The reason I have taken the time to review this place is in the hope that someone within management (executive-level because it is clear the those within the "supervisor" roles have a general lack of care for those they supervise) will read this and actively seek change - This is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune of working. Starting with management and its general lack and care of its employees (one's of all variety) from it foreman, journeymen, electricians and especially the administrative staff (i.e. job cost). It is so disheartening to see how management generally disregards it employees personal lives, and expects them to be 110% dedicated to their professional lives. As someone whose ultimate goal in life is work/life balance this is NOT the place for that. Somehow you are tricked into working for this company as its claim to fame is work life balance but yet I have seen no respect or proof of this being the case. If you are NOT in management or favored by them you are generally disregarded, ignored and treated as though your life is an offspring of theirs. If this sort of attitude, lack of flexibility and utter disrespect and humility for the PEOPLE who work so hard to ensure your company is what it is continues, then I'm afraid you will only continue to see turnover at high rates, continue wasting time and money hiring new people as well keep a highly toxic environment that correlates to favoritism, inappropriate employer - employee relation, and a disregard for human lives.
My advice to management: Start with managers and supervisor - ensure there is a check and balance of power that is yielded in HR (At the moment, HR is an absolute joke)
MANAGERS (I.e. higher level manager / executives) talk to your ground employees, get their feedback on manager (make them accountable)
Do not be afraid to be flexible in nature - i.e. allow remote work for ALL not just a select few (this can only increase productivity, work life balance and employee engagement/ satisfaction as well as contribute heavily to overall company revenue and reduce budget)
OVERALL treat your people well, you HAVE GOOD PEOPLE! DO NOT CHASE THEM AWAY
