This review is a bit delayed because there is so much to say! I could not be more grateful to the Bella Baxter team. Before having them take on my wedding, I was a bit disorganized and chaotic. I was lost in regards to what I needed to do and how I needed to do it. However, once they took over everything was easy! Their communication is TOP NOTCH! If I had a question I knew I would hear back from them immediately. They also LISTENED to what I wanted and executed it perfectly which helped bring my "provençal-themed" wedding to life! The wedding day itself flowed so smoothly. They not only created the perfect wedding timeline for me, my bridal party, and my vendors but they kept everything on track! I didn't have to worry about anything because I knew they had my back. They definitely go above a beyond what is expected of them. You can tell that they truly care about what they do. Thanks again guys!

The best wedding planning decision I made was to hire Bella Baxter Special Events. Katherine came in two weeks before the wedding and handled everything! She managed all the last minute details, vendor coordination, and most importantly, she thought of things we never would have! Katherine truly made the last couple of weeks before the wedding and the wedding day virtually stress free. I would highly recommend Bella Baxter Special Events to anyone planning an event, especially a wedding.

Kathryn almost ruined our wedding. The day that is suppose to be one of the happiest in your life should never be tossed aside or not taken seriously like Kathryn did with us. This review is a few years coming but needs to be posted. I hope it saves you from the what Kathryn did. First, Cheryl mentioned in another review: "Katherine and Teryn used other tactics such as talking only with my daughter and using her youth and inexperience to get more money." Yup. Can confirm. Further, Katheryn made inappropriate comments to my wife that stunned me when she told me. Kathryn, you are suppose to help make this a beautiful day for two people... why did you say those things? Second, the vendors she recommended weren't the cream of the crop. It was so bad the thought that Kathryn were taking kick backs from these substandard vendors came to mind. Though I hope this would not be the case. Anyway I took the initiative and found a few outstanding vendors with fair pricing. I thought Kathryn would be happy to add these vendors to her list so she could provide great options for future customers. She said that I didn't trust her and then did the unimaginable.. cancelled her services in the middle of the planning... Third, Kathryn cancelled her services in the middle! Actually, this turned out to be a blessing. My mother took the reigns and made an exceptionally special night for my wife and me. Kathryn, fearing the junky, unprofessional job she did, had a lawyer send a cease and desist letter threatening a lawsuit if I published a review of what she did to us. If a person needs to threaten a lawsuit because they fear bad reviews, this is a HUGE red flag. Keep the most happy day of your life, happy! Steer clear of Kathryn.

This review is long overdue! Hiring Bella Baxter Special Events was the best decision my now wife, Jodi and I made during the early planning stages of our wedding. We wanted a wedding that shared everything we loved about Memphis and our life here with all of our families and friends, and we wanted the reception to be the best party any one had ever attended. Katherine and team more than succeeded in making all of that possible. Each of the vendors she recommended were more than outstanding! Almost two years later, people still talk about the amazing catering! The arrangement of our outdoor settings and decor, staging a local music venue and coordinating with our local musicians, as well as the best floral designer with the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen - Katherine kept everything running smoothly and did not miss a beat during what was hands-down the best day of my life. Katherine supported our vision of creating a non-traditional ceremony that included things that veered from the norm, like string quartet music ranging from Elvis to AC/DC and vows from each of our attendants. Everything about the day was perfect. Executing our vision was not easy, but Katherine put all the pieces together in such a way that Jodi and I never had to worry about a single detail on our wedding day, and that piece of mind is what hiring an event planner is all about! Absolutely no regrets and I recommend BBSE & Katherine 100% if you are in need of someone to make all the pieces of your dream wedding day fall together perfectly.

With Bella Baxter Events, Katherine + Co are the best of THE BEST. I can not speak highly enough of their professionalism and honestly this group is OUTSTANDING in the field of event planning. Katherine was an event planner, a sort of maid of honor, therapist and laborer all rolled into one awesome human. She made our wedding look and feel like it was 100x more expensive than it was, reassured every single one of my concerns (which with her were far and few between if any), and made sure that my fiancé's voice and my voice were heard throughout this whole process (and believe me, wedding planning is a PROCESS- no matter how big or small). We had a church ceremony followed by an outdoor tented reception and Katherine and her crew handled the craziness of lawn care, transportation, lighting, catering, generators, plumbing, etc. (aka putting together a wedding from SCRATCH) like it was no big deal. I had ZERO stress the week of my wedding or on the actual day of my wedding which is rare, and its all thanks to Katherine and her team for their tireless and completely organized efforts. A lot of couples say "take me back" when it comes to their weddings, and now so do I thanks to Katherine! I wish I could go back, do it all again, just to see her bring the most beautiful wedding from nothing to life. With Katherine as my wedding planner, I was able to say "whatever Katherine thinks is best" and completely defer to her judgement on a lot of things, and I was never disappointed. Our guests were blown away and are still talking about the food, the cake, the band, the atmosphere, the design, the flowers, the everything! You will not regret using her! Katherine, David, EVERYONE who works for BBE, if you are reading this- you are amazing! You made my wedding unforgettable, so enjoyable, and more beautiful than I think anyone else could have done it. I appreciate y'all and I hope your other clients know how special y'all are!

I had a great experience with Katherine + Teryn for my wedding planning + wedding day!! They helped me alot throughout the whole planning process. I felt like I could talk to them and they actually listened. They showed us lots of vendor options that fit my ideas and kept us on budget the way I wanted to be. They worked well with my parents - my Mom loved them! Really my whole family did! John's and my wedding day looked exactly how I envisioned it and we had a really awesome time! Totally the best!

Bella Baxter was the wedding planner for a dear friend of mine in 2016, and Katherine and her team were simply amazing! My friend and I are fairly crafty so we made so many items for the wedding and the following ceremony. Katherine and her team were so wonderful in all of the planning stages of the event and helped guide us along the way prioritizing projects. The professionalism displayed by the Bella Baxter team was spectacular and when the days came for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception the team took all of our hard work and spun it together into pure magic giving my friend, the bride, the chance to relax (as much as a bride can) and see her dream unfold before her eyes. I can not give enough praise to Katherine and her team for simply being the best they can be. I thoroughly loved working with them on this project.

The worse planners you could imagine. Katherine and Teryn were very unprofessional and disorganized. The guest at my daughter's wedding were confused during the whole proceedings. To make matters worse Katherine and teryn were equally confused and did not know anything about taking care of the day's events. Our guest could not hear the vows recited by the couple because a microphone was not provided. To make matters worse, the planners engage my daughter a week before the event that she needed to pay more for additional help to work the night of wedding. This was done despite a contractual which was signed and mentioned nothing about this late tactic. Katherine and Teryn used other tactics such as talking only with my daughter and using her youth and inexperience to get more money. They did this even when I tried to talk to them about matters of concern. Steer clear of this vendor if you want have professional service. The pair at my daughter's wedding were running around like children without any purpose.

Hiring Bella Baxter Events for my wedding, was one of the best decisions I made. As a type-A with an event planning history, I wanted to plan it all out myself. But I needed someone to execute it so that I could experience my wedding day as the bride, not the event planner. As I planned each detail, Katherine offered expert and experienced advice. As we got close the wedding, she took over contacting all my vendors and volunteers to make sure plans were on track. I took her out of her comfort zone using so many volunteers and family for so many things, but she executed flawlessly. The day of the event, she coordinated everything by visualizing my dream perfectly. The end result was nothing short of magical! She did so much for me, and on a fee that fit my budget. I hope I have occasion to hire Katherine again!
