Today I hired New England Electric to install a new generator at our farmhouse to prevent our heat from going out and pipes freezing, etc., in this insanely cold weather we have been having in Vermont. I am so glad I did! The guys who did the install were incredibly polite and considerate of our home. I was scared that I would not remember all the details of how to turn it on and use it in an emergency because my husband was not home, so the guys let me make step-by-step instruction videos with my phone to share with him later. It was extremely helpful. We practiced the scenario several times and drew a sample workflow of what to do as well. All in all, I feel very comfortable with the new generator and very glad I hired the right team to pick it out and install it, since I had no idea how to do that. Now I know we will be protected from power outages in future, which are relatively common where we live. Thank you to New England Electric for the many years of outstanding service, and especially this visit. I will have them back again in the Spring to make sure there are no electrical safety issues in our 1850s house and to install a light for our sign. I trust them because they really seem to know what they are doing and are great to work with.

They have been doing work for me for years now on multiple properties and have ALWAYS been top notch and exceeded my expectations with every single job. I called looking for them to address some items that came up in a Code Enforcement inspection. Despite the non-urgent nature of this work they came out immediately and even stayed slightly after hours without charging me an additional fee. Their technician was great to deal with and came prepared for anything with a fully stocked van. I also know from dealing with them on the commercial level for work that they are just as capable with large scale jobs. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Everyone knows how tough it can be just to find an electrician with time to take on a new job! Not only did John respond to my call promptly, he personally came out to the site of my small commercial project first thing the next morning. Just a few days later, Sam & Chris were there installing 48' of suspended lighting tracks for my new art gallery space in Burlington. They weren't just on time, but early (!), extremely knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and wonderfully tidy. When I realized I'd made a mistake in my own measurements, they couldn't have been nicer about coming back out for a second day right away to make the changes I requested. Last but not least, the price was beyond reasonable for the amount of work they did. I can't recommend them highly enough! Huge thanks again to John, Sam, Chris, and Rand for all of your help throughout this process. Couldn't be happier with the results!
