Young Life Birmingham planned an event for 650+ people and when asking around on which caterer we should use for an event this big, the first response was always “Kathy G & Company.” They went above and beyond helping us to figure out how to make the most out of our budget which we really appreciated. Natalie, their Senior Event Coordinator, was on top of every detail. Never once were we concerned or worried about the catering aspect of our event. The evening of our event came and their staff did a top notch job setting everything up and serving so many guests. They were extremely efficient and timely in everything they did. Everyone commented saying that the food was delicious and some even went on to say it was the best food they have had in 40 years of attending banquets! We could not be more pleased with the kindness and professionalism Kathy G gave to our event. They will definitely be our first call when we plan our next event.

Natalie and her team did a fabulous job for our wedding reception at Windwood Equestrian on September 9! The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful! The Kathy G staff were on top of things the entire evening-I cannot say enough about their professionalism and their wonderful attitude. They were a delight to work with. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding reception food they had ever had, and we have to agree! We highly recommend Kathy G and Co!

Natalie and the entire staff gave us the gift of an incredibly delicious, beautifully presented Rehearsel Dinner at the Avon Theatre for our son and bride to be. I️ can not say enough how everyone enjoyed the Southern menu prepared for our out of towners and family. It was AMAZING! We are a repeat Kathy G customer at intervals in our life, and I️ am so thrilled to write this review. Kathy G Catering is the absolute BEST and we loved working with them! From the moment someone (actually several people in different states!) recommended Kathy G & Co to me for catering a rehearsal dinner / welcome party for our son and daughter-in-law, I sensed that it would be wonderful. Planning from out of town could have been difficult but wasn't. After one visit to look at the John Hand Club setting together, we were able to handle the details by phone and email. All seamless. I can't say enough about the FOOD and have fielded countless compliments from guests. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. From the Tuscan table appetizer to the elegant dinner buffet to the tiramisu tower and cannolis for dessert, the menu was special, personalized and perfect in every way. It felt like we were eating food prepared from beloved family recipes. Finally, the service was extraordinary: before, during and after. There are no words to describe how the catering team brought things to life on the night of the event, taking exquisite care of every detail. What an honor to have them handling our event! I want to specifically thank Natalie and Anna Kate for their vision, execution and TLC. Forever grateful!

We loved our food from our wedding on May 4,2019!! The chefs made a modern version of chicken and dumplings just like I envisioned. The food stayed warm, which is always a plus. We didn’t get to try everything, but we heard great feedback and particularly loved the cheddar biscuits, lemon shooters, Tiramisu cups, and of course the chicken and gnocchi dumplings! Thank you!

We highly recommend Kathy G and Company! They catered a large luncheon (approximately 170 people) for us and did a fantastic job. The set up and take down went very smoothly, the food buffet was beautiful, and the food was delicious. They took the stress off of us and made a big event easy. Best food I have ever had at a wedding! My husband and I are huge foodies and our wedding food was very important to us. We had a seated dinner and everyone's meal was still hot when they received it which my guest commented on. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. 3 weeks later and my guest are still talking about the food! I wish I could have our meal all over again especially the tomato salad... DELICIOUS!

I host a large seated banquet annually. Natalie and her entire team are amazing! They are true, experienced professionals, and the events they have catered for me have been perfect. The team functions like a well-oiled machine--- they even graciously and gracefully rescued me from a last minute date mix-up one evening, and I think it might have been the best event ever! Natalie and her Kathy G Team catered my daughter’s wedding reception at the Gardens Café and The Botanical Gardens. All of our guests raved about the atmosphere, the food, and the stellar service and my daughter was thrilled with everything. I highly recommend Kathy G’s for any event and would not use anyone else!
