Didn't have what I needed but very helpful

The furnace was blowing cold air and making a load banging noise. I called Ables ( and I was a new customer) and they came out the same day and checked out the furnace. The furnace was no good and the very next day they had a new one installed! It was 2 degrees out and they still managed to pull it together. They answered all my questions, were very polite through the whole process. I will be using Ables for all my furnace needs from now on. Thanks so much!

I am both mad but mostly disappointed in this company. I have dealt with them for a long time. Recently I had them do the plumbing for a ventless propane heater. They charged me $1200. When the propane company came to install the tank, I asked them about the charges. They said I was ripped off. The propane guy does installations as a part time job. He said he would have charged $225. With the rates Ables charge, the installation should have cost between $450 to $500 at most. Ables charged me for 6.5 hours of work. They were only here for under 5 hours which included 2 one hour trips to get parts and a half hour waiting in the truck for the office to give the estimate before he could start. When I confronted Ables, they looked the bill over and said it was a bookkeeping error. They charged me for a whole roll of the expensive tubing instead of only 15 feet. They refunded $570 which still left the bill at $630. If I hadn't asked the propane company about the bill, Ables would have got away with bilking me. They still got paid more than they should have.

He called me back and his team worked with our situation and our Home Warranty program. New to the area, we are happy to find a company locally we can call upon in the event of any electric or HVAC needs!!! Thank you!

WARNING!! I spent 9,200.00 on a furnace and AC unit that does not heat or cool my house “four years ago”! They refuse to fix it or replace it! During the summer I can set it a 77 degrees and it will stay around 81. It has never gotten to set temperature. In the winter we use 3 space heaters to try and get furnace to set temperature. They tell us that we have to have our whole home insulated and have all of our windows replaced. They just recently informed us that bigger units won’t work in our home because we made the mistake in buying a 1950’s and older house. They did come to pretend to rectify the issue but all they did was change things around to bring the original installing and equipment up to code. Not too mention they installed a furnace in our business which is by far not up to code!! p.s. They have never done a heating and cooling home analysis or manual J before or after the installation. And if we’d like bigger units we would have to pay an additional 5,600.00 and then the owner Russ Ables isn’t confident that would work either!! He also came to our house and took fake pictures of thermostats that he had adjusted at lower temps. in order to try and cover his butt. Definitely think twice before calling Ables for any job, they’ll rip you off, lie to you and avoid admitting when their wrong.

Was there today to see if they could fix my pressure gauge on my holding tank. They had no one available so he called 2 other plumbing companies and found one that going to make time for me today because I don't have any water. Will be my first to go to for any work needing done.
