Called Frog Air & Electrical on Wed. afternoon. Technician (Curtis) showed up before 8:00 am on Thurs. Diagnosed the problem. Lightning strike. Tried his best to revive my 17 year old unit. But...it was dead. Gave me several options...really good advice. No hard sell on a new unit. Wrote up an excellent report, including pics, to submit to my insurance company. Very impressed with Curtis. I'll def call Frog again.

We were referred to Frog by a co-worker and from the first call with Jessi, we knew we picked the right company. She arranged for Curtis to come out and evaluate our system. We were told he would arrive around 1pm and he was outside our house at 12:59pm! Talk about efficient! Curtis made us feel comfortable and explained everything. No pushy sales tactics, just an honest assessment. We went ahead and approved replacing our AC unit and furnace. The financing options they offer have great interest rates and you are approved super quick. Curtis called the installation manager and was able to work us in for the next day since our house temperature was in the 90s. He even offered to bring a couple portable AC units if we had to wait more than a day. The install crews arrived on time the next day and installation went seamlessly. When they were done, they cleaned up and went over everything to make sure we knew how the system worked. Buyer beware. I never write reviews, but I feel a responsibility and obligation to in this instance. We did a major renovation of our home, which we worked with many, many vendors throughout the process. We were delighted and worked reasonably and well with all others. Frog was a gross exception. We engaged them 20 months ago to install two new Carrier units with smart thermostats. Since then, we have had more than 35 technician visits for problems (literally 35+), and easily more than 100 emails, phone calls and texts. A majority of my requests for further help were ignored and I had to continually nag them to respond and help me. I also asked numerous times to speak with their CEO or leadership about this experience, and I was always blocked and denied. As of this writing, my last request for help has gone unanswered four times and I am throwing in the towel. I will be engaging another company and paying more money to get the job done. To be clear, I was not a high maintenance customer. My simple needs as agreed to in the transaction were to 1) have two units installed, 2) functioning with heating and cooling and 3) with smart thermostats. We went through a minimum of ten thermostats, and replacement was predominately due to bad installation, not compatible, or configuration and wiring with each tech stating the prior tech didn’t do it correctly. Our follow up calls for help weren’t due to being picky... our system would not blow either hot or cold air at all. I will give them credit for showing up 35+ times, albeit with a lot of my frustrated reminding and nagging to have them do so. While they did show up and were nice and polite most times, they could never get the job done. I am a very reasonable customer and am not demanding. My needs were reasonable in that I wanted functioning units with smart thermostats. I was not a push over, and I stayed on Frog to deliver what I paid for. Ultimately that never happened, and it came with a lot of time, frustration, stress and an uncomfortable home when things weren’t working.

Stay away from this evil company. Too greedy. The technician is so rude. He didn't explain how much he charged for labor and how much for parts. He is also a liar. I bought the AC from this company 6 years ago. It's still under 10 year's warranty for parts. He said if I claim warranty, I did not need to pay parts, but I needed to pay more than $1400 for labor including tax.

I was told they are a 24 hour service and they do service calls after hours around the clock. The next day came and my home is at a temperature of over 90 degrees F* and past 5:00pm. Everett came out to do an air duct cleaning on your old house. I recently bought this home and it's needed a lot of love, and the ducts needed a lot of attention. He pointed out the areas that had mold and mildew in them. No wonder I have had serious sinus and breathing issues. The before and after of the ducts are impressive. They are so much cleaner. Our 15+ year old AC unit died on a Saturday. I knew it was a problem. Had a diagnostic done, but damage was extensive due to a small fire in the blower motor. Over the next 2 days, I received estimates from 5 companies. I sat through the pitches and did my best to compare apples to apples. Curtis was my last estimate of the day. I thought I had made my decision and was just gonna hear put one more pitch. But Curtis came over with no sales pretense. I told him what I was looking for and he simply recommended a unit at a competitive price with warranty that I wanted and the financing that I needed. This is the worst serivce I have ever received. They threatened me to leave the work in between if I don't let them use their part to replace the one which was faulty. The part cost is $23 in home Depot which is 7 mins from my house and I asked him I'll get it to replace but he said he will leave if I won't let him use his part which he was charging $185. It was my mistake calling them. They charged a total of $324 for replacing a breaker. I called the office to talk about it and the lady told that she is sorry about it and will ask her manager to call but never got any call from them. I work for Dell near airport and i will make sure I send an email to all the people telling them how bad you people take advantage of the situation Rob them charging $324 for a $23 part. I need some one to call me and explain me this. I give them 0 star.

Where do I begin? We have had Frog come out and help us on many different occasions since moving into our home in Hendersonville. They are the only company we call when we need help with A/C, Heat or Electrical issues. Our latest call was for help with our A/C since the days are beginning to warm up and we didn't want to live in an oven once Summer temps kick in. I was told we needed to add another system to assist the existing system in order to cool our large home. One A/C is not enough so Frog came to the rescue. I was working mainly with Curtis Wakefield and was told that the job might take a few days. On install day we had a team of guys out here and they were able to do it in ONE DAY. These guys are rock stars!! They installed everything with precision and professionalism and they cleaned up after themselves when they were done. The new system and thermostat were explained in detail and we are now sitting in a very cool home. If you need anything related to A/C, Heating or Electrical in your home just dial their number and you will be in very capable hands.

What I like about these guys is they answer the phone at all hours, set an appointment, arrive in the appointment window, give you a courtesy call on the way, have all the HVAC tools/supplies to do the work on the visit, quote a price, and do it. One time I had a blower failure in my unit (unit was not bought/installed through Frog), and they did the extra work to source the a new part because it was under-warranty, and only charged me for the installation labor. That saved me hundreds of dollars.

Spent 6 days waiting for our appointment only to get a no show, now I'm sure I'll spend 6 more days waiting on another company. Will likely have to replace the entire unit, so that's a lot of loss on their part. Very disappointed that we are going to be running window A/C's most of this month. Don't waste your time scheduling appointments if you aren't able to reschedule with no notice. I guess the tech was just gonna show up while I was in Nashville 30 miles from home.

Josh never showed up. I briefly went outside when I came in someone had called but left no message. I get a lot of solicitation type of phone calls so I didn’t call the number. I finally called Frog and was advised job completed , but the tech did include a note to them he called and left message to us, again no voice mail. My question is why didn’t he come by? Was because it was late? I was looking for a reliable company, I guess I will keep looking. I have requested a refund for the tune up package I paid for, I hope I get it. One employee told me it may take a while.

Butch the electrician and the staff in the office are great to work with! I highly recommend this company because these people are awesome. The work was great and not so expensive as Hiller PHC&E. I had a light switch replaced and an outside light for my steps that were so dark at night. The work looks perfect; it was difficult because the new light had to be attached to a fixture that was already there but had stopped working and was improperly lighting the stairs anyway. I had a very scary experience a couple of days ago as I went to wash my hands at my kitchen sink. After turning the faucet on and placing my hands under the water, I felt an electric shock. From my tap water. I’ve always heard that lightning can cause electricity in water, but there was no nearby storm or lightning. I immediately searched online for possible causes and kept coming across advice to call out an electrician. After calling Frog Heating and Air, Andrew was dispatched to my house to diagnose and fix the problem. He spent hours working to find what was causing the problem, and ended up replacing old frayed exposed wiring in the electrical outlet closest to my sink. I appreciated how dedicated he was to finding the issue and the reassurance he gave me throughout the day, even during the first couple of hours before there was a known solution. Since I’m 19 weeks pregnant, I certainly don’t want to be shocked anymore by my tap water. I’m thankful Andrew figured out the problem!

Andrew and his helper (forgot his name) helped install flat screen TVs and hide ugly wires. Had to tackle some odd measurements and everything came out perfect. Previously Andrew also helped install some light fixtures and smart ceiling fan. This is the 3rd service in a month we have used Andrew/Frog for our new house to help install and protect our new home. We’ll be calling again. Frog Heating and Air has always been a good company to work with. Our AC went out in spring of 2016. They came out Monday and gave us the estimate on the new system, which was needed, and had it installed by Thursday. Since then, whenever anything has come up, they have been quick about fixing it. They are a really good company to work with. Twice a year, they come out to service my ac for 99$, and let me know if anything is going on with it.

No waiting for call backs from a dispatcher which often never happen.The home office and Emily D kept in contact with me via phone, email and text. I was always in the loop. I wish I could give Frog a review of their service. But, I never received any. After multiple follow-ups from their initial survey to quote me for a fairly basic kitchen rewire, I never heard back from them. Never received a quote in the week following the survey, as promised. Never received a quote after calling them to say I never received a quote, and confirming my contact info (which they successfully used multiple times prior to their survey), to which I was promised a supervisor would be notified and I would get the quote later that day. Simply never heard back. They ghosted me like a bad Tinder date.
