We moved into our home about 3 months ago and our inspector that we had retained had warned us about the electrical system in our house. He was RIGHT!! VERY BIZARRE. My wife would use her hairdryer in one bathroom and throw the circuit breaker in the opposite end of the house!!! First, this electrical repairs are NOT an inexpensive job. I knew going into the work that we were talking thousands and not hundreds of dollars. Second, I feel that piece of mind is worth some sum of money (not sure how much, but worth it). So there we are. When Brandon initially came out , he could see that our home that did not meet Code and he told us this. This was basically the same items that our home inspector had told us. He gave us a price and we discussed each item and took things out and put things in to the repair estimate (like the surge protector). We agreed on a price. We got a call the day before the repairs AND on the day of the work. The team worked solid for over 5 hours. Brandon and Hunter showed me the surge protector. It was an Eaton system, and from what I know about Eaton is that you might pay slightly more for their parts but they are a quality manufacturer who stands behind their products. The same was true for the panel box manufacturer. We also had a bit of miscommunication which I will say was my fault as much as anyone else's. I said that I wanted an outlet to charge my "ELECTRIC CAR" like a 220 charger that you can hang on the garage wall, and I think that Brandon heard that I wanted a charger for my "TESLA CAR". (electric car vs. Tesla car). So he DID give us an estimate for the dedicated line, but neither my wife or I caught that it said "Tesla" on the plug. So as he was installing the 220 line, he said "there's your Tesla plug" and I said "No, that's not what we wanted." Literally it was a "change order" but I blame miscommunications. Not being familiar with electrical repairs, all that we knew was that we wanted an outlet that would furnish us power to charge our Nissan LEAF. Brandon heard something different. Regardless, he did install a dedicated 110 outlet that is literally RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE WE PARK OUR LEAF!! This is exactly what we wanted. So at the end of the day, how would other electricians have handled the same situation?? I was VERY happy with my panel box; my 110 outlet; and the fact that they cleaned up after their work. The TEST of the work by Arrow Electric was yet to come. Mark Thatcher (owner of Arrow Electric) came out to our homes on the morning of the City inspection. We both had been given a window of 2 hours by the City, and Mark wanted to be sure that someone was there to answer questions. He was VERY nice and we BOTH enjoyed a late morning coffee as we waited for the inspector. When the inspector showed up, it was VERY obvious that Mark and him had lots of work with each other. (THAT is a good sign.....I want someone who has had their work reviewed by the City and whom the City has some respect) The work passed and we had our green tag. Our home's electrical system is NOW safe. The "take away" from this experience has been very positive for me. First, you can go to less expensive repairment or people who will suggest that they can save you money (for example, no City Inspection), or you can go with a quality company. You will hear things like "our company guarantees this work" or "our company guarantees the fusebox", but you later discover that their company is only 5 years old! Where is your repair company when you need their warranty 15 years from now??!! We have had 2 roofs put on our home by companies that no longer are around - - but they were "guaranteed"!!! Arrow Electric has been around for a good number of years AND I could verify that they use only quality parts. I recommend Arrow Electric for your work. Hunter and Brandon make a good team and I would ask for them again. You do NOT want to take a chance on a "low bid" electrical job in your home, and you want only quality parts to be used. Arrow does both and more. Ask for the team of Hunter and Brandon!

The guys who came to my house were very diligent and thorough. Plus they were able to figure out and.fix an issue with my A/C. I didn't realize they were going.to cut a hole in my wall to install the point of service surge protector but I would probably have agreed if asked. Update: I've lowered my rating by one star because despite my posting a favorable review right after my service a few months ago, I continue to receive irritating emails every couple of weeks asking me to post a review!! Beware of you use this company, they will never leave you alone about posting a review for them--even if you already have!

The services provided were excellent, however, the pricing was a bit high. The electrician rewired a new pool light for me for a price $325. Leslie's Pool Supply told me to rewire the new light they would only be charging $184, but couldn't do until 5 days later. If I had not had a pool party that weekend, I would have gone with Leslie's Pool Supply.

Ok, round two! But this one is a good one! The GM, Rodney, got involved and called us to see if we would let him make it right. He personally came to our house, oversaw the installation and decided that he wanted to take care of the situation free of charge. He truly felt bad and wanted to make things right in order to repair the situation. And he did. The technicians that he brought with him were very courteous and knowledgeable. Asked them to come out and check an outlet connection that was not working. Got a $243 estimate without him going into the wall to determine the issue. It was a diagnostic and worst case scenario repair rolled in one estimate. If it were just a simple loose wire, or outlet replacement it would still be $243. No thanks.

The workmanship was good, But they did not secure a permit for their work as is required by state law; Then when I told them about it, They wanted to charge me more, Which should have done in the first place; I had to call the city and arrange the inspector to come and see the work, Then the inspector found couple of minor issues with their work, Then I had to call them to come and fix the problem, Which they again charged me for the permit, Then after they fixed their problem, I had to again call the inspector to check the work; All these extra work had to be done by them and without the extra charge; They have not apologized for their short coming with no refund; Not really happy about the experience.

I used Arrow Electrical when I had an issue with my AC condenser unit not receiving 240V. I had a technician from Arrow electrical come by and diagnose the issue. It turned out the problem was with the transformer on the outside of the house so I had to call up Oncor to fix the issue. Now for a 5 mins diagnosis I was charged $397 which I think was really high. Not to mention during a few calls with the technician he would always remind me about the diagnosis fee and it sounded they were interested only for the money and I saw very little integrity in them. I would not use them unless I have a real emergency. In this case it was my rental property and I had to fix the AC for the tenant who had little kids at home during the texas heat. In short they are superb expensive and seem to be interested in only Money.

Brandon was on time, professional, and friendly. He started off by asking questions about the issue, which was that we lost power to part of the house. He quoted me the cost to the diagnostic work but before he started he went breaker box and check each individual circuit and found one that was partially tripped. He flipped it off and then back on and the power was restored. He explained and showed me what I need to do in the future and didn't charge me for the call, which he justifiably could have. Great customer service Arrow Electric! I will definitely be calling these guys again.
