Meagan is a dream to work with. She and her staff are professional yet also personable. We could not have accomplished our son’s wedding in April 2019 without her. She took the bride and grooms thoughts and ideas and came up with a concrete plan for bringing those dreams to fruition. I have recommended Meagan with Crain and Co to everyone I know. Number 1 advice for anyone planning a wedding: hire Meagan. Without a doubt, she is pure magic. Meagan was SO helpful in our wedding planning process with hiring vendors, and thinking of every detail that never crossed our minds. On top of this, Meagan coordinated the chaos of our day. Guys, SO many crazy things happened on our wedding day (and I’m 100% certain I don’t even know the half of it) but I didn’t have to worry about any of it. I am so thankful we found Meagan to help us with our wedding. I started out thinking I may not even need a planner since I wanted something relatively simple but boy was I wrong! Meagan thinks of things you don’t even realize you need to be thinking about when you plan a wedding. EXCELLENT doesn't begin to describe MC Events and Meagan in particular! From the moment we net Meagan to all of the planning and details, to the interfacing with vendors, check lists, and with our communications all the way through the process. And the bride lives in California and I'm the mother of the bride and have a full time career requiring a lot of business travel- which can complicate everything! But it didn't at all and Mea gan was right ther responding so quickly to any and all of our emails and needs - cannot say enough positive things! I cannot say enough as to the professionalism, the ability to manage all of the details to the vision that she was able to help us execute for my daughter's wedding - i could not have asked for a better person to help us through this complex process! Hiring Meagan Craine and M.C. Events was one of the best (and easiest) decisions we made during the wedding planning process. From the very first meeting, Meagan was forward thinking and very insightful, not to mention professional and friendly. Working with Meagan was not just the FIRST decision I made when starting to plan our wedding, but also the BEST decision. When venue hunting in Tucson, three of the five places I went told me that if I was looking for a planner, to look into Meagan. At the time, I was unsure if I wanted to hire someone, since I plan corporate events for a living, but as soon as I had my initial conversation with her, I knew it was the right decision. She has the best advice, the best relationships and vendor recommendations, she keeps you on schedule and offers suggestions around things you'd never think to do. The day of my wedding I did absolutely nothing other than enjoy it because Meagan was behind the scenes making sure everything was getting set up and happening on time! She handles all vendor communication so you aren't trying to coordinate with everyone while you're also getting ready! Our wedding was seamless and it was truly because of how great Meagan and her team were. I would (and have) recommended her to anyone and everyone I know getting married in Arizona. She is absolutely incredible and you will NOT regret hiring her as your wedding planner! If I could give her more than 5 star, I definitely would!

Let me start by saying the Megan is very sweet. There is a reason, however, that I cannot give her 5 stars. I found her on the Knot based on her reviews so I wanted to give an honest and complete review of my experience with her. She created a great style board based on my Pinterest pins, which was a great idea. She also was very quick to respond to any texts or calls, which was super helpful. She found us some wonderful vendors, Posh Petals and Carte Blanche. Both were phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. She was also accommodating when it came to traveling because my wedding would be in Sierra Vista, AZ. I was however somewhat underwhelmed the day of my wedding. I expected to sit back and just enjoy the day, instead I was rushing around trying to get things done or questions answered. I think Meagan was trying her best but was very understaffed. She only brought one assistant to help her set-up and that was not enough. I would have happily paid for 1 or 2 more to make the set-up easier. When guests arrived at my parent’s home for the wedding they began to enter the house. Meagan nor her assistant was anywhere to be found to help direct the guests. My parents felt very uncomfortable to ask the guests to leave the home, so they didn’t. The guests began to open up bottles of alcohol at the bar and pour their own drinks. It took my Aunt running around the house to find Megan and ask her to correctly direct the guests. My pictures before the ceremony were also rushed because we tried to stick to Meagan’s timeline. I got back to my parent’s home and had over and hour to wait until the ceremony when I would have really liked to have more picture time. Additionally, most of my bridal party had little direction and didn’t know what they were supposed to be doing. This created more stress for me as I tried to figure it out. During the reception I spent about 25% of the time just running around the house trying to find Meagan for something. Things I had asked her to do didn’t get done and my Husband and I had to do them. It was not the stress-free experience I was expecting. My husband and I did quite a bit. This may be due to her being understaffed, but again, I would have happily paid for additional assistants. I had also had a lot of things done that was on her contract to do prior to hiring her so I really didn’t believe I was asking too much. It was a beautiful wedding and I do appreciate what she did do. I just felt like I was doing quite a bit on my wedding day that I shouldn’t have had to do. I also felt that there could have been more organization and the bridal party/family members could have been better informed. Overall, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. I think my experience was simply from her being understaffed the day of the wedding which was an easy mistake to make.

I had seen Meagan Crain's work before and knew I had to have her for our wedding. I was planning from Texas with only a few chances to get out to Scottsdale, AZ which is where our venue was. Meagan never made me feel like planning from a distance was a problem. She was always on top of things and met me at my venue whenever I needed her to throughout the process. She was organized, calm, and always in sight when I needed her. Also, her recommendations for vendors were incredible!!! There was not one vendor I was not 100% thrilled with. For anyone considering not having a planner, I would reconsider. There are a million and one things to think about the day of your wedding, and Meagan is the perfect person to handle it all so you can enjoy your day! I would do it all over again with Meagan and not change a thing!

Meagan was recommended to us by a friend and we are happy we worked with her throughout our planning process. Planning a wedding in Tucson from across the country can have its difficulties but having someone else on the ground -- other than family members -- was a good thing. From our initial emails and meeting almost 1.5 months prior to our wedding, we were impressed by her professionalism, genuine personality and sense of organization. Meagan has plenty of spreadsheets and checklists that will help any bride and groom become organized, get prepared and lay out things easily to digest. I appreciate they were Google-based as that is my preference. Meagan is helpful in answering questions surrounding every aspect -- timeline for planning, timeline for day-of, suggestions of vendors, guidance on design, suggesting vendors that fit within your budget -- and even quick to act when a vendor cancelled on us less than a month before our wedding day. She takes a great interest into planning each moment of your wedding day and it shows as our wedding day ran on-time. Always keeping her client's interests in mind, we were impressed with her execution on the day of our wedding as you can easily tell she has experience. Because she was our wedding planner, we even got a bonus service from one of our vendors included --- it was such a treat! I'd recommend using Meagan as your wedding planner.

I would choose Meagan and her team ten times out of ten! I once thought you don't need a wedding planner, but after going through it, choosing Meagan for this job was the best choice I made throughout the entire planning process! From the very first phone call to check ins months after our big day, Meagan puts 110% into her job. She was constantly available by phone and email and was there to answer every question and be the best sounding board for even the silliest concerns. She was so calm, laid back and reassuring throughout every conversation and meeting. The majority of our planning was done from out of town and I was never worried for a second. I just wanted to say how amazing Meagan and her team are!! We initially had a separate wedding planner that we were referred to but due to life changing events, we had to switch our wedding date and our wedding planner was already booked on our new date. She needed to be replaced 6 weeks before the wedding! Meagan and her team were actually referred to us by our Wedding Venue as we had not heard of her in our initial search and she was AMAZING!!! From the minute we got in touch with her she was over prepared for anything we could throw her way. She took everything in stride assuring us that she would take care of everything exactly the way "we" (the way my wife) wanted. Meagan was present for the remaining planning but we were also bummed to hear since the date was so close, she was busy with another wedding on our day and she would assign us one of her assistants. The wife and I were skeptical at first but we were clearly out of options. Any great wedding planner was going to be booked more than 6 weeks in advance (usually 6 months in advance!!) We didn't get the chance to meet Victoria until the day before the wedding at the rehearsal and she picked up exactly where Meagan left out as if she was with us the whole time. Victoria was extremely conscious of our well being throughout our special day. She got us chairs when our feet were hurting, she made sure to have our favorite drinks served to us after our introduction at the reception, she made sure everything was met throughout our entire series of events without feeling rushed or noticeably watching the clock. She just acted with such composure and a calmness about her that kept my wife and I very much at ease and allowed us to simply enjoy our day care free. It was simply the best day of my life. I couldn't have been more happy with both Meagan and Victoria combined. They show a true care and compassion for the wedding couple and they have mastered event planning. I can genuinely recommend this team with full confidence they will make sure all of your wedding day wishes come true.

Meagan Crain was hands down the best money we spent on our wedding. I can’t imagine having planned it without her. My husband and I were planning our Tucson wedding from New York, and we needed someone who was organized, knew the local vendors, and could execute. Meagan delivered on all of those levels. In particular, there are two things that make Meagan a phenomenal wedding planner. First, she is extremely professional and organized, she delivers quickly, has amazing attention to detail, and is very responsive in her communication. She doesn’t waste time on things that aren’t important to you. My husband and I are both busy and were looking for someone who could keep us in check and make sure things got done. Meagan was that person for us. Second, she has an amazing eye for design. Our wedding was beyond beautiful, and it’s because Meagan was able to take our vague ideas and turn them into a cohesive design that was elegant, timeless and tasteful. I appreciate beautiful design but don’t really know how to create it, and that’s where Meagan stepped in. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Meagan Crain is absolutely the best. Hiring her was hands-down the best decision we made in planning our wedding at Rancho de los Caballeros in Wickenburg, AZ. When we hired Meagan about 10 months out, we had already chosen the wedding date and narrowed down to one or two possible venues, but we didn’t have a clue what to do next – and because we live in NYC we knew we needed an Arizona-based planner to walk us through the entire process. Meagan was the most amazing guide, from researching, screening, and suggesting vendors (and coming up with more options to satisfy my husband and my perfectionism and indecisiveness), to keeping us on schedule in making design and other decisions, to helping us negotiate contracts, to generally managing our anxieties. Meagan has impeccable taste and was great at getting to know exactly what our tastes were, so by the time the wedding rolled around we knew we could rely on her to help with any snap decisions and adjustments that were required. She was also proactive in ensuring we got the most bang for our buck so our event exceeded our expectations while staying on budget. Meagan is incredibly calm and friendly even under pressure, which enabled us to completely focus on enjoying our wedding weekend and all of the friends and family who had gathered to celebrate with us rather than managing ANY logistical concerns whatsoever. This was particularly miraculous since our three-day wedding weekend was the largest event our venue had ever done – including creating several new event spaces in various locations on the Ranch’s property for the rehearsal dinner evening, the wedding ceremony, and the reception – and because I’m usually a total micromanager and worrier. In absolutely every aspect of the process, Meagan went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely taken care of. Meagan makes you feel like you’re her only client even though she’s clearly got many weddings on her docket -- I don’t know how she manages to devote so much time and emotional energy to each client. And she’s worth many times more than what she charges. My husband and I now joke that we wish we had another big event to plan in Arizona just so that we can work with her again!

Short version- Meagan and Victoria are a fantastic team! They're precise, punctual, responsible, responsive, and exceedingly creative! Long version- From when we first with Meagan, her professionalism and passion shone from the get go - we knew we wanted to entrust this celebration of a lifetime to her. I wanted to have a good amount of involvement in the planning, too, so she provided many useful tools to guide our organizing, tailored to our needs. My husband and I really only planned out the basics for ourselves... we didn't have many preferences. Meagan made suggestions based on our interests and her expertise on the things we never even thought about. Where the other vendors lacked, Meagan picked up the slack or communicated changes that needed to be made. Someone wasn't emailing me back? I tell Meagan and in five minutes I've got the other vendor on the phone with me. A vendor is quoting me double the price as we had originally discussed? Problem solved by the end of the day. Though Meagan was not there the day of, her assistant Victoria was! She ran a tight ship and kept everything going according to plan (or so it seemed to me. If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it). I don't even know half or more of the things that went on behind the scenes, it was that seamless! There's so much more I could say about how wonderful it was to partner with Meagan, but that would be too long to read. My advice is to spend your money where it matters: photography and planner. Thankfully, Meagan gave us a timeline and advised when decisions needed to be made (she will communicate reminders based on your preference ( phone/ text/ email) to keep you on schedule- this is something I 100% needed). She gave us options based on our vision and was always courteous of our budget. Meagan made our dreams come true. I had some different ideas for decor that had never been done at my venue/ were not easy to accomplish. Meagan worked with all of the vendors and our venue to make things happen.
