From start to finish everyone was incredibly professional: Darlene was great to talk with and schedule work through, also always responsive and there to answer any questions I had. Chad was my electrician and was so incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Showed up on time when promised, completed the work quickly and with high quality. There were no surprises on the bill and the work was done exceptionally well (other electricians claimed to have to put multiple holes in the wall that would need to be patched, and claimed the project would be cumbersome and difficult quoting a lot more money - I found none of that to be the case! Chad completed the project in one day and charged a really fair price also the work was done beautifully and no holes had to be repaired!). I also thought it was great that he really took the time to understand the job as much as he possibly could and walked me through his game plan so that I was with him each step of the way. Fantastic and honest company, exceptional workers, and a job well done!

We should have shopped around and gotten a few quotes first and asked for details on how they charge. But the electrician was great, and they did take one charge off our bill after I spoke with them.

We called Lakeside Electric to come and help us get the house up to code prior to the house going on the market. Dana came the following week and gavve us 2 lists - 1 with items that MUST be taken care of and the other list was of items that may or may not need yo be done. I was very impressed with the work Dana did and quickly contacted Darlene to ask for the remaining items on the list be taken care of and I want Dana to do the work. He is very profession and courteous. Over all I find Lakeside Electric to be very professional and competant to do what ever electric work we need done. They have been on time, courteous, professional, and accomplished what we needed. On a third occasion, we needed an electrician at the last moment during a kitchen remodel. Right after a holiday, they rearranged their schedule to fit us in! I highly recommend them.

We had a minor emergency in our home when a switch failed and resulted in melting of wire coatings within the wall switch box. It smelled very distinctly like there was a fire somewhere in the house. No flames or heat but we were worried about risk of an actual fire. Lakeside was recommended to us by an emergency services contractor. They assigned one of their staff electricians to come over right away. He responded quickly, assessed the problem efficiently, explained his findings in a way that was very easy to understand and repaired it professionally. We are very happy to have found this connection (pun intended) to a great resource for electrical repair services and will gladly recommend Lakeside to anyone in need a reliable, professional electrician. Second note skip ahead 4 months... we contacted Lakeside to do the electrical for a bathroom renovation for my mother. They did a great job of coordinating their work in phases with the other contractors included (carpenters and plumbers) and were very efficient and professional in making sure the bathroom was done correctly as well as correcting shortcuts found in the existing wiring configurations. 5 Stars.

Very pleased with the service provided by Lakeside Electric. This is the third time we've had to call in a short period of time to have a ballast replaced which I know is a small job from their perspective however a big deal if your the one under the light fixture that is out! They always respond in a timely manner, and it is also such a rare pleasure to actually speak to a human picking up the phone, without going thru layers of voice mail choices. Thanks and I would recommend Lakeside to anyone small or large jobs.

Dana from Lakeside was able to get out to our house to inspect the problem on the same day I called. He was then able to complete the work within a week -- I'm used to much longer waits when working with electricians, plumbers, etc. The work was completed with care and he explained why he was doing each thing while at the same time recommending items for maintenance and pointing out other items that may become an issue in the future. It doesn't hurt that the final bill came in a bit under their estimate. Lakeside Electric will be my first call the next time I need an electrician. Thanks!

Called to have a faulty outlet replaced. The scheduling was very prompt- and the responding technician was extremely polite and helpful. Even though we are young and most repair people brush us off, this guy was extremely informative and took the time to explain the problem and how to identify it in the future. My house suddenly got power off this evening, and tonight is below zero and Sunday, we were in panic. After talked with Green Mountain power, they suggested a couple of electricians, unfortunately, they rejected us because we are not in their user list. We called Lakeside and a nice lady immediately contacted their electrician and promised to send one after one hour. After got a breath, I went to try one more time to reset the switch outside the house. It magically worked. OMG! the lady canceled this emergency service. But I definitely saved the phone number in my cell phone and named Electrician. I would recommend this Inc for all my friends.

I was charged 80$ for an electrician to spend 15 minutes in my home to read the installation handbook for my thermostat (which I had already done) and tell me that he could not help me. He seemed unable to explain exactly what the issue was. He also left without providing me a bill -- I therefore assumed I would not be charged -- I was emailed a week later by billing and told I was being charged 80$.

Was able to reach someone on the phone first try on a Thursday for a non-urgent residential need (fan, light fixtures, thermostat upgrade), friendly receptionist told me they would give me a call back within a week and explained scheduling, billing, etc. They then reached out the following Monday and told me to expect the electrician Wednesday, he called Wednesday morning to check my availability and met me at the condo. With only 3 hours billing he fixed a few odds and ends with loose wires/missing connectors to take care of some housekeeping identified on home inspection, then installed a new fan and wall control, 2 thermostats, tightened up entire fusebox. Did not charge me for time to go to warehouse to get supplies and explained everything he was doing, gave me options, etc. Really great experience and I felt the price was more than fair for the promptness and professionalism. Will 100% recommend this company and use them again when it is time to replace a bunch of light fixtures.

I had a flood in my condo a couple of weeks ago. I needed an electrician on short notice to evaluate what outlets could be re-energized while the drying process continued.
