Reported an outage and they had the power back on in less than an hour, people should really respect our lineman for the dangerous work the do; as a fellow electrician I really appreciate everything you all do.

Cancelled my service on 5/30 and was told the final bill would have to be paid manually. AEP pulled and extra payment from my checking account without my authorization on 6/12. I have talked with various people from that time on and each representative gave me a different version of policy and a different timeline in which my overpayment would be refunded. Called AGAIN today and now they are saying the refund is in the processing stage and I should receive it within 2 weeks which will be a 2 month turnaround on receiving a refund, WOW! If you are cancelling service and have the auto withdrawal from your checking account, have that stopped well before your cancellation date and don't believe anything they tell you since each employees seems to have their own version of what AEP policies are.

Was just informed the power would be out for 3 DAYS. This is completely unacceptable. Horrible service, too expensive, and a prime example of what happens when a company establishes a MONOPOLY.

NEVER able to speak to anyone. So frustrating. Their system keeps flooding my email with outage report responses. I have not reported an outage. Unable to respond to the emails. Must be a system glitch, but there is no way to notify anyone.

My power is out daily! I have literally been in 3rd world countries with far more reliable power than AEP and the customer service is horrible

Bought my new home in September of this year, AEP is the electricity provider. In two months, we have experienced two power flickers and one complete outage. For this reason I rate this company's service as unreliable.

Unreliable. Overcharges for electricity when they can't even keep it on. Power goes out at least once a week and the text alerts usually say they can't fix it for 6 or more hours. It usually doesn't get fixed earlier than the time started, more often later.

They scam people. I believe they go in and up the numbers in thier computer . I was gone for two weeks on vacation and my bill was more than the month before .

Power out for 14 hours after a sudden storm last night . Reported it to aep 4 times now not any help yet ! My ice has melted and everything and I just got groceries yesterday and I'm not a happy person . I know these things take time to get fixed if theirs a downed pole or something but this is ridiculous !
