My wife and I got married at Alda's on 10/11/2015, and couldn't have asked for anything better! Alda and Buddy are by far the most amazing people we have ever been around, and welcomed us into their home with the hospitality that one would can only get in a southern women's home. We lived out of state when we were planning the wedding, and with that we told Alda what ideas we had and what we wanted to see, and Alda and Buddy knocked it out of this world! The decor and atmosphere was above and beyond what anything my wife and I could have ever dreamed of. Alda made sure everything ran like a well oiled machine, and everything was absolutely perfect. Alda's is the only place that we would ever recommend anyone to get married! Again a huge thanks to Alda and Buddy for being apart of the most amazing day of our lives!

This is a beautiful place for weddings!! Carriage ride for bride, while groom floated in on canoe, swans floating on the water.

We've been to several weddings here. It's a beautiful place, but definitely very pricey and particular. It's neat to see the groom coming in on the canoe and the bride coming in on the horse drawn carriage though.

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with Alda and her place the first time we went to look at it! While it is expected I will definitely say you get what you pay for! My mom loved that she didn’t have to do a lot of work decorating and I loved that Alda had a list of people she liked to work with, which helped me with the planning, especially since I lived in Texas and at the time the rest of my family and my husband were in Arkansas still. Alda was truly a helpful guide through the whole process and my family will tell you that I was probably the most chill and relaxed bride they’d seen. The only thing that was a struggle for me was the communication would be off at times but otherwise everything seemed to go smoothly and it was a truly beautiful day. Definitely would suggest going here if you have the expenses and want the hassle free wedding of your dreams!!!

We absolutely loved this property. Both Alda and Buddy are unbelievably fantastic people. Our only sticking point was having to work with Catering Creations. We had an inexplicably awful experience with them before the food had a chance to ever hit the table. They were overpriced, impossible to get ahold of and completely inflexible for food or budget options. We had to break our contract with Magnolia Hill simply based on Catering Creations exclusivity there. It absolutely broke our heart. IF you are remotely interested in Magnolia Hill, meeting with Catering Creations beforehand is an absolute must...do NOT take anyone's word for it including Buddy and Alda at Magnolia Hill. It was an expensive lesson for us to learn but hopefully we can help someone else dodge the same pitfall.
