The estimator spent as much time with me as I wanted and gave me a complete review of my options. This is a VERY expensive part of home ownership, so choose wisely. When our air conditioner went out, we got great service!! The repairman showed us the problem and explained it clearly. The salesman had to check the repairman’s assessment to make sure it was accurate BEFORE selling us anything. He then was thorough in figuring out what we actually needed. (Our old furnace was too big for our home.) He was honest, patient with all our questions, NOT pushy, and gave us the best possible deal. In fact we saved over $5000 on an entire high efficiency furnace and air conditioner. (We already knew we would need both the cooler and furnace replaced. We were not “talked into” anything.). They offered us several different finance options to help us figure out how to pay for everything. The warranties are amazing!!! And they took care of all the rebates for us so we just had to wait for the checks in the mail. The installers came when they said they would, and got everything hooked up and running even faster than we were told it would take. They set up an appointment for dry walkers to come refinish a portion of the ceiling they had to cut through to vent the furnace according to code. (After 14 years, codes change.) We are pleased with the results, and excited to save money on heating and cooling costs.

Very Satisfied 8/12/2019 - Had another technician visit today (Harry). He did a very thorough check of my air conditioning system and found that it needs (at minimum) a recharge of Freon. He even cleaned my air filtration filters! He was very professional and explained everything he found. Again, I will call ESCO in the future for my home repair issues. Very Satisfied 8/22/2019 - Had another technician visit today (Taylor). He did another thorough check of my air conditioning system and furnace and, found that it wasn't really very low of Freon and, pointed out other mechanical and electrical internal parts that appeared to be close to failing. The A/C is 17 years old and, is possibly past its life expectancy. He thoroughly explained what issues could occur if the part or parts were to fail. I requested another visit from someone from ESCO who could possibly quote replacement costs. While Taylor was ultimately the "bearer of bad news", he was very through and informative. Very Satisfied with all of the technicians who have visited from ESCO and will continue to use them for any of my household issues. 8/26/2019 - And, today, a team of 3 technicians came out and replaced my heater as well as my central air. They did an outstanding job and cleaned up everything once complete. I was given a thorough walk through of all the work done and, all of the user needed information was provided to me very clearly. I would totally recommend ESCO to anyone needing quality, trustworthy services done on their home appliances. I will definitely be using them in the future for any of my household issues. Thank You ESCO!

Miguel came to do my annual plumbing check (free with the monthly membership). He walked with me to all of the plumbing fixtures, and showed me what he was checking and why. He tightened up a couple of loose connections, helping prevent leaks. He was very knowledgeable and able to explain everything clearly. He also cleared a drain for me and got it running smoothly again. I enjoy the security of knowing ESCO will be there in an emergency, which is why I pay for the monthly club membership. But it’s also awesome to get a free plumbing inspection, electrical inspection, and furnace/AC tuneup each year.

I had my air conditioner and furnace replaced. The technicians were courteous, professional, and patient while efficiently performing the work. Keny answered all my questions and submitted the scheduling requests for the duct cleaning and inspection prior to leaving. All equipment was tested and heating/cooling. My house and yard were tidied up before they left. Prior to commencing the job, Ty educated me on what to watch for with my HVAC system and was very helpful and understanding when negotiating my contract. I would strongly recommend ESCO to anyone needing HVAC equipment replacement.

I originally had planned on a simple declogging with the aid of a camera, but once inspected, Miko discovered that my plumbing needed a full blow out. Our bathroom sink had been slow-going and mostly clogged for months, and even after he worked on it, it wouldn't drain. He explained everything to me, gave me options, and never once made me feel like I had to do anything just because he presented the problem. After contemplating what to do, I very easily set up an appointment for a team to come and clear out my home's entire system. It was done very quickly with no interference (which was important because I have kids) and everyone was very professional. I won't go to anyone else if I have plumbing issues in the future.

We have been very pleased with our service and the furnace and ac systems. Would highly recommend ESCO for heating and air needs. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the confusing and misinformation we received on the financing and warranties. They did clarify and made sure we were happy with everything in the end. Todd was very informative, out of 5 companies he was the only one who took the time to measure windows and count heat registers to do a heat load on our home. Please read entire review. It starts off badly but ends well! My experience was quite a ride. Everything that could go wrong, did. The air conditioner didn't fit through the available doors and a different version had to be delivered from a nearby town. It took an extra couple of hours to install because of this. Obviously it could not be turned on during this and it was over 100 degrees that day. The first install guy was a complete nightmare. Rude AND incompetent. In the end a new installer had to come, uninstall the furnace that had just been installed, and completely redo it. Took a full extra day. Obviously the air conditioner was off for hours during the redo and again it was over 100 degrees outside. (My poor dog laid on the air vent and was so unhappy no cool air came out. It was sad sad sad sad.) Next up the humidifier! The humidifier I was sold couldn't be used as it was too big for the vent area available. I really want and need a humidifier and the only one that fit was $1800 more. Finally, I need to mention that the first installer broke the drywall behind the furnace... so the nearby bathroom now needs drywall repair. Problems with the air conditioner, the furnace, and the humidifier. And how did it end? Nate, the new installer did a fantastic job on everything. Looks good and runs great. Esco sent out supervisors to see why I was complaining about the first furnace intallation immediately and sent out a new installer who was an absolute pro, very friendly, and very professional. He kept me informed about every step of the project. The furnace looks beautiful. Weird thing to say about a furnace, but true. The drywall is scheduled to be fixed within for 6 days of the completion of the install and I have complete faith it will be a good job. Given all of this I would still give Esco a 5 star rating for delivering what they promised - a top notch job. Note: The first installer no longer works for the company and the second, Nate Rodriguez, is amazing. A bomb! I would use them again.

Prompt friendly service! Mike Baker tuned up my air conditioner. Found the motor capacitor worn and needing replacement. Showed me the worn part. Cost was very reasonable. No pressure to change unit, upgrade (or in my case, downgrade to a smaller unit to fit my ductwork,) or join the company insurance program. I have used this company in the past at another address and found them to be capable and reasonable, especially if you apply the coupons in their mailer. Highly recommend!

WOW! These guys are incredible. Call them right away if you have any problems, inside or out, small or large! From beginning to end we were completely satisfied, or as they promise, DELIGHTED! The initial bid supplied by Cody was thoughtfully and carefully done. He united the four households responsible for the water line to our houses. No small task as each situation was different. We were especially glad to see that the total of the bid was guaranteed--no extra charges. THE man on the--Devin--saved the day, over and over. The problems were many and huge and Devin solved them all. He outworks half a dozen men--even tunneling beneath one of the houses on his belly like the best of inchworms. All would be well in this world if everyone worked like Devin does! The man to finish the job, the last awful and frustrating details, was Kendall himself. Always cheerful, always patience, always finding an impossible solution, Kendall, he's our man. And Mister Inspector and final helpmate, Pete, came in at the end and checked everything, even washing the wall of one house himself. What a good sport. I'm telling you, this is a company of workers. Harry was great in servicing our furnace. He went over in fine detail about things in our furnace. Nothing has ever been explained to us before in this same manor. We appreciate the time he spent with us. We also appreciate him listening to us and letting us vent about our dissatisfaction of how our furnace was sold and installed. We felt like we were sold a bill of goods. We were told a 96% efficient furnace would save us 60%. It saved us absolutely nothing, not one penny. We did not need a new furnace at the time. We just wanted to save energy and money on our bill. It was a bad decision on our part, but we wanted to believe the sales person. Then afterwards when we found out there was no savings, we tried to contact our sales person, but he would not return our calls. Then when we had Jens out, I believe it was to service our furnace, we mentioned to him that in the afternoon the sun would shine on the wall where the thermostat was and would cause the air conditioner to run more than needed because of the heated up wall. He suggested in putting a different thermostat in on a different wall around the corner. Also, we should put in another cold air return downstairs. He set the thermostat to run the fan constantly to circulate the air which he said would make it all run more efficiently. Is all it did was cost us another large amount of money and nothing changed except our electric bill went up higher and we had to change our filter twice as much which was bad since we have to have the filter custom made at $10.00 each. Then when it came time to turn the furnace on it would not start. A female came out, not sure of her name, to trouble shoot. It took quite awhile with her being on the phone with Jens to finally figure out that there was a switch that had been turned off. Jens accused us of turning it off which we had not touched the furnace. There were a few more things about the people who came in to expect our electricity and water as we had signed up for the maintenance program and also some outdoor electrical work we had done when the wiring to our pond went out. Sorry, but I an short of time so I will pass on the details. All in all we had many problems with Esco. We cancelled the maintenance plan and decided we would only use Esco for the service of the furnace for the warranty. However, we feel good about Harry and his advice. He told us about some changes in the company which he felt would fix the problems. We will use caution as we go forward with Esco service and perhaps you will win our confidence back. Laura Lance

Sadly, I have to update my review. After being told that our furnace was condemned for unsafe carbon monoxide levels by ESCO, I contacted our home warranty company and paid the $65.00 deductible only to be told by two other separate contractors that our system is completely fine. So while the technicians were friendly, I don't feel they were very ethical. Their scare tactics (continually bringing up the safety of my children, etc.) were dishonest and seem to be very likely connected with a bonus or commission for swindling me. Don't be fooled by the seemingly overwhelming positive reviews. This company is more concerned with making money at your expense.

The tech. Jimi, was on time and courteous. After checking the furnace, he said I needed a new filter (one). I told him there were two filters and had to show him the second one (not hidden). He changed them ( my filters). and then went out to the outdoor unit. Right away, he said the capacitor was bad and a new one was $240 less 10% as we have been customers for over 15 years. He installed the new capacitor, checked it, then said he would be in with the paperwork. 15 min later, he came in with the invoice on his pad. I payed the total and he left. I checked Amazon and found the identical capacitor for $50.00. Quite a disparity. Bet this doesn't show up on the reviews.

Don’t waste your money! I called to have a plumber come out because our toilet keeps getting clogged. I have been able to clear out the clogs and get it flushing but it’s been slow and based on what it takes to get it flushing, I’m sure my kids flushed a foreign object! When I made the appointment I was told that they would call to confirm a time and they didn’t. I followed up and was told I’d get a call back but I didn’t. I waited around hoping they’d show up and finally did! The plumber poured a few buckets of water down the toilet, said I have a terrible toilet and left. I asked about a camera, snaking, or something to check for a foreign object and was told there was nothing he could do because it was flushing. What?! Am I crazy that I think there have been more to this visit than what happened?? I feel like I went to the car dealership because my brakes aren’t working as well as they should and they told me it’s a bad car and I just need to buy a new one from them! That would never fly and my service experience with ESCO should NOT be how a plumber deals with a client. ***Update**** My husband took apart our toilet to replace it and there was a VERY OBVIOUS hotel shampoo bottle stuck in it!!!! If the plumber had used the camera like I’d asked he would have found it! ESCO offered me a gift card for future services and said they talked with the plumber so nobody else will have the experience I did.

I called around to find someone who was available to look at our AC that was on the fritz. It was a Saturday afternoon so we weren't having much luck, including with the company that had installed it a few years back. It's been really hot lately so I didn't want to wait until Monday. Finally I called ESCO and they were able to get someone out. I want to give Taylor Kranendonk a special thanks. He called a couple of times to let us know where he was and how long it would take him to get here. When he arrived he was very courteous and got right to it. After a through inspection of our equipment and a very good explanation of what the problem was (low on coolant), he topped it off and then tested again to make sure it solved the problem. Which it did. I was a bit expensive, which I suppose it understandable due to the time of our call, but the service was outstanding and we slept in cool comfort that night so it was well worth it. I would recommend ESCO and specifically Taylor.
