A friend of ours is in a hospital in Little Rock. We googled a local florist and stumbled upon Tipton & Hurst. We ordered a bouquet and were notified, by the florist, that our friend was on a floor that couldn't receive fresh flowers. They called us personally to let us know they would continue checking in on the floor at the hospital so that when our friend did move, she would have fresh flowers waiting in her new room. Our friend will not be leaving that floor unless she comes home, so we were forced to cancel our order. The owner responded within just a couple of hours to the email I sent and was so gracious about issuing me a refund. I don't know when I'll have a chance to use a florist in Little Rock again (as we are from Michigan), but I certainly won't hesitate to strongly recommend others use this vendor.

This was the first time (and last time) I have used Tipton & Hurst in Little Rock for flowers. I was shopping online for prom flowers (corsage and boutonniere) and found a lovely set at the Tipton & Hurst website. I placed my order three days in advance of the pick-up date and set the pick-up time for 3 (as their website suggested). Arrived at the store at 3:15 and was told "she was still putting on the ribbon and will be done shortly." This was obviously not true as I had to wait for 45 MINUTES before it was ready. Thank goodness I decided to pick them up a day before Prom or they would not have gotten the flowers in time to leave. Neither piece looked like it did on the website (less ribbon, different colored jewels, and overall on the small side) but I was so happy to be able to leave, I grabbed them and ran. Will not be returning.

I use Tipton Hurst regularly, they have a great selection of not only plants and flowers but gifts as well. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and they go out of their way to please the customer. This holds true in all locations, Little Rock, Conway, Baptist Medical Center, North Little Rock & The Promenade Mall on Chenal. Customer service is paramount and if your not satisfied just call the president, Howard Hurst. He will do whatever it take to satisfy the customer.

I have to update a review I gave on Mother’s Day weekend. I can’t find that review, so just starting again. I had a terrible experience on Mother’s Day. Net of the issue was that a communication issue across the stores caused flower to not be deliver to my mother. I was extremely frustrated as the person I talked to would not fix the issue. I cancelled my order, said I’d end my 25 year relationship with them, hung up and posted my review. I don’t believe my review could have been linked to me the way my account was set up. So it was interesting to me that Mr Hurst, himself, reached out to me. He was very apologetic and reassured me I was an important customer. Ultimately, Mr Hurst personally delivered a fabulous bouquet of flowers to my mother, and apologized to HER for the mishap. She was very greatful, and loved the flowers. While I was very frustrated at what happened, I do understand that accidents happen. It was impressive how Mr Hurst handled customer satisfaction issues. I’m definitely still a customer and will continue my relationship with this company.

Well, just a warning for anyone wanting to surprise their spouses with flowers. They will not show up when you want even if they say it'll be delivered by a specific time...doesnt matter what the occasion either like an anniversary. Was told it would be delivered asap only to find out it was quite the opposite and set to be delivered at the end of the day or the next. Very disappointed and will not use this place again for flower delivery, thanks for ruining the surprise, or lack there of, completely. Update: After the mistake was made, the owner of Tipton and Hurst called to express his deepest apologies for the error. He went further than most to right the wrong and we are very happy with the solution to the mishap. Always have used Tipton and Hurst for their flowers because of the quality and appearance and will continue to do so since they acted truly concerned and made my wife happy with the resolution to the problem. Thank you again Mr.Hurst for putting the extra effort in for a happy customer.

They generally have a 50% off promotion on loose stem flowers on Wednesdays. They're much better than what you'll get at the grocery store and about the same price or cheaper if you buy them on Wednesday when they're on sale. Your significant other will be pleasantly surprised with flowers on a weekday and you'll get a bargain.

I recently purchased a corsage and boutonnière from them for my senior prom. The end product looked better than the Pinterest photo I showed them. My one complaint, though, is about the company’s payment set up. I used a debit card as a credit card when I first stepped foot in the store three weeks ago. The $83.82 purchase never went through even though I had well over $100 on my card. When I went to pick up my completed order two weeks later, I went to hand the lady my card. She said I already paid for it. Later that same day, I called my card and the purchase still hadn’t gone through. Days later, I had a very important purchase to make and I couldn’t, because Tipton & Hurst decided the wanted to take the payment off of my card almost three weeks after the purchase I THOUGHT I made. It’s fine if that’s how you all, handle business , but it would be courteous if you’d give your clientele a heads up.

I worked with Christina all via email and a couple phone calls. I received their name from Alda at Magnolia Hill in Little Rock. I was planning a wedding in Arkansas from Texas and Christina made it so easy. We made several changes even up too a week or so before the wedding and she made it easy and seem hassle free. The day before the wedding I even received texts with pictures to make sure I liked the bouquets and boutonnières and how they looked and if there was any last minute changes to make. Would highly recommend using them for any of your floral needs especially with wedding things. Wrote an email to the company last night about the issue and by 5:30AM the next morning I received an email from the owner. He personally followed up with a phone call before 9:00AM. He was more than happy to assist me and wanted to be sure we were 100% satisfitied with our order. If you are looking for a company who you could trust to for your next event I would look no further! February 13, 2018 update: I was contacted by a manager on behalf of the owner to express how my experience was not indicative of how they would like their customers to be treated. I really appreciate that they took the time to contact me and see what could be done so that future customers will have a pleasant buying experience. They have always had a beautiful assortment of cut flowers and potted plants. I will give them another chance. ......... I used this location for flowers for a number of funerals. They have an abundance of fresh and potted flowers. I just don't like how I was treated in the store. I stopped in because I noticed that they had a sale on some of their holiday items and the manager seemed perturbed that I was buying the items that they had for sale. Mind you I made three separate purchases...but I waited in line, I was excited that I found an item for a gift for my mother and the lady didn't want to give me a gift bag & was stingy with the ribbon. I paid cash and I just don't like that I felt worse leaving the store, than when I walked in.

They sent me photos of my completed bouquets the week of the wedding and I felt I knew exactly what I would be getting the day of.
