Found these individuals to be professional, courteous, and customer-focused Update: 10/15/2019: Have to enter my comments and adjust the rating about my recent experience in trying to get an electrician out to my house. I wanted to have an electrician sent to my home to provide a quote to install a 30-AMP circuit breaker. I provided that information to the scheduler. However, I had to have a plumber to come to my home so he/she could say I needed an electrician. This was such a waste of time and unreasonable waste of resources. I cancelled the service call.

All the techs that have visited my home have been friendly, knowledgeable, do a good job in explaining the situations and get the job done! I have to say as a road technician myself...That I will never use a different company after my experience with the gentleman that came to my home today to fix my ac...The gentleman (Lionel) that came to my home was so respectful and honest and took the time to explain all he was doing..He did not try and sell me everything under the sun...he gave me a few options on how to get the situation under control...When I said what I wanted he was very professional...And went straight to work... I am a first time customer. I called on Monday and the earliest appointment was Friday from 9 to 1. The electrician did not arrive till around 4 PM. I told Customer Service the directions to get to my house because the GPS is are all screwed up when it comes to my address. But the customer service representative did not pass that information on to the electrician and he called me because he was lost and was 40 minutes away from my house. I had asked, when I made the appointment, could I be the first customer on Friday morning at 9 o’clock because I had another service man putting up a satellite dish who needed the electrical work done before he could do his work. The other workman got here at three although he started calling at two and waited for the electrician to get here. For being an old, retired, handicapped, priest the bill of almost $600 was more than I had in the bank. I was then forced to join some club, that cost $29 a month for one year, that brought my bill down $100. The electrical work was finished, but I had other things to for the electrician to do, but he was too tired and is coming back next week. Unfortunately, the other technician was not able to complete his work successfully because of the stress and it was getting dark. He too is going to have to come back and correct his work. Google gave me two companies that they guaranteed. This company got five stars. The other company, Mr. Sparky, got 4 1/2 stars. Unfortunately, I went with the wrong company. The Google Guarantee said if I was not happy, they would pay the bill. I’m not happy! Would you be happy? I’m waiting for Google to call and send me a check! Good Luck!

I would like to state that I received the most outstanding air condition service that I have ever received. My air conditioner stopped cooling so I called Jon Wayne Service company and they sent a Tech by the name of Carlos out to fix my system. Carlos was very polite and professional in all his actions in repairing my system. He explained everything he was doing. He had my system up and running in about an hour and a half. Carlos was the most professional technician that I have had working on my systems I have ever had. Jon Wayne Service Company should feel very lucky to have such a professional on their staff. I have requested that the same service person service my A/C unit for over 3 years. They tend to get use to the servicing the same unit year after year which is good. I request that you send back any of the Hispanic service personal to service my unit again I do not like having to grade the service member with that person looking over my shoulder at how I grade them. Mr. Richard L. Edges M.Sgt. USAF Retired PS the above rating is real and I gave the technician the same grade on his paper work. This form is very difficult to work with.

I had just purchased a home and the AC went out in less than a week. My home warranty did not cover it. From the very first call the customer service was amazing. Rose was very polite and helpful and was able to get someone out quickly. Dylan came to assess the AC unit and offered so much information about the system I had. I originally gave this company a 5 star rating but after a week of having problems with my HVAC and doing all repairs they suggested, spending over $2500 my system is still not fixed. The owner was quick to respond to the five star rating I gave before. I’m hoping to get a response and a phone call after this rating. And my unit fixed would be nice to have as well.

After dealing with Roto-Rooters BS I decided to call Jon Wayne. I've been using them for years now and they are top notch. Their receptionists are always friendly and happy to help. Their specialists are extremely courteous and they always give us explanations in layman's terms. On top of all that, they also give us honest to God multiple options when it comes to fixing an issue. Highly recommend anyone using them. I even got their monthly membership which is super cheap.

Very professional company. I called Jon Wayne because of a couple issues we were having with our AC system (not installed by them) & needed a legit recommendation. The service advisor that came out (Dylan Fisher) was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and I believe he was honest about his recommendations. We decided to replace the entire system and start new in an attempt not to waste any more money with the old. Our duct work was also replaced as it was 33 YEARS OLD. The team of installation specialists (lead by David Luciano)were just as impressive as Dylan! They too showed an exemplary dedication to get the job done right...the first time!! I can't say enough about their no nonsense work ethic! We've only had the new system two days, so I'm not able to grade on that yet, but so far so good & as they say you get what you pay for. I can't even tell its running its so quiet, and my house is cool & cool in places it never has been before. I'm glad I randomly chose them!!

We contacted John Wayne yesterday afternoon due to a/c issues and were able to get someone out today, which was a quick turn around since it’s summer. Lane came out to service our ac as it had not been cooling the house. Turns out we had a bad blower motor, which he was able to replace. He informed us about saving money by becoming part of John Wayne Club program, so we did and were surprised to learn all the great perks to joining. Lane was friendly and professional the entire time. He ended up working with us for about 4 hours (he had to order parts and go pick them up) and we appreciate all his hard work. Recently had to have a technician come out when the AC went out. Called around 730 pm expecting to have some one come out in the AM. Jon Wayne gave me an appointment for that evening and around 9pm technician came out. Before 1100 pm the AC was fixed and house was cool again. The temperature has been in he high 90s so it was quite hot in the house. The technician (Cobey) was very professional and realized the problem immediately. We have had other AC companies over the years and none can compare to Jon Wayne. Great customer service. Thanks again!

Talk about as a woman being treated with respect. I could not have asked for a better gentleman than John Wars. John paid attention to detail on everything I was explaining had happen when the "other" tech had come and gone. He went through step by step and of course there were a few extra steps before realizing the issue was something I had mentioned to the "other" tech was not looking right when he left. It was dark when he got there and being that late did not matter to him. I don't mean to... ok YES I DO mean to put John on a pedestal but this guy ROCKS!!! He truly knows his stuff when it comes to A/C repair. Even if he gets a little shock along the way. John still took it like a champ. Talk about a valued employee. My A/C has been working great from the moment he left and I am sure it will be working fine hopefully for a long time. John will definitely be the guy I ask for to service my A/C unit in the future. I understand extenuating circumstance but more often than not, appointments are rescheduled due to Jon Wayne's inability to meet their original commitment. Carlo did a fantastic job with our service today. Our AC stopped working and he took time to explain what happened and educated us on how we can better maintain our system. After a few not so great experiences with the company, we were impressed with Carlo’s knowledge and professionalism. Easy to schedule an appointment. Polite. Showed up to appointment on-time! Five stars. Update: 8/31/2019 - Entertained a second appointment only to receive a bloated verbal estimate. Minus 1 star. Update: 9/3/2019 - Still waiting on a written estimate. Minus 1 star. 9/25/2019 - They did not like the fact I asked for a written estimate that explained the price quote. The company will just give you a final number with little to no detail. Reducing my score to 1 star. For the record, I found another company that was more than willing to go over the details. It cost me $300 more that what Jon Wayne quoted but at least I know exactly what I’m getting. Shop around folks!

I scheduled a convenient appointment for a Saturday and Jake Pettit was promptly on time. He explained everything thoroughly and didn't try to pressure or push a sale once. One of the best visits I've had from a service company! The following Monday they were there to install, friendly, professional, and courteous. A great experience from beginning to end! Thanks to Bryan, the technician, for his good work! Bryan is friendly, knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. He took time to explain and gave me options to select. The customer service lady was nice, but did not schedule my appointment properly. I left my work early today to go home for the appointment and planned to go back to work, but I couldn’t because the time frame was too long. (I was told the time frame 9:00-1:00, but the technician arrived almost 2:00). Overall, it was good.

He explained everything very carefully and assured me I did not need a new unit just to charge the system correctly. In would have been very easy for him to just say my unit needed replacing since it is an older unit. These days it's refreshing to have a professional perform service on a system in your house. Tom with Jon Wayne was courteous, communicated every detail with us, and had a great attitude. I trusted his assessment of our AC problem (rare for me). I highly recommend both Tom as a technician and Jon Wayne as a company. Our house is only 4 years old but the AC was so poorly installed that it developed a blockage in the coolant lines. Abel gave me a good description and plenty of options - everything from a minimal "fix" to system replacement. I'm not a fan of patching over multiple years so I decided to replace the entire system. Abel got us scheduled for the next day! The team of installers laid down a trail of floor protection, dismantled the old system, and installed the new one in about 9 hours. As they were wrapping up, the smart home technician arrived and installed our new thermostats. Every member of this team is very knowledgeable and willing to answer any question you might have. My experience was very positive. Glad I joined their Rescue Club!

This should be no stars. I wanted an estimate to replace two showers and I confirmed on the phone this was work Jon Wayne does and could deal with most types and materials. I chose not to do business with Jon Wayne after experiencing difficulty in first scheduling an appointment for an quotation and then the plumber / estimator arrived very late. Schedule window was 11AM - 3PM. He arrived around 6:30 PM. The dispatcher called around 2:30 PM and said the plumber would be a little late. The plumber / estimator was very respectful and looked at both work sites and then said he'd have to have someone else come out to give me a quotation. I was very clear on the phone what the project was so it is a bit of a mystery why Jon Wayne would send a person who couldn't develop the quotation. The plumber schedule the second person to come to my home on Friday afternoon to look at the job. I cancelled this appointment as I do not wish to waste anymore time with this company. They wasted seven plus hour of my time already. During this event, I interacted with the on-line chat after 5 PM (polite but unable to handle my concern); I called the office a little after 5 PM and asked for a manager and she said they all left for the day. The person I spoke with said she made a note and would have a manager call me in the morning. This never happened.

They have a program called Rescue Club where with a very reasonable monthly fee they'll come out for a complete tune-up of an installation or services done including coverage of replacement parts. No Charge. Technicians are very professional, courteous friendly and knowledge of not only their task at hand but putting themselves in the customers place. Today Daniel came by and serviced both our central AC but the plumbing as well. Checked water pressure, tested water hardness, and we all know San Antonio water is in a class of it's own. Plainly put, he checked anything and everything that pertained to plumbing. Did the same with the ac. If it isn't doing what it was supposed to be doing he had it corrected. Sure you can say "Isn't he supposed to do that in the first place?". Yeah, well I've been impressed by the services Jon Wayne has provided us. I was expecting two trucks to be parked outside. The technician was fast and courteous. The entire troubleshooting and repair took less than 1.5 hours. My system is outdated and required some refrigerant no longer produced, and that stuff ran me like $250 for 5 lb. I don't really know how much I can fault Jon Wayne Service Company for the cost of this refrigerant though, I know that is a fair market Price if you include labor and Storage in a service environment. Just wish it didn't have to happen to me. Aside from that, the house is cool again, Things are less humid again, and there will be a lot less sweating at night upstairs. The techs were nice and courteous, however they company pushes memberships and packages. I do not agree with this, as is pushes them to be sales people and not down to earth techs. I couldn't get a straight answer on the issue or a best course of action/best practice, only a booklet being shown to me with 3 different packages to proceed. It made the techs appear un-knowledgeable and dropped my confidence with them. I had another company come out to get a second opinion and they were very technical and answered every question in detail as well as offered thorough solutions. Found out there was several leaks and the system was not installed correctly to begin with (another company 6 yrs ago), and there was oil around the outside unit and drips on the inside unit. These issues were not pointed out by Jon Wayne Techs. The new company did not charge to check the unit over or to visit and when we told them we paid 100/lb coolant (500 total) they were shocked as they only charge 50. This whole ac unit issue has been such an ordeal. I just wish we could get back good old fashion AC techs and not have them pushing packages and memberships to "save"...

Mike did an outstanding job during time solving and fixing my problems. In addition to the original problem I suggested with the condensate drain having a high level causing the unit to shutdown, Mike found problems with the outside condensing unit. One the units fan motor was not working and the other with starting coil for the fan needed to be replaced. Mike happen to have spare parts with him in his company van. This saved a lot of time getting the system back up and running. Mike was courteous, answered questions, knowledgeable, well trained and polite. We had an appointment scheduled from 2pm - 6pm. I had to take half a day off from work in case they actually showed up at 2pm. By 5:45pm we hadn't heard from them so we called. The lady stated that she had to get a hold of after hours to get us an update. After hearing 'after hours' we knew they weren't coming.. but she assured us they had a crew working until 10pm. She called us back and said they would not be showing up today. I completely understand that it's the busy summer season and unfortunately not all appointments can be met. But what if we wouldn't have called for an update? Would their customer service have had the courtesy to eventually call me and tell me to stop waiting because they were never going to show? Would they apologize for me having to take half a day off? No, we had to track THEM down. As a professional business they should be taught to update their clients when they aren't planning to show up. We had so many choices to pick from and unfortunately chose a company that has no respect for their client's time. I would not do business with them again and do not recommend them to anyone.

Today we had our toilet from the 1970"s replaced by Jon Wayne service company in San Antonio. it was a very easy process from start to finish thanks to Bobby Terrell. He was the most professional, polite, and friendly plumber i have ever encountered. Upon arrival he showed what the company had to offer and was very patient with me while i went back and forth trying to decide if i would purchase the toilet at a big box store or go with one of theirs. In the end i decided to go with theirs and am happy with my decision. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. I highly recommend Jon Wayne Service Company and plumber Bobby Terrell.

All of the employees are very courteous and professional. They kept all of my house clean while they worked. They worked hard to get the job done and answered all my questions without hesitation with deep knowledge about their product. The price tag is a little too much, but I’d rather pay for for their services knowing I won’t ever have to deal with my AC unit again than go with another company just to save a little bit of money. Had annual maintenance performed on a 2 yr old unit installed by Jon Wayne. Technician flushed the unit but it didn't drain. His solution? Put more water down the drain, then investigate. When he checked the line he noticed a crimp was causing the water not to drain. His solution? Jon Wayne plumbing can fix that for you. He recommended getting them out soon to make sure the water flushes. Too late. Water had already backed up and water spots appeared on my ceiling. 30 minutes later it was dripping on my floor. I called Jon Wayne back to find out what to do and they said someone would call me back. An hour and a half later they did. By that time my husband had already driven home, fixed the crimp and found a gasket sitting on top of the a/c unit in our attic. The Jon Wayne supervisor immediately began telling my husband about the crimp issue explaining that his technician has advised me to fix it until my husband asked about the gasket. To the question shouldn't this have been on the unit instead of on top of it, his simple reply was yes. Problem solved, but not by Jon Wayne.

Second encounter, this one emergent. Same serviceman, Juan. This company is truly excellent! Their service calls when they say they will call. They arrive when they say they will be there. All problems are explained in terms that can be easily understood, and costs are clearly outlined- very reasonable, too! Juan is courteous and considerate- he wears shoe covers in the house and cleans everything up that has been used. In less than 24 hours things were back to normal. I will be a customer for life. Cobey was very informative and professional. He arrived on time and explained everything I had any question about. He made me feel comfortable that I was getting great value for my money. Originally we called Jon Wayne our to get an estimate on a new system (which we will probably get from them) and he was able to resolve a couple issues with our a/c unit to keep us cool until we could make the responsible decision. They know they aren’t the cheapest, but their service is worth the little extra that you spend. You know it is being done right, or they will come back to make it right.

Jon Wayne was awesome! They identified a potential safety risk and came up with a plan that was efficient and cost effective. They found major code violations that my home inspector missed. They were not “fishing” for revenue as they completed work and found the issues after I asked them to install a new outlet. The guys that came to do the work were competent and courteous and worked fast in order to make sure our AC had power first since the temps were rising outside.
