Hiring this wonderful team was the BEST decision I made regarding my wedding! I can't say enough about how amazing they are! They helped us plan every detail, and truly made our wedding a magical dream! I hear so often from other brides about how stressed they are about and on their wedding day that they have so many things to do. I can tell you that these wonderful people make sure that you have nothing to worry about except to enjoy your event!

This group is the best of the best!! There are not enough words to describe how absolutely incredible it was to work with M. Elizabeth Events while planning my wedding. Not only did the entire team pay close attention to every detail during the planning process, but they were also extremely active and present on the day of my wedding and worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were always accessible and answered every question I had (no matter how silly it may have seemed) quickly and thoroughly. Most importantly, they helped bring all of my crazy wedding dreams to life! Just a few examples: I had a vision of a massive floral arrangement in the center of a circular-shaped bar in my reception venue, and Meghan and her team worked with several vendors to make it happen. One of my bridesmaids broke the back of her dress 15 minutes before pictures, and Candice had all of the supplies and matching thread to sew her dress back up just in time. It completely poured rain right as our first look was scheduled, and not only did the team swiftly find a new location for the pictures, but Candice and Shelbi gathered a little bit of the rain in a cup for me to put in the freezer and save for the future baptism of our first child or simply as a memoir. These are only a few of many examples of their thoughtful expertise and close attention to detail. It cannot be compared. They know what it means to deliver on true customer service and I am forever grateful they were part of my big day. I know without a doubt my wedding journey would not have been the same without them!

Please, please I beg of you, new bride, stay FAR FAR AWAY from Meghan and her team. I paid her for her full services ($6200) and got almost nothing out of it. I might as well have taken that money & thrown it out the window. She and her team are completely devoid of personalities and empathy for a bride’s special day. She will not answer your emails on time and will drop the ball on nearly everything where you just end up going to the vendor themselves. The only emails you will receive proactively are the ones where she’ll ask for her upcoming payment. She was the ABSOLUTE worst part of planning my wedding and I regret every penny I spent on her. Please read the other negative reviews and take them seriously. That was my falling. Also, I met with two other vendors who had worked her previously and they said she was a nightmare to work with. Then on the day of the wedding, our wedding party made comments about the rudeness that was emanating from her associates, who also realized 40 minutes before I was to walk down the aisle that they had failed (again) to remind me of a payment that needed to be made to the florist. And demanded I pay them by check. I was so flustered and appalled and nearly broke into tears. My wonderful father-in-law was able to step in and save the day because he had his checkbook on him. What kind of behavior is that from a professional planner? Even our makeup team was like "I'll touch base with you tomorrow to get the payment from you" She might not care that we invited guests who are local (I’m an out of town bride) who we’re looking for vendors for their own wedding and asked for recommendation - one of them is having a $100K wedding in Charleston and I recommended every other vendor I had except for her. And I’m not a bridezilla. All I expected was some professionalism and responsibility on her part. Just please go to someone else and trust them with your special day.

I highly recommend Meghan and her team! From start to finish they were wonderful to work with! They were there every step of the way, and I can’t imagine what the planning process would have been like without them. After one site visit that my dad went on, he even commented on how thankful he was that we hired them! She recommended so many wonderful vendors that I might not have known to use otherwise. They did such a great job of figuring out what aspects of the wedding were most important to me, and they made some great recommendations on where to splurge and where to save! On the weekend of the wedding Meghan and Shelbi made sure everything went off without a hitch! There were a few rain showers on our wedding day and they even collected some rain water from our wedding day to use when we christen our first child!! Meghan even drove us away in the car as we left the reception! When the day was over my expectations were exceeded all around! They are THE BEST! We are forever grateful for Meghan and her team!
