I love this company. They are so helpful, responsive, and responsible. They don’t try and up-sell me things I would never want/need nor do they claim something needs to be done that doesn’t. Basically they are honest. If you want a great general contractor / a jack of all trades company so you only have one number to call of something breaks, you can’t go wrong with House Call Company.

After talking to a few others companies about taking care of my damaged subfloor, House Call Company offered the best price. Dean came out after the project was started due to the damage being more than anticipated but the additional cost was still lower than the other companies. And Jaszmyn reached out by phone to schedule the project ASAP. Great company and staff. Will most likely be using this company in the future for other services and upgrades.

In March 2014 our AC was freezing when it was really cold out and my husband called the House Call Company to diagnose the problem and fix it. They sent a contractor who diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate. We told them to go ahead with the repair, but they never showed up to do it. We called them a few times in the following week, but nobody showed up to do the actual repair. That left us with no other option but to hire someone else to do another diagnostic and repair. This company didn't really forget about us as it seemed. They claimed that we didn't authorize the repair and that we owe them a diagnostic fee of $89. The same fee we had to pay someone else because they didn't bother to do the repair. I called them multiple times to ask them to drop the fee, but they insist it's my fault for not authorizing the repair which is not true. I wonder what is stopping them from going around doing diagnostics only and then blowing off the customers if they don't feel like doing the work. UPDATE: After a few more phone calls, we agreed to pay half of the diagnostic fee since the contractor did come to diagnose the problem and the error was in their bookkeeping.

Awesome!!! Everyone was very polite and nice!! Mr. Dean Thomason was awesome and he went above and beyond and addressed all my concerns regarding my bathtub. I called last minute near closing time and Dean arrived the same night within 30 minutes, he diagnosed the problem and eventually repair it. After we lost our water, he came to the house the day after House Call Company was called and saw what we were going through and made us a priority for the following day and got us our water back! The work he did looks incredible and Bryant, as well as the company, really made us feel important and that is all you can ask for when you are in the situation we were in. Bryant was very professional and he was a really positive person despite everything he was doing in the January weather. Outstanding company. They saved me thousands of dollars on a commercial HVAC solution, and now they are my "Go-To" people. After multiple quotes for a large system from other vendors, they came in, offered a cheaper solution, that was far more efficient. Other "Commercial HVAC" contractors gave me the impression of being unsure of what would be needed, but Dean came in, knew exactly what was required, offered multiple solutions, and executed my choice within days. My adult son uses them also, for residential. Highly recommend them, as they are honest, professional, and serious about customer service.

Man I feel robbed. Gentleman said he would unclog the main line for 100 bucks. Sounds to good to be true. It was. He put a 6 inch pc of plastic in my bathtub and said sorry can’t fix it like this. Poor workmanship, zero oversight and quality control. Felt like I was constantly having to point out obvious issues with projects: gaps, crooked boards, etc. Our deck rail was totally redone twice, and still isn't correct. They offered to redo again at no charge, but I was hoping for a company that could do it right, the 1st time. The wood on our inlaw suite had to also be redone due to poor workmanship, and trying to use caulk to "fix" rotted areas. Ultimately, we cancelled the contract and walked away.

The first technician did not do a complete job diagnosing the problem with my furnace. The second technician seem to know more. With the first tech, he recommended replacing the furnace control board to the price of $1400, which still didn't fix the problem. I've called a second company to look into fixing my system completely. I was told that the $1400 price tag for the furnace board is way overpriced. Won't use House Calls ever again.

Dean and Phil came out immediately to service my furnace. They wore booties on their shoes to protect the carpet and each time they went outside, they took the booties off and reapplied them when coming back in. We started working with this company early May and signed papers to move forward with our project. Every week we would have to call, text, or email to get a status update. They were initially very responsive, but weren't making any progress at all after a month to include setting up a start construction date. A few weeks ago we emailed them to let them know we'd have to cancel our project (for personal reasons). After we got things squared away, we emailed them back to restart the process. It's been over a week with no reply from either of the 3 people we reached out to. While I can't comment on the quality of work they do, I can say that their follow through and communication after a contract is signed is horrible and unprofessional.

Definitely would NOT recommend. This company was recommended by my contractor that is remodeling my kitchen. My cold water line coming off of my water heater was leaking. The first day the plumber was here for 7 hours and the leak was still present and the stores were closed so he couldn't get additional parts. The next day he was at my house for 5 hours and could not get the leak to stop. He said that he would have to cut into the drywall to see if the PVC was leaking. They couldn't get me an estimate while he was here, so the plumber left with the leak still dripping and 16 hours of vacation time spent with no resolution. I find it absolutely unacceptable that a plumber would leave the site with the leak still occurring. The estimate was sent to my email and for an additional $900, I should let the technician make a visit for the 3rd time to attempt to diagnose/fix the problem. No thank you!! I will find a reputable plumber who can get the job done right the first time! Update: A new plumber came in this evening and fixed the leak in a half hour with no need to cut into the drywall. The House Call plumber had the wrong fitting. Saved myself over $800 by going to someone else.

Brand new HVAC system was installed less than a year ago. About 11K in price. A month ago maybe 2 tops, AC was acting up. So house call came out. Said there was a Leak. So tech did his thing & fixed it. Well guess what NEW HVAC system is acting up again. Just called. Explained everything an they said I would receive a call back. I asked if it would be today an got no guarantee. Absolutely ridiculous. 2 months after they came out the system is messed up again......Waiting on that phone call.

I am in property management maintenance and I called on house call company to help with an A/C issue. Dean not only came out on a Sunday but within an hour , he had diagnosed and rectified the situation. I will use house call for all of my future issues. Terrible experience from the beginning to the end. They installed a new unit in our house 3 and 1/2 years ago. We have had nothing but problems ever since. We have had issues each year with the unit. For the first three years of problems, we were not charged for parts or labor because we were told it was under warranty (Of course, we could not verify because they never gave us our warranty documentation). After 3 years, the company is all of the sudden charging us for labor and claiming that all of the other invoices were incorrect in taking off labor. Of course we have no documentation to verify, so it seems they are charging us what they want, when they want. They have been out multiple times this year and "fixed" multiple parts and the unit still didn't work properly. They eventually determined after all of the other repairs that this less than four year old unit is dead. The technician would plan a time to meet someone at the home and on multiple visits did not show up at the right time or date. The final work order was very misleading. One of the line items was to replace the compressor. The notes indicated that the compressor was cover under a parts warranty. So it appeared that the compressor line item (nearly $1500) would be covered under warranty. After CALLING to discuss with Raymond Walsh, he EMAILED us back claiming that we understood everything prior to authorizing work. He was very rude and insinuated that we were trying to not pay for the completed work. He threatened collections...all of this before discussing our confusion with us over a phone call. There were other frustrating details...too much to write down! Rude crooks if you ask me.

He stated that this was the easiest thermostat that he ever installed (and the first Honeywell WiFi programmable model) and wanted to purchase one for himself. Price was negotiated by Amazon ($74) for installation. Very reasonable. Took about one hour. I recommend this company for thermostat installation.

They had a cancellation and came day of immediately. Super nice guy, great company, would highly recommend. I was in dire straits, with our air conditioning unit leaking outside the overflow tray and the floor beginning to get soaked. I called the company, with whom we have a maintenance agreement, asking if someone could come at once. We had just completed repairs from an earlier overflow, resulting in extensive damage--two stories worth. The very sympathetic woman on duty must have relayed my request as urgent, for within two hours Dean arrived, addressed the leak, lifting the unit off the tray on metal straps, adding a second shut-off valve, and repositioning the tray. My husband and I are grateful to House Call for their courteous, prompt, and excellent service.

I don't write reviews, so wish I could write a good one. Select Home Warranty sent this company out to check out a/c unit. Repair man said it would take $1200 to fix but suggested not waste money based on the age of the unit. New unit $3000. When I called the warranty company they said they could not honor warranty because unit had not been propertly serviced. It was low on freon and the coil was dirty. When I realized they weren't going to pay I called a local company I'd used before. For $95 I was told the freon was full, the coil was less than a year old. An overflow value had gotten some debris in it and shut down the unit. And by the way the service man said he would come back for $250 cash after hours. As a lifelong business owner this stuff just makes me sad.

Bryant was extremely polite and experienced. He not only replaced the leaking garbage disposal with a brand new one (under my warranty), but during his testing saw that the opposite sink connection was leaking as well. Bryant showed me the area where the leak was occurring and spoke to my warranty company for me. I truly appreciate Bryant and hope that if I have another plumbing issue that I will get him again. The repairs have not yet been effected as parts were not immediately available, and due to other considerations concerning additional improvements which will need to be done after the first of the year. However as House Call promptly followed up on my request for repairs and an estimate and were very professional doing so, and I would highly refer them to any of my friends that needed these services.

House Call sent someone to our home regarding a few home inspection repairs. I was told beforehand that there would be an $89 Dispatching fee but that I would receive a quote for the work. When the day came for the appointment, the guy showed up 45 minutes early, without informing me. The technician took the list of repairs, walked through the house for about 10 minutes and the told me he needed to go back to his vehicle to contact his boss. 10-15 minutes later, he came back in the house to see about my availability the following week. He informed me that I would receive a quote at the next appointment and then I’ll make third appointment to have the work complete. For $89 I received nothing, no insight regarding the work, no quote and nothing complete. A complete waste of time.

Needed the inside parts replaced in 3 toilets. Called HouseCall Company and they dispatched 2 very polite technicians who looked at the toilets and then told me they needed to go outside to work up a quote(felt like I was at a car dealership). When they came back in a little while later, they gave me a quote of over $1000. I was in total shock. They tried to explain that they had no control over the quote. When I told them there was no way I would be paying that they then told me I had to pay the dispatch fee. Absolutely ridiculous. If they would have quoted me that price over the phone (which they apparently can't because they do not know what all would be required or more like they need to see what all they can possibly add to the scam) I would not have had them come in the first place. Highly recommend not using this company.

FAST response time!! Bryant C was friendly and professional. He was very knowledgable and kept my from freaking out at my "raining" kitchen. Bryant called my home warranty company several times without complaint and helping me as much as he could. Bryant needed to get my vanity removed and instead of making me take additional time off of work he got Chester to come out immediately. Chester's work was flawless and you could tell he enjoyed his work. These professionals were at my house helping me from 11:15am-7pm. By the end of the situation I was less stressed and able to laugh about what had happened, somewhat. I do not think I could have had a better outcome to a major issue.

This should be a zero star rating but that isn't possible. I had Leann out to my home and that was a total joke. She is supposed to be their interior remodeling person but she knows nothing about interior remodeling. She was late, she didn't know what to measure or how to measure, she could not answer my questions and was rude to me and disrespectful of my property. She tracked mud in, set sharp items down and slid them around on my counters, touched my walls with bare hands and left finger prints. The woman needs to go back to the barn that she was apparently raised in. After all of this I called the office and spoke to Jasmine and asked if someone else could come out who actually knows what needs to be done. When the answer was no I asked to speak with someone in management which was also met with a rude and resounding no. This company is a joke, I'm sure a person who knows nothing about the industry or remodeling could be persuaded to use them and they would have a real disaster on their hands with Leann at the helm of their project. Also, when their price finally came in, they were 3x higher than the next highest estimate I got.

Wonderful company! Would highly recommend! Very prompt, knowledgeable, professional and clean ( used booties and changed every time coming back inside) Did a thorough inspection, complete with pictures, and planned a course of action with options. Tech came to fix our toilet and leaky faucets through AHS Warranty but did not have proper equipment so has to come back next day. took care of toilet and repaired one faucet next day. told us they will come back when they have time to fix other faucets. he made all our house dirty and muddy, did not wear boots cover. worst is the shower/faucet he fixed now don't dispense HOT water (this was working fine before except for minor leak). called them back to see if they can fix it, tech says he doesn't have time and office says they cant come back till Monday (3-4 days). my father (handicap) uses that shower, I requested that he cant climb stairs to go to other bathroom but they don't care. asking me to get another plumber through AHS warranty. they don't give you time window for appointments.

My experience with the House Call Company was great. I was having issues with my valve in my shower and bathtubs. The tech that they sent out to do the work was name bryant and he was absolutely awesome. He showed up on time. He was polite and curtious. More than anything he was very knowledgeable. He made sure he explained everything he would have to so that I was aware of the process all the way through. What I appreciate the most was that he fixed the problem correctly and in a timely manner. He also made sure I was satisfied with his work before he left. He cleaned up after himself and he wore shoe covers over his shoes, so that he didnt mess up my floors and carpet. If you need any plumbing done the House Call Company is the place to call. As a sales professional focused on customer service, I could tell right away this was the right call. The owner, Dean Thomasson, arrived on time to assess the problem. We bought our system directly from House Call Company. We later joined there membership maintenance program and were told someone would call us to set up a cleaning. It has been a disaster! Once we signed on and paid our first 2 months of membership they never sent anyone out to clean our system to verify that it was running properly. When our AC acted up in 100 degree heat in July they blamed us for not setting up the cleaning and voided our membership. The office staff was extremely rude and dishonest about the membership and accused us of harassing them after no returned phone calls. To avoid having to honor their membership agreement they cancelled our contract and refused service. I do not recommend their company to anyone.

Called for an AC repair on a house we had a contract on for sale. They were to let themselves in via a contractor box and let me know what needed to be done. The AC wasn't reaching the desired temp by about 10 degrees and our realtor recommended we have it fixed prior to the inspection. My credit card was charged but I never received a call letting me know what the problem was. Several calls where they answered the phone "wanting to make me smile", left me just frowning. I knew the owners name and asked to speak with him and left 3 messages for him to call me back. NO CALL from DEAN THOMASSON at all. Still after over a week, no call. Nate that answers the phone there was able to give me the info that the technician found the system working properly but the filters needed changing. Strangely, at the inspection a few days later, the inspector found water in the drip pan and that the system was not working up to speed. Not sure what we have done to deserve this kind of treatment. We used this company in the past and were satisfied with their service. Currently, very dissatisfied. I have called the credit card company to dispute the charges for coming out. Not sure they even did.

I needed a water line replaced from my well tank to the house and a new electrical outlet installed. Sarrah , the person writing the quote, listened to what I needed and did not try to sell me something I did not need. The company does sub-contract, so I had a sub-contractor do the plumbing work and a House Call employee, Devon, complete the electrical work. There was a slight hick-up between the time I was told the workers would arrive and the actual time they showed up, about 90 minutes late. Once the workers did arrive, they were very professional, worked quickly, and did an excellent job. I would use them again.

First thing to note is a lot of the reviews here appear to be fake.. General rule of thumb... f you see a reviewer with only one or two reviews, I can almost guarantee it’s either fake or the "customer" was given a discount in exchange for a good review which by the way is illegal and anyone that had been duped by this company can sue them for false advertising, prohibited by the Lanham Act (a federal law). I really hope you can justify your reviews House Call! Onto the review.. My neighbor found these crooks online. She was having issues with her gas HVAC unit. It Did not have any power going to it and no heat. One of their guys came out and gave them an outrageous $2500 estimate to replace a system board and a few other things. When they re-fused to pay that he said they still owed him $695 for the estimate. They paid it unfortunately but are fighting their credit card company to get it back. The next day they called up An actual HVAC technician. He came out and replaced the gas valve (totally different part then what these crooks said was wrong) . Total with parts was $295. These guys are nothing but crooks. Avoid them at all costs. They give you an outrageous estimate that they know you will decline just so they can get paid for the estimate. We have recordings of the entire conversation in case they deny anything.

Terrible customer service!!! We submitted a request for service via the website and received a confirmation email saying someone would call us shortly to confirm and schedule an appointment. No One Ever Called. So we called them, to again, request an appointment for Monday. The lady we spoke to said they were available Wednesday and we said we were going to call around instead since this situation can't wait. She insisted that she could get a technician out here by Tuesday at the latest. Since she sounded confident that they had time for us, we agreed and we were put on a 'list' for the day and would receive a phone call approximately 30 minutes before the technician arrives. No One Ever Called. We called back to see what happened to our appointment and a different lady said that the previous person that 'helped' us didn't submit a "second ticket" and that she could set us up with an appointment an entire week later! We obviously can't wait and the only thing that she could say to us is shes sorry and could schedule an appointment for 6 days from now..... No thanks.... Obviously prospective customers are of no importance, I can't imagine how they treat you once they've gotten your money

Absolute Scam business. They came out to give a quote to install a Tesla wall charger for me. They were provided all the details in writing at what was needed. Once I confirmed it was for a Tesla they doubled the cost and then tried to extort a great review out of me to get a discount.
