Obviously your experience will depend on the act you're paying to see, but the venue is incredible. Do your best to buy into the VIP section where you can watch comfortably and have your drinks and food brought in. Sound was awesome. Great vibe. Easy parking. Whole package.

Thought might be a great place to celebrate a birthday for my son turning 19. Made reservation 5 days in advance. Asked for low table, but upon arrival said could only accommodate on the elevated table. The live music was nice. The food for the prices wasn't that great. My son did get the Jucy Lucy burger and liked it. But the flat bread was cold when they brought it and the shrimp appetizer had only 5 small ones.

Seen blue October and was one of the most memorable nights of my life!! Had some issues with my tickets not being accepted (bc it was a 3rd party seller) but they politely explained it to me and put me 1st in line to buy new ones and even gave my bank a statement to get my money refunded from the 3rd party website (viagogo)

So much fun! Great food, great service, long island iced teas are very good! And the venue is really cool. Great acoustics. We saw the wanted and bds... both cover bands were wonderful! Just know that the restaurant is separate from the venue. So plan plenty of time in advance if u wanna eat and see the show.

Went to see Rumors Band preform and Tom Petty cover band and had a great time. First time here. This is located right near Disneyland. Great location but found General Admission is nice but hard to stand that long! 3 hours free parking which is nice and only $3 an hour after that. Park on 4th floor of parking structure and it's right there!

I'm glad to say that I am very happy that they had relocated. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was top of the line. I will definitely be coming back here. It was nice to not have the building smell like cigarettes. And have the smoking section further away from the building. This House of Blues was very clean after walking around after the concert

We went and saw a tribute to Soul. If you want a seat you need to get there a couple hours early or you can pay $40 to $70 for a table per person. When you enter you're not allowed to leave and come back. The drinks are okay but a bit pricey. I'll be going back next week to see, Original Riot, a great band.

Been to several House of Blues and this one has been the best so far. Friendly servers. Great music as always, and food was good. After visiting the Vegas one we decided to return for music but not to eat at one again, glad we gave Anaheim HOB a try. Granted I choose a salad, but ingredients were fresh, kids ordered loaded fries and demolished every bite!

This is one of the best medium-sized venues in the area in my opinion. As far as the convenience of the location, I drive in from inland so whether a show is in LA, Anaheim or Santa Ana it really makes no difference to me. The venue is well kept and the sound and stage are fairly optimal. They lose a star for their practice of offering a special early-entry line for people who spend enough money ($30/each I think) at the restaurant or gift shop before the show. Personally, I think all ticket-holders should have equal opportunity at a GA show, but I'm an egalitarian and am terrible at capitalism. Still, even with cutsies for the rich folk, it's easy enough to secure a good spot to watch the band. Also, don't forget to get your parking validated!

Definitely miss the HOB on Sunset but this venue doesn't ever disappoint. It's close to downtown Disney so you can always head over there before the show for a drink and some food. The sound here is always good

We did the VIP upgrade to the founders level for a show. It was worth the $50 for the seats, service, and lack of crowd! Overall the new location is better than the downtown Disney location as parking is better and covered. Staff was friendly throughout the venue. Was a great place to see a show!

Awful service. First time here for a concert. Ordered food. The bartender made a mistake and gave my food to someone else. Just said “it is not my fault, you have to wait”. After asking 3 times for my food I asked for an explanation, hoping for some customer service. After 46 minutes, grilled cheese and fries should arrive. No explanation, just not “my fault.” The female bartender (with fake flowers on her head and slow as a tortoise) and her managers ( one step higher than her) lack customer service skills. Her response “ do you want a glass of wine?” Missing the point of customer service and assuming that a free drink would make me feel better. Basically, assumptions grounded in ignorance. I have never seen such a deviation from service. I really thought that this place would have better people working and trained in good service. This is a venue which should care about customers, especially first timers.

House of misery would be more accurate. Show up at 6, enter at at 7, standing room only, Ian act starts at 10. 5 hour of standing is not what I am going to pay for twice. Over crowded bar service plus you don’t want to leave and lose spot on floor to get drink or go to bathroom. Sound quality was bad and I am not that picky

We went To HOB before the Selena cover band show. We saw an employee doing something that we thought was not food safe, so we mentioned it to our server. Our server immediately went and got Jeremy who came right out to address our concerns. He is a total professional, and made sure the situation was dealt with and that we were satisfied that the employee understood what our concerns were. Jeremy went above and beyond ,his customer service skills are exemplary and we will be back!! Thanks for a great experience HOB!

Wow! Great venue! So much room inside. Would love to see many more shows here. We went early and had happy hour before our show. Comfy couches inside near the main bar. We were near the doors and they let us sit in the reserved area and the view was perfect. Lots of flat screens around to watch the band!

Very new, large (largest HOB I've been to), clean, plenty of bars, and a good floor plan for shuffeling folk in-n-out.. My only, all much very important to me, complaint is the audio. You pretty much have to be mid-floor to not have the audio sound/feel hollow. If you leave to to grab a beer (just to the side of the main floor) and would like to have a few swigs of your drink so it doesn't get smashed in the crowds, you pay for it in hollow audio. Or in the event this place is packed, you may be forced into one of these locations. For such a nice venue I'd imagine that it would have considered this.

I went at the end of May to the restaurant and had a terrible experience with Luis Martín the manager of sorts of the place. I went using their promotional coupon because I had purchased a lot of them due to the fact that I had enjoyed the place on number occasions and wanted to come back. I never expected to be treated as rudely as I was for the manager. I felt humiliated as I felt that he accused us of trying to scam the restaurant in some way. He was discrete and was loud enough for everyone around us to hear that he was having issues processing our cards. Just the mere fact that a manager had to come out was ridiculous without sending the server back to verify at least once was embarrassing. I hope you don’t treat everyone like this... these are given out as a way to get people in you restaurant not turn them off by your restaurant. Food was not good this time, dumped a few fries next to my burger, maybe 12 and then second time they run out of ice tea... at a southern style restaurant. Will not be back. Wouldn’t wish the embarrassment in my worst enemy.

Only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I validated my parking ticket which added an additional 2hrs to the 1hr free parking that is offered but once we got out, it took like 30min to get out of the parking structure so I ended up having to pay for parking.

LOVE the House Of Blues! Great venue, standing room only to to where you feel like a sardine sometimes. But you can plan on experiencing some excellent live music! And all of the other people joining you have the same good energy for a FABULOUS night! They have a wine bar, they have lots of regular bars (3-4), they have an upstairs balcony, & they have VIP sections with chairs and tables, otherwise it is a standing-room-only kind of joint. Wear comfortable shoes & be prepared to have a lot of fun!

Loved the vibe and the music. Ordered one of their fancy drinks, but was very disappointed because they didn’t have a lot of the ingredients listed on the menu, so it was a lot more basic than promised (apparently at that point in the night, they had run out). The pasta with chicken had a handful of tiny pieces of chicken which were hardly noticeable, so it was basically just a $17 plate of vaguely flavored noodles. The bread pudding dessert with ice cream, however, was amazing. Certainly worth returning for.

Took the entire family here for mother's day and had a really good time. The service offered here is outstanding and on point. Not once did I feel like the employees didn't enjoy working their and servicing our party. I called in advanced to reserve a table and the receptionist let me know everything would be ready when we showed, and it was. The food was absolutely delicious and hot. The kids were screaming for fries so instead of waiting for all the food they brought them out first which was really nice. My meat was cooked to perfection and everything we ordered turned out good so explore where you usually don't eat and I'm sure you will be surprised.

Staff was great. Bands were awesome!!! There was disability seating. The high stools were great for seeing over the general admission standing room, but were painful to sit in through the entire concert. I'm not complaining, though because it was a free concert. I won the tickets. The drinks were the normal price for a bar. They even had gluten free options!

My wife and I came to see Billy Currington and had a terrific time. We parked in the underground lot beneath the mall. Extremely easy to get in and a close walk via elevator to the venue. It's $3 and hour, however, if you bring your parking ticket in with you they have a couple of stations that allow you to validate your ticket for 2 free hours. The venue itself is small and intimate making for a great concert experience. There is a large sunken wood floor that's standing room only. Surrounding that is plenty of area for standing room and 2 bars, one on each side. These 2 bars are your go to because everyone thinks the entry bar is the only one and the line is ridiculous. You can order a few different appetizers from the bar if your hungry. I ordered chicken strips and garlic fries which were pretty good. You can purchase an upgrade to the balcony once your in but not sure it's worth it because your already close to the stage. The balcony does have seats so that might be an option. There was a long line when we arrived outside the venue but once they start doing security checks the line goes fast. I highly recommend catching a concert here.

Excellent food and service really impressed with the restaurant and the server we had Haas really helpful and informative of the menu. I had the fried chicken hands down the best I have ever had so delicious. The music was also fab really added to the atmosphere. Menu was good and the drink choices was also good again would recommend this over going to downtown Disney for food.

The House of Blues Sunday Gospel Brunch was awesome! This was our second time seeing it. So much fun! Great music, great food and great venue! Please be aware that the House of Blues has moved so if you haven't been there in a while Google it because you don't want to end up at the old place it's about a 20-minute walk from there. There probably isn't a bad seat in the house but of course if you can get on the main floor that's always best.

Such a cool venue!! How many concert venues have full bars with food? Come early if you want to grab a seat in the back to eat, as its standing room unless you pay higher VIP tickets. There are monitors recording so if you are eating during the live concert in the back, you can still watch the whole performance! My best friend who is 4'11" did this towards the end of the show since she couldnt see the stage from the back. Great vibe, lights, food, and energy!

I love this place for concerts! There is a lot of room, but it still has that up close and personal feel. I've seen a couple shows here now, and have not been disappointed. The sound is great, and the drinks are good (average price for events). Best of all, if you bring in your parking ticket, they validate parking! I've never gone to a concert with free parking before.

I made a reservation on Open Table for 4 however it was not busy when we arrived at 5pm. There was live music at 5:30 and it was very entertaining. Justin was our waiter and he was so attentive, easy going, fun, high energy, friendly and overall best waiter I've had in many years. He recommended the BBQ so we went with the BBQ family platter that feeds 4 for $70. It was well worth it because it was more than enough and BBQ was delicious. Cornbread was hot out of the oven and it was the right kind of crunch on top and soft in the middle. Corn on the cob was so flavorful! Dessert was to die for.. Bread pudding was like no other..its a must so get it! Forgot to mention the bartender accommodated me by making a drink that was off the menu and it was so good...wish I got her name so I could have thanked her personally. Overall experience was a 5 star

Came to watch a Prince tribute band. Venue is in my opinion a good size for shows. The only downside is that it's hard to get into the parking structure. It's not very visible from the outside. If you know where you are going then it's fine. The sound system had a bit of trouble with feedback when the mic was pointed to the crowd, but otherwise it was good. Overall there's a good vibe, and I would definitely be interested in seeing another show here.

Stopped in for drinks and dinner before heading to Disneyland after dark. We were seated at the bar where we enjoyed great service and great drinks. The food came out quick and tasted great. Everyone around seemed to enjoy their food as well. They have a smoker in house so their BBQ is on point.

I really enjoyed this new venue. I use to go when it was in Downtown Disney. I feel like since they moved to the Anaheim Garden Walk.. they are able to have better bands. Possibly being in downtown Disney was holding them back from certain acts. I went and saw The Blues Traveler. Its standing room only. So be prepared to be on your feet. We parked in the structure... it was convenient. The 1st hour was free then 3 dollars every hour after. When it came time to pay... the attendant asked what we were there for and he asked to see our bracelets from the venue and I showed them. Ended up paying only 3 dollars for the night. So that was a plus. The elevator situation was weird because it was blocked off. So we had to take the elevator to level 2 get off and then go up the escalator to level 4. All and all it was a great night.

This was the first time I sent to the Anaheim HOB since they relocated to the Anaheim Garden Walk. The venue is very nice with an open restaurant that has a small stage. When we went for dinner there was a local artist playing acoustic covers. The food was better than it ought to have been, do that was a very nice surprise. The waiter was very nice and talkative which might annoy some people. We were there to attend a show in the parish room which is small and intimate. And if love to see another small group there; maybe even get to play there myself someday.

We decided to have dinner at the House of Blues Anaheim before a concert and we had Kyle as our server. Very nice guy. He offered suggestion on drinks and plates, but never pushed or up-sold us on anything. And the food is actually really good! He was very attentive, but didn't hover around or rushing us. It's nice to go out and have a pleasant time and feel like the waiter is actually enjoying your time and not just fishing for tips. We'll definitely go back for dinner...and we'll request Kyle's station.

We went during a down time, honestly the food could have used some help. The Carolina Messy Fries were great but the Juicy Lucy was rather dry and the chicken fried steak couldn't hold its batter. Otherwise the live entertainment was great as well as the drinks. But the real reason for the 5 stars was Brett our server. The guy was great at suggesting things and being attentive, give that guy a raise!

Everyone that works here is so nice, surprisingly and unbelievably nice. We drove down on a Thursday after work, but before we left we called to check set times to make sure it was worth the trip. Adriana not only answered our questions but was very genuine and kind. The bartender was also great when I ordered food and drinks. I love that they serve food during the shows, and the prices are so reasonable, especially considering it's a bigger corporate venue. It was definitely worth the trip from LA, and those two interactions made it that much better.

This is the new location. It was moved from Downtown Disney. To be honest the remodel is alot better here. Very cool. We went up to the lodge level at our last show it was well with it. The upgrade was 50 per person. Came with a server and 10% food.

The food was delicious! My daughter and I shared the Juicy Lucy...YUM...For an adult drink I had the Frisky Whiskey, again...YUM. Love the atmosphere, food was delivered quick, and service was great. We missed the live music by just a few minutes. That was the only bummer.

Always a great venue. A little pricey on the alcohol, but drunk music lovers will pay anything to drink at a concert, so why not charge that much. Highly recommend the venue

So I've been here a few times. Seen New Found Glory, State Champs, Mayday Parade and New Kids on the Block at this location. The parking is affordable. The lines can be cut if you get there early and eat at the restaurant or just have 2 beers. The beers are way too expensive but it is what it is. The BBQ platter is no where near as good as some say it is but the burger is awesome. Service is awesome but go with the quick $30 food item and cut the line. Also the upgrade to vip for a show. I paid $50 and sat down for the whole show and it was great. Just hate the people who think they are camera guys who get in your way to take a photo and have to take a look at it as well.

The parking structure sucks. If you could Uber in, do it. The venue is typical of any house of Blues: intimate but not really. So like better than Five Point Amphitheatre but not great as a Chain Reaction/Troubadour. Drinks are pricey. Good is ok and in small portion. Sound is great. Lighting is excellent. The shows themselves are great. I feel like the dining area takes you TOO far back under the second floor. For what it is, 4 stars. It's a chain. Can't expect to NOT be gouged. PS: I liked this HOB when it was at downtown Disney like 35% more than now.

I like this place. The only thing is VIP area behind the bar is kinda far from the stage so you don't really see what's going on and people who don't pay VIP have the nerve to go sit in that area when they're not even paying for that service and they even get mad that security ask them gently to leave the area

Surprisingly impressed with the food/drinks and atmosphere of this place! It is loud when they have live music (which I think is often) so don't expect to have intimate conversations.. but it has good vibes all around. Staff is very attentive and make great recommendations on food and drink pairings. Plus if you are seeing a show in the main hall, as long as you spend $35 per person before coupons and tax at dinner... They will give you a free "cut the line" pass!

I love coming here. The staff is always pleasant and they book great acts. I've helped my friend who hosts a few events here and their hospitality is top notch. The security take their jobs seriously while being kind to the guests. I feel really safe knowing that they thoroughly check everyone before entering. The sound quality is also excellent and you can hear it from anywhere in the venue.

Great live music venue. Food and drink are reasonably priced. The Parish is a very intimate experience. The Foundation room is a high end lounge. The music hall can be a pretty generic experience. But overall, great spot

Great place! Great customer service even for just a basic bar visit...or what started out to be. Was going in just for 1 drink, ended up being there for a few hours with my fiancee just enjoying each other. The server knew all of his stuff and recommended great drinks and appetizers. I understand why you're only allowed one of their special margaritas. Super good though. Definitely going back the next time I'm in the area.
