After another company started a job at our business and left us in a mess, Kenny and Jason came out, found the problem, gave us an estimate on site and started the job and finished it in the exact time frame they gave us. Everyone in the process was professional and we have already called back for them to do another job for us. So unfriendly and impolite. They didn't fix my problem and I really had a bad time to work with them. I have called 10 times to them to show up and fix my plumping problem. When my scheduled time arrived, they didn't show up. After calling hundred times, the technician came to my home but he couldn't fix the problem and he charge me $85 for nothing. This service is sucks, don't waste your money. I will not recommend this service to anyone, worst company that I have ever seen.

Have had to repairs done by Al Marino through the First American Home warranty and have been pleased with both. The first the technician diagnosed my heater, found the problem, ordered parts then a couple days later fixed the problem. The second repair was a water leak at the main shutoff, a previous company through First American did a poor repair. Al Marino fixed it correctly with all copper sweated joints. The technician was very professional. I would recommend Al Marino for work outside of First American, as I plan on them being my first call if it is not warranty related.

I called early on a Saturday. Left a message with a receptionist. 3 hours later no return call from plumber so I called again. 2 hours after that I received a call from plumber who was “ on his way” with no indication of how long he’d be. He was coming from Charleston so it took him over an hour. Meanwhile I waited. When he got here he presented me with a bill for service call ($150) which I agreed to because it was Saturday. He then inspected and verified the issue and gave me an estimate (638.97 including the $150) for what was by the plumbers own estimate “20 minutes work”. Overpriced even at $150 an hour rates for weekend service and parts (which I researched and discovered cost about $50).

Their website states that they service Fayette County, WV. I called and asked the woman who answered the phone if they do home renovation in Fayette County and she said yes. She then asked where is the home in Fayette County. I told her Scarbro, WV. She put me on hold for about a minute. When she came back on the line she said that the home was too far and they are not interested. I can see why their reviews are low. They do not do as they advertise.

Let me start by saying this company was unable to help. They could have easily taken my money and I would have been none the wiser. Instead, Shaun and Jay spent over an hour discussing the project and what needed to fix it. In the end, they were not willing to do the work as they are not specialized. Again, they could have taken my money... Shaun spent close to four hours at my home physically inspecting and discussing possible problems. I appreciate Shaun for being so nice and wanting the problem fixed rather than wanting a job. Because of my experience, I would not hesitate to contact them for another project. I hope that the quality of their work is as good as the customer service.

We really Recommend this Company,They are the Best .When our old Heating Unit gave out on Christmas eve We didn't think We would ever find a Repair Shop to help Us.Every where I called to ask if They could do the Repair was either closed or couldn't get to it until after the Holiday.I searched for Heating Unit repair online and Al Marino's came up but I never dreamed They would travel so far on Christmas Eve to take care of Us ,but They did. And because of the Excellent Service and Kindness They gave Us that made it possible for Us to keep our Family warm when Everyone else refused We want to say Thank You Al Marino and also Thank You for doing a Great Job installing Our New Unit ,its been almost 3 Years and its still doing Great.Again many Thanks and have a Great Thanksgiving

Just bought a home in Charleston that had some minor issues that needed repaired. A couple toilet problems a spigot problem and a bathtub leaking and draining slow. Was told that the toilets' low quality was my problem... fair enough I suppose. Then was told that the leaky spigot wasn't costing me much, like I should dismiss the water problem. Was told the bathtub just needed some caulking (hiding, not fixing the problem). I don't feel they seriously took my concerns with water in and around my house. Ended up with some estimates on new toilets (which are not currently leaking) and still left with a bathtub leaking behind the drywall. This is not what I expected from a plumber.

They bent over backwards to help me with a sewer problem that day. They aren't the cheapest option but they will tell you that too.

The plumbers showed up almost an hour late. They charge $99 just to SHOW UP and then tried to charge another $400 to fix a clog. Told them to forget it and called another place that said they can fix it for $125. The plumber from Al Marino came back after I sent him on his way and said they could do it for $250. So they knew they were screwing me to begin with! Wouldn't recommend this service even to my worst enemies.
