I found Peter (owner of B and C Electric) using google and also looked at his reviews on Yelp (overwhelmingly positive) and called him about a blown circuit breaker. He was very courteous and respectful of my time and arranged to come over as soon as he could. While at the house, he was very efficient and focused on identifying the issue (a burned up wire in a receptacle) that could have taken hours. He was able to identify the issue within an hour and repair it within another thirty minutes, which was very helpful for me as I was on a time crunch with work (he was basically able to get it fixed on a "long lunch" for me). He was very professional and knowledgeable and I will definitely use him in the future and recommend his service!

I recently purchased a new home that needed grounding and the addition of a new outlet and Peter was extremely helpful in explaining and fixing our issues. Although there have been a negative reviews about contacting/scheduling issues, Peter responded to my initial inquiry and all follow-ups almost immediately and arrived and completed the job in a timely and effective manner. I highly recommend B&C Electric to anyone and will be using them again for any electrician needs I have in the future.

I have not had much experience with using an electrician so I turned to Google and Yelp for reviews of local electricians. I am extremely glad I did. I called 4 companies. Two never called back, one called back, made an appt and then canceled, but B&C came out within 48 hours of my call and on a Saturday. Peter is the owner and only employee for B&C. He spent over two hours reviewing my list of items explaining what I needed and didn't need and gave me a free estimate. He even spent time looking at my a/c that was acting up and did not charge me a service call. And he ended up being able to fix it the 2nd time he came out. Again, for no additional fee. He is very honest, hard working, provides exceptional service and is extremely reasonable with his prices. I had my panel replaced and moved, a new meter box and riser, 4 can lights installed, 6 GFCI outlets added and new circuits added. He was able to complete this job within a few days and was very prompt and respectful of my home and my time. Peter even showed me how to do a few things on my own for the future reference. Peter came to my house to replace an old Federal Pacific panel and also installed a new meter box and riser. Basically he brought my whole house up to code. He did an awesome job on the work, was extremely detailed and careful, and even took the time to explain to me the ins and outs of how various things worked (I know very little about electrical). On top of his excellent work, he is very kind and I really enjoyed talking with him. All in all my experience couldn't have been better - don't miss out on Peter and B&C if you need electrical work done!

I called B&C at the start of our remodeling project and Peter was flexible and great about working with and around all the work we had going on with the house. He ended up having to break his work into 3 different trips to fit us into his busy schedule and to accommodate all the work in ours too. Peter saved us over $7000 last week when our downstairs air conditioner went out. A/C people said we needed a new unit while Peter came in, crawled under the foundation and discovered it was a fried wire to the fusebox. Fixed it on the spot and A/C is working just fine. He also seems to be extremely knowledgeable about wiring in older houses, which is an extra added bonus as we live in Lakewood. Can't recommend him enough.

I found B&C Electric via Google. I explained to Peter I was given a quote by another company that I felt was extremely high. He came over to review and discuss my projects and true to his word, he gave me a fair quote. Peter and his helper spent the entire day working on the various lighting projects. I was thoroughly pleased with theirs work. Everything was neatly installed and they laid a protective sheet over my carpet and furniture. I would highly recommend Peter to my friends and co-workers. I am very satisfied with the work Peter and his assistant performed. Peter switched out my old Federal Pacific panel fuse box that was a fire hazard with a new safe and up-to-date fuse panel box.
