Called and set up an appointment for a quote, they sent a gentleman named Shannon I believe. He was on time and extremely professional. Quote matched the scope of the work and the electrician Matt once again was early and worked tirelessly to complete the work on time. I was so impressed by the first job that I hired them to install a new panel and 200 amp service and Matt and crew showed up early and knocked out the job on time and on budget. I had an issue with the electrical a few days after the job was complete and even though I called and was uncharacteristically rude to the receptionists they came back out and corrected the issue at no additional cost. I strongly recommend Amp if you want timely, friendly, and hard working electricians to perform your next electrical job. I can’t say enough good about Matt and how well he represents Amp Electric and the service industry as a whole. Thanks!

Since building a new home in the area, I have needed help from electricians to complete a few jobs. I had so much trouble finding someone, they often didn’t answer or return calls. Then I found Amp. A very cheerful person answered my call, scheduled an appointment, and the service guys were here promptly at their appointed time. They got my problems figured out in no time! What a relief! I’m their biggest fan.

I needed outlets installed behind my wall mounted TV's. The service tech that was dispatched (Matt) was extremely courteous and helpful. Due to the limited space in our attic and the both outlets being located on exterior walls, the installation was going to be a little more than I expected. Additional equipment and parts were needed. I informed them that I wasn't sure I wanted to proceed. They called management and they did not charge me the $100.00 service fee AND they agreed to discount the installation if I decided to go forth with it in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for my residential electric needs in the future! Their customer service was top notch!

I have four can lights in my living room. One night all four of them went out at the same time. I tried changing the switches out but I still couldn't fix the problem. I had noticed the Amp Electric billboards around town so I decided to give them a call. They sent a tech over the same day. He was very professional and it only took him about 30 minutes to fix my problem. He climbed up in the attic and found a lose connection with the lights. I called Joey to schedule him to come out to replace breaker boxes on my home. I should of know this was a trouble company from the moment I first met the guy. Unprofessional in manner, showed up 45 minutes late on his first appointment with me to give me an estimate, that was okay. He scheduled a time with me the following day to come out to replace the boxes. After an hour of the scheduled time he was to come out, he was a no show. I called him and said he would be at my house in a few minutes. An hour later, still a no show. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A mans work is shown by the way he sticks to his word, and in this case, good thing he didn't touch my electrical boxes, it would of have been a disaster. Please take your money else where, after looking for an hour more found a reliable company that was $200 less than Amp Electrics Quote.

A tree completely destroyed our rental property electric service Wednesday afternoon. I called Amp Electric (after finding their add in the Lubbock phone book) Thursday morning around 8:30 am, by 10:00am I had a full estimate for the repairs and by 3:00 pm, Shannon at Amp had pulled the permits, the Amp electric team had brought up to code the outside wiring and already had LP &L re-inspect and restore power to the house. All of this was done and handled over the phone (I live out of state) with great customer service the whole time. Amp is my now "go to" Electrical company in Lubbock.

We recently had solar panels installed of off 98th St. Chris H. made sure the process was smooth and was there for the entire process. The install team did an awesome job installing the system and even made repairs that I didn't realize had to be made. They kept my house from catching on fire!! They are professional and care about their customers, and their property. I would recommend them to anyone and if you are looking to cut your electric bill call Chris and he can help.

Shannon was very professional and did an amazing job fixing our breaker box as well as upgrading our service form 100 to 200. He was quick to come out and preform the estimate and got the job done in a timely manner. He answered all of my questions and my husbands and explained the whole process to us. He even gave us tips on how we could run power to our shed eventhough doing it ouselves means he isn't getting that business. On top of the excellent service, most people are pretty adamant on my dog being put away when they are working at my house or in my yard but he was not bothered by a 70lb pit bull wanting to hang out with him the whole time. Overall I highly recommend this company. The price and service were amazing.

Horrible experience. Called last week to schedule an appointment for an estimate on a house we just purchased and are updating in order to rent. Appointment was set for 1pm 2 days after I called. On Wednesday I sat there waiting for someone to arrive for about 15min or so and no one ever showed up. I decided to call the company to see what was going on and was told that no one was showing up because they were understaffed. You would figure they would call you and notify you of that prior to the appointment but no. Decided to give them a second chance after they contact us later that afternoon saying they could have someone there the next day. The following day (Thursday) the technician showed up and took a look at what we needed to have and said an estimate would be sent via email the following day. After waiting a day, no email was ever sent so we called (Friday late in the day & Saturday morning) and they said they would check with the person in charge of sending the estimate. 3 days (Monday) later we still don't have an estimate and never received a phone call. Terrible customer service!

Haven’t had to call an electrician in 20 years, was very nervous about honesty, charges, etc. Had a meter box short out and no power to my house; whole fam w pets. Called and spoke with Shannon, they were out within about an hour, gave me an honest estimate on good and worst case. Although they called another truck for some assistance and were here a little longer than expected, he also ran very quick errand to acquire box, kept me informed on what was going to happen, did a great job, coordinated w LP&L, cleaned up their work area, and were extremely professional, he also stuck with his lowest estimate in the good case scenario. My husband and I wanted to get a simple outlet installed for a wall-mount flat screen tv. The receptionist was nice when we had questions. However, was rude the following morning and sounded annoyed by us calling in to make an appointment. THEY set the time of service and we planned time off from work. The day of the appointment they were an hour late. We called at 8:15 am to remind them of the 8 am appointment that they set for us and the receptionist (Jessica) was rude and annoyed. Because of that we canceled and we will not be going back to them for service. We received a negative 1st and 2nd impression - I wasn't going to wait around and see how the service was provided. It seemed clear to me that they weren't taking us serious and didn't seem to need our business. Nonetheless, if you want to be treated rudely by an unpleasant receptionist and be waiting around for your appointment past the set time - it's your money.

I would highly recommend AMP Electric to anybody. They have done and will do many jobs for me. My first time calling them the showed up same day and were extremely honest and professional. When their tech has an issue detecting on what might be wrong the supervisor gets called over for an extra set of eyes instead of just running up my bill with the hourly rate. From that point on I have used them for a lot of jobs. I feel like they have gone above and beyond to safe me a dollar when they could and everybody is very helpful and attentive. As far as the one review with the lady on the phone. I had some issues a few month ago, but as long as you give a company a chance to let them know and do something about it I don't think it is right to be negative like that on social media. They since have taken care of that issue and the rest of them are all very professional and responsive .
