I had Gault Electric install 3 ceiling fan fixtures in 3 upstairs bedrooms. The 2 electricians were professional, on time and completed the job in about two and a half hours. They also gave me a quick rundown on installing the fans. I will use Gault again for other projects coming up in a few months. The price was right and the service from the estimator Brett, to the actual work done was A++

I had this company install a microwave over my stove in November. The microwave worked great but I noticed a small issue after the installer left. I called and they immediately fixed everything to my satisfaction. They are timely and very professional.. I highly recommend them. Thanks Gault, I love my microwave.

Glad that Gault was assigned installation of our whole house generator through Lowe’s in 2011. Amber is the most knowledgeable technician. She initially found bad gas company connection, replaced parts blown by lightning, and has done yearly maintenance. She always explained service or potential problems of even ants getting into electronics. Gault has notified us of warranty items before Generac. Would definitely recommend their services, especially for generators with Amber looking out for her customers.

My A/C went down last evening and I gave Gault a call and message because it was after hours and I didn't consider it an emergency. FYI, they do have a tech available after hours if you need one. I recieved a call back in the morning letting me kniw that they would give me a courtesy call when the tech was 20 minutes away. The tech, Albert, arrived on time and went diagnosed the problem right away (a blown relay circuit board). Within 45 minutes, my AC was blowing cold air and the price charged was more than reasonable. Albert is extremely efficient and professional. Really knows his stuff. The young ladies I spoke with in the office are friendly, helpful and efficient as well. I highly reccomend these guys and gals.

Horrible experience with this company. Took 4 days to get an appointment, technician came to replace a breaker that was actually working when he arrived. Breaker was replaced within 30 minutes, about an hour after he left the electricity went out on the breaker he replaced and we lost all contents of fridge/freezer. The business offers an after hours service but calls made at 630 and again at 730 went unanswered, calls made to the technician went unanswered This has cost much more than the $158 service amount charged for making the situation worse!

Today, we had our fuse panel replaced with a circuit breaker panel. The service that we received was exceptional! Not only was the service great, but the value was awesome as well. The electrician that performed the work was Robert Taylor III, and he was an outstanding professional. He was prompt, efficient and friendly. His experience was evident in his performance, and while he worked, he paid close attention to detail, kept a tidy work space and cleaned as he went, and he continuously worked to make sure everything was right. It’s unusual to have work like this done, and at the end of the day be able to say that he was a pleasure to work with. Gault electric communicated very well with us up until the moment he arrived to ensure that we were well informed about the status of the job. I would recommend Gault Electric for any electrical needs, and it would be a bonus if you got Robert!

Gualt Electric was a contractor assigned by First American Warranty so I didn't select them but they were assigned to me. I had an appointment scheduled from 8-10 AM. They did call to say they would be there by 12 - but then they showed up at 2pm!! When I called to complain - the Owner or Manager was rude, disrespectful and then hung up on me when I told him I was going to file a complaint with the warranty company. If they are assigned to you - ask for another contractor!!

Upon regular HVAC maintenance the technician, Albert, found an unrelated leak from my water heater. He secured the part rearing the leak immediately. His calmness, thoroughness, and professionalism went beyond any service I have ever encountered. Gault Electric broke our new outdoor light on July 29, 2016 and promised to replace it right away. We have called them at least 6 times now and we get the same excuse. "The part was back ordered, or the part was shipped and lost or the part needs to be picked up at UPS". The light was broken by Gault Electric on July 29, 2016 and it is now September 8, 2016 and, it is STILL broken!!!!

Started off really well. They had done work for me and my relatives in the past. Been waiting 7 weeks for some simple trim rings that i could have gotten shipped in 2 days. kept calling and getting the same ol story that they were on back order. Cant get the sales person to answer any emails. When i threatened to cancel their contract and do a deduct, they got me on the schedule to finish. I will not recommend them from now on. What a shame.

Below I described an issue I had with Gault electric when I used them for recent AC work. It's fair to say that my review is different from several of the others posted on here and may out of character from their usual work. The owner of Gault called me after seeing my review here and made great effort to reach out to me and to prevent/correct this problem. I would certainly still hire Gault for other electrical work, and it's good to see a company where the owner takes such care in his work that would go to great lengths to reach out to me and address the situation. Hopeful for better service on my next service call in the future! ------------------------------------------------- This week, my AC started to slowly die, and I noticed the fan in the outside unit not turning. I called Gault who had serviced my unit previously. They were late arriving. When they came, they replaced the capacitor (as I was expecting), and they went to the blower unit to "check" I had freon (not sure what he checked because I never saw any equipment). He pointed his thermometer at my vents and said it should cool down soon (my house was at roughly 88 deg at this point). Then I wrote a check, and they left. My house never cooled down, and the outside AC unit and inside blower were both incredibly loud. The next morning, my house was 91 deg. I talked to someone at my work in the HVAC dept who recommended I turn off the unit. When he came just to check, he saw that the capacitor in the outside unit was mis-wired and showed me the wiring. After fixing the wiring problem, the outside AC unit sounded normal. We noticed that the blower unit was now not working. When we looked at the blower unit, the sticker on the blower requires a 10uF capacitor, but Gault had installed a 7.5 uF capacitor and that had blown (the next thing that could've blown would've been my whole blower unit which would be extremely expensive).
