely said I wanted the cake served. We ended up with a huge amount of cake that had to be thrown out because guests were not aware it was there. Also, some did not know there was a Venetian Table. Yes, the dj did announce it was there, but it would have also wise for the waitstaff to inform each table. Also I did not think the maitre’d was very experienced or visible, and while I understand his job is to oversee the entire evening, other people who have hosted weddings have told me they NEVER had to go searching as I did for their maitre’d. One of the bartender wrote on a piece of paper her name, address, email and phone number roll into dollar bills for my husband. Who the hell does that. I was there for a sports banquet done on a budget, service was buffet with cash bar and I really can't complain about anything except that when I was there they had some construction work being done on the fountain out front, but it was too cold to stand out in front of the fountain for photos anyway.

THE OUTSIDE AREA HAD A BRIDGE WITH STREAMING WATER UNDERNEATH, GRASS AREA GREEN AND FRESH, OUTDOOR GRILL ON THE DECK. THE WEDDING WAS IN BALLROOM A WITH A FULL BAR, KITCHEN AREA, DUAL STAIRCASE IN WISHBONE SHAPE, DANCE FLOOR WITH PLENTY OF TABLE SPACE FOR DINING WERE YOUR CHAIR ISN'T TOUCHING YOUR NEIGHBORS CHAIR. (LOL) ROOMS UPSTAIRS WHICH I DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO VIEW, GLASS WINDOW ON ONE SIDE OF THE ROOM THAT IVER LOOKED THEY VALLEY. I was very disappointed. All hype about this place. Yes it’s pretty to look at but nothing over the top. The food was extremely disappointing and below average and most importantly the staff is rude and not helpful or interested in providing anything above the bare minimum as a status quo. I would never pay to throw an event at Aria much less ever return beyond extreme obligation. Don’t waste your money.

My wife and i attended an event at Aria. This is her experience in her words: "While the location was beautiful, some of the staff members were very unprofessional! While attending an elegant wedding on Friday, October 26, 2018 I needed to use the ladies room. It was not easy to find (had to walk through two sets of double doors, following the Exit signs) I finally came across the restrooms. There was an attendant standing in front of each restroom entryways, one a male and the other a female. Since the restrooms were hard to find, I assumed that the female attendant was standing in front of the ladies room (both attendants were blocking the signs) so I smiled at her an entered the restroom. It was not until I was heading to the sink to wash did I notice men in the restroom. The attendant led me into the mens room!! When I approached her at the door and asked why she didn't stop me, she laughed and mentioned they had been drinking. It was a cruel joke and I was the butt of it. Not appreciated AT ALL. I was mortified and very embarrassed. I hope never to go back and that others read this and chose a different location."

From the moment we visited Aria for the first time until the end of our reception, I have nothing but good things to say. The process of planning a wedding with them was extremely easy and their team was well trained in how to handle large events. Our attendant for the night was Besa and she was unbelievably good at what she does. She got us drinks all night and came and got us for cake cutting and assembled our 20+ person wedding party for everything. There was not one thing that I would have changed about my wedding and I owe a lot to the team at Aria for making it an unforgettable night! Our guests have not stopped commenting on how good the food was for the cocktail hour and how they loved the dinner course. We had guests come in from all over the country and they raved about how beautiful the gardens and ballroom was. I would highly recommend this venue!!

I had a bridal shower for my daughter on Saturday. Everything was perfect. The staff was remarkable. They were unobtrusive but the minute you need something they were there as if they anticipated that you would need something. The food was simply amazing. For many of the ladies present this was their first visit to Aria. There was not a negative comment. For those considering ordering a cake instead of going with Aria's cake. Stay with Aria's.. The cake was amazing. I can't tell you how many guests asked where we had gotten the cake. Everything was perfect. I honestly sat back the next day and tried to think of one thing that was wrong. Happy to report not one thing. Lina checked on us at the start and after that Sergio took extraordinary care of us. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

Came to the Aria for a friend's wedding. Very beautiful! The cocktail hour was incredibly delicious! The dinner was good, I had a medium well done steak. The dinner needed more of something but it was good!

Overall I am very disappointed by the service given by Aria. The guest were rushed. No time given to eat. The staff collected all the un open wine bottles from the table long before the event was over. I requested to get back one of the bottles taken from my table so that we could pour staff stated to me "that's what the bar is for". Now concering. Food. Aria food was limited and did not set plates for all the seats. Regarding taste of the main course I love food but for the first time i did not want a second bite. Regarding seenary : the interior design of the building was beautiful and kept clean. In conclusion based on experience I hope they give a partial refund back to the bride and groom. Over all I give F+. The place was beautiful but i wouldn't recommend unless getting your own personal catering company to go there.

WOW. We never could have dreamed of a better place for us to celebrate on our wedding day. Our "Big Fat Greek-Italian Wedding" had over 250 guests, but "Ballroom A" allowed for all of our guests to sit, stand, and dance comfortably. With family and friends traveling from all over the United States and Canada, we wanted to make sure that they had a great time at our reception. Aria has broken the mold. Aside from the beauty of the venue itself, the staff was empathetic, friendly, and supportive throughout the wedding planning process. On our wedding day, my bride and I were treated like royalty. Aria assigned members of the staff to be there for us for everything from drinks to lighting. The quality of the food was phenomenal. You could have sliced the filet mignon with a fork! Since our wedding day, we have been showered with compliments expressing how gorgeous the wedding reception was. And the photos...my God, the photos! Make your photographer happy and choose Aria. Look no further. If Aria is on your list, it should be the only one on it!

I can't say enough good things about this place! We had our daughter's wedding reception on June 15, 2019 and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is amazing! They made us feel like we were family and went above and beyond in every way possible! As native New Yorkers, we were skeptical about having a wedding in Connecticut, but Aria turned out to be just as good, if not better, than any New York wedding hall. The Geloso family works hard to give their guests everything they need. Our daughter's wedding reception was perfect in every way! I highly recommend Aria as the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion! You will not be disappointed!

My sister held her wedding here. All of the staff was extremely attentive and helpful throughout the whole day. It started raining on us during the ceremony and they pulled out umbrellas for everyone. Also the steak was to die for!!! We were wondering where the steak knives were but come to find out you could cut the steak with a butter knife. WOW!!!!
