Our wedding was Saturday and I can’t express how grateful I am for Paradise Beach Weddings. Some of the sweetest people and so helpful. I booked my event for the 25th because I knew it would be easier for my guest to come in on a Saturday. I truly wanted my official date to be the 24th because it’s my grandparents, who I lost when I was 7 years old, wedding anniversary. We were married in August of 2008. When researching different wedding providers, we found Paradise Beach Weddings. They were affordable, and more importantly, open for the date we wanted! We hadn’t been the Gulf Shores, we had never been to a beach wedding, and we didn’t know what to expect! We trusted them to put together everything for us. We had a rehearsal the day before (when the sun was shining), and just showed up the day of (which was overcast thanks to a tropical storm). They made it easy, and they were great to work with. We just had our wedding in Gulf Shores this weekend and everything was wonderful! Paradise Beach Weddings definitely made our special day amazing! Amy was great to work with, was responsive and very clear in her communications. Contrary to what a handful of other reviewers have said, the ceremony was NOT rushed and we were under the threat of tropical storm Alberto. Our minister, Roger, was great, and made a personal connection with me and my husband. Joey, the photographer, was fantastic! Even during an impending storm, he took his time with us and we had a lot of fun with the photoshoot. This group makes planning a wedding from a distance super easy and pain free. They made our wedding everything we wanted it to be! We wanted to keep it simple, yet still have a beautiful Christian ceremony. We almost had to delay our wedding due to HORRIBLE storms all day the day of, but they blew over just a few hours before the ceremony. Amy called to ask me if we wanted to move the ceremony of reschedule, and my heart told me no so we held out and it was worth it! We may not have had sunny skys, but for an August wedding the temperature was great. This was a simple beach wedding with not a lot of fuss. We plan to renew our vows with them in 2023!

I never leave a bad review but after the experience I had with Amy, at Paradise Beach Weddings, I feel it needs to be done. First, getting in touch with Amy was next to impossible. You say in your website and contract that you coordinate the wedding. You did not! I was the one that had to tell everyone where to go and what to do while walking my daughter. That was your job not mine. I asked for my daughter not to see the groom before the wedding. When we showed up, at the time you said to be, the photographer, minister and groom were there instead of being at the beach where you said they would be. We would have stopped but did not see them in time to turn around and could not prevent it. Nobody knew where to be. Plus, my daughter was so upset on a day that was suppose to be amazing for her. Not a good way to start a wedding. When I talked to you , you blamed the minister, the photographer, the groom, myself and my daughter for everything . Really?? You did apologize but never took responsibility for it . I dont mind you not being there but you should have had someone there to at least tell people where to go . This is your business so quit blaming everyone else. Then, when we got the pictures back you put the wrong name on the pictures. Who is Chris? You also said you would put a rush on them but still took almost 4 weeks....not a rush . We put a lot of hard work into this wedding and your inability to coordinate should have never happened . I would never recommend this company!

Our wedding was everything I had ever dreamed of. It was absolutely beautiful. Our wedding coordinator made sure our day went smooth and was everything I had invisioned. I was so nervous planning a wedding from 11 hours away, but they made it very easy to plan and communicate exactly what I wanted. We booked our dream wedding a few months in advance, paid our non-refundable deposit and then a few weeks later, we were ready to pay our remaining balance, my husband and I, called multiple times for two weeks trying to pay the remaining balance, fretful that we had been scammed. About a month and a half before our wedding we finally got in contact with the owner, who seemed upset that we hadn't called the office (which we tried several times), but instead her work cell that was listed, took our payment, and asked if we were paying the payment that was due that Friday, one in which we were never informed about... only that the balance was to be paid two weeks prior the wedding... I was relieved, we had paid for the wedding, but our troubles didn't exactly end there. One week before the wedding I called frantic, I had no idea where to go, what time to arrive or what information would be needed. We still hadn't discussed the wedding party or color scheme and the arrangement of flowers. When I was finally called back about these details, we worked through them and I was informed that no flowers would be provided on my arbor, the reason being, they "didn't look very nice" tired of being run around, i accepted this and called a florist on my own so I would at least have a bouquet at this point since my flowers wouldn't be on my arbor. Ironically enough, i happened to get on Facebook that same day and see a different wedding on the day that I called, with flowers on the arbor. On the actual day of the wedding, we were told to show up 30 mins. early, including everyone that would be going to the wedding, so that no one would be late. We arrived and our photographer was running late since it was a holiday weekend, which was really no problem, except my entire wedding party and I sat at our wedding site until it was actually time for the wedding to start, and the photographer and minister showed up. We had to find our arbor on the beach ourselves, because no one told us where it would be located, other than it would be at the state park, and we roamed around on the beach in our formal wear until we located our wedding site. Also, the beach was packed, granted it was a holiday weekend. Online it says it the public beach closes at 5 pm, so we thought people would be leaving by the time our wedding started at 5:30.. this was not the case. We seemed uncoordinated and I felt like it was because of lack of planning. The photographer and minister who were hired by Paradise Beach Weddings were AMAZING!! I seriously loved them, professional and friendly. However, no one from Paradise Beach Weddings actually showed up, and afterwards no one asked if we were satisfied or if everything went as planned. Now it as been two weeks since the owner texted that my photos were suppose to have been mailed to me and I still haven't received them, when I texted the owner that I hadn't received them I got no response and that was three days ago. Overall I feel like they operated as the middle man. They hire the minister and photographer and charge you to arrange everything. Our wedding was nice but we had a few obsticals from a serious lack of planning on their part.

Such a disgrace, beware and do your research to the fullest. They overbook and rush your wedding, they seem friendly but only out to make money for their business. These people totally rushed me and my husband on our wedding day, pictures were also rushed, not a private wedding so people will be in your pics and not look anything like the photos on the site, so false advertisement & Amy's husband incorrectly filled out our marriage license so it delayed us weeks more for what we needed to do.This is peoples special day! You don't mess it up I bet you didn't mess yours up sweetheart!!!

Amy was not an easy person to get in contact with even after my mom paid our balance in full. You had to call/text/email multiple times to get a response out of her. Flash forward to the wedding day which was the first time we had actually met them. Everything seemed to be fine and they let us know they would mail off our marriage license for us. I had mailed off my money to receive copies of our license that following week. A week and a half after that, I got a call from the courthouse saying that they were still waiting for my marriage license to come in. My mom and I reached out to Amy about it and she thought her husband had done the ceremony and that he mailed it out but that was not the case. Another minister did our wedding and he had misplaced it on his desk. When we finally got our pictures back, she had sent pictures for the WRONG couple. Overall, we were very unhappy with our experience and will not recommend them anyone again. When you hire people to help plan your wedding and take care of things, you should not have to try so hard to get in touch with them, worry about getting your marriage license, and most definitely shouldn't have to tell her she sent you the wrong wedding pictures. Most people only get married once and they like to be able to look back on happy memories. While marrying my best friend is memory enough, every time I look back I also remember all the bad things we had to deal with as well.

I recently got married through paradise beach weddings. The only reason I wanted to have an actual wedding was for the pictures. I just got my pictures back and they are awful. It's so upsetting because the pictures on their website are so much better. I'm having my cousin edit them so that I am happy enough with them to hang them in my house. It was during one of the tropical storms, but I felt that more effort could have been made to get better pictures. I also felt rushed with getting pictures done and have none that are unique at all. Also, I wanted my ribbons on the chairs to be gray and they were burlap. Definitely not worth it.

My husband and I are from Missouri and got married April of 2019. I was very nervous on how everything would turn out since we were so far away and we’re only able to communicate via email and phone calls. Regardless, everything was beautiful. Amy and Robert are very professional, kind, and passionate about what they do. Our pictures turned out wonderful, and I can’t tell you how relieved my husband and I were when we saw Robert using the most worn out bible while performing our ceremony. Robert did an outstanding job as the minister, we were a little worried not knowing him or attending any of his services, but was... again perfect! Amy was perfect as well, she was very laid back yet organized and kept things moving. Both did an awesome job with set up, they were working by themselves and dealing with heavy winds and an incoming storm yet both were amazing. I would highly recommend them! I found them after searching every option along the gulf. I’m very simple and I never ever have wanted a big crazy showy wedding. I just wanted to marry the man I love, in a dress I love, in my happy place which is the beach. We stayed in the country the make it easy on family because we had a short engagement and the gulf has the best beaches here and a less than six hour ride from Atlanta. Paradise beach weddings offered their best packages for a great price to top it off. I was a little nervous booking from another state but Amy and Robert took care of me the entire way through. They answered every question I had along the way even when Alabama changed their laws about getting a marriage license only a few weeks after we booked. Although we chose to make our marriage legal in Georgia, Robert had already figured out the solution if it came to it. When the day came it was all even more than expected. All went off without a hitch and we even had chairs added with no problem. Robert officiated and I loved that we had a Christ centered ceremony. It was so beautiful. And Amy was there taking pictured and my goodness she went above and beyond because just about every guest was immediate family which were included in the pictured. If I even hear a stranger whisper anything about having a wedding on the beach, I will be sending them to this awesome couple. Certainly a steal for the price. Thanks Amy and Robert

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Paradise Beach Weddings. When planning a wedding from out of state, I wanted an experience for my self and my guest that was easy going, stress free yet personalized and elegant and that was exactly what I got! The decorations were exactly as we had spoke about over the phone and they set up in the perfect spot on the beach to get some amazing shots. I have not got my official pictures back but from what I have seen from my ceremony online (facebook), I have no doubt that they will be wonderful. Not sure why so many great reviews of this business. It is by far the worst ran business. You can never reach the owner, they rush everything and leave you and the guest to run the show. This should be one of the most memorable days of a bride and groom's life but when you have nothing but chaos and confusion because no one from the company is there to help coordinate the wedding then is becomes one of the worst days. Also not sure who took the pictures on the website but it was not our photographer. The pictures we received were amateur at best. Preacher late, no coordination, shabby photos with someone else's name on them, ugh. Yes I'm sure you are busy doing 7 weddings a week but its your business, run it better, hire more help, etc. In response to your response. 1. Never assume you know where the money comes from that pays you. Just because you dealt with the bride doesn't mean we were not all involved. 2. Never, not one time did I ever say that no one from the company was there at the wedding. What was actually said was, you had the minister and photographer only there and no one to help coordinate the wedding like we were told would be happening. You said you had told the photographer and the minister what they needed to do since you were not going to be there I told you that you can not expect someone that is already doing a full job to also do the job of a coordinator. 3. I never demanded anything from you but I did suggest that you change your wording on your contract to state something other than wedding coordination provided if there truly wasnt going to be one. 4. Yes there were a few good pictures but out of the 150, several were duplicates, blurry and eyes closed and not to mention wrong name on them. 5. Also, you are correct. The bride did walk up on the groom and groomens standing on the boardwslk because NO ONE WAS THERE COORDINATING. No one told them when to go out to the beach. You even admitted the photographer was even confused on why the groom and groomsmen were still on the boardwalk. So yes I'm sure getting a bad review and then lashing out with false statements some how makes you feel better but when it's all said and done...take ownership in your business and instead of blaming everyone else just simple know you are the one that failed on this wedding. You have never one time apologized but instead blamed the wedding party, your husband for being late and the photographer for not following your instructions.

We drove from 12 hours a away and it was raining before our ceremony. I was a little nervous but it cleared up right on time. We had the wedding of our dreams with our children to witness.
